My client’s younger sister is off-f***ing-limits.

Getting my first big client signed to the NFL was the second best moment of my life. Escorting his sister back to her hotel was the first. Imagining what she would feel like, look like, taste like—none of it was as good as the real thing.

If her brother found out, it would destroy my career, so I ended things between us.

Eight years later, the girl who got away still owns me.

First I’ll make her forgive me, and then I’m going to make her mine.

He’s owned my body for far too long.

It’s been years since he’s touched me, and my skin still remembers every brush, stroke, and thrust. I want to forget how good it felt. Almost as much as I want to do it again.

We can’t finish what we started until I make my confession.

I have a secret—and one that wasn’t mine to keep.

Before he can love me, he’ll have to find some way to forgive me.

I was so excited to get my hands on this book. I enjoyed Jack in Signed, Brett & James’s story, so I couldn’t wait to see him find his happily ever after and how he went about it. This book is on Sports Agent Jack Hunt and Interior Designer Samantha Cole. And for those of you that Read Signed, we get lots of Brett and James too💗

The book starts out with two prologues from 8 years ago. One from Jack’s POV and the other from Samantha’s POV. From those prologues I knew where this story was going to go. In saying that, I’m a sucker for these stories. I fall face first into the pit of “gimme gimme gimme more”

Jack is business driven. Seeks success and will do everything to get it, and this means not getting involved with a clients family member, no matter how much he wants it. He is an agent for several huge sport stars, from football, to basketball, to you name it, sports. He’s hot as sin and he is dripping sexiness in his wake wherever he goes. His success has helped the agency he has built with his 3 best friends succeed and be one of the biggest and best Talent Agency in the country. He’s not a relationship type guy. He’s really only had wanted something once and he let it go to pursue his business dreams. So when he sees this blast from his past, how hard will he work to win her back.

Samantha. What the heck do I say about Samantha. She’s beautiful, and once we truly get to know her in this story, I loved her strength, her drive to be something outside of the success of her family. She doesn’t let things from the past bring her down, she pushes through to succeed. She’s determined to keep her life private and she protects what’s hers at all costs. She will hold the truth, tell a lie, omit the truth, however you want to look at it, she’ll do it in order to protect herself.

Without giving away what happens in this story, I want to say a couple things, my one issue with this book. I didn’t like how Samantha carried the hurt of the secret that was kept. To me it wasn’t just her fault and I didn’t like how she carried that throughout the whole book. This book is insta love too, add hot chemistry but insta love that moves ahead to years later.... Sometimes believable, and it did work in this book, just hate the years in between. HOWEVER, the epilogue, oh god that epilogue completely made it all better for me. One of the best I have ever read.

If you want a fast, sweet, sexy as hell book, pick this one up. I definitely love this author. I know I will like anything she writes, bring on Max❤️

"I'm so glad you found me."

Endorsed is a contemporary romance featuring a sports agent and the one who got away. A delicious blend of passion, romance, and a cast of unforgettable characters, Endorsed is an absolute must read! Although it can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading Signed first so that you can meet all of the players in The Agency.

description
"He wanted me."
Jack Hunt heads up the sports division in The Agency. A player with the ladies and a successful businessman, he is on top of the world. When Samantha Cole reappears in his life, his entire world is turned upside down. After sharing one night of passion eight years ago, Jack had done everything he could to forget about her. Samantha is the little sister of one of his athletes and a forbidden romance with a client's little sister would be completely out of the question. But when he sees her, the passion reignites and once he has her back in his arms this time he doesn't want to let her go. But with so many secrets and hurt feelings between them, how can they possibly overcome and make a life together?

