Both Gabe and Josephine are well matched, and their connection albeit quick was explored thoroughly. I enjoyed every single moment of their story!
This is my first Jenika Snow read, and it certainly will not be my last. I look forward to exploring more from this author. If you like alpha males, likable characters, and sexy steam then Dirty is a perfect read for you!

Now, this year I promised myself not to waste too much time reviewing books that did not work for me.
I thought (as I started reading this book) that it would be more like Alexa Riley's Mechanic, with the set up and the hero saying he wants to Dirty her up.
Now, that is the only parallels to this story as the storyline is completely different.
These stories are not the same which is good but also bad because I wanted or maybe I expected more from this type of story because of it.
I don't know!
I really have no idea why this story didn't impress me.
It had all the things I usually enjoy.
So long story short, if you want a good insta-lust "dirty" mechanic story I suggest you read AR book. It's not a perfect read either but I enjoyed it more.
This one was just Oaky for me.
He was just less alpha than I was expecting. He let time go and he was very realistic in his behaviour.
Waiting for her was nice and all but it was just a little tame.
The sex was HOT but he was just all talk and no bite for me.
Yes there is dirty talking, and dirty sex but somehow it did not WOW me except the ending which was sweet.
It's a good story and it's safe.
Just for me, it's not a standout story that would make me want to read it over again.
Once was enough, Thank you!
Still going to continue with this series because I have read them all.

God, why is the grease that covers him so damn hot?
Josephine meets mechanic Gabe when her car breaks down just outside the small town she will now call home.
Insta-lust for both of them.
Gabe is a caveman, but with a good heart. He definitely will not take no for an answer:

It's nice to know that Ms. Snow seems to have realised that oral sex exists, so that's a bonus! There was even a condom used in this one. Sure, it was taken off at the end and became completely useless, but the thought was there.

2.5 Short and forgettable
I dunno what I expected, but it wasn't this.
Not an awful read if you have nothing better to do but well, you'll probably forget what happened as soon as you finished the book.
Entertaining enough though, so it all depends on how much you want to be involved in your read.

The story is good but the H was not as alpha as I wanted him to be. And the h was just okay. But I loved the epilogue!
The story is about Gabe and Josephine.
She's a newly graduate and has to move to a small town where she got a job at an interior design shop. She's on her way there when her car broke down so he called the town's mechanic shop and it's owned by Gabe.
She wanted to focus on work and to settle in her new home. I understand that but I didn't feel their need to see each other. Her mostly. Maybe that's why she's not really my kind of heroine. I want more from them. Effort, time and connection.
I'm just glad there's a lovely epilogue.

SMUTATHON HAS STARTED!!! and its also the next real man series is dirty and a mechanic.. and boy this was a good quick read.
New town new life for Josephine as she makes her way to the new journey, but her car starts to act up breaking down in the middle of no where. Now like her her mind is on serial killers and mutant families coming to kidnap her.. that would be me lol but shaking off those thoughts she calls the local tow truck/garage for help. Meeting the owner Gabe, love at first site is between them and Gabe already staking his claim on his girl. Lunch dates and soon dinner dates.. plus how he gets her dirty between the sheets.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, sexy times, no virgins

Hot insta love story between Josephine and the mechanic Gabe.
I liked the filthiness of the book!
However, because of no fault of the author- this totally reminded me of my favorite AR "Mechanic" (even with Josephine/Joey)- and I missed the dirty gritty feel of Paine. However, Gabe was a milder version of him and I'm fine with that.

These are getting worse. No plot or characters to speak of in this story. Just because it's insta-love, doesn't mean there shouldn't be a plot.

This book moved a little too fast for my liking. It was pretty short. And I think that caused the plot to be a bit rushed.
Then again, I guess I’m saying that because I would’ve liked Snow to spend more time developing the love between the main characters. I just think it had lots of potential.
In all though, it was a good book. I enjoyed the epilogue that had two parts and the HEA. Also, there was some smut. And our H is a possessive alpha-male, so that worked too.

Josephine has been given the opportunity of a lifetime with her new job, it required her to move to a small town but she was willing to take the chance. On the way into town her car breaks down and when Gabe arrives to tow her car, she doesn't know what to make of him.
Gabe knows that Josephine is going to be his. Now he has to figure how to get Josephine to understand that they are going to be together, but can she trust her heart?
Very fun. This was a quickie so a bit rushed, but overall entertaining. Always a fan of Jenika Snow's work, this was a delightful treat.

This is the eighth book in the A Real Man series by Jenika Snow. Another quick read with a take charge alpha male who finds the love of his life and claims her. Gabe is a mechanic and Josephine is an interior designer who is new in town. Her car breaks down on the outskirts of the new town she's moving to and Gabe comes to her rescue.

This was okay but not one of my top books in this series at all. Gabe is 35 and a mechanic who happens to be the one who owns the garage that Josephine, 22, calls when her car breaks down in the middle of the night. The moment they see each other that night it’s immediate sexual tension left and right.
So I get that Gabe is a mechanic and the title of this book is Dirty, but oh my god how many times to we have to read that he has grease stains, his shirt which used to be white and now looks grey is grimey and ripped, he’s cleaning off his greased up hands, he wants to mark up Josephine’s creamy thighs with his greasy hands.... fuck. Just a bit much. It didn’t feel sexy at all.
Though I can get behind the dude on the cover. Mmmmkay.
But yeah, just not feelin it as much as I would’ve wanted. Still good to read once because it’s part of the series though.

I've read this book three times since I got it and the reason- this is very much the old style Jenika snow which I LOVE so this book has me hooked.
The book focuses on the development of the relationship between Josephine and Gane who meet when her car breaks down. It's an insta love alpha male story and what hit me the most was that although their relationship moved quickly, it wasn't straight to humpy pumpy. Once they did though, I was a bit confused by the 2 week long breaks they had from seeing each other (nothing dramatic, they just didn't see each other constantly) but it says that they spoke on the phone on both occasions and I realised that he was building a solid relationship by getting to know her over the phone and it not just being about sex and I really really liked that. The epilogue is fabulous too.
I love old style Jenika (I like new style Jenika too don't get me wrong, but old style is the shizzle) so this book was it for me. Sigh, I need more Gabe in my life. A solid, not even remotely flimsy, 5*'S for me.
