The truth just hit them like a wrecking ball. Can two stubborn souls turn explosive chemistry into a lasting romance?

Cameron Blake is seething. With his selfish parents still trying to force him back into a box, it’s taking all the retired baseball superstar’s inborn grit to focus on his creative dreams. So when the reinvented artist attends his latest showing, he’s dismayed to hear harsh criticism from the nine-year-old daughter of the One Who Got Away.

Adrianna Arenas is in a panic. The single mom is caught between joy and terror when her missing child walks in the door with the man who conjures painful memories of lingering kisses and an unplanned pregnancy. And when she realizes he didn’t know he was the father, the proud woman fears things are about to get even more complicated.

Grieving the lost years, Cameron focuses on bonding with his child as his gaze is pulled by his ex’s undiminished beauty and fire. And while Adrianna has doubts over their mismatched worlds ever intertwining, she can’t deny the way her heart sings when he’s near.

Will their reunion be a swing-and-a-miss or a homerun into happiness?

Past secrets and manipulations drive Lora's characters on a journey of healing. Cameron Blake is a highly successful man despite having a terrible father figure. Adrianna Arenas had Cameron for the love of her life but when she told him to go away. HE did and did not look back except to make every relationship he had uncommitted. Lost Love, Found Love, HEA read. "A copy of this book was provided by the caffeinated services via netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion."

I previously thought I had come back to rate and review The Summer I Loved You, but apparently, I did not. Shame on me.

This is a second-chance romance with just a dash of a secret baby plot thrown in for good measure. Lots of romance and steam, and all the things I have come to enjoy from reading a JL Lora book.

Cameron and Adrianna are a good pair, and their mini-me is a perfect addition to their story, instead of the annoying afterthought that child-characters can sometimes be.

All in all, I enjoyed this book, and so would others who like contemporary, second chances at love, and a little more. Enjoy.

This is a second chance book.I'm not really a fan of second chances I feel like they are all written exactly the same and they are very predictable. That however changed with this book. This book was amazing the characters brought different emotions to the table and each emotion brought new feelings that were so real. If you love second chance books or just want to read something that gives you the feels this is your book

The Summer I Loved You. J.L Lora

“𝐼𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠𝑛’𝑡 𝑎 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑖𝑟𝑒 𝑜𝑟 𝑎 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑜 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠. 𝐼𝑡 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒.“

This was the first book I’ve read from this author and I was 100% drawn in by the cover and the blurb (yes, I’m that kind of a reader- sometimes).

There was so much going on in this book and I found myself so captivated but the plot. It’s written in the 3rd person and I struggled at times to focus on the story itself, but that’s on me- I personally prefer a dual first person POV.

This is a second chance romance, spanning 10 years to the summer it all began until Cam and Adri are reunited by an unexpected encounter (and their common bond)- their 9 year old daughter who has her mothers sassiness and father’s artistic flair. At times I felt like Cam and Adri gave me whiplash with their quick tempers and impulsive behaviours, but they were able to get past this.

I loved the secondary characters- Bron, Chase, Lux, and Lo. They really added so much fun and spark to the story.

Overall this is a well written story with a very engaging plot, I wasn’t emotional moved as I would have hoped but there was a some angsty parts that got me in all the feels!

I felt like the story was left unfinished and would have loved an epilogue. Like what happened to Diego and Frida and what was that about Elias? ... I’m left curious with the books to follow and will certainly read from this author again.

The Summer I Loved You will take you on an emotional journey that is full of tears, heart ache and love. This is the first installment in the new series, A Love for All Seasons.

Cameron Blake grew up with some overbearing and manipulating parents. They were just awful, they used their children for their own benefits. But somehow, Cam didn’t turn out to bad at all. He is a very successful artist with a background in Pro-Baseball. His love life kinda took a back to seat to it all, and never really had a good relationship since that summer with Adrianna.

Adrianna Arenas loved and loved hard that summer with Cam. But after having a falling out, he left and didn’t come back just like he promised her. It was just awful! Her heart was broken, but she had a reason to keep moving on from the heartache. And a wonderful one at that, Bronwyn, her little girl.

