Only For You is book three in The Lick series by Naima Simone. I fell in love with this series with the first book. Each book features one of the three owners of the Boston Bar, Lick. Somehow, I think this is the most intense of the three books. It grabbed me right from the beginning and I could not put it down.
The three owners of Lick fought their way out of the Boston mob scene and started a legitimate business, an Aphrodisiac bar. Downstairs is the bar area but upstairs, called The Loft, is where customers can safely explore their wildest fantasies. In this book we meet Killian Vincent. His story is perhaps the worst of the three. He had been in love for two years with Gabriella James. She was his life other than his two best friends, Rion and Sasha. But five years ago, the woman he loved, the woman he worshipped, ratted him out to the police. Because of her, he spent two years in prison. Because of her he can’t stand to be in a small, enclosed space. Because of her he fights in underground fight clubs just to feel the pain to remind himself he is still alive.
Gabriella escaped to Los Angeles five years ago after everything happened. She is back in Boston for her Uncle’s eightieth birthday. She went to Lick with her two friends with the hope that she might at least see Killian. Would he talk to her, give her a chance to explain, to apologize? Or would he throw her out?
When Gabby and Killian face each other in his office, Gabby offers herself to him, just for one night, to do with as he pleases. For him to use her body in any way he wants, to punish her for what happened. But when it’s over, will they be able to walk away? Or will they finally get each other out of their systems and get the closure they need?
This is a short, very sexy story. Killian is perhaps the most broken of the three. He paid the biggest price for the life they all led. In the few hours they spend together in The Loft, everything is revealed and emotions are bared. But can Killian ever really forgive Gabby and trust her again? There is a perfect epilogue that offers closure with all three couples. I loved this series and am so glad I found it.

This book was a fabulous read. I had read another in this series before and it was great too. I was so looking forward to this one!
Killian is HOT! As one of the three owners of LICK, an aphrodisiac bar and a very hot place, we get his story in this book. Killian is angry. Angry at Gabby for the fact she was the reason he landed in prison. Now Gabby is back and he has revenge on his mind but she still wants him.
Intense and so spicy with a touch of light bdsm! I love this series! I just wish there was more!!!!!!!!
A standalone read, but so worth getting the other books too!

Only for You is the third story in the Lick series, a steamy set of novellas with heroes who are co-owners of an aphrodisiac club. Every story so far has been a delightfully sexy read and I’m happy to say that this one follows well in the footsteps of the previous ones, providing a second chance romance with a dose of redemption and forgiveness.
Killian is still haunted by the demons of his time in prison, the two years where he was locked up and especially the 30 days of solitary confinement that started his tenure continuing to give him nightmares and panic attacks. He takes out his anger and frustration in illegal fighting and meaningless sexual encounters. When Gabriella shows up at Lick, he wants to know why. It’s because of her that he ended up in jail in the first place. As a mob enforcer for the O’Bannon family, she’d known what she was getting into when she entered a relationship with him, but he never thought she’d betray him to the police.
Gabriella doesn’t know why she’s come to Lick, though she can’t deny that she’s always wondered how Killian fared after she saved his life from an act of mob betrayal, even if it did get him sent to prison. When he refused to see her after his arrest, she left the city, heartbroken but sure that she’d done the right thing. Back in town to see her uncle, she’s moved on with her life but when her cousins take her to Lick, she knows he’s a part owner with his longtime friends. When they meet face to face, it’s clear that he’s never going to forgive her for her part in what happened to him. So she offers him herself as atonement. One night where he can use her any way he wants, punish her for how things ended between them. Killian takes her up on that offer, leading her right back into the dirty sex that characterized their relationship from the start. But now that they’ve gotten under each other’s skin again, will they be able to let go?
This is a great second chance/reunion romance novella with lots of emotional heat. Things aren’t quite as cut and dried as Killian and Gabriella think they are, and it’s not long before they have to delve into the past and discover that what they thought had happened wasn’t all true. With new knowledge shared, they have a chance to start the healing process. They can’t deny that the sexual attraction that brought them together in the first place is still strong, and they share some steamy scenes in a private room of the club. This story doesn’t have the more voyeuristic or menage scenes of the previous books in the series, sticking to the heat between Gabriella and Killian alone but it’s more than enough to keep the story moving at a steamy pace. Their happy ending is well deserved. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series, and would love to see more set in the Lick club!

