"I'm so glad you found me."
"He wanted me."Jack Hunt heads up the sports division in The Agency. A player with the ladies and a successful businessman, he is on top of the world. When Samantha Cole reappears in his life, his entire world is turned upside down. After sharing one night of passion eight years ago, Jack had done everything he could to forget about her. Samantha is the little sister of one of his athletes and a forbidden romance with a client's little sister would be completely out of the question. But when he sees her, the passion reignites and once he has her back in his arms this time he doesn't want to let her go. But with so many secrets and hurt feelings between them, how can they possibly overcome and make a life together?
"Don't go. Come to me instead."Told in dual POV, Endorsed is a sweet and steamy romance with strong characters and a heart rendering plot. The circumstances between Jack and Samantha are heartbreaking as both most come to terms with the decisions they have made. The consequences of the time lost between the two are truly despairing and yet, once the secret has been revealed the aftermath is even more agonizing. I felt empathetic for both characters and their plight. The journey between the two was tender, heartbreaking, and truly stunning. The tempo of the writing is fluid as the emotions of each moment are revealed. The presence of the secondary characters and the support they offer Jack and Samantha play a pivotal role in the plot. It was such a great addition to have more of Brett and James and the life they are living together. The friendship and loyalty shared between the agents working in The Agency plays an essential role in this series and with alpha heroes, success, and their spunky women by their side, this is one series that I will never get enough of.
I took a final peek at myself in the mirror, brushing away the fallen specks of eye shadow and fixing my eyeliner...It seems like a throwaway description, but when you read it, you know exactly what that looks like and it 100% puts you in the story. I feel that Marni does these types of descriptions so so well.
