Knocked Up by the Dom

Rate this book
My darkest secret?
I let a stranger dominate me in the most intimate way possible.
He gave me three things that night:
His first name, the sweet taste of submission, and his baby.
Now my Dom is back and this time he won’t stop until I’m his.

Kylie

One wild and reckless night changed my life three years ago. I got a taste of what it meant to be with a real man--how just a whisper could ignite my desire, and his commanding voice could have me kneeling at his feet in submission.

He was my everything and I only knew him for a few hours.

But like everything good in my life, it went up in flames. When I learned the truth about him, I ran as fast as I could. I’d like to think I would’ve stayed if I knew about the baby… but I doubt even that would’ve stopped me, not after what I learned.

Damian

It has been three years since she got away. Three f*cking years. I knew she was mine from the moment I saw her. I had to have her. To touch her. For one night, I owned her submission and she loved every second.

I finally found her again. There’s not a chance in hell she’s going to slip away this time. Not again. Not ever.

I’m going to bring her into my world. I’ll give her everything she wants and all the things she didn’t even know she needs. She’ll be crying out my name. She’ll be dreaming of spankings, handcuffs, and blindfolds.

I’m going to dominate her in every way imaginable. Mind, body, and soul. Especially her body.

But it’s not going to be as simple as I thought because she has a son now… my son.

**As always, this is a totally SAFE, full length book with a happily ever after, no cheating, and plenty of steam. Bonus content included.**

**My first ever traditionally published book, Anyone But Rich, is going live September 3rd. Don't miss it!!!**

I'm a USA Today Bestselling Author and have written nearly a dozen top 50 amazon bestsellers, including four books that have hit the top 10! Despite all that, I'm still a nervous wreck before I release every new book and I still feel like I have so much more to learn about writing and publishing than I can even wrap my head around.

I'm just beyond honored and humbled that so many readers have embraced me and found enjoyment in my words, because I can't think of any better opportunity than this.

When I'm not writing and stressing about what I'm going to write, I'm trying to wrangle my two little girls who are 2 and a half and 1 and a half. When I'm not wrangling them, I'm trying to keep my husband in line.

Writing and helping run the family aren't easy, but I'd never trade it for anything!

Love at first sight!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙🖤💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌎
Character development: 😔🤓😘😄

The heroine: Kylie - she has worked very hard and saved up for over a year to get a one-week vacation and she planned to go to Bermuda and spend the week on the beach. Basically, all she packed were bathing suits, she even wore her bikini and a cover up to the airport, planning on going straight to the beach after landing. However, her flight was cancelled and there she met a very handsome man whose flight was also canceled. She did something totally unexpected and went into a conference room with him at the airport to have a sexual encounter.

The Heroes: Damien - He is wealthy and good looking, he can have almost anything he wants, but his relationships never last long and once they are over, the women are gone from his life. Until Kylie. Damien wanted Kylie as soon as he sees her in the airport. When he hears her flight was canceled, he pretends to be on the same flight and propositions her to have an interlude in a nearby conference room. Then he escorts her on to his private jet and while he is off taking a business call, an ex of his that wants him back, Faleena gets on the plane and tells Kylie a bunch of things that scare her off. Kylie gets off the plane and runs.

The Story: Damien searched for Kylie for three years, using private investigators, trolling the airport where they met and other means. Finally, after all that time, he found her when she got a job at a hospital billing office and moved to San Francisco. Though he didn’t get the information that Kylie was now a single mother of a little boy named Dean.

Every now and then I get in the mood for a secret baby trope. For this one, I liked the fact that Kylie never knew who Damien really was, so the fact that she didn’t tell him he had a kid wasn’t an issue. I really hate it when the mother hides her pregnancy and/or baby from its father, so I was glad that wasn’t part of this story. Though after he found out she had a son, he didn’t immediately ask if the child was his, which seemed very stupid to me.

