New York Times and USA Today Best Seller L. Wilder brings readers a new addition to the Satan's Fury Memphis series. For me, it was always the same. Get in. Get out. No feelings. No expectations. No regrets. I liked to keep things simple ... until her. After just one night, Reece Winters had me wanting more, but I let my pride come between us and she walked away. I convinced myself it was for the best. My focus needed to be on the club. Josue Navarro, a Mexican cartel boss, was looking for vengeance, and he had his sights set on Satan's Fury. It was only a matter of time before he came knocking at our door, but we weren't running scared. We were ready for war, and like my brothers, I was prepared to put my life on the line for the club. But I wasn't prepared for fate to bring Reece back into my life, and I certainly wasn't prepared for the secrets that she brought with her- secrets that would connect us in ways I couldn't begin to imagine. Secrets that could destroy us all. Riggs is book three of the Satan's Fury MC- Memphis Chapter. This full-length standalone novel is intended for mature audiences only due to the explicit language and violence. Contains no cheating and a heart-gripping HEA.

Riggs was the third book in the Satan’s Fury MC Memphis series by L Wilder. It was a spin-off from the original Satan’s Fury MC series.

Jackson “Riggs” Reed was the tech guru for the MC. He was smart, talented and could hack into anything. He was also known for being a player. He never went longer than a night or two with a woman. It inferred he didn’t want to but we learned quickly it was because he always compared each one to the one he let get away and they never measured up.

Reece Winters was a beautiful investigative reporter in Memphis. She was working on a case involving one of the top Cartel leaders and she never imagined in her wildest dreams that it would cross paths with the one person she thought she never would see again. The reunion brought mixed emotions.

Wilder began by taking us back to Riggs and Reece’s initial meeting and one night stand that turned into a weekend. She then brought us to the present and filled us in on their current lives while quickly providing a common link. The rest of the storyline evolved around the plot that continued from the previous book involving a vicious drug cartel. It was a quick and intriguing read. There were a couple incidents that I wished would have turned out different - but it was just a matter of preference. No spoilers so I can’t elaborate, but it was emotional and not the direction I wished. With that said, the book itself was well written, well developed, suspenseful and a great contribution to the series. Next up is Murphy and I can’t wait.

I am never disappointed when I pick up a book by L. Wilder. Riggs is the newest example of why that continues to be true.

This second chance MC romance had great characters. Some I was revisiting from past books, and some that have me excited to learn more about them when they hopefully get their own book. The two main characters have history that has a big impact on their present and chemistry that is instant and scorching.

The last 20% of this book had me on the edge. The build up was intense. The final show down was thrilling and sad and yet satisfying. The ending was exactly what I needed.

All in all this was a great addition to the series. As long as L. Wilder keeps writing like this I will definitely keep reading.

I love this series. I always knew Riggs' book would be a good one. There was a couple things that bothered me with this book. The biggest one was that I wished there had been more of a connection with Riggs and Tate. I just didn't feel anything there. But as usual this author gave us another outstanding read! Oh, and this cover....mega yummy!!!

L.Wilder always gives us the most amazing MC stories. I haven't read a single book of hers that didn't Capture my attention.

Riggs is our adorable computer Nerd and his Girl Reece is a Journalist. These two have history. They have been into each other since the day they met. Misunderstanding and miscommunication played a big part in them not being together for two years.
Doesn't mean they could forget each other. Their chemistry and pull is of the charts.

There is some awesome twists and nail biting Suspence. The story on them finding each other again and fighting battles was really awesome. There are plenty gritty scenes expected in an MC book esp these guys cos they have horrid ppl after them.
Watching them protect Reece because she was Riggs made me so happy.

Grab this book now ladies!!!!

Quick Info
Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone
Part of a Series?: Yes
----------------------------------
Meeting the Characters
Reece Winters
Riggs
----------------------------------
What happens?
Riggs meets Reece 2 years before this book is really set. They spend the night together and produce a child unknown to Riggs and Reece is too scared to go after him and tell him.
She finally tells him when her job leads her closer to Riggs, unfortunately witnessing a murder by the same cartel boss she is writing a story on.
Final thoughts
Loved Riggs, thought he wasn't a dick to her when he found out about his child. Reece seemed a little naive at parts, but I thought she was fab being a strong character sticking up for the guy that got murdered and not letting the mob boss scare her off.

Riggs found the woman for him but he let her go, the timing was not where it needed to be and he has regretted it since. Seeing Reece Winters again though he sees his opportunity to get a second chance.

Reece has a secret, well a couple but she doesn't know one is tied directly to Satan's Fury MC. When she sees Riggs again she know she needs to talk to him but the chemistry between is igniting. Secrets revealed will both feel the same way about one another or walk away?

