The thing I enjoyed the most about this series is that all, ok most of the couples in these individual books know each other. They have a history whether they are together or not they have some kind of history. The girl who grew into a beautiful, smart, independent, loving and kind adult with a huge crush on a gentle bear who is much too old for her but who the hell cares. They are the beginning and they start off the series as well as the background story.
The story continues with the next book and we get the protectors story, the lion. I haven't read many shifter stories about lions but I do love the ones I have read and this one is no different. I absolutely loved it especially what happens but you'll have to read it to understand.
I did read the entire series and there are some beautiful scenes and yes they are shifters so they are a randy lot. They like it hard, fast, intense and emotional. They love with all that they are for life. That being said there is also a background story which lends some excitement and yes a reason to read the entire series to understand the story, the connection, the progression, the suspense and the thrill.
Is it worth the money, the time and the commitment. . . . hells to the yeah. There is loads of passion but it isn't the full story so yes it is worth it. Is the sex the majority of the book, no it fits right in. Well done.

Over all, I liked the stories, but I found as I went more into the stories, I started skimming huge sections that were pretty repetitive and boring (ie the physical parts). The stories themselves were more intense as the series went along and were intriguing.

I enjoyed this series, with a variety of shifters finding their mates, coming out to the world and fighting various evil people before their get their HEA. It was good, steamy but each story followed a formula. At least I knew what I was getting to get every time, and solid steamy adventure.

The Alaska Shifters Complete Boxset by Ashlee Sin consists of 6 books. You can read every book as a standalone, but I recommend starting with book one. A part of the story unfolds throughout the six books, and while you can easily follow if you start with a random book, you will get all the information when you start with book one.

I loved listening to every story. I liked that all the shifters knew each other and had a history together. If the heroine wasn't a shifter, they easily got accepted by the group.
These people love hard with all they have. I adore that "I can't eat, breath or sleep without you/I will kill for you and die for you" kind of love.
Each couple had a different challenge to be together, it will keep you on your toes, but all stories end with a HEA.
I liked how these people worked together to do something. Even if they didn't agree on something, they would still do something because it would make their friend happy.
Dom Johnson and Tina Scott narrated the stories, and they did an excellent job at it. Tina Scott has a soft, pleasant voice.
Dom Johnson's voice is deep and sexy. I'm warning you, his growls will definitely get you flustered.
Both narrators had another voice for each character and were very consistent with them throughout the series. They both also give certain characters the right accent, this makes the characters more realistic.
I loved these voices together, I definitely will read more narrated by them.
The sex scenes in this story are on another level. Not only are they explicit, well built, and written, they also have background noises. Get ready to hear the slapping of skin on skin and the slobbering of the character eating "dessert."
I can understand this will be too much for some people, but I loved it. It sucked me right into the scene.
If you love paranormal stories that are super steamy but still have a storyline, this is for you.

Each book in the set focusses on one couple, mixing humans with shifter bears, wolves, tigers, coyotes, foxes, dragons, cougars, and even a helpful witch and a vampire or two. Each couple also has a different challenge to surmount, like a runaway hiding from her former vicious mate, a sister searching for her missing brother, or a wolf or bear shifter looking for his or her appropriate niche in the community. Lots of steamy romance, but plenty of plot action also highlights rampant hatred and intolerance against shifters and shifter group dynamics. I particularly enjoyed the Alaska setting and the romance.

Very well written and so enjoyable. Strong alpha males and the women who love them. Not only that it is in Alaska. I think more people will love that place due to so many stories there. Of course you have the drama with every relationship. It is mysterious, loving, suspenseful, and oh so exciting. I really enjoyed these and couldn't put it down. I recommend it highly. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

I am new to this author and was very surprised and happy to see how much I really enjoyed this box set. The stories are all about six different shifters; bear, tiger, cougar, dragon, wolf and coyote, whose lives are all intertwined in one way or another. The characters are all strong, dangerous, seductive, determined and looking for love. I now want to read this author's other books.

In Alaska, where all types of shifters live, it is a time of change, when the ISC decides it is time for humans to know they have been living among shifters. The six novels all deal with members of the shifter clans meeting their mates during the tumultuous times brought on by their coming out to the world. These are not the typical romances, there is danger, death, and destruction all around, especially in Alaska.

Really Good Series
I enjoyed this entire serues, so much was going on! All of the stories are complete without cliffhangers. They each seem to pick up where the previous one left off. The characters are loveable and you find yourself cheering as they deal with the problems they have to face. Lots of action and steamy scenes work to give each shifer their happy ever after. I will buy more from this author.

This is one wonderful box set of 6 male shifters and those they fall in love with, their mates and how they learn to make that happen! They all take place in the Alaska wilderness and boy are they all hot sexy males. Each story is a journey and the characters from each story are in the other stories which is very unique. I enjoyed each shifter and their stories and will look into reading the other stories in each series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

- female narrators was great
- male narrator was okay. I sometimes found his voice a little robotic and other times fantastic.... so not consistent
cons
- the background noises in the steamy scenes. they would of been okay without the sounds. the sounds are way to much.
- increase the speed to 1.4 to listen to a regular speed.
I would still read/listen to this narrator again hoping the sounds are not in her other books

I loved all the stories in this series. There are many different shifters in these stories and each story is better than the last. The adventure, intrigue, and romance in this series grabs your attention and keeps it. I recommend this boxed set to anyone that likes shifter romances.

This was an awesome shifter series!! The main thing that grabbed my attention and kept me turning the page was the fact that love flowed freely regardless of the differences in species!! Talk about love not having a color or race!!

Great series
The characters are great.
Books got better as the series continued. I thought the last two were the best written and well rounded of the lot.
First few were lacking some info to make it perfect, but I enjoyed reading them.

Great Read
I could not put this collection down. Every night I read, fell asleep and found my phone in my lap in the morning. Captivated by the characters and story lines. Looking more with this author for sure!

More Romance in Alaska
These set of stories continue has very well written and overflowing with romance. I loved that these stories take place in the Alaskan wilderness and blend the shifter animal with the human side so beautifully. I like that all shifters were covered in this series.

I loved this series. From each couple to how they all interacted. You could feel the chemistry and connections. Only reason only 3 stars is because I felt they were a little to short for all they encompassed, so it felt slightly rushed but didn’t notice it to much.

This story was slow and too clean for me. Without any twist, turns or major conflicts, I wasn't hooked. I DNF half way through the first book. I would suggest this set to anyone looking for a nice and sweet shifter romance.
