Wyoming - 1870's The Oliver gang shot Cain Kilkenny once and will do it again if they find him. After regaining consciousness, Cain finds himself being tended by a pretty young woman (Skye Lonsdale) and a blind old man.
I enjoyed this book. It gives the reader the "Christmas" spirit. I love that.

Will Cane choose love or revenge?
Skye nurses Cain back to health, as his strength gradually increases so does her love for him. She knows he doesn't plan to stay, knows she will be left on the Ranch with a broken heart and her blind grandfather once he leaves, but that doesn't stop her falling. Is she strong enough to let him go, knowing that if he truly loves her he will return.
Cain is so focused on revenge he doesn't realise how he feels about Skye until he has already left...he has been blinkered, stupid and reckless, for the first time ever his heart is full of love not hate. So why is he running from it? He knows he cannot have Skye's love if he continues on the path of revenge...but which does he want more?

Wonderful story
Margaret is a gifted story teller. I love to read her books. This is a sweet, heartwarming and entertaining story. Cain is a strong, lonely and vengeful until he is injured and rescued. This is a adventure of love winning over revenge and selfish needs. I hope everyone reads this and all title's by Margaret. If you read one of her books you will definitely read another. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💖💖💖💖💖

Revenge isn't so sweet
A man set on revenge for his friends death and getting framed for robbery.

Skye finds Cain on her doorstep, wounded and ready to set of again to revenge the dead of his friend. Can Skye after a forced marriage keep him home? Will the love from his wife and the life they built in the cozy cabin keep hem happy or will revenge win?

A changed heart
Cain lives his life in revenge but stumbling across the homestead of Skye and her grandpa gave him a new path. Beautiful romance and well written.

Wonderful Story.

I usually try my best to get through books, even if it's a struggle but I didn't feel like wasting my time finishing this one.

Genuinely sweet
Except for a few misspelled words and punctuation errors, I thoroughly enjoyed Skye and Chain's story. I hope this author writes more as sweet as this one.