I liked this one but it was not my favorite in series. Reece I wanted to shake a couple of times but i really enjoyed Riggs. The chemistry is terrific between these two. Can't wait for the next book.

Oh my, where the hell do I get a Riggs:) Ahhhhhh, I absolutely adored the shit out of Reece and Riggs and Tate, hell, was the icing on the cake!

As much as I floved this story, I had wished we had more time with Riggs and Reece and tate as a "family" unit. There was a lot of action that for me took away "their" time together but the time we had was awesome!

This story was a great afternoon read, light on angst and the drama came in the way of club business and not gonna lie, I was a little worried at the end, before the epilogue portion....Yep, I was very worried for a minute but then thank goodness my "fear" was soon gone and replaced with the BEST ending:) Can't wait for more and hope to get stories in the future on the kids!

Riggs and Reece are so nummy. This is a twisty-turney story of emotions. I love how it ties into Shadow and Blaze’s story. OMG there are plenty of unexpected happenings along the way as Riggs and Reece get there second chance at love. Plan for some sexy and sweet surprises. Sigh. I feel we will be hearing more from Satan’s Fury MC -Memphis Chapter (wink wink). Happy Reading!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

I am so getting into these MC romances and this one was great! We met most of the club in the first two books though if you have not read those then there is still enough background for it to make sense. They meet and we get insta attraction and a hot weekend before we flash forward two years later. Life throws them together again though neither forgot the other during the gap and ooo we do the fireworks fly. Secrets get in their way though along with a big touch of danger keeping things up in the air. Great romance with all the elements of the MC to go with it. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

I was never one of those guys who bought into all that love at first sight bullsh*t.
I was all about getting in. Getting out.
No feelings. No expectations.
No complications … until her.

After just one night, Reece Winters had me thinking of white picket fences and station wagons, but I let my pride get come between us and she walked away.

Trouble was on the horizon.
It was only a matter of time before it came knocking at our door. The club was planning for it. Ready for it. Prepared for it, and so was I.

I wasn’t prepared for fate to bring her back into my life, and I certainly wasn’t prepared for the secrets that she brought with her- secrets that would connect us in ways I couldn’t begin to imagine.

Secrets that could destroy us all.

I have to say that I am really enjoying this series and its characters.

Riggs and Reese have a bit of a history and for Riggs she was the one that got away his one true regret in life.Riggs comes to th point in life where he wants change and a blast from his past is just the thing to do it.

Reese-We found her to be smart, driven, sexy, determined, independent, protective of those she loves,love-able but, we also found her to lack common sense and was a magnet for trouble.

Riggs-We found him to be sexy as sin,love-able, a computer wiz, kind, caring, protective and just a fun character all around.

The chemistry and attraction they had for another was intense from the very first moment they met and even later years they remained apart it's still there.

The current life choices of Reese have put her and her son in danger but, what she doesn't realize is that her current piece on the Cartel she is writing is going to be a big problem for Riggs and his Club.Nothing like a nosy reporter....to stir up the drama !

The story had a great plot and tons of drama,a great cast of characters that made you laugh. We also discovered a few surprises along the way.We loved the story from beginning to end.I loved the fact that Riggs and Reese got a second chance at love and happiness and of becoming a family.Quickly on both realized that they were made for one another but, pride got in the way of their own happiness but, fate  intervened to right the wrongs of ones past."We love when this happens."

We are so looking forward to the next read in this ongoing series and we are so loving its characters and we love getting to know more of them each and every story.

Recommend read to all!

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.

Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

Riggs is book three in this series and you will absolutely fall in love with him. I missed out on the previous book and I am going to go back and read them. I may even read Riggs again. I stayed up all night reading him. I had started it but the family doesn't the know the meaning of mom is reading so SHHH. So once the house was settled for the night I dove in. Boy oh boy I was not ready for this. It went places I had no idea it would go. Just when I thought I had everything thought out and covered oh how wrong I was.

Riggs and Reese have a history. They meet and have an incredible weekend together and can't stop thinking about each other. When he wakes up the next morning she is gone. Then too much time as has gone by (two years or so) and they both let it go. Riggs let her leave and it is his one that got away and his only real regret. Reese had her whole life planned. She was going to become an attorney, then life threw her a small curveball and she had to make adjustments.

Reese was a good woman, smart, driven and wants to be as independent as possible. She doesn't want handouts and is now a reporter looking for her big break. SHe thinks she may have it and it hits very close to home. With the help of Myles a freelance writer for her paper, she may have found it.

Riggs can't stop thinking about Reese. He misses her even though it was one weekend. Time got by and then he thinks it is too late. When she makes a surprise appearance and he sees her for the first time those feelings are still there. They have an unmistakable passion for each other. I loved Riggs and his heart. He was not going to make the same mistake again. He learned that lesson the hard way. Time and circumstances got in the way.