From the start I just adored these two flawed characters. With so many issues and so many things left unsaid all those years ago it took a while to let one another in. Their time together wasn’t without some problems, but they needed to find some kind of peace between them. Let me tell you, when they do the chemistry was off the charts! Together they faced fear and interfering family, it made for quite an emotional journey for these two and us the reader. Tissues were need a couple time, frustrations along the way too. But it was written so well, J.L. Lora wrote some amazing characters and wonderful romance story.

I am curious to see what the next installment in the A Love for All Season will bring us next. The Summer I Loved You with leave you with so many emotions once your done, but they’re so worth it. Fans of contemporary romances will eat this one up. It’s truly a fabulous read!

The Summer I Loved You - J. Lorna
He’d strolled back into her life with the finesse of a category-five hurricane, blowing everything all over the place.
The writing drew me in from the first page and is appealing. The secret baby trope isn’t new but this isn’t a cliche story, and I’m a sucker for second change romance.

This is really good.
I love a good secret baby story but the reason for not telling has to be a good one.
This is down to meddling family, one of my favourites.
I liked that one of the reasons the break up initially happens is they both are a bit hot headed, they are young when they are first together, and that doesn't really change but the way they deal with a hot headed impulse or argument does.
The separation is almost 10 years so it's a long time.
Both are with others during that time, to be honest it would be unrealistic not to.
There are no intimate details of anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
The Hero is a famous artist so he was photographed with his dates and it was on covers of magazines etc.
It mentions he was photographed with his dates but he doesn't come across as a manwhore type and there is no bragging of his past.
His ex does turn up for a brief scene.
He sees her ex in family photo album and the daughter talks about him.
No cheating.
The daughter also has a very active role in the story and is not a prop.
It mentions Spencer briefly who is in the next book.
There is potential for more stories with some of the secondary characters .
HEA.

They should have been together, but allowed others to tear them apart. When a chance presents itself, can they right the wrongs of the past so they'll have a chance at a future? To do so each will have to face painful truths, survive heartbreaking secrets and get through the ultimate betrayal. The Summer I Loved You gives young love a new beginning. Will they stay the course? Or will pride get in the way? Cam and Adri were too young to know better, now they are too old to forget, but can they forgive? Lora has a stranglehold on the heart that will break, inspire and entrance, even as it leaves you craving more. What an introduction to a talented author. (4.5 stars)

Interesting read captured my attention till the end. Cam and Adri were pieces of work for sure. They reminded me of my husband and myself with the dramatic fights and the stubbornness, yet full of love and passion for each other. Adri got on my nerves a tad with trying to hold Cam’s past against him and Cam with his outrageous jealous. Bronwyn was interesting and a tad too mature for her age in the book. Oh well good story would love some stories for Cam’s sister and brother!

I actually really really loved the story.

The writing could use some improvement and especially the dialogue. The characters would've seemed much more realistic and dimensional if it had a good dialogue but I feel the author went too extra with it because these people didn't speak as real people do. That pulled me out of the story at times.

But the plot was really cool and I liked how the main conflict was so stupid but the characters themselves acknowledge that and how they acted like dumb teenagers. Something I hated turned into something I liked and it redeemed the book a lot for me lol

The love story and the relationship between the child and father were adorable and I loved them.

A beautiful story of forgiveness and love that I recommend.

The past is the crux of the matter for both Adrianna Arenas & Cameron Blake. Secrets and lies wormed their way in, laying waste to good memories from a summer where their love was the best thing in Acacia Falls.

I fell in love quickly with Bron. Her adorable mischievousness stole my heart and gave this second chance romance an added layer of awesomeness. Cam & Adri's chemistry was another reason this story was so good. They were clearly crazy about each other, despite the obstacles in their way. The angst and suspense about Adri's secret was well-done and not too overdrawn; the author did a good job keeping me intrigued.

I definitely look forward to more from this cast of characters, and this author.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.

I enjoyed Adri and Cam's story. They had amazing chemistry and I couldn't help but root for them. I love second chance romances and this one ticked all my boxes. The secondary characters were very likeable especially Chase and Lauren. I would love to read a story about them in the future. This was a well written story and was very entertaining.