description
"Don't go. Come to me instead."
Told in dual POV, Endorsed is a sweet and steamy romance with strong characters and a heart rendering plot. The circumstances between Jack and Samantha are heartbreaking as both most come to terms with the decisions they have made. The consequences of the time lost between the two are truly despairing and yet, once the secret has been revealed the aftermath is even more agonizing. I felt empathetic for both characters and their plight. The journey between the two was tender, heartbreaking, and truly stunning. The tempo of the writing is fluid as the emotions of each moment are revealed. The presence of the secondary characters and the support they offer Jack and Samantha play a pivotal role in the plot. It was such a great addition to have more of Brett and James and the life they are living together. The friendship and loyalty shared between the agents working in The Agency plays an essential role in this series and with alpha heroes, success, and their spunky women by their side, this is one series that I will never get enough of.

description

Overall, I highly recommend Endorsed to anyone who enjoys a sweet and steamy read with beautiful characters who experience a second chance at love. Samantha and Jack are a perfect match and once again Ms. Mann has created an EPIC love story that I will never forget.

I’m going to keep this short because I’m afraid to reveal too much. I absolutely loved this story. It was the perfect kind of second chance romance that I love to read. It was charming, extra steamy, full of sincere emotions, genuine characters, and a general sense of authenticity. I was able to put myself in each of their shoes and the way the author led me down this road had me easily falling in love with both Jack and Samantha. While I did judge Samantha for her decisions, I didn’t hate her for them. And while Jack’s reaction to learning some truths could be seen as a bit harsh, I couldn’t fault him because I’d probably act even worse if I found myself in the same situation. These characters showed their humanity through their vulnerability and mistakes, which made them irresistible. Getting to see the old gang again and to see them happy was just icing on the cake.

It was ok. Signed was a much better read for me.

I wanted to like Samantha but her decisions didn’t sit well with me. Its not fair what she did to Jack and there’s no excuse. She was selfish and even though she was sorry, I just couldn’t connect with her anymore.

Jack was ok. I liked him but didn’t love him. I felt there was more of a sexual connection between him and Samantha, rather than an emotional one. I never truly felt the love between them.

Overall this was an ok second chance romance. The writing was great as usual but the story wasn’t my favorite from this author.

Detestei principalmente a Samantha.

I’m really digging this series by Marni Mann. In book two, Jack Hunt, a sports agent, falls for his client’s little sister. There’s a little bit of everything included in the story...forbidden romance, friend’s little sister, second chance romance, and on more that I FLOVE, but i don’t want to spoil it for you.

Things heat up between Jack and Samantha when her brother signs on as his client. They share a hot night of passion, but it ends pretty quickly. When Jack sees Samantha years later, he realizes that she’s the one who got away. They face a few obstacles and have huge secrets looming over their rekindled romance, but love wins out.

Endorsed is sexy, HOT, and has such a sweet ending. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Oh someone who has read the book, will you please tell me what her secret is when they meet again after 8 years? I am guessing it is something original !#$?! like an unplanned pregnancy and a secret child...

Well, if not, and if it is something else, please let me know. Otherwise, this book goes to my "Nope, same old cliché" shelf...

3 CROWNS

Endorsed by Marni Mann was an okay read for me. It left me feeling ambivalent towards the story, overall.

What I liked:
•The physical intimacy was hot. Jack’s mouth and desire to please a woman was insanely attractive.
•Jack’s reaction to the surprise and his subsequent actions did serious things to my ovaries.
•The characters are likable, and I particularly loved the members from the agency.

What I didn’t like:

•EVERYTHING was predictable. There is not one aspect of this story that surprised me. From the minute I read the verbiage in the email, I knew what was coming.
•the conflict was resolved with too much ease. What should have been a hard road, with maybe some pent anger and residual tension was solved so easily.

Will I still read Marni Mann? Absolutely. I loved Signed. She writes incredibly good sex scenes, and the chemistry is always off the charts. This one was just a miss for me.

I’m going to try and make this as spoiler free as possible so bare with me! This book! These characters! And this freaking author! I mean really do I need to say more? Ok of course I do but you know what I mean!!