Loved the writing and the people. The drama and some things blew me away that I had not thought of or anticipated. I loved this twisting rollercoaster ride. You don't know the final outcome until the end and I mean that literally. Edge of your seat to see what happened. I look forward to the next book. I can't wait to read it.

(4 stars)

This is a series and as such should be read in order as there are situations and of course returning characters that are from the previous books. I say this with most series, and it's always true, this will flow so much better. So seeing as it has been a few months since I read book two, Shadow and Alex's story, I had forgotten a lot of the details and for some of this book I was trying to figure out what had happened and how it correlated to what was happening in this book... I must be having an odd day, it took me way too long to figure stuff out. The situation from book two that the MC was dealing with they are still dealing with that but with a different person. When Riggs is out on MC business he catches a glimpse of a face that he hasn't seen in almost two years, the face of the one woman that he could have spent forever with. Two years ago, Riggs and Winter spent a weekend together and then went their separate ways, but neither forgot the other and in fact both wanted more but neither could get to the other one. The one time that Winter showed up at the clubhouse, she saw Riggs with someone else and with her heart breaking even more, she left without saying a word. Now, the two end up running into each other and figure out very quickly that they want to be together, but there are some secrets that have to come to light first.

So, for me this was just ok, I'm not sure where I have a disconnect with this at but I didn't find this as amazing as the last two of the series. Maybe because of the chances that Winter took with her job and that just didn't fit with her situation, she irked me a bit. I'm disappointed that Riggs' book was a let down for me. Lots of action, drama, and a few naughty bits, I give this 4 stars.

I finished Riggs by L. Wilder a few days ago, I was so taken in by this story that I had mentally talked my feelings down thinking that I was pouring my emotions in a review. I realized today that I didn't but when I think of this story all my feelings of desire, heartbreak and fear are all still lingering. I LOVE SATAN'S FURY and every single sexy alpha MC member.

L. Wilder does not disappoint with Riggs and Reece's story, I was on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. My heart had already been captured by Riggs who is the Memphis Chapter's computer genius and strong enough to protect his brothers and the ones he loves. He falls for Reece a journalist who is determined to write a piece that would have her life in danger. One sexy night, misunderstanding and holding on to a secret keep these two away for two years. The chemistry is too strong to keep them away from each other and it looks as if it is just in time. Reece needs protection and Riggs's life seems to be falling in place, they first have to get through the men that are after them. My mind was going crazy and I kept saying to myself "Reece ... your life's in danger, girl." The brothers of Satan's Fury's nature to protect each other and the women that they all love pulls at my heartstrings.

Riggs is one thrill ride of a read, powerful men, strong women, and a family bond that draws a reader to root and cry for these characters. I have to say again that the suspense had me on the edge and the twist and turns had me wanting to write the author and first tell her how much I loved this story but also that she had my heart cracking into pieces.

5 Stars Must Read!

Very well written

This book was very well written. I appreciate that this author truly does a good job making each book in this series vastly different.

I loved Riggs in the previous book- I loved him here. Both him and Reese make some really stupid assumptions about each other which keeps them apart in the beginning. (The rest of this review will contain major spoilers so beware)

The fact that Reese never told him she was pregnant and had his baby is almost unforgivable, especially since it was mostly her pride that stopped her. I was able to overlook that because I really liked them together. They have to go into hiding because Reese witnesses a drug lord kill someone. They hide out for months until the trial because she is going to testify. Riggs is the clubs computer/tech/security guy and does and incredible job making sure they can’t be traced. BUT Reese does something so incredibly stupid that leads the cartel right to them. Because of her stupidity one of the brothers protecting them is killed. Riggs is shot twice— and here is what really bothered me about this book— we are led to believe that Riggs died trying to save Reese and their son. The entire last chapter and the beginning of the epilogue is written so you think he’s dead. I absolutely hated that. It just felt like a kick in the teeth to the reader that after everything they went through in this book- we’re tricked into thinking he’s dead. A couple pages into the epilogue which takes place 20 years later, we find out he didn’t actually die and they actually lived happily ever after. But by then I was pretty pissed off.

Absolutely Fantastic MC Read. I have loved all the Satan Fury, Memphis chapter books to date but the author blew me away with Riggs story. The storyline if full of suspense, aghast, heartbreak, tears and romance. Oh and lets not forget brotherhood and MC action.

Riggs is the clubs tech guy. He’s a whiz with computers and learned hacking skills at a young age. Something the club has put to use lately trying to avert a war the the Mexican Cartel. Shortly after Riggs joined the Satan’s Fury, he meet Reece, a gorgeous woman who stole his breath away. They spent a wild weekend together before she walked out of his life heading to college. Riggs pride kept him from chasing after her but he’s never forgot her. As for Reece, life altering events causes her to dropout of college and move make to Memphis. She’s now a journalist for the paper and is writing an article of the Cartel. This causes her to cross paths with Riggs two years later. It also brings trouble to her doorstep.