Cameron Blake has been lied to for almost a decade by his greedy parents. He had a summer of love when he was in high school. Then an argument with the girl he loved. Had him leave & sign a baseball contract that his father manipulated by telling him his girl was getting married to the boy who cheated on her all thru high school. After retiring from baseball & providing his parents with his riches & bail out his father's gambling debts. He has become a famous artist. He has to go back to the town in D.C. where he avoids for an exhibition. Where his fans weather it be baseball & his art work come for one night.
Cameron has a tiny critic with a harsh opinion of his latest work from a 9 yrs. old. When he meets Bronwyn Alyxandra the nine year old with green eyes like his; with an attitude like someone he has never forgotten. Though it was pure shock for both parties when he takes home the art enthusiast back home Cameron is star struck when he finally sees the girl who is now a woman who got away. Cameron needs to confirm his suspicions; that the little girl he just got critiqued & a force of nature could be his daughter.

Adrianna Arenas is in a panic. When The single mom gets a call from her daughter's school saying Bron has left campus to go to Cameron Blake's gallery. She is panic as a mom, but could Bron meet her father. What will his parents say who have threatened her & her own mother if Cameron ever found out about his daughter. Adrianna has never discouraged her daughter's talent. Though she did try to detour her daughter's curiosity when it came to Cameron Blake's creative talents. Now that she is missing & brought back home by the man she has always loved. What is in store for their future. She will not let the Blake family destroy her daughter. But she will not allow her Bron to miss anymore time from her father. Will Cameron believe her that the child is his? What will the Blake's do to threaten Adrianna to keep clear from Cameron. Will Cameron fight for the woman he loves this time around? Read the steamy, sensual & loving story of two parents finding each other while they find their way as parents to the stubborn, loving, caring daughter Bron.

I love this novel. 💘 these characters, they are real, emotional & Love each other. Cameron finds out he has a daughter he'll do everything in his power to make up for lost time. Both characters were handed a raw deal. Adriana with domestic violence to her mother. Cameron lied & manipulated by his Gambling addicted father & greedy mother. Both Cameron & Adri have to make up for lost time. Getting to know each other, Learning to be a father, Learn how to Respect and love each other.

I just love a good second chance romance story. So when I saw the sign up for ‘The Summer I Loved You’ it immediately sparked my interest. I read the book description and I just knew I wanted to read this book. So obviously I was super excited when I got an email approving me to read an ARC.

In ‘The Summer I Loved You’ we meet Cameron Blake and Adrianna Arenas. Cameron and Adrianna where madly in love with each other almost ten years ago. But a fight, made worse by their stubbornness and Cam’s oppressive parents made them lose contact. But they never truly forgot one another. Especially not Adrianna who has a nine year old daughter who has a resemblance to Cam and his brother and sister. So when Cameron and Adrianna meet almost ten years later they are surprised to find there’s still a lot of chemistry and passion between them.

‘The Summer I Loved You’ was from the very beginning a book I really enjoyed. It starts with a little throwback to ten years ago, the last summer Cameron and Adrianna spend together. Although you don’t know the complete story then, you can easily feel the love and chemistry between both characters and it made me want to keep on reading.

Both main characters Cameron and Adrianna are fun to get to know. They are both very passionate people and this makes for some intense moments. They both have strong characters that clash at times, and they are so crazy for one another that they make it harder for themselves than seems necessary. What I definitely loved about this book is the way it’s so clear that these two are meant to be together. The only real question was if they where able to forget the past and fight the people who wanted to do them harm.

This was my first J.L. Lora novel and I must say I really loved her writing. From the very beginning I was hooked to the pages, and I just wanted to know how the story would go. There is lots of romance, and some very sexy scenes but there is also suspense and some nail-biting moments. There’s definitely enough going on in this book.

I did find myself a little bit disappointed about the ending. It all went so fast and I still felt like there were some lose ends. But since this book is the first in a series, I hope to get more answers in the next books. And boy do I hope the next book is about Cam’s brother or sister. It definitely felt like they had a story to tell as well.

"The Summer I Loved You" is a very emotional, angsty, second chance romance between two characters, Adriana and Cameron that have been through, what I consider "hell", both together when they were younger and then separate as a decade passes by and then when they reconnect, that's a whole other drama because it's not just about them but about the safety, both mental and emotional of their daughter, Bron, who Cameron had no idea existed and he was always adamant of never having kids... as you read this story, you'll be able to somewhat understand Cameron's reasons as to why he never wanted kids...

