She was raised to be a weapon. But no one has any idea how dangerous she really is.

From the time Sonas could harness her element, she was driven to be stronger, faster, and more powerful than everyone else—at all costs.
That doesn't change when she starts at Fysi Academy, a boarding school for elementals just like her.
Except no one there is like her.
She's hunted by an unnamed monster with no face, and there's no one strong enough to protect her.
She has no choice but to save herself.
Sonas has to rely on her own strength and skill to evade the thing waiting for her in the shadows, and when she falls…
The truth will come out.

Every time I think this author has outdone herself, she drops another amazing book bomb and I'm left wondering, how, she comes up with, just amazingness.

Continuing from the first book, I got hooked, pulled in, and I couldn't stop reading. As this is a continuation series I'm not going to give anything away, cause spoilers. Just know that you need to take a chance on this author, this series, and all her books. Well written, well crafted and just, I can't even tel you how good this book is. It isn't like anything you've read before, and it will change your mind about YA.

To end, I'll leave you with my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

An Element's journey to learn she isn't just a weapon

Like A fine wine Wendy Knight's only gets better with ages. Just when I think I have found my favourite series by her, she comes out with Star Crossed Academy. This is book is a background story on Sonas, a very powerful Wind Element. Treated cruelly by her mother she finally finds a sense of escape at school and continues to follow her until she joins her new school and learns secrets about herself and some of Chaos as well.
Have already pre ordered the next book, hurry up end of April

Super elementals

So as is a very powerful wind elemental. Leaps and bounds above others. She has always been an outsider, but she didn’t know why.

She comes to find out why, at least in part before she is transferred to another school.

From the opening sentence to the end, this book was short, intense, and held my rapt attention. I anticipate the last story in this series.

So good!

I couldn’t put Sonas’ story down! Some questions were answered, but not enough! The words just flowed and the plot is getting only more interesting.

When you read Sea of Flames, the first book in the Star Crossed Academy series, you enter this really cool world full of unique people. These people have power over the elements, earth, wind, fire and water. Adara and Beck are the two main characters and they instantly pull at your heart strings and draw you in. But then comes a mysterious new girl with these amazing powers, her name is Sonas. Breath of Wind is Sonas' story. We already knew that she was very powerful and a complete mystery with a past that no one knows. Breath of Wind takes you back to the beginning and you see the trial, pain and heartbreak that she endures. Sonas is not "just a weapon" she is so much more!

I love this series so much!