Since Damien was a Dom, there was certainly plenty of Steam and BDSM in this story. The two main characters had chemistry from the start and their quickie in the public conference room at the airport was pretty hot. The only thing I didn’t really like was the love at first sight angle of the story, which pretty much was the only way to justify Damian searching for her for three years, but it just seems so impossible to me to care for someone so much after one interaction.

This book ends around 30 percent on my kindle so your forewarned. This book was short, So the relationship was crammed in quickly. They meet, have sex, all of a sudden she (i believe) is in love, He wants to take her away in his plane, jealous ex gets on plane ruins the sweeping romance by placing false stuff in heroines head, heroine runs away crying. (You just met the guy dumb ass! WTF - like a love sick teen, I felt like slapping her) <--- I think this was 30/45 min of their time maybe an hour tops. I could be exaggerating but it was not long at all. He spends 3 years looking for her, hiring people ect.. What?? Shes all mad at him when he finally finds her. Its like they had some deep relationship 3 years ago. Wasn't buying it. Their Insta, Insta, INSTA love was just laughable too me. BUT the sex scenes were hot.

Super Sexy read!!!

Kylie is just trying to get to her vacation when she learns her flights been cancelled. She can upgrade for $800 to first class on a flight the next morning or she can wait three days and go on that flight for no additional charge, however she can not get a refund. Frustrated she sits on a bench in the airport terminal and weighs her options. She is approached by Damian who tells her that they both have at least 24 hours to kill and he asks her to meet him in one of the conference rooms down the hall. Kylie decides to go for it and has a kinky interlude with Damian and then he invites her to fly to her destination with him on his private jet. While waiting for Damian to come back after taking an important phone call another woman board's the plane and has Kylie believing that Damian lied to her and tells her she's just a side piece for them to play with together. Kylie is broken hearted and leaves the plane and Damian behind. Fast forward three years and Kylie is raising her son, Dean all by herself. Then Damian comes crashing back into her life. Will she hear Damian out and let him explain or will she keep their son, Dean a secret from him? Grab this awesome book today and find out what happens. I would definitely recommend this book as a must read.

This was a good book for what it was, I actually went in thinking this was going to be fifty shades all over and I was pleased to find out that it was not the case.
Enter kiley and Damien, who meet in the airport where Damien proceeds to bang her brains out in a terminal conference room!
Of course no protection was used. Of course she gets knocked up. So the day at the airport she is scared off by someone who claimed to be with Damien and instead of asking him about it she just takes the woman at her word and runs away. Fast forward three years, Kylie has a little boy named Dean that has never met his father cause she can't find him... something that happens when you do random people in conference rooms.. just saying.
They run into each other again and start to date but it's not until a few dates in that she tells Damien that Dean is his. Of course he ants to be in the kids life.

Other women try to get them to break up but she stays this time and decides to talk to him first.

All in all it was a pretty good read, more romance with a dash of BDSM.

Amazing, refreshing! Kylie, single, has worked hard saved to take this well earned vacation, Not happening! Only to learn flight cancelled, no refund. Damian, businessman same flight, both in same predicament. You will most certainly will be caught up in them from the very 1st few pages, so read on, and hopefully enjoy their story as much as I have. Two people, most different backrounds, brought together by fate❤️! Opportunity to read an ARC for an honest review.

Quick read. I’m a little concerned about the long-term viability of their relationship. Often, the thing that we are most attracted to in a partner is the same thing that pushes us away. Is there a reason that current contemporary romantic fiction/erotica inevitably connects billionaires and BDSM?

Penelope delivered a great story again! These two great characters are hot and wonderful. There is some heavy BDSM in this book so be warned if you don't like that theme don't read this book.
Loved this book and really enjoyed it greatly.

Okay, so I expected this book to be super cheesy and fast paced. Which isn't bad in any way I love books like that some days. But it wasn't at all. This plot was really thought through it works over a long time. There are ups and downs, struggles, secrets, love, and in the end a HEA.