This was one of the best reads I've read this entire month, no joke and it's actually my first time reading this author's work, and I have to give the author props because it was well written, you could feel every single emotion that not only the main characters, Adriana aka Adri and Cameron were feeling but also the secondary characters as well. This story was so profound in its plot, that the story-line easily flowed and continued to captivate my attention and I just couldn't pull away from my kindle ever since it appeared in it.

There are so many obstacles to overcome, so many feelings left unsaid, so many emotions running high, that of course, there will be some misunderstandings, miscommunications, some bad people plotting against our beloved hero and heroine and their family but in this story, the hero, and the heroine are both strong, so strong; you'll see the truth to my words when you read this story.

While I was reading towards the ending, there were some heart-stopping as well as heart-breaking scenes that made me cry and scream in frustration but at the end, everything worked out how it should be and somehow it was bittersweet to me because it means that its the end but at the same I'm so happy for Adriana and her Cameron along with their adorable but very intelligent and inquisitive daughter, Bron 💖 and most importantly, their family is FINALLY together after so many years apart; They didn't let all the malicious obstacles/people that were in their way win and Cameron with his Adri by his side, along with their sassy daughter reached with wide, open arms their well deserved happily ever after 💖💜💛💚

Adrianna Arenas and Cameron Blake fell in love one summer time when they were teenagers, but then a huge fight set their lives on a course that neither would have ever guessed. Cam took off to play ball, while Adri waited for him to come back to her. They don't see each other again face to face for 10 years. See, fate brought them together disguised as a tiny human named Bron, and it doesn't take a genius to see that neither got over the other. Not to mention, it's time to put the past to rest in order to take care of the future, but will they be able to forgive each other? I fell in love with the brilliant J.L. Lora when she came out with the Trinity, and I loved that series so much that wasn't sure anything new could top it, but I should have NEVER worried! Ms. Lora could write a grocery list, and make it exciting & addictive, so yeah, I couldn't love this story more if I wrote it myself (which I didn't because I don't have that talent). The emotional journey of Cam & Adri was palpable, so I felt both of their pain like it was my own throughout. AND they still had serious chemistry to boot, which took forever to finally lead to sexy times, but it did, and they lit the sheets on fire. The cast of secondaries were complicated as some started out with me not so much liking them, but they had to grow as well, so I found myself loving the majority of them by the end as they added more depth. Of course, some were still hated as they were the twists that kept the f-bombs dropping, but you'll have to read it for yourselves in order to really know the extent. I'm already in love with this series big time, so I CANNOT WAIT for the next book to come out, as I still think there's some questions to be answered. Anyway, I'll just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

Some people should never be parents, especially, those who’ve purposely ruined their children’s lives by telling deceitful lies and keeping secrets from them, all the while selfishly taking from them. Those lies and secrets can force someone to make decisions that will have consequences and affect so many others. This is the premise of The Summer I Loved You, an emotional and angsty second chance love story that proves Fate can rectify past mistakes, even if it takes a while to do so.

Cameron Blake decided to quit a successful baseball career, something his father pushed into, and become the artist he’s always wanted to be. When he meets a young admirer he discovers a secret someone kept from him, for too many years. He’d never forgotten Adrianna, the girl he fell in love with and left him bitter when they broke up, so many years ago. And he wants to make up for the time lost.

“I’m just your summer fun and summer’s over, so it’s back to the real world.”

Adrianna Arenas made a mistake years ago, when she was too young to know better, and she and her daughter, Bronwyn, paid the price for it. When she has the chance to correct it, Adrianna decides to take a chance, despite her fears that there might be consequences that will harm her family. Now that Cameron knows the truth, and he wants to be a part of Bronwyn’s life, Adri’s not sure if she’s going to be a part of it, too. But it turns out she might not have a say, because Cameron plays to win.

“I’m telling you that everything in the last ten years of my life has been only about you. I ran from you but you were never far away. I sketched you without meaning to. You were in everything I did. You still are.”

When Cameron Blake hears a dissenting opinion of his art at one of his showings, he's surprised to find the non-fan is a young girl of about 9 years old. She's bright, she's bold and she's opinionated. And she somehow ignites protective feelings in him that Cameron didn't even know he possessed, and he finds himself escorting her home in his limo. Imagine his (and Bron's mother's) surprise when Bron's mother turns out to be Cam's ex of about 10 years. Hmm...

