The book's message: save the planet, find true love, trust in what you believe, have fun and make your own Happy Hours!

New York Times bestselling author, Victoria Danann, adds some warlock wizardry to the captivating witch series.

Wednesday's not just a witch. She's a modern woman who doesn't like being told what to do. It's her turn for the spring rites, but she stuns the entire colony by saying no. She further befuddles everyone by refusing to give her reasons. Hoping she'll change her mind, they recruit her friends to apply pressure and proceed with plans as usual.

The warlock, Rally, met Wednesday at a witches' gathering in Aspen. They barely spoke the entire weekend and he didn't think much of it until afterward, when he found himself waking during the night with her on his mind. He could track her down, but to what end? He certainly had no interest in a relationship lasting longer than forty minutes, but it had been months since the brief encounter and he was still being caught by friends, musing about Wednesday instead of listening.

Then one day it came to him that she must have cast some kind of spell. That was all the reason he needed to track her down.

Perhaps he expected to travel a great distance to find a compliant, cooperative, submissive female with inferior magics. One thing was certain. He was not prepared for an aloof witch who couldn't manage to care enough about the accusation to even pretend indignation. When she laughed in his face, said, "Think what you want," and walked away, he was left standing with an open mouth and the ancient hunter's impulse to chase, the essential masculine principle, blooming to life. In his pants.

Just because it’s Wednesday’s turn to find love at the Spring Rites doesn’t mean this independent and modern witch will participate. She’d much rather spend her time saving the world from itself.

Having glimpsed Wednesday at a gathering months earlier, Rally is convinced she’s put a spell on him, since he can’t stop thinking of her and he isn’t interested in any relationship that lasts more than a night. When he tracks her down, she’s the complete opposite of what the warlock expected. Instead of a submissive and cooperative witch with weak magic love spells, he finds himself face to face with an extremely uninterested Wednesday who thinks Rally is much to full of himself.

Now that he’s rebuffed, however, the chase is on as Rally is more invested than ever. And, when Wednesday finds herself in need of the life saving assistance she was trying to give the earth, she’ll find that Rally may really be the mate she didn’t know she was missing.

I’ve enjoyed Victoria Danann’s witches, and Wednesday was a fun installment in the series. Rally and Wednesday are both independent and headstrong characters that don’t feel like they should work as a couple when we first meet them, but end up being simply phenomenal together. I also enjoyed the cast of side characters, namely Wednesday’s best friend Bell and the members of the warlock coven. The coven adds some humor as well as makes me want a few more books about them!

Overall, this book shares a fabulous message of taking care of the planet and trusting in your beliefs while also giving over to true love when it knocks on your door! Sometimes it takes almost losing what you don’t think you want before you realize how important it is. 4 stars.

Victoria Danann is a genius and Wednesday will be one of my favorite books ever! I loved this book, the characters, their camaraderie, but most of all Rally and Wednesday.
Wednesday was my hero throughout with her environmental mission, but Rally stole my heart❤❤ Therer are witches (duh), warlocks, across the globe adventure that kept me on edge of my seat and a fated love. As with this authors books, I read it in one sitting having a most enjoyable evening. I highly recommend you one-click to see what unfolds. You will love it. Thank you Victoria Danann for another award worthy tale!

This book pulled at my emotions. Al-tho that is normal for a Victoria Danann book. Such a romantic book. Not going into detail, It was so heart warming that Rally would go to the ends of the earth to find Wednesday. That he would do anything to save her. This book tugs at your heartstrings. One of my favorite quotes is... “Want to watch TV?” “Not if there’s a choice between that and watching you."...
I was enchanted by Harm Licht one of Rally's warlock friends. This was another enjoyable book that took me away from the real world. I also was impressed with the message shared of the global warming and that we all need to be more aware of it! Get your copy and get lost in the World of witches and warlocks. From a Forever Fan... This is a wonderful addition to the remarkable Witches Of Wimberley series. It can stand alone, but I highly recommend to start with WILLEM, the first book in the collection. Why? Because this a great series and you shouldn't miss any part of it.

WEDNESDAY is a short story, but it is packed with adventure and romance. Wednesday is a witch with a mission. She feels her sisters have hidden far to long in the safety of Wimberley. The earth is suffering. It can no longer maintain the balance needed because we humans are causing too much environmental damage. Wednesday thinks she has to try her best to save it. She has no time for romance and even less for the Wimberley Spring Ritual where the witches have traditional met their true mates. Rally is a warlock who has enjoyed his wild lifestyle. The last thing he wants is a mate until his eyes locked with a beautiful witch at a party in Aspen. He cannot get her out of his head. Did she put a spell on him? He is determined to find out even if it means going to the Wimberley Spring Ritual.