Jack, we met him in Signed and I adored him then. And in this book talk was so much football! And I loved it! A sexy man, an awesome sport, and so much more to connect on from there!! Enters Samantha, and these two hit it off. But things like life happens and eight years go by. And boy does an adventure start! One you’ll want to follow every twist and turn through!!

So Jack and Samantha, they’re perfect for each other even all these years later. They compliment each other perfectly and just, nothing but complete adoration for them! Hey have their issues, don’t get me wrong. Things that could force everything to go wrong. But, it’s Jack and Samantha so we don’t need to worry about that right?

Add in appearances by Scarlett, Max, Brett, and James and you have my second family on your kindle. I adore the love and friendship this group has for each other and it’s one of my favorite things about these books. These friends always have each other’s backs and can always talk each other off the ledge! (Ask Jack about that one!)

There is one part about this book I love most but I won’t say more than this. You’ll know what I’m talking about but it made the book and was just what stole my heart! Right along with Jack and Samantha! I didn’t want this book to end. I’m ready to dive back in! I’m so in love with this book and these characters!!

I really enjoyed this story. I love how Jack fights for what he wants. He's one of the most tenacious characters I've ever read. I love this series so much, and how all the characters act as an amazing ensemble cast. I can't wait to see where this series goes next.

Hmmm sexy Jack

The guys from The Agency just keep getting more sexy has read these book. I thought Brett was gorgeous in Signed but wow Jack is sexy. He is so confident and when he wants something he get it. Jack Hunt runs the sports division of The Agency he doesn't have much time for anything but his job. He is alway away so a relationship is the last thing on his mind. But there has alway been someone in the back of his mind. The only thing was he should of never touched her in the first place.

Free Image Hosting at FunkyIMG.com

Samantha Cole is the younger sister of Shaun Cole who is one of the players on Jack client list. Samantha is close to her brother and Jack is the person she shouldn't be getting close to. But when a hot sexy guy like Jack is there it's hard for her to take her eyes of him. One thing led to another and they ended up spending the weekend together. The only thing was that Jack didn't want it to go further the weekend. He has to much riding on having Shaun has a client to mess with his sister. Things didn't end good between them cause Jack was a bit of an arse. But fast forward 8 years and they were meeting again for the first time.

I m a sucker for a second chance romance and Jack and Samantha were great. There were times where I wanted to slap Jack's sexy ass but then I luvd him in other parts. Samantha I just luvd she is a strong woman and has been through a lot but she has dealt with everything so well. The only thing I wanted from her was to make Jack work hard to get back in her good books. She let him away with his crap twice the guy needed to be made to work harder. She's a hot woman and he wanted her. I know she wasn't great in what she did but she dealt with it the only way she thought was right. But it's hard when the guy you have had feelings for for 8 year is in front of you looking more sexier then she remembers how could she resist him.

I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read Max and Scarlett's books. This story was really good it flowed really well and the characters are just brilliant I luvd them all. I would recommend this book overall it was really good.

“You’re the one that got away
You let me
I want you back

Endorsed takes you behind the scenes into the life of a Sports Agent and his ever present complicated love life. From representing one of the top players in the NFL to falling in love with his client's sister, life was certainly never boring for Jack Hunt.

They say you always want something that you can’t have and for a man like Jack, this saying was no different. Eight years ago, he knew that his career was going to take off with a star player like the one he had and he couldn’t be any more happier. What he wasn’t expecting, was to fall for the little sister of his client and having one weekend with her changed the entire course of his life.

For the past eight years, Samantha Cole has been career driven and she’s more than ok with that. After all, the one guy that has ever meant something more to her, just discarded her like an end of the year contract. But as hard as letting go of Jack was, Samantha got something much more priceless in return and keeping secrets just became another thing on her list.

I loved that we got a chance to catch up with the previous characters from Signed and delved into their world a little bit more. Jack and Samantha’s relationship was certainly complicated and I did find the plot rather predictable. I wanted Samantha to have more of a backbone when it came to letting Jack back into her life but that’s just my opinion. Despite that tidbit, I still enjoyed this one and I’m curious to see what’s going to happen next with another couple.