When Adrianna Arenas hears from her daughter's school that Bronwyn skipped that day, she's frantic. As a single mother to the light of her life, she's the quintessential over-protective mom who worries incessantly about her daughter's safety. But when Bron skips in and unknowingly brings Adrianna's ex into her life, how will Adriana (and Cam and Bron) react to the news that Cam is Bron's father? Yikes! Cue the angsty good times. But not over the top in any way. Just a lot of time spent rebuilding trust and finding that their love had never died and that Cam's parents had truly done both of them a disservice in more ways than one.

The Summer I Loved You is a wonderful second chance romance. Cam and Adrianna were real characters with realistic problems and realistic behavior. Their second chance did not come easily to them. No, they had to work extremely hard to overcome their past issues, and to overcome what Cam's parents had done to them. J.L. Lora did a fabulous job here, and I am very definitely looking forward to more from her.

Adrianna and Cam had a whirlwind of a summer when they were young but once that summer ended they knew they’d never cross paths again. Almost 10 years have passed before Cam steps foot near their old home town again (excluding any games) and he meets someone he was definitely not expecting. They are thrown back together and just when they start to let their guards down the past comes back to bite them. They have to decide if their chemistry and love is stronger than their past battles.

I love a second chance romance. There is just something about two characters reuniting and reconnecting that remind me of my own happily ever after; in this case both Cam and Adrianna lived with regrets of how they parted ways but neither one of them expected a chance to reconnect. Feelings were hurt and hearts were broken but they still couldn’t deny the connection between them. I really enjoyed the journey the author took us on with this couple. The pacing was fast but steady; there was a lot packed into the pages of this book but I didn’t feel like anything was rushed. The timing was consistent and the only ‘jumps’ in time were a few days or a week at a time (there were a few flashbacks but those were easily distinguished by the header letting us know we were back in 2007). Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to all my romance loving friends.

Cameron Blake was a wealthy lead player in major league baseball before following his dream to become a successful artist. Cameron had no love for his manipulative parents who used him as their own personal bank, his mother to maintain her place in society and his father to feed his gambling habit.

Adrianna Hayes was a successful restaurant owner and the loving daughter of a school teacher and her abusive late husband.

Adrianna and Cam had been very much in love, and having a secret affair at high school, when under circumstances not in their control, they went their separate ways.

Ten years later Adrianna and Cam were to meet up again and much to Cam's surprise he found that he was father to a nine year old daughter, he was to also find out that they had been kept apart by his scheming father.

Cameron and Bronwyn, his daughter, loved one another from the start and it was obvious that despite both of them dallying with other partners, Adrianna and Cameron were still very much in love.

What was the secret that Cam's father was blackmailing Adriannna with ?

Will the truth come out and will it damage their relationship ?

This is a beautiful story of love conquering adversity, it has strong characters with plenty of chemistry. Bronwyn is a delightful character, funny, scheming but totally lovable. A great story, I will look for more from this author.

This book was both boring and annoying and I don't think there was a single character that wasn't annoying. With their kid that author did that thing where they make the kid super special and talented and amazing in everyway, and I always find that so annoying and dumb. Is the father supposed to love the kid more because of how special they are?

There's an annoying sex obsessed bff that rather than provide a sounding barrier and some emotional support to her friend after the father of her child has come back into her life, she instead is all like yeah you should jump that guys bones did you see how hot he is. Is that all some of you think about?

The chemistry and bond or whatever was just not there between the MCs and I don't think they should ever be together. It was one thing for them to be the way there were as teens but not as adults. It never felt like the two of them had grown up. They also never felt like a family and the way the hero went about some things was really manipulative and selfish, like shopping for houses with his 9 year old daughter he's known for a week and telling her how they're all going to be a family and buying her a puppy, all without talking to the mother first so she looks like the bad guy for suggesting they slow down a little.

This story had potential but I kept getting annoyed and the actions of everyone and I could not be bothered with this.

The Summer I Loved You is a five star read for me!

J.L. Lora, where have you been hiding? The opening pages of the prologue really lured me in. This second-chance romance turned into a very complex, heart-wrenching tale that left my emotions in shambles. Who knew that Cameron and Adrianna would be reconnected again!

