Apart from the amazing plot, characters and development which left me astonished, the author’s writing held me captive entirely, so that I just couldn’t stop reading!!
The angst was of great volume, the suspense and the twists were fantastic! And the romance escalated to another level, where Gideon and Chloe just became one of my favourite couples.
Their chemistry and their passion were astounding❣️❣️❣️
My only issue was that Caleb should had been given less chapters.
Did I mention it was dual pov, as the previous one? Oh yes!!! There was also Gideon’s pov that had me totally thrilled!!!

"A Billion Broken Pieces" starts off with the continuation of the previous cliffhanger for the first installment and ding ding! We have ourselves a winner! As any reader would know sometimes with any series, the second installment could be either a hit or miss and luckily this was a definite a hit! The romance and suspense had me sitting on the edge of my seat and to make it even better, the author introduced a bigger, badder villain than the last, Caleb, who is doing everything possible to get his hands on the lead heroine and to seek his very own personal revenge. With how this storyline was progressing, it was hard to put one this down and once again, the author impressed me with the plot and the characters oozing chemistry that is felt though the pages.

Chloe sigue siendo un personaje duro, aunque en un momento indicado e inesperado para ella todo cambia. En ese momento, me sentí en su piel al conocer a alguien que no tenía ni idea. Pero fue un momento muy impactante y estuvo genial. Gideon me encanto en este libro más que en el anterior. Su lado posesivo con Chloe sale a la luz y me encanto. La atracción que hay en ellos, ahora se nota más y no pueden evitarlo. El nuevo personaje añadido me da mucho que pensar y aun no tengo todo claro. En cuanto al final me ha dejado en todo lo alto y estoy deseando leer el tercero.

Now with the FBI close to her and a dangerous man wanting to help her, Chloe will have to follow her instincts and be very cautious with whom she joins to pursue her strategy. However, Gideon will continue to stand by her side with her plan, although the tension they both have is undeniable.
Chloe is still a tough character, although at the right time and unexpected for her everything changes. At that moment, I felt on her skin when she met someone who had no idea. But it was a very shocking moment and great. I loved Gideon in this book more than in the previous one. His possessive side with Chloe comes to light, and I enjoyed it. The attraction between them is now more noticeable, and they can't avoid it. The newly added character makes me think a lot, and I still don't have everything clear. In the end, it has made me feel really unexpected, and I can't wait to read the third one.

I swear, Thandies books get better with every book and even more exciting than the last one. The second book in the series was extremely gripping, exciting and emotional, I've read it in one go! 🥰🙆🏻♀️
From the first page packed with so much action and trouble (amazing 😬 I love trouble 😂) that you can't stop reading, you just have to know what’s next. Chloe is in constant trouble and danger. She is not only a person of interest for the FBI but also the most dangerous man in the country. Gideon tries, without success, to shield her from all the bad things happening all around, but Chloe is a stubborn woman and doesn't like to be ordered around. This story is amazing and hot! 🔥 Yes, from slow to burn 😍 in this one 😂. I really enjoyed and loved this book.
It has everything, that a crime romance needs and has a bit of a dark side, that fits perfectly with the story. It ended with a cliffhanger and therefore I'm waiting for the 3 book in the series 🤗🙋🏻♀ It's coming on 22 June 😁 stay tuned my friends 😏🤓

Are you ready for more of Chloe and Gideon?
(You do need to read book #1 -The Billion Dollar Plan-to read this book.)
Thandiwe Mpofu listened to the readers and boy did she deliver!!! This story is full of suspense, lust, romance, angst, hilarious conversations, and plot twists galore.
You get to know Gideon better, and if you thought he was a green eyed brooding alpha before, get ready to loose your panties now. You learn about his past, and how it impacts his life now. Once Gideon has claimed something, he will do everything in is power to protect it.
With Chloe we get to see her weaknesses and her perpetual strengths. We see Chloe take this new world in stride and somehow she becomes even stronger in it. We ultimately see how Chloe will do anything to protect those she loves.
Chloe and Gideon’s relationship continues to grow and they become just the thing that the other needs. Even with Chloe’s sharp tongue and Gideon’s Alpha domineering ways. Their passion is hot and I felt the heat through my Kindle. Oh goodness- I’m fanning myself just thinking about it.
We also get to see more with other characters, Max, John, Fred, Sam, and many more. They help the dynamics of the story and bring so much to the table. I have a feeling some of them are going to be important in book 3, but that is just a theory.
Just when you think you know what is going to happen, Thandie throws in a curve ball. I was always kept guessing and always on my toes. I wanted to skip ahead SO BAD!!!!! I made myself stay on track and just kept on reading. I am so glad that I didn’t skip because it make the story that much more exciting.
Warning**** This book does end on another epic cliffhanger. Don’t worry, I already yelled at her for it. 😁
Now I have to try to find something to do while I wait for book 3....😒

Chemistry
The hero and heroine had great chemistry. I like that the author dragged out the first love scene. It helped to build the intensity these two had. However, the author could have done better with describing the heroine. It wasn't immediately clear she was biracial, not that it mattered.

This book is just as good as book 1. And u really need to read book 1 before continuing with this book...
Talk about plot twists.
This book takes you down a more in-depth path of Gideon and Chloe. You get to know them both both and see how their pasts shape them in to who they are now.
As the book progresses it has you on the edge of your seat wondering what's goin to happen next...
I have so many thoughts wondering through my head.
This book ends on another intense cliff-hanger, which will leave you wanting book 3 straight away... but we have to wait...

