Dramione is my absolute fav, but in this fic i absolutely live for Narcissa and Lucius the couple of my dreams!!

“On her next pass across the room she caught Lucius’ eye quite on accident. But, as usual, she found it impossible to look away. He was the most handsome man she had ever met, and even after all these years he could make her heart race with just one look. She had been pleased beyond measure that Draco had taken after him almost completely.”

“I love you, my wife, and the son you did give us, you are my world,” he finally broke the silence, taking her back into his arms.”

“I love you,” she whispered, leaning forward to rest her forehead against his, “I’ll be beside you, until the very end, whatever that might be.”

He picked up her hands and brought them to his mouth.

“Being your husband has been the greatest privilege of my life, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that end doesn’t come for at least another century.”

“That's not long enough,” she murmured.”

“Hermione Jean Granger," he said her name, her full name, very deliberately, "I love you more than anything in the world. I promise to always be yours and only yours, if you'll have me. Will you marry me?"

"Yes- I, of course!”

🤍 no

this one i dont vibe with. the writing/descriptions were wayyy too formal & dialogues stiff for me

also dramione so insta here? the warming up to each other i mean. those two words (dramione and insta) in a sentence is uncanny. no.

and draco is a meanie, thats literally his personality trait, what makes him, him. here he was not. i dont like that

lucissa just meh, couldnt rouse any feelings from me, but im biased and couldnt see clear past the way the people in this book talk (every single person, not just them) so i cant rlly say whether the couples were investing/worth it or not

i think the matchmaker mother thing is a great trope, i can see that working out for dramione (in au) and overall the book itself’s not bad, but- read the things ive listed above

Probably the best soulmates trope Dramione I had ever read. Not soulmates-with-birthmark kind of, but Hermione and Draco are ultimately compatible pair. First half of the fic quite sweet and fluffy, but as they approach 5th year it touches more dark themes (because Voldemort is back, you know). It also doesn't just rehash canon, many things change because Hermione is with Draco from their first year.

At the moment I'm writing this review this fic is WIP which was on hiatus for over a year, but started updating again (at Ch.54 now). Maybe I should better wait for it to be finished, but I just couldn't put it down once I opened first chapter.

Now, first if all I want to say that I didn't finish this fic. However, I still very much liked it, but it was just little bit too long. I read like forty chapters, so this review is based on them!

I liked the writing in different point of views! It was nice for Sirius to have his own POV.

Narcissa and Lucius were absolutely wonderful and I loved how supportive they were!

Draco and Hermione's relationship was so cute, and I loved how openly they could discuss everything.

Overall, it was a good fic, but just too long for my taste. ⭐⭐⭐

I actually really thoroughly enjoyed this fanfic. It was interesting how differently events played out while still being a re-telling of the books.
The only reason I rated it 4 🌟 instead of 5 🌟 is because the ending threw me off. I thought it would be resolved, but it wasn't. Is there a second part of this story that I didn't know about??

Edited to add: I discovered that the author slowly updates and that it's not a complete story yet. So I will now patiently wait for the end 🙂

This is definitely in my top 10 favorite fics! Author is currently in hiatus, and it is a WIP, but the story is well developed prior to where it currently drops off so it didn’t feel over abrupt!

Loved the story and the character development but the second half of the book was too rushed. Laughed at all the times the author kept it real and exposed Dumbledore. A very satisfying and comforting read. If any of you know of similar books like this one and The dragon’s treasure I would really appreciate it.

It was a light hearted story. Each step of the way that was a difficult task in the normal Harry Potter was easily done in the book. Wayyyy too easy. The story is still a WIP and was never finished. You kind of get the jist of how the ending will go but yeah