How far would you go and what would you risk for the people you love and the earth you care about? How much would you be willing to change?

This is such an enjoyable read. It works on so many levels. What I have always loved about Victoria Danann's characters is the depth of their loyalty, their honour, and their commitment to their friends. Even the wildest of them will drop everything and anything to help a friend in need. Brava, Victoria. You have created another great story.

This is about the Wimberley Spring Rites (betrothal or handfasting), a gathering of eligible bachelors. Two eligible witches offered every year.

This incorporates a politicised message of global warming and environmental disasters.

“According to NASA the earth should be headed into a cooling off period. But no. We’re heating up. Why?”
“Humans are wrecking it for everybody”.
“I hear what you’re saying, Wenz, but I don’t get what that has to do with the spring rites.”
“It can’t have escaped your notice that we live here, too. On Earth, if they burn the place up, magic won’t save us. We’ll be crispy critters just like every other living thing. On the way to being fossilized.”
“I still don’t get what that has to do with spring rites.”
“Because! One of us has to do something.”
“Yes. Try to fix this. Go to the places in the most trouble and try to reverse the bad stuff,” Wednesday said.
“Which bad stuff do you mean?” Charisma asked.
“Whole species of plants and animals are disappearing because of carbon dioxide and over-population, cutting down forests that make the air we breathe so companies can grow palm oil and put it in Cheetos.”
Wednesday continued. “Miami will be under water in forty years! FORTY YEARS! The kids being born right now will be the last to see snow. No one will be able to go outside without masks on (WE WEAR MASKS NOW). The purple mountains’ majesty is being raped by fracking. The ocean’s coral reefs? That are responsible for thriving sea life? Fifty percent dead. Sorry. Nothing to serve tonight at Red Lobster. We’re talking Armageddon.”
“Armageddon is a myth, Wednesday,” Raven said.
“Well, if the people who died in Katrina were here to argue the point, they wouldn’t quibble about whether the flood that killed them was biblical or not.”
“When you try to talk to people about approaching doom, they tune out.”
“Because it’s human nature to wait until there’s a crisis before people are moved to take action. But in this case, it’ll be too late to reverse the damage.”
“The damage can be reversed?” Ever-optimistic Charisma piped up.
“If everybody stopped using fossil fuels and switched to solar, wind, and water, the Earth would continue to heat up for a while, but then it would start cooling off again. Like a fever breaking.”
“Fixing the Earth with solar, wind, and water?” The four ancient elements. Earth, air, fire, and water.
“Exactly!” Wednesday said. “That’s why it’s up to us to save the world.”
“You mean with magic.” Rachel sounded incredulous.
“Well, yes I mean with magic. Isn’t that what you just said?”

Rally, saw Wednesday at a witches' event in Aspen, exchanging nary a word, consumed with thoughts of her, he’s convinced that she must have cast a spell to ensnare him. Travelling uninvited to Wimberley, a small Texas Hill Country river town. Rally didn’t utter a word, he simply stood, lurking at Wednesday without sparing Bell so much as a single glance. Wednesday recognised him, as the smouldering looks were unforgettable.

He confronts her but she denies his accusations with a “think what you want” retort. On her way back to her house, the moment was transfixed in her memory when a group of warlocks were standing at the bar talking and laughing. One of them looked her way. They’d looked at each other until one of the other warlocks grabbed him, laughing, and dragged him away.

Realising there was no spell, he persuades Belle to invite him to the Spring Rites. Arriving, he discovers that Wednesday is a no-show, but in Greenland; on a quest to save the planet. Rally has no intention of returning home empty-handed.

The Wimberley Spring Rites are renown, the one weekend annually, young men are invited to spend a weekend in Wimberley, warlocks are exempt. This was a chance for one or two young witches, of marriageable age by declaration of the Elders Council to get a good look at the man they’d deemed worthy.

Warlock Rally has been fascinated with the beautiful witch Wednesday from the moment he saw her and when he finds out that she's one of the two lucky brides-to-be at The Wimberley Spring Rites, he wrangles an invite. Witch Wednesday is annoyed that she can't stop thinking about Rally, the handsome warlock she'd locked eyes with in Aspen. Wednesday isn't interested in finding love at the spring rites and leaves to save the world. When Rally arrives at the spring rites and finds out that Wednesday has gone to Greenland, he follows. Witches don’t consider warlocks as marriage material. Will Rally be able to convince Wednesday that he's "the one"?