The heroine Kylie is a sweet, shy everyday girl who struggles with how boring her everyday life has become. She is both a heroine I loved and struggled with. I felt like it came a little too natural for her to being into BDSM when she didn't even fantasize about it before she tried it. She, of course, struggled a little with it a few times but I think for me it wasn't enough that is where the little fast passed I was expecting came in but that is also the only thing I can complain about.

Well okay, I didn't like her friend but she didn't show herself in the book that much so I could live with that no problems at all.

Our hero and Dom are amazing I loved him. You get to read it from his point of view a couple of times and it helped me a lot with connecting with him and getting why he was acting as he did.

The plot was really well written and even though many have written books in similar themes before I still felt like this had a little something a lot of the others didn't have.

For sure not the last time I tried this author and I think I will try the other books in this series as well. Penelope, you have me intrigued!

I am going to try to explain how much I HATE bdsm.

I bought this book awhile ago and only read the “knocked up by the dom” book. I found the secret baby aspect of the story entertaining but the kink was boring and unoriginal. It was an okay short story.

I also did not realize that my purchase came with two extra stories. I decided to finish this book now because I was going to be on vacation soon and didn’t want to start the books I really wanted to read before I was officially off so I could savory them. After reading story #2 and #3, I have to say I was bored and a bit disgusted with the idea behind bdsm.

Whatever floats your boat then good on you, but I want romance! Over the top, insta-stupid romance. With a side of dirty sex, of course. Bdsm is not in anyway appealing to me. Hitting in anyway is not appealing to me! The author put a huge emphasis on trust being what bdsm is about that I kept rolling my eyes. Each story had these stupid female characters just trusting that a handsome billionaire wouldn’t hurt them. It was ludicrous!

Just because a person is rich or good looking or sexually skilled doesn’t make them romance leads. There HAS to be more to the character then that. I will say that in the third book it was more the falling in love, getting to know you, part of a romance but then the “playroom” was brought out so excessively that I was reminded why I didn’t like this book. Smh

I have no idea why bdsm is this whole “playroom and toys” thing about it. In book three the male lead was very versatile in NOT utilizing all of the props. He just thought about it a lot. Which shows that a playroom and toys aren’t necessary. It’s just a stupid twist to sell books. And it makes it seem like only rich people can afford to really be bdsm people.

That’s another thing, I’m not interested in the life styles of the rich. I don’t read romance for that. And the statistics show that the most successful romance stories are about regular working class people and not the uber rich. Being rich doesn’t lead to HEA’s.

Last but not least, if you are selling a secret baby romance for the bdsm crowd then ALL the extra books included should have a secret baby plot line too! I’m just saying.

To end, I haven’t even touched on all the things wrong with each individual story either. Story #2 just grossed me out, it was borderline psychotic. Story #3 was so unrealistic from plot premise, to problem solution, to HEA, it was just garbage. Smh

Kylie meets Damien while she was at the airport when her plane was cancelled. She was really upset since she planned her week off from work. She is sitting on bench trying to figure out what to do this gorgeous man sits down and talk to her because his flight was cancelled too. He tells her that he is going down to the vacant conference room and for her to follow. At that he leaves and she decides to leave the airport but something told her to turn around.

She goes to the conference room and things get hot. Damien tells Kylie he is taking her Bermuda. They get on his private jet when he gets a phone call that he has to take. Meanwhile Kylie is on the plane when a women walks through on and the stewardess tries to stop her.
She walked over to Kylie and proceeds to tell her that Damien was hers and he would get tired of Kylie really quickly. Kiley was so freaked out that she ran off the plane. Damien came back to find Faleena there and tells her to leave but asked what she told Kylie.

3 years go by and he still has been looking for Kylie. Kylie on the other hand was left with a little souvenir of there time together. Her son was her life and she also didn't even know how she would ever get in touch Damien even if she wanted to tell him.

Kylie's friend coerced her into going to a party with her and a friend. Who finds her but Damien and she is very wary to say the least. Damien is beside himself that he actually found Kylie again. He wants to talk to her to apologize for what happened on the plane.