Holy hell! Best book of the Lick Series by far. I devoured this book in one sitting. Keep a spare pair of panties handy.
This is the story of Killian, who with Rion and Sasha own the club known as Lick. After leaving the Irish mob and making their way into a legit business Rion and Sasha have found love. Killian has found himself in underground fights and darkness, trying to beat back the demons that haunt him from spending two years in jail and for what? Deep down his pain has come from losing Gabriella and his anger at her betrayal of him. She disappears for 5 years after he goes to jail and has returned for her Uncle's birthday. He owns the bar she worked at and where the boys used to frequent. Killian and Gabby were the match, their world revolved around each other. The circumstances leading to his arrest you have to read, to get the full picture and hear her story and his.
Coming back to Boston her cousins bring her to the bar knowing the guys own it, Killian is just returning to the bar from an underground fight and Sasha comes in to his office to point her out on the security camera. Killian is, well... you have to know him. He's hardened, his time spent in jail changed him and he just despises Gabby. After trying to get to the restroom, she comes face to face with Killian and he takes her into a private room. She tries to apologize, he's having none of it and then she offers up herself. Her body for him to take out his anger on. So he takes her upstairs to a private play room. Gabby never got over Killian. Despite her new life in LA and the opening of her own bar soon, she belongs to him.
Naima outdid herself in the steam arena in this story. Have a spare pair of panties for this book because it's smokes. There's some mild BD and toy play in here but it's well done and sizzles. As the evening progresses Killian softens a little, and asks her some things that he's been wanting to know and Gabby tells him, figuring she has nothing to lose at this point. Her fear of rejection is so strong it's palpable, reaching right up out of the pages. He gets his answers, she gets a couple of her own and she leaves.
Leave it to his two best friends to kick his behind the next day having heard the full story and knowing what happened because they were there, but they can't believe he's letting her go. The only thing in his life that ever made him happy. Read the book.... no more story from me on this one. No spoilers.
This was by far the best of the series and the deepest emotionally. It's gut wrenching and painful. Killian and Gabby were raw and honest. The agony of his jail time and their separation loops the storyline together. It's also a beautiful love story that started long ago with Killian and Gabby. I loved all three books but this one was on an entirely different level.

This novel was outstanding and sexy AS HELL! This is my first Naima Simone novel and apparently the third and final book in the Lick series, but it can stand alone. OMG. WHERE HAS THIS SERIES BEEN ALL MY LIFE? This book was amazing. It was so steamy and emotional and so addicting. I could not put this down!
Gabriella betrayed Killian five years ago in an act of love and (she hoped) protection. Unfortunately, it did not end up well and Killian was imprisoned. Fast forward five years later: Killian and his two bestfriends (and business partners) are owners of a sex club, and who suddenly darkens his doorway, looking for forgiveness and offering herself up as penance for all his suffering? Boy oh boy was this story hot. I felt their emotional connection right off the bat and even though trust was a huge issue between them, their love never died. Could Killian forgive Gabriella for what she did? and what secrets is she still keeping from him?
I already plan on purchasing books 1 and 2 in this series because I can't get enough of this author's words. It is such a heady combination of love, pain and attraction. I can't wait to read more from her in the future! ~ Ratula, 4.5 stars

Boy oh boy was this story hot. I felt their emotional connection right off the bat and even though trust was a huge issue between them, their love never died. Could Killian forgive Gabriella for what she did? and what secrets is she still keeping from him?
I already plan on purchasing books 1 and 2 in this series because I can't get enough of this author's words. It is such a heady combination of love, pain and attraction. I can't wait to read more from her in the future! ~ Ratula, 4.5 stars

This is the third book in Naima Simone’s Lick series. Since both Rion and Sasha both got their happily ever after’s it was only fair that Killian’s story be told next. But unlike his two best friends Killian’s would be harder to come by. He had loved someone before only to have her shatter him into a million pieces. But now Gabriela is back and wants his forgiveness and offers him something he cannot refuse – her - for one night – a penance of sorts. But can he get over what she did all those years ago - even if she is the only one who can quiet his demons.
You get to hear from Rion and Sasha (from the first two books in the series) and there is a very welcomed Epilogue that is heartwarming and closes the circle on the three friends who have all come along way.

Only For You is the 3rd in the Lick series, and my favorite. This time it's Killian and Gabby's story and it's a steamy, heartbreakingly emotional one! Killian and Gabby haven't seen each other in 5 years, since she betrayed him to the cops, which ended up with him in prison for two years. He has a lot of demons, had a lot before his stint in prison, and even more now that he's out of prison. He's claustrophobic and fights out his rage in underground fights and sex in the aphrodisiac club he and his two friends, Rion and Sasha, own.
Gabby is back in Boston for the first time in 5 years, for her beloved uncle's 80th birthday when her cousin and sister-in-law invite her out to have some drinks at Killian's club. I enjoyed this book. They are shorter stories, so the idea that Gabriella and Killian had a past made the story have a lot of depth for a shorter story. And, I must admit it was their story that I was looking forward to the most...and it did not disappoint.
It's difficult to review this without giving bits of it away, so I will be vague and say that I loved their backstory and I believed the way it was worked out. The pacing was strong and there were no points where the story dragged or felt like it was moving too quickly.
The characters were consistent and I enjoyed seeing the characters from the previous stories in this one.
I recommend this book, not only for the story of Gabby and Killian but also for the update of the characters in earlier stories.