I thought the way the author did the whole thing with Bron leaving school and showing up at Cam's exhibit was really original and unique. I do have to say though, the shock at finding out he has a daughter wasn't as big of a deal as I would have liked. But that's where Cam is different. He's honestly unlike any character I've read before--baseball player turned artist--so I just sort of let the story take me away as the drama unfolded with him and Adrianna.

Lora has a way with her words and I found that I wasn't able to put the story down until I knew how it was all going to end. There were some not-so-easy moments throughout the story that left me gutted but they didn't give up. As I mentioned earlier, this is a very complex story but Lora did a fantastic job laying the foundation for what was going to take place. Ups and down, good and bad, The Summer I Loved You had it all. Now that the author has my attention, I'm excited to see what else she's written.

The summer I love You was the first book I've ever read from this author.

I like second chances romance so when I started to read this book I hope that it will be good one. I like also when second chances giving me a little drama... because then book can be deadly goreous.

What I liked the most was the tension between Adrianna and Cam...

I love to read when I have this kind of passion in my books. Your heart can beating so strong that You can hardly breathe . .. Yes I love feel this way during reading my books.

J.L.Lora have very wicked plan with The Summer I love You... This tittle is very adequate for what, You find in this story,

Summer is hot and steamy sometimes, right ? And that how for me this book was write.

Adrianna and Cam have common past . They even have one thing together, which reminds Adrianna how quickly love can change Your world forever.
When You met them .... You know they perfect for each other, but sometimes forgiveness is the most complicated thing in our lifes. If You want to move on there's only 2 ways out - give up everything or take Your chance for happiness back.

I loved this second chance romance, for sure I come back for more to this author .

He swore to never come back. She promised to hold him to his word.

After years of living the life his oppressive parents wanted for him, Cameron Blake is ready to pursue his dreams of being a reclusive artist. Pleasing the faithful baseball fans of the New York Emperors has been rewarding, but now all he wants is peace and quiet. That and an irreversible vasectomy. Because there’s no way he’s passing on the heavy burden of the Blake genes to an innocent child. But Cameron never gets what he wants. Ever.

The last thing Adrianna Arenas needs is for her ex to slide back into her life. Not when she can throw a nine-year-old curve ball that will change his game. Not when his father could tear her world apart with a simple phone call. Especially not when, despite everything that stands between them, her insides go wild when Cameron walks into a room. But Adri never gets to keep things the way she needs them. Ever.

After ten years, fate brings Cameron face-to-face with Adrianna, the woman he never forgot, and the little girl that ties them forever.

It all goes back to the secrets, jealousy, and heartache that destroyed the magical summer when they loved each other madly, broke each other’s hearts, and changed each other’s lives.

Cam and Adrianna were teenage loves that were brought back together by their nine year-old daughter, which set the stage for a great story. Cam, a successful former baseball player turned artist never got over Adrianna and was thrown for the biggest life loop when the daughter he never knew he had pops up to meet him. Cam has the worst parents in history that kept Adrianna away from him. Adrianna is forced to deal with her feelings for Cam, both past and present. I loved, loved, loved Bronwyn as their daughter and some of the best scenes were with Bronwyn and Cam's younger brother. I I thought this book was okay. It got off to a good start, but it was a little too long and was slow after the first half. There was quite a bit of family drama that Cam had to deal and hints of a possible romance between Cam's brother and Adrianna's best friend. Though I liked the story overall and the characters, the chemistry between Cam and Adrianna wasn't there for me like I wanted it to be. The love scenes just fell a little flat for me.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

What's kept in the dark will always come to light

Both Adrianna and Cameron were lied to by Cam's father for very selfish reasons. He held info that kept Adri from ever contacting Cam about Bronwyn. Cam and Adri had always loved each other and were forced, and kept apart by lies. Neither one could get the other out of their system, even when they tried. No one else would do.

When Cam accidentally met Bron, their whole world shifted. They both had to learn how to co-parent and deal with the lies that tried to continue to keep them apart for ten years. Bronwyn was such a well mannered and sweet child that everyone fell in love with. She was her Dad's mini-me.

This story was very interesting as it unfolded to show how selfish Walter and Marilyn Blake were. They were the parents from hell. To top that off, both Cam and Adri had to learn how to deal with their anger issues, if not for Bron but for themselves. There were still some things left up in the air in the story that was left unresolved but I assume that is for the next book.

I did not like how it ended and wanted more of an HEA for Cam and Adri