4 Look at those Hands Stars!!

***Read Laura’s warning before diving into this book***
Have your Sham-Wow panties clean and ready to go before reading this one!!!

Young and just signed his first big time NFL player, Agent Jack Hunt is loving his career right about now. At 23, he is learning how to deal with holding down his job and becoming successful at what he does. When his first ‘client’ has a 19 yr old sister that is smoking hot… He finds the time to spend some quality time with her.

Listening to his peers, cut all ties with the sister is what is best. Can’t risk losing a client over sleeping with the sister!!!

Samantha Cole is the 19 yr old hot sister. She has spent the past 3 days with the older, more mature Jack. Three days and she has fallen hard for him. He was nothing like the boys back in college, that’s for sure!!!

Now 8 years later, everyone has grown up. Can the breakup that happened so many years ago still be flaming? Or has the time allowed both to grow up and move on?

The two are good together…the sheets, the car, you name it… these two can make use of every environment they are tossed into. Shifting gears, not a problem.
Enjoyed this easy flowing, somewhat predictable book!

First of all, I wanna say that if you read Samantha's prologue you will probably guess what is going on and what her secret is. Second, I don't believe that Jack never heard anything about it in the past 8 years. I don't believe that. Shawn must have said something about it. I was a little mad at Jack about the way he treated Samantha but other than that I loved the book. I took my e-reader to my dentist because I wanted to see what was going to happen next. I wanted to see Jack and Samantha get their happy ending. Shawn was a cool dude. I hope he will get a story. I am also eager about the next two novels. I smell a friends to lovers book coming soon our way and I hope Scarlet's story will also belong in a good genre. I love the guys at the agency and I am happy that we get to see them a lot in the books and they are not just passing by.

I don't wanna talk about the story because I might give something away. I wanna say though, that it was good and it kept me engaged even if I didn't support some of the decisions the characters made. The positives outweigh the bad though and I am recommending this book!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.

Endorsed started (and maintained) all of the heat of Signed and I am all here for it! Jack and Samantha's chemistry leapt off the page and Marni Mann did a fantastic job of showcasing both POV's: I totally understood why Jack begged off of having a relationship in the beginning (though he so could've handled it better), as well as Samantha's heartbreak over being rejected. I really enjoyed the way we could see the change in both characters despite the 8 year time jump in the story, but I really wish we could have seen them develop their relationship a bit more beyond the instalust they felt and the residual feelings from a few days spent together in their past. While I was able to guess what the big secret was, I do think that it was plotted out very well and the issues that came with it were written very realistically (if not a bit rushed). On the other hand, I like that the drama wasn't overly drawn out and was very pleased with the HEA we got. I sped through Endorsed in a single sitting and can't wait to read more from the author! 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

These Agents cannot be any sexier/hotter. They sure know how to treat a lady! Jack was gorgeous, inside and out. Samantha was only 19 when she met Jack and they get together again 8 years later. Both of them have never forgotten the night they spent together. They start learning about each other, and secrets unfold. This is one hot sexy read. Just short of 5 stars...Well done again Marni Mann.

Review by Lisa Kane

This is my first read from this author. Jack Hunt was twenty-three years old, a brand new sports agent and had just had his first client, Shawn Cole, sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans. It was a moment to celebrate. And also a moment of weakness when he allowed himself to give in to his attraction for Samantha, Shawn’s baby sister.

She was the most beautiful girl I’d ever seen. She didn’t just deserve my attention; her presence demanded it.

Jack knows whatever this is can’t go anywhere. Samantha is young and the sister of his star client. They might be great together, but it has to end.

“Your brother can never know what happens in here. If he ever found out, it could ruin my career.”

So what does Jack do after the explosive weekend that the two shared? He shuts her down. Every text, every phone call..until he finally sets her straight.