Killian only wants Gabriela for sex. And boy, is there sex! Hot, steamy, naughty, passionate, did I mention hot? sex!! And that kind of sex can only be had when love is involved. Try as he might fight against it, Killian's body knew just what his heart needed. Gabby is willing to take whatever she can from Killian, even if it breaks her in the process, because now she knows she was right. The decision that tore them apart may be the only reason they can be together again.
With a series called "Lick" you just know there is going to be some naughty action. I have not read the other books in this series yet, but if they are anything like Only For You, I am sure I will enjoy them.

I absolutely LOVED their story. So much pain, pleasure and love. The Lick series is spellbinding series that had me panting for more and never wanting it to end.

This is the last book in the Lick Series and boy what an emotional and wild 2nd chance romance story it is. Only For You is the story of Killian and Gabriella. It’s been five years since Gabriella James last saw Killian. There is so much hate coming from him toward her. She wanted to protect him but in the end, he ended up in jail because of her. Killian left his past life with the mafia and Gabriella behind him. He bettered his life and became part owner of “Lick” along with his friends which is this happening aphrodisiac bar and started his life anew, trying to forget the love of his life and the betrayal she did to him. Only when she came back into his life and his bar, did all that pain and betrayal come back into him again when he saw her. Gabriella wants his forgiveness but all he has on his mind is revenge for what he suffered. Even knowing this, Gabriella still wants him.
This is an intense and deep read filled with angst, pain, love, hot and sexual tension, passion and some BDSM. Oh my! I loved the storyline and the flow of the book. I felt it was a bit short but overall the story was good. I loved the ending of the Lick series and hope maybe we get to see the characters again.

Gabby knew that when she went out tonight that there was a chance that she would see him, she was actually counting on it. She just didn't know what she would say or do when she did. Will their seeing each after all thi s time be a chance for forgiveness and a new beginning, or will it finally be the end.
Killian and Gabby's story is about young love that was tested and failed, only to find themselves years later wondering what if things had been different . This is a quick read but it's packed with betrayal, secrets revealed, passion, and a love that refuses to die. Put together with the right amount of drama and a good dose of forgiveness makes for a great read. I'm giving this one 4 stars.

Killian Vincent seeks punishment and absolution: it’s found in the fights and the pain he doles out and takes, and later, in a heavy, BDSM encounter with Gabriella James, the woman who betrayed him five years ago and left him to the dogs. As a wronged party who needs closure, he finds it in dominating and punishing sex when she turns up one night long after he thinks he has escaped his tortured past.
Naima Simone can write a deliciously dark romance—now that I know exactly what to expect from the Lick series—but it ends too quickly as it begins, closing on the implication that betrayal can after all, be forgiven and forgotten by a night of domination, spanking and submission. Nonetheless, it’s not for the faint-hearted who want only hearts, flowers and angst, because ‘Only For You’, as with all the Lick series books, delves into anything but vanilla sex and sits on the knife-edge of humiliation and torture. By the end of it however, I remained sceptical, expecting Gabriella to make some grand gesture which never materialised and wondered why Killian was the one who had to make amends in the end when the onus was on her to make that first step.
But with this particular imprint, perhaps the sexual encounter is the point rather than the focus on forgiveness and moving ahead. As much as I do like Simone’s writing, I would have loved a more drawn-out book where both Gabby and Killian could have taken their issues out of the bedroom—only so that the HEA and the epilogue would feel richer and somehow, more worth it.

I knew this would happen but I hoped that maybe this author would be one of the few who would know how to write second chances. She isn’t.
Gabriella betrayed Killian and sent him to jail. She apologised and made excuses but that wasn’t enough.
I agree that apologising has to happen and the excuses give context and maybe even understanding as to why she did what she did but the thing that most authors do wrong is that they leave it at that.
The character who did something wrong should be doing everything to try make up for what they did. That didn’t happen in this book.
Worse, the author made Gabriella walk away without trying to make up for what she did and then Killian was the one who had to go to her and make a big gesture that he was wrong to let her go.
How does this make sense?

Gabby and Killian meet up again with Gabby asking for his forgiveness. Killian’s been holding on to her betrayal for a while, so it won’t be easy. Thankfully, Gabby knows want Killian wants and plans to get the absolution in the one way she knows how.
What can I say about Killian? I really wanted to give him a hug, but I doubt that would fly with him, unless you’re Gabby. Gabby and Kilian have a complicated relationship. They used to be in a relationship with each other, but Gabby did something that landed Killian in prison. We find out Gabby’s reasons and I can sympathize with her. She was young and scared, so the choice she chose was instant and the only one that came to her. Killian is the not the same person, but neither is Gabby. They’ve both made mistakes and each did some growing, but can Killian ever forgive Gabby?
Only For You is a quick read full of steamy moments, secrets, and starting over. This was a very enjoyable second chance romance and if you enjoy those types of books, I would highly recommend this one.