Can Riggs forgive Reece for walking away? What will he make of the choices she’s made. When trouble come can Riggs and his brothers keep her safe? I can explain how touching, heartfelt yet gutsy with action this book is. From the thrills, the pain and the heartache to the loving calmness and comradery; I simply can’t recommend this book/series enough. To the author I say Kudos for a job well done in writing this fantastic 5 star storyline. 2 Huge Thumbs Up!

Wasted potential. There just wasn’t any relationship-building in this book. I know this series is big on insta-love, but it was just told to readers, not shown. Riggs and Reece were supposed to have this great love that formed from a weekend together two years ago, except no details about that weekend were given, other than how they met.

And what happened to Gus wanted Riggs to look into the journalists who questioned Jason? In the other books, the club members don’t make a move without getting it approved by the Prez, but Riggs didn’t mention his connection and then seemed to forget about Gus’s instructions once Reece showed up at the clubhouse.

Then there’s Reed’s parenting. When we first meet her, it describes her working very late a couple of nights in a row, then she reconnects with Riggs and spends the next two evenings with him. When does she see her son? And her excuse for not telling about the baby was ridiculous- she thought he had a new girlfriend. Ummm, Tate was one by then. Not that it was a worthwhile excuse, but what about the previous year of her life and the majority of her pregnancy, most of which was spent in the same city as Riggs.

For that matter, if she was important to Riggs, why did he never try to find her? For him to be willing to let her go and go on with his life, there should have been more time of the book devoted to them falling for each other.

This one left me very disappointed. We’ll see how the next goes...

This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Loved Reece and Riggs.
Riggs is a guy who doesn’t believe in all that love nonsense, steamy fun nights, and no ties, or repeats are for him. But his hot weekend with Reece Winters two years ago is something he has never been able to forget, and walking away is something he’s always regretted. He should reconnect with her, but always has some else that needs doing first.
Reece has had the same feeling, Riggs is constantly invading her mind and she needs to speak to him, but can’t find courage.
Two people are confused about their feelings, they both want to find something, but keep putting other issues ahead of their happiness.
And the brothers are called to alert when troubles comes a brewing for the club which brings exciting action.
It’s an exciting read and also sweet and romantic as Reece and Riggs attempt a second time around. Riggs was very well put together type of guy, he was tough, did his job, but still had a softer side, and Reece, I liked her, she had done well since her first meeting with Riggs, managed to get herself a good career. This story had it all, suspense, action and romance with steamy love scenes. The characters were intriguing, the story excellent, it was brilliantly written.....and had me shedding a tear or two you demon Ms. Wilder.
A great read, looking forward to Murphy’s book coming soon.
I highly recommend this book!

Riggs met Reese one night at a bar, they had a connection, spent the weekend together, then parted ways. He didn't use her number right away, and finally when he did, it didn't quite pan out the way he wanted, so he put it out of his head, and concentrated on things that were going on with his MC. A couple years later, they came face to face again, and he started realizing that she was the one who got away. However, Reese didn't quite feel the same, as there were some secrets that he didn't know about, and she had some resentments about those going on that may make a reunion a bit difficult. Not to mention, she was chasing a story that was putting her smack dab in the middle of some serious danger. Yeah this story had a it all. There was chemistry galore, and yes, it did lead to some sexy times that lit the sheets on fire, once the lines of communication were cleared up. There was opportunities for a second chance at love possibly, if that whole danger thing was taken care of. Which brings me to the twists, and they were many, so my f-bomb dropping was plentiful, all the way to the huge finale which almost killed me! L. Wilder definitely knows how to stop a heart in it's tracks with a huge statement, and that's all that I'm saying about that. So yeah, I'm going to go ahead and just finish this review with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

Another great hit to the Satan's Fury MC!

Riddled with questions, keeping you on your seat from beginning to end...literally...L. Wilder did a great job with Riggs.

I found him to be unique. Not your typical biker. You don't read about him making his way through every woman in town. He is smart and focused and readers will love this breath of fresh air in the MC. Most attractive about him is his devotion to Reece, which for me is odd. I love the emotional challenge of jerks and you just don't find that with Riggs. And I don't feel like I missed out on anything there.

Reece was hard headed and honestly I could tell if she was more determined or crazy. The situations she finds herself in, were dangerous and she had no qualms about putting herself there. Many times I found myself thinking, don't do that!

There were a couple of great twists with this one and the suspense part was on point. L. Wilder did a great job with that...kept me frantic for the answer!

I am counting this as another hit for her. Loved it and am really looking forward to Murphy's story...so I can get some answers!

Riggs gets 5 stars from me!
