“I felt it. Felt everything. I knew I wanted to erase myself from the top down, like a drawing, and that still I wanted someone to touch my edges and tell me that they loved me despite them.”
“But also I miss you so much that sometimes I feel like I can't breathe.”
Being a woman with a contrary opinion does not render me hysterical. While I loved the first book, I think this series just isn't for me anymore. I didn't like the second book and I didn't like this one either. A lot of my dislike is purely on personal taste: I do not and will not support this romance between Watson and Holmes. Just because they are male and female here, doesn't mean they should have a romantic relationship. Either make them both boys and have a romance, or have no romance at all. The fact a romance exists just because boy and girl, doesn't work for me. This entire series is now based on their romantic relationship. Add on to the fact that the romance between this Watson and Holmes is really awkward and has zero chemistry as well. Plus I just really love a good platonic friendship and this series just keeps telling me I should choke for that.
