Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie together really know how to turn up the heat. This older man/younger woman story was steamy and sweet, with a few moments that made my eyes leak.
Carson- I wanted to simultaneously hug, then smack, then hug him again. He took Virginia in at 16, after her father died. While he didnt look at her romantically, he never felt like a guardian. Then, when she was about to turn 18, he looked at her in a new light. He kept her at arms length, all the while knowing he would someday claim her as his.
Virginia - this girl fell in love with Carson years ago. Thinking he would never see her as anything but a little girl, she went on dates. Nothing ever felt right because they weren't Carson. Moving home, she knew she had to move on from her love for him. However, a date with an old high school friend was just enough to push Carson into showing his intentions.

-no ow drama
-om drama - thinking she needed to try to move on. she went on a date. Nothing happened at all and Carson came in like a caveman and carried her away

I really really loved this! It was sexy and safe. It also had real life problems that a lot of women go through. The hero was perfect and completely obsessed with the h. Great read with perfect epilogue

Urm, it was a bad quick read.
I might’ve laughed out loud at some parts because they were extremely ridiculous. I love a manly-man character, but Carson was just an insecure man who wanted to possess Jenny completely. I believe he might need some therapy. Not to mention, Jenny was such a little damsel in distress, so intoxicated with Carson and his supposedly huge dick. *rolls eyes*
Also, what is wrong with Carson and his bloody desire to impregnate her? Just chill homie. Pls.
The sex scene was boring. I just wanted Jenny to tell Carson to stfu and just get on with it... He kept going on and on about he’s gonna ”pop her cherry.” I mean, I was hoping the author would use ‘deflower’, since y’know, Carson’s a farmer and all that... Missed opportunity, if you ask me.
Overall, I have no idea why I just spent the past hour reading this. But I did. And besides wanting to throw my kindle across the room every chapter, I haven’t really done much.

Oooh Breeding~
"Planting His Seed" is the story of Carson and Virginia.
Such a sweet, wonderful romance between a guardian/ward who waits for her to grow up and finally gives into his feelings. I adored that he was so devoted to her, and the mild angst/support in the end was everything.
Two beautiful epilogues to top up this goodie.

Finally! A short story with some delicious angst (heroine thinks she can't conceive so she asks hero to separate but he won't have it). I loved this novella. Carson is all alpha and possessive and Jenny a sweetheart. Very hot and steamy. No other man or other woman. Totally safe. Epilogue was adorable so heartwarming. Fantastic short story!

Virginia (también llamada Jenny, vete tú a saber por qué) ha estado enamorada de su tutor que la ha cuidado desde que su padre murió. Hace 4 años se besaron pero él se apartó de ella así que Virginia se sintió rechazada. Me ha gustado mucho! Es cortita pero tiene todo lo que me gusta. Incluso me hizo llorar un poco cuando al final ella tenía tantos problemas!!! Eso sí, lo de querer separarse me pareció un cliché y dramático a más no poder pero... Es un libro cortito hay que meter todo lo que se pueda jajajaja.
Carson... Carson es mi tipo de hombre aunque un poco mayor para mi gusto. Aunque vamos que serán que algunos cuarentones no están de buen ver 😏😂😂😂

Just did a re-read (audiobook) on this one. Forgot how good it was. I don't believe I've read much, if anything by Jordan Marie but it was part of Hot Bites where I also read Ride My Beard also by Jenika Snow.
Loved how the H, Carson, loved the h, Virginia (Jenny) but didn't care for him pushing her away for 4 years. Still a steamy, cute, quick read.

This one is a perfect example of why I love this writing duo. Plenty of OTT, Alpha male growling MINE and the sweet virgin he claims - wouldn't be a dirty quickie without it... BUT this story also has some actual emotions and sweetness to it that make it a great read. Definitely recommend to fans of Jenika's Real Man series.

I kinda liked it because the ott hero was definitely my jam.
And I was in the mood for some crazy possessive alpha.
And Carson was all that.
Plus, he had a lot of sweetness in him.
And I'm always a sucker for that.
Also, that ending was super sweet.
So all in all, yeah, I was pretty happy with that.

I am loving these collaborations between Jordan Marie and Jenika Snow! I'm a huge fan of Jordan Marie's, and Jenika Snow's smutty novellas are one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Jordan and Jenika are completely in sync in Planting His Seed seamlessly blending their writing styles and transitioning undetectably between the two of them.
A very quick and sexy read, Planting His Seed was a bit of taboo with an older man, former guardian and younger woman storyline. The hero, Carson, was an over-the-top, possessive, caveman who knew that Jenny was the woman he wanted. When she returned to his farm after college, he was done holding back and ready to do whatever it took to claim the virgin of his dreams. Planting His Seed is steamy escapism reading at its best.

This is the third book in the Hot-Bites Novella series by Jenika Snow and Jordan Marie. This is the third collaboration between these two extremely talented authors and I look forward to more from them in the future. Carson Haynes is 36 years old, he owns and operates a ranch in Wyoming. Six years ago his best friend, Luke got sick with cancer and asked Carson to take care of his only daughter, Virginia (Jenny) when he died. Carson was only 30 at the time and he had no idea what to do with Jenny who was 16 but he promised his friend and he never went back on his word. Jenny was devastated when her beloved father died and she found herself falling in love with Carson. She never thought of him as a father figure and the night before her eighteenth birthday when they kissed she knew she loved him. When Carson kissed Jenny he knew he'd never be able to keep his distance so he made sure she went far away for college (Florida). Jenny is now 22 years old and she's just graduated with a degree in Education and she's headed home to Wyoming for good. Jenny thinks it's time she move on from Carson but she has no idea he has every intention of claiming her and making her his wife.

Great read if....you like hot reads, short reads, over the top alphas, and an HEA.
Side Note: I have read all of the books in the series and you know what? I really enjoy the fact they all bring something different while delivering the same punch they are intending. These two ladies are executing this very well and this one was no exception. The only thing I kinda wanted was a little more sex? Lol, but to be fair they hit me with a twist and I liked that too, so it was a good counter. Keep up the good work ladies!
Side Note: I have read all of the books in the series and you know what? I really enjoy the fact they all bring something different while delivering the same punch they are intending. These two ladies are executing this very well and this one was no exception. The only thing I kinda wanted was a little more sex? Lol, but to be fair they hit me with a twist and I liked that too, so it was a good counter. Keep up the good work ladies!