Jack: I’ve gotten all of your messages. I’ve been extremely busy. Samantha, what happened between us has to stay in the past. I need you to stop contacting me and move on with your life. You can never be more than my client’s little sister.

Me: Got it. Loud and clear. You won’t ever hear from your client’s little sister again.

Fast-forward eight years. Jack still represents Shawn Cole, whose team is headed for the Super Bowl. Samantha is older and more mature and is at the top of her game as an interior designer. Jack and Samantha’s paths have not crossed in all these years. She rarely goes to family functions and she makes sure she’s only at the games where Jack is absent. But with the biggest game of Shawn’s career coming up-she’s about to face Jack.

I’d thought about her several times after I returned to LA and cut things off between us. But I never asked Shawn about her, he never brought her up, and I never searched for her online.

My client’s sister was off-fucking limits.

Ending things between us was the best thing for the both of us.

So they meet again…and Jack is knocked off his butt when he sees her again. Samantha’s reaction isn’t quite as enthusiastic.

He had come into my life eight years ago, uprooted every emotion I’d ever had, violently shaken them, and then stomped on them like they were bugs scurrying around his feet.

Having seen her again and realizing that he wants her, Jack stops at nothing to make Samantha give them a second chance. But life hasn’t stood still for either of them. Samantha keeps telling herself to guard her heart, but her hormones don’t seem to have gotten the memo.

“You’re the one who got away.”

“You let me.”

“I want you back.”

I can’t say too much more or it will spoil the story line. Why isn’t my rating higher? It’s hard to be passionate about a book when you don’t like the main character. After eight years of not seeing Samantha his first reaction is that he missed a certain part of her anatomy. Not being with her, not her laugh or her smile. But a certain part of her, and he thinks it in such a crude way. There are certain things that come to light and Jack’s reaction…so centered around things affecting him and his life. He seems to have forgotten how he dropped this girl like a hot potato because it would have affected his career, all the while telling himself it was the best thing for both of them. He keeps saying how much he’s changed but he lives a superficial life, is overly impressed by the size of his bank account and his hot and cold attitude made my head spin.

Samantha is much more likeable, although she fell back in Jack’s arms way too soon for me. She may be older, but I’m not sure she’s much wiser. She takes on guilt and blame to the extreme and apologizes way too much for my liking.

The other characters’ stories were told in a previous book and they appeal to me. I see that another one of Jack’s friends is also going to get his story next. I’d like to read it, it’s not Marni Mann’s writing that I had a problem with-just the character.

Good Lord!! Marni Mann did it again. I absolutely loved Signed and James and Brett but OMG I might love Jack and Samantha more. Endorsed was nothing short of brilliant and AH-MAZING. I was hooked at first page and could not get past their fiery passion and connection. I loved the forbidden aspect of their relationship and the just the premise of the story. Mann's novels have the most fantastic combination of raw and visceral emotions, realness, sex appeal and banter. I loved this story and feel it is one of her best novels to date.

Without giving away any spoilers, the minute I read about Jack Hunt in Signed, I knew I needed his story. I needed to know more about the sexy and uber confident Sports Agent and the woman who would eventually bring him to his knees. Enter Samantha Cole. After a combustible night eight years earlier, they have a chance to reconnect and make things right. But when a secret from their past has lasting consequences on their future, can they both embrace their second chance?

Gahhh! This novel was FANTASTIC!! The second chance romance in particular was to die for as it had all the things we love: hot alpha male, sassy, guarded heroine and a secret that threatened to tear them apart. Furthermore the emotional intensity was INSANE. I laughed, I cried and could not stop reading. And the steam factor? Hold the eff on because this book has ALLLL the explosive passion that will blow your mind because goddamn does this author bring the fire. Her sexytimes will scorch you and have you dying for more.