Victoria Danann delivers a funny, drama-filled and charming story that's short and sweet

Saving the world and falling in love

The perfect combination of humor, romance, and the paranormal, I loved it! Rally is a warlock with no intention of falling for anyone, especially a witch, but for some reason the thought of Wednesday won’t leave his mind. Wednesday believes there are more important things for her to do in life than find a fated mate, even one as sexy as Rally. Rally has a bad habit of underestimating females, and this time it just might get him into more trouble than he can escape. Can these two completely different people realize that falling in love is not the end of the world?

What a wonderful story! Ms. Danann has done it once more. This takes place in mostly in Wimberley where a group of witches live quite nicely....Wednesday is a young witch with a plan for her life and mating isn't in that plan...she just didn't count on seeing and feeling something for this handsome warlock named Rally. And he didn't want to think about her...but we all know when fate has its little paws involved anything could happen. Wednesday and Rally are in for a surprise! As are Rally's warlock brothers...such a make you feel good storyline and great characters. But then Victoria Danann doesn't write anything bad as far as I'm concerned!

Wednesday isn’t like the other Wimberley Witches, in that she is far more interested in saving & healing the world than going to the Spring Rites.
A Warlock called Rally, saw Wednesday at a Witches Gathering and believes She has bewitched Him, so he goes to Wimberley to find her and make her lift the curse.
The story that unfolds is funny, sweet and a little scary in parts, but will have you gripped to every page.
Wednesday is head strong but vulnerable, Rally is cocky but kind hearted and I think they complement each other perfectly.
I loved this, as usual Victoria Danann has given us a really lovely story.

First of all I have to say I love this whole series. I love the whole concept of these witches. Rally and Wednesday have a amazing story. They will go to the end of the world for each other. Now that there are some Warlocks thrown in the mix I can't wait to see what Victoria Danann will do next. If you believe in true love or saving the world, then this is the book for you. These two characters will and can do great things with their power.

I love this series. I find the witches and their colony charming. This is the third book in the “Witches of Wimberley.” When a witch comes of age, they get their chance at love. For one witch that isn’t an option. She wants to save the world. Follow her quest as she finds meaning to her life.

This book is a quick, very enjoyable read. I recommend it. Take a break and enjoy a wonderful book.

A friend suggested that I might not want to read this one from Victoria Danann. She said it was:
1 - A romance
2 - Was light on action and suspense
3 - Did not have much of a plot twist
4 - Was a “happily ever after” sort of book.
My first thought was “Blech, based on that I think I will skip it.” However, I already had it via pre-order so I decided to read it.

To sum my opinion up in a few words (because this is a short book), I will just say I am not relying on my friend for book recommendations - my tongue planted firmly in cheek as I write that I don’t trust her opinion:
1 - It undoubtedly is not a romance. I do not read and enjoy romance books and I read this one, rather quickly, and enjoyed every word, therefore it is not a romance book.
2 - I don’t know how you could say light action. There’s a life and death struggle.
3 - Plot twist? The “bad guy friend” who I thought needed killing early in the book turned out entirely differently.
4 - Okay, there is a “happily ever after” ending but there’s nothing wrong with that.

So my friend missed it 75% mostly because she didn’t consider the author - Victoria Danann. There is no such thing, in my opinion, as a book by this author that is not worth reading. There are two negatives though:
1 - It is entirely too short. And yes, I know it is a short story/novella.
2 - Who would name their daughter Wednesday? Hmmm, it does sort of work here though.

Bottom line - this is a great, short-read, book by an outstanding author in a fun series. While it might not be quite what you’re used to reading in one of Victoria’s books, it is another awesome effort and she does have an underlying message in the story. What is there not to like?!?

Want to read a fun, sassy, short book about love, saving the planet and some wild adventures. Well, this is your book than. Wednesday and Rally , A Witch and a Warlock, saw each other at a gathering a while back, and Rally can’t get her out of his head. When Rally sets out to talk to Wednesday, well that’s when the adventure begins. I laughed at how they interact, cried out when things seemed to fall apart and rooted for a good outcome. There are so many funny, happy and interesting twists and turns in this story. Such great messages about our Planet and how working together can literally save the day. This was just a wonderful story. Victoria Danann makes you feel like you are right there living this story and sitting on the edge of your seating waiting to see what happens next. Loved it.

Wednesday, The Witches of Wimberley is the third book in this series and tells Rally and Wednesday´s story.

Wednesday can be read as a standalone. The previous books are Willem and Witch Wants Forever.