Woah what just happened?
I’m so happy I gave this series a go. After reading book 1, I knew I had to read the second book to get the answers I needed.
Chloe and Gideon’s chemistry sizzled in this book, giving me what I’d been waiting for from the start.
There was lots of intrigue, mystery and suspense that had me flipping pages quickly trying to find out the answers. Lots of twists and turns that I didn’t see coming too.
And that ending.... Wow!
I can’t wait for book 3
I’m so happy I gave this series a go. After reading book 1, I knew I had to read the second book to get the answers I needed.

Chloe omg, I don't have the words to describe how frustrating she is. Secrets always come back to bite you in the arse and man does she have some explosive ones. Why not confide in the person you "love" when you know full well they can help you.
Gideon in this installment through blew my mind. I was not expecting him to actually be one to get his hands dirty. 😍
I am so excited about the potential these new characters have! They are definitely dangerous and not willing to loose.
If your expecting answers, don't worry you'll get them, but expect to get a billion more.
I really want part three asap. I need to know how this play out. I need bff Sam to not be the airhead doctor Chloe sees her as and I want so much more of Max. 😭😭😭

This is a continuation to the first book of the series. You can't read this without reading the first book. We were left with a big cliffhanger when the first book ends. This book picked up from then.

In the second installment of the Incongruity Series we get to dive a little deeper in to the characters. We see Gideon isn’t just a man who gives direction, he is a man who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty to save what and who he loves. We also get to see that Chloe is a no nonsense woman who will do whatever it takes to do what has to be done! The chemistry in this book was once again on fire!
This book was even better than the first! Hands down I couldn’t stop, I had to keep going. I needed to know what was going to happen with Gideon and Chloe! This book picks up right where the first left off and takes you on an even more intense journey. Not just the journey of trying to clear Gideon’s name and of Chloe seeking revenge, but of their journey as two people who are slowly falling in love! The last few chapters I was on the edge of my seat, and I may have yelled at the very end! Thankfully book 3 is out so I can dive right in!

Thandiwe did it again people!!!
All I have to say is I am glad I am reading these when all the books are out. If I had to wait, though I would cuz that is how good they are, I would be losing my ever loving mind!
This book started to fill in the gaps a little more but still left me wanting, no NEEDING more! Ugh I just love Chloe and Gideon. They are so perfect for each other. All I want is for them to just be together with nothing in their way.
The suspense in these books is just too good! Book 2 had more steamy in it and even more suspenseful parts.

my review : 4.5 OUT OF 5 STARS . . . backstabbing, betrayal, and even more billionaires! i FLEW through this book. i simply could not put it down. after it sucked me in, the amount of suspense and drama had me constantly thinking about when i could get back to reading it. then, when i finished reading it, i had to have the third one. because the cliffhanger was strong with this one. i can’t wait to pick up Billion Dollar Hearts and dive back in to Chloe’s strong POV and the Chloe + Gideon moments! in conclusion, i recommend this book to anyone who has a lot of consecutive time on their hands and wants a steamy, secret-filled series to keep them on their toes! be sure to check it out (it’s free on kindleunlimited!) and tell us what you think! big thanks again to @author_thandie for sending me a free e-copy in exchange for my honest review! 💞

Annoying
Chloe’s behavior is annoying beyond measure. She is so full of herself that she truly believes that Gideon would tell her everything when she herself keeps secrets. Given the danger lurking around I loathe her childishness. This nonsense about equality. In the name of independence she is putting herself in danger. It’s one thing to be self assured it’s another to be too cocky. She just doesn’t have the means to understand what is really going on, and even if she doesn’t trust Gideon fully she should trust his resources. It was foolish to not tell him about Lorenzo and even worse to take the phone with her. It obviously has a GPS tracker on it and god knows what else. Getting Felix to lie was another example of Childishness As for Sam, she doesn’t know Gideon so how dare she declare that he is entitled? This book didn’t really explain more about what’s going on hence my only 3 stars.

A Billion Broken Pieces by Thandiwe Mpofu is the second book in the Incongruity series and it left me in a billion pieces. The story picks up right where book one left off and I didn’t stop reading until once again I reached a cliffhanger that is worse than book one. But again thank God I had book three on my kindle!!!!
Ms. Mpofu’s writing has kicked up in this book and delivers quite punch. We start to get into the thick of things and all the webs that have been twisted and woven together. The story really gets displayed. Chloe and Gideon's characters are growing. The chemistry jumps off the pages and the twists and turns just keep coming!!!
What started as an agreed-upon plan to take down one man has now grown and exploded into territory unknown. The stakes are high, the danger even higher and suspense mounts. At the very tip of it all and unbeknownst to her is Chloe.
You need to read the first book in the series before reading this one.
Fast-paced, easy to read and suspenseful.

To be honest it Took me awhile to finish this book because the writing was not hooking me in at first but I pushed through and the second half got pretty good we had some sexy scenes, and more suspense and the cliff hanger was great. But yeah I kinda struggled with several points of view in the book. 💔😥

Book two was a bit too much back and forth for me. The three POVS was too much in my opinion. I thought the charters had great chemistry but something was still missing I couldn't fully put my finger on it. I do look forward to reading a new book by this author.