They start to see each other again and he gets her in the lifestyle a little which she seems to enjoy. She has a nanny that her friends boyfriend paid for so she she could have a little time. Damien goes over to Kylie's house and he meets her son not know that this was his son. Dean seem to take to Damien quickly and Kylie was so glad to see it.

On one of their nights together out Kylie tells Damien that Dean is his son. At one point he is so angry but doesn't show it because he realized he couldn't be mad because Kylie had no way of knowing where to reach him. He knows that he loves Kylie and that he is her Dom and appreciates her submission.

Twists, turns, hot sex, submission and love make Kylie and Damien have a HEA

3 stars. This started out pretty good. It should have been a short, quick, smutty read. But it tried to be more than that. It ended up being too long with too much filler. There were too many scenes with the annoying bff of the h perving on the H. this book should have been tightened, edited and more to the point. The story was pretty good and the book had potential, but I ended up skimming toward the end. Meh.

Hot, sexy and a great story which once a bonus story!

There's just no way to go wrong with this book! I loved every minute of the story! It's filled with an alpha male dominating his woman. The story is impeccably written and had me unable to put it down! I loved it and highly recommend this book.

besides the fact that it seems like the continuation of another book (sorry but when I posted I didn't see it being part of a series) it seems to me far too long for the style in which the subject is written and the subject addressed

When Kylie's flight is cancelled, ruining her Caribbean vacation plans, she throws caution to the wind and has a one-night stand with fellow airport passenger Damian (in an airport conference room). However, when she's confronted by a woman claiming to be his girlfriend, she runs, unaware that she's pregnant. Three years in the future, they meet again, only to discover that Damian has never forgotten her.

The conflict in this book is largely based on a misunderstanding (his ex-girlfriend claiming they're still together and chasing Kylie off), which is one of my least favorite tropes. Plus, the characters don't have as much chemistry as I'd like. But I do like Kylie's relationship with her son (and Damian's relationship with the little boy), and how Kylie doesn't fall for the same lies twice. It's not a great book, but it's definitely readable, especially for free with Kindle Unlimited.

Pure filth

If my momma read this book after me, I wouldn’t be able to look into her eyes. It’s pure filth. I challenge you to randomly open a page and I promise you, there will be something you can’t unsee 😂 am I saying it’s a bad thing? Not at all.

Best moment: Dean was great all through the book
Worst moment: there were a few but I’d say their first encounter was on a brim of rape, which honestly I did not enjoy
Hotness: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 4/5 (taking one star away for their first encounter and the rapey feeling)
Will I read it again?: don’t think so

So, it’s been three books since I’ve discovered this author and I think I might put the rest of her books on a back burner for the moment. Nothing against the author but I felt a little bit like the Boss(hole) (which I really enjoyed) was written by someone else.

Kylie... I disliked her SO BAD. All she said over and over and over again was omg I have to think of my son - my son comes first - my son needs someone stable. This Billionaire gets her pregnant (no not a spoiler it's the name of the book) then bump ahead 2? 3? years I don't remember. Kyle is a DUMBASS and takes the word of some skank and runs away from the H. Then love/hates him for years. He comes back in her life and she makes him prove he is a good guy over and over again. NEW FLASH you aren't perfect AND you have a HUGE secret AND if you did put your son first you'd want the best for him and having a Father who can afford the best of the best is one of those things. Stop being so selfish about getting hurt and do what is the best for him! UGH! She pissed me off.

Side Rant: If he is this Billionaire with all this power at the airport you're going to tell me he knew her first name, her airline, what flight she was on, where she was traveling too and he couldn't find out her last name or where she lived? Really?! That just annoyed me ... come on! Had they met outside of the airport and he didn't know her name I would believe it. But he had everything he needed to find out who she was if he wanted too.

Ok Last Rant: the Hero was made to be a total dick. You can be a Dom and not bitch people out everywhere you go. You can be a Dom and not swear at everyone. His character was just too over the top for me.

I picked it accidentally, just to pass some time.
Maybe if I haven't read all these cliches in dozens previous love romances I'd be more interested.
But when you stumble upon all of them in a first few chapters......