Rally, a warlock meets Wednesday at a witches gathering and he can´t gert her out of his head. He decides he must be witched and takes steps to revoke the spell.
But what he finds isn´t what he expected.
Wednesday is a modern womqn and witch. She´s independent and knows what she wants. And what she doesn´t want is a overbearing warlord who puts his nose in her dealings.
Both´s temper clash and it´s highly entertaining reading about these two characters.
The story is set in a world of magic, mystery and passion. The writing is excellent and the characters kept me captivated with their " antics ". I loved reading this book and give 4,5 stars

As this new story continues it is time for The witches of Wimberley Spring Rites..The one time of the year when handsome men are invited to spend the weekend.. Little do they know, but they are there to see if the Witches can find a mate..Only a few witches are chosen each year.
But what happens when one of the chosen witches doesn't want to be a chosen one? Wednesday has things to do..like save the world..
Wednesday kinda met Rally at event in Aspen...And he just knows there is something there...
Can he convince her to give them a chance? Can he track her down when she runs off?
Great new addition to this awesome series by Victoria

Wednesday is a part of the coven that lives and cares for Wimberley, Texas. Her coven has a supposed competition for eligible witches to meet their intended mates. Wednesday is a head strong young woman with plans to save the environment. She has goals and her love life will have to go on the back burner for now. Although, there is a certain warlock that caught her eye. Too bad warlocks are not included in the mating games. This is a lovely, sweet story that makes the reader happy. I need more happy in my life and recommend this book to others seeking a bit of joy.

Believe

I never believed I would become a avid, binge reader of paranormal romance novels, but I am. I never believed we are destroying our world, but now I do. I've experienced 72 years of climate change of biblical proportions but have been in denial of my own knowledge. A path through a paranormal romance novel to realization that we are in trouble is a strange strange source of enlightenment but there we are. Thank you. I want the mysterious beautiful world we have to grow better for my grandchildren and theirs. Thank u for what you do to make a difference.

This presented more like a short story than a full book. Continuation and last book in the series it seems. It was ok. The blending of witch and warlock. Not a lot of substance to the meet up and decision to stay together. There was more information about buying used boots than what the two people liked about each other. If you have read the previous books in the series, you understand the premise behind the "Spring Rites" party. This one sort of turns it around and lets it unfold in a different manner.

Wednesday is a wonderful addition to the Witches of Wimberley series. Our witch is a environmentalist and wants to save the world using a bit of magic. She doesn't want to be a part of the spring rites, but fate has something great in store for her. Rally, our warlock, was attracted to Wednesday from their first meeting. Will she realize during their adventures that Rally is her one and only. As always there are parts comedy and drama, adding up to a magical read.

Fabulous, fabulous and more fabulous!

Loved this and wish there more stars available!
The references to the planet being at risk are goid and I wish more people would realize wecare squandering our earth.
Besides that the story of Wednesday and Rally is good and really worth the read as is the rest of the series. Victoria Danann is seriously becoming my very favourite author and I would recommend ABSOLUTELY any of her books to all, including this one.

What a great read. Witches of Wimberley is a great series, 3 books so far (hint hint). These lovely witches have a Spring Gathering of eligible bachelors, all trying to win a prize. Two eligible witches are up every year, however this year, Wednesday has different ideas. Chaos ensues, Warlocks arrive, and depart. Just kidding, not giving the plot away! A nice afternoon read.

Are you looking for a fun, fast read for your trip to the beach...or maybe just a trip to your own backyard space? Then here's your book! The two main characters have an interesting relationship. Stick with it as the ending is well worth the angst leading up to it. And pay attention to the underlying message of the story...its an important one.

1 witch, 1 Warnock, sweet, sexy and fun

Victoria could not write a bad book if she tried. This is not her best book or even second. But it is well written with a good story and some fun sexy interludes. And it completes her Witches of Wimberley series. Take a look. It's short but powerful. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Wednesday just wants to save Earth, her way. She wants nothing to do with the Spring Rites, and even less to do with meeting her mate. This was a good novella, although the romance was a little bit rushed. I didn't get much of a chance to feel the relationship develop between Rally and Wednesday. But the snarky humor and snappy dialogue made this a good read.

Your books are TOO LONG !

My God Victoria,152 and 156 pages, how can I possibly finish a novel of such extreme girth! Sorry, couldn't help myself. Seriously, I 'd much prefer you put ,for instance, all the Witches of Wimberley in one novel. I love your stories, they're just too short! C'mon give me a 350 or stars forbid, 400 pages long!

Wednesday's turn...

When it's time for the matching for two lucky witches, Wednesday refuses to be a part of the event.

She gives the Council her word that she'll attend the event and then she vanishes. Bell is Wednesday's best friend, when a certain warlock wants to be Wednesday's prize, Bell lends a hand. Then things go awry.

Cute read. Great series.

I loved, loved, loved Wednesday! In fact, I want to BE Wenz! Her spunk, spark, and willingness to live by her convictions are traits I wish to have. Rally is smart enough to know a good thing and doesn't shilly-shally to get it. Another fabulous read from my heroine, Victoria Danann.