Overall, Endorsed was provocative, powerful and compelling with gut punches galore!!! In short, this story was pure KINDLE CRACK and I am an addict that can't get enough. Marni Mann continues to be one of the best authors I have read. Her proven skills and versatility demonstrate her immeasurable talent and the reason why she is a leader amongst her peers. Her novels are so highly anticipated and I for one can't get my hands on them fast enough. Once again this author did the damn thing and I'm left in awe and wanting more! Bravo! 5 stars! ~Ratula

3,5 stars!

“You’re the one who got away.”
“You let me.”
“I want you back.”
“That isn’t up to you.”

I was debating how to rate this book, because as much as Endorsed was an enjoyable read with the sizzling chemistry and all, there were times when I wanted to strangle some gentlemanly manners into Jack. I hated the way he treated Samantha before and after they got together.

Between Signed and Endorsed I would choose Signed any time because it was so full of life, love and friendship that I wanted to meet the characters in real life and have a cup of coffee with them.

*sigh* I said I'd be breaking up with this author if the pattern of superficial, cliché and way more sexual content than necessary continued, sooooooooo, this is me, breaking up lol

To be fair, Endorsed was not as sexually driven as the past books I have read by Marni Mann but the story lacked depth and emotion like nobody's business and the conflict was SO cliché that I started to weep because SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!!

I will say one thing about my experience with this author today (I emphasize today because I know the stories I read 5 or 6 years ago by her where not this caliber), the bones of her stories are fantastic but the choices she makes for her characters and the development of her stories is lacking something fierce!

Not my circus not my monkey *shrug* but she might need new beta-readers (no offense to any current beta readers who might be reading this *runs*)

NOTE: As for the narration (because that's how I experienced this story), both narrators did well. Other than thinking I was having an #oldpeople dilemma when I couldn't *place* Sam Crowley's voice but knew I knew it, I had zero issues with the narration of this story :)

"Once I find something I love, it's over."

Jack Hunt, 23, head of the sports division at The Agency, the largest entertainment agency in Florida, just got his first big break, getting his first client’s Shawn Cole drafted in the NFL. I partied hard to celebrate. I met the girl of my fucking dreams. Best sex I’ve ever had in my life. I can’t have her. She’s Shawn Cole’s little sister.
Samantha Cole, 19, had the most amazing three days and the most memorable trip to NYC with her brother’s agent.

But after New York when Samantha urges Jack to contact her Jack realises that things can never go further Samantha, I know you promised never to discuss what happened that night in my hotel room, and I really appreciate that you haven't. You're a beautiful girl, and it's a fey day I'll never forget. But now that I've thought about our time together, I've realize it was a mistake. One that can never happen again. Your brother is my top client. I can't jeopardize that. Therefore, my relationship with his family has to stay professional. I'm sorry. Best of luck with your classes this semester.-Jack

When the two of them accidentally run into each other after eight years, Jack starts his campaign to win her back.
"You're the one that got away."
"You let me."
"I want you back."

I'm not getting too much into their story, it's a nice sexy and hot read and one that I highly recommend.

Part of The Agency Series but each can be read as a standalone:

When I had read Signed, i met The Agency & Four Sexy sharp partners- Jack Hunt, Brett & Jamie Ryne, Max and Scarlett. Tbh I had liked Signed, but wasn't my most fave marni book, but now we have Endorsed to change my mind.
Things have a funny way of working out sometimes

I can assure you, it's got Marni fabulousness. Sexy hotness and yet a lot of Heart. A perfect combo that makes a book memorable. There's Jack Hunt and he is on the threshold of his successful career. Having bagged a prestigious contract for Shawn Cole, a now Titans tight end. Celebrations are in order and Jack knows how to paartaay!! Only glitch, his dick has it's own mind and it's hungry & desperate for Samantha, Shawn's baby sister.

All of 19, sweet & sexy and a body to kill for. Jack and Sam, have The most memorable 3 days in the sack, away from prying eyes of her family and his agency, cause it's professional Suicide. They part on an unexpected note and Jack vows to keep his dick in his pants and feels buried deep in his heart.
Heartbroken they split, only to meet again 8 years later. Only now they've both grown older and wiser with lots of regrets between them

Samantha has a secret festering in her heart and Jack has repentance in his, life isn't gonna be easy and that's the crux of the story.
I loved this one more, angst and love, lust and passion, tears and turmoil. All bundled up neatly and seductively by Marni and served on a platter for is to devour. And I swallowed it fast , couldn't keep the pages from turning, reading it in one swipe.
Now to wait for Scarlett or maybe Max book next ,Till then....

Jack Hunt is the absolute best kind of hero - self-assured, determined, kind and good-natured but also deliciously wicked, drop-dead sexy and a little naughty. He and Samantha have explosive chemistry and share an unforgettable night together, but Jack is too focused on his career to risk it by getting involved with his biggest client's little sister. But when he sees Samantha eight years later, he can no longer resist the bright, intense and beautiful woman. She's still hurt and angry over the way things ended between them, and he has to prove to her that he's now ready to put her first. Their push and pull is mesmerizing as they rehash the past while trying not to get lost in each other's arms. Endorsed is the perfect blend of scorching hot passion and emotional-charged romance, and it's another wonderful installment in this sexy, compelling and addictive series.

Another instalment of a series where it’s like falling back in with old friends that I didn’t realise I’d missed.

Jack and Samantha met when Jack signed her brother as his first big client. They were attracted to each other but after a short fling went their separate ways. Eight years later when they meet up again Samantha is thrown, the connection and chemistry is still present. No one knew about them and she is hiding something from everyone.

These two are perfect for each other despite everything that is against them. The passion is palpable which makes for some seriously hot scenes. There is plenty of drama but the secrets are pivotal for some of the more tender moments too.

Loved catching up with the rest of the guys in this fab series.

Oh Marni...seriously, readers, if you haven't read Marni Mann, please START NOW! She's one of my favorite authors AND LOOK AT THIS COVER!!! I was So excited for this book to release, and I couldn't stop myself from reading it in one day!
Endorsed is a stand-alone book but takes place in the Signed world. If you haven't read Signed, I suggest you start there as they share characters.
Endorsed is told in dual POV by Jack and Samantha. Jack Hunt is a sports agent and first met Samantha eight years ago when he represented her older brother. This is a bit of a second-chance romance with a bit of an age gap - both things I LOVE.

Going back to the dual POV, this is something where Marni really excels. Her male POV in this book (and her others) is simply put, perfect. The male voice is very real and not clearly written by a female author thinking "this is what a dude sounds like."

Her writing, including the hot scenes and dialog, is all very real. You can imagine talking to your friend the way Samantha talks to her friend Anna. She uses text messages in the story in a real way that moves the story along. There's a part in the story where Samantha is in the bathroom -
I took a final peek at myself in the mirror, brushing away the fallen specks of eye shadow and fixing my eyeliner...
It seems like a throwaway description, but when you read it, you know exactly what that looks like and it 100% puts you in the story. I feel that Marni does these types of descriptions so so well.

Reading a book from Marni Mann is a huge treat. Every book is fabulous, and I can't wait to read more from her.

I was really excited for this one. A little forbidden romance with a secret baby - sign me the heck up. However this one missed the mark for me. I enjoyed their story for the most part and Mann didn't disappoint in the bedroom but some aspects didn't sit well for me. While the blurb doesn't come out and say that there is a secret baby troupe, I saw it coming from a mile away. So it didn't sit well with me that it was held from the readers for so long and especially from Jack. Jack didn't know Lucy had a daughter until 47% and then didn't know she was his daughter until 65%. The readers don't meet Lucy until just before Jack did and he doesn't meet her until 79%. For how much the FMC went on about how Lucy was the most important thing in her life she didn't really play a roll in the book. Also, because Jack and Lucy didn't meet until so late in the book there was no development of their relationship and I live for that. That is what I live for in secret baby and single parent books. That bond forming and it was missed here.
