Delilah hates me. But I'm going to marry her anyway. Delilah is different. Quiet. Reserved. Smart.
But she doesn't want anything to do with me.
So, of course, I have to have her.
She's got the sultry librarian look, full lips, all those curves, I can't get enough.
I'll convince her to be mine. Just one night. And I never fail.
But I'm her new boss. And if anyone at the office found out about our one night stand, we would both be ruined.
So we'll keep it to one night of passion.
Then we'll go our separate ways.
That was the plan anyway.
But now I can't let her go.
Because she's carrying my babies.
All three of them.
And I won't let her do this alone.

Triplets Make Five is a super steamy secret baby romance. It has a HEA and NO Cliffhanger. There are a few bonus books for your reading pleasure. Enjoy!

Three not so secret babies!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💚💜
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌏
Character development: 😊😄😘😍
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Delilah Kent - she works as an accountant for the investors at Kiefer and Associates, a commercial real estate company. She has a ton of social anxiety, so she doesn’t like being around a lot of people. She keeps to herself at work, doesn’t go out much, has a small office on the top floor with no windows, and likes to go to the break room two floors down to eat lunch because unlike the break room on her floor, that one doesn’t have windows. Also, since the owner of the company is the only one, she really talks to, there have been rumors of them having an affair. Other than that, most of the employees of the company don’t pay any attention to her, she could be invisible as far as they are concerned.

The Hero: Preston Walker - He is the new owner of the company and is quite known in the media as a wealthy playboy who is seen with different curvy women every night. When he sees Delilah, he is immediately interested in the intelligent, quiet beauty. He asks her out to dinner right away and she accepts. They end up spending the night together, but Delilah sneaks out before Preston wakes up.

The Story: Preston isn’t sure why Delilah snuck out on him, but he knows he wants more with her. He realizes that she is different than the women he usually dates, in that she wouldn’t be interested in the baubles he usually gifts his woman with, like the diamond necklaces and tennis bracelets he keeps at his place as morning after gifts for his conquests. Preston looks into her and finds out that she hasn’t taken a vacation in over four years, so he purchases an artists retreat vacation for her and forces her to take the vacation. It is during this vacation where she starts feeling nauseous and eventually finds out she is pregnant with triplets.

This was a pretty good story if you like surprise pregnancy romance. I like a light surprise pregnancy or secret baby romance every now and then after reading some darker romances. This one was a bit different because Delilah was carrying triplets. I like the fact that she wanted to handle things herself at first, but eventually got smarter and accepted help from Preston. I mean why do it all yourself while you have a wealthy baby daddy and the kids are just as much his as yours. Though I could see her point in wanting to keep things quiet in the office since it was already rumored that she was sleeping with her old boss, and she turns up preggo not long after Preston took over.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Jeremy York and Kendall Taylor. I am not all that fond of Kendall Taylor’s voice but it doesn’t annoy me like some narrator’s I have heard. It just isn’t one that I enjoy like some and her voice for male characters is awful. Jeremy York has a sort of gravelly voice which I like well enough, though he isn’t one of my favorites. I like him though so overall, the narration wasn’t bad, but wasn’t as good as some.

The socially anxious bookworm

She's jealous of the pretty, long-legged girls with flowing hair, she's socially anxious, she's afraid to get fired 'cause she's weird (can someone get fired for that?), she reads because she can be 'anybody', her best friend is her cat who apparently knows when she needs to speak by the way it looks at her...

The story could still be saved despite all that but the vibes... the tone...

It was too 'not like other girls'/woe is me... I just wanted to scratch my ears out (audiobook)

Gross

I stopped reading at the end of chapter 4. At this point, the male main character was still a manwhore. He has already met the main female, Delilah, but he was still drooling after other women, taking their numbers, acting like he was going to sleep with them, looking at them in a sexual way, etc. That's gross. He is already a little obsessed with Delilah but is still acting like a whore. Why would I want to read this? All promiscuity should end before the timeframe the book is in. Why would I want to read about this guy being a horrible person and being with, or wanting to be with, other women and then read about him with Delilah? That's disgusting.

Badly done

The title story of this book ends at 17%, and even that was almost too much. At times I thought it might turn into something okay, then I'd hit a section that seemed to be written by a frat boy; then another that seemed to be from a teenage girl. The author couldn't decide if the heroine was shy and awkward or feisty and "secretly confident". And while she was supposed to be "curvy", I got tired of the references to her "thick thighs" and him grabbing her "excess". Overall just badly done.

Delilah Kent works for Kiefer and Associates as an accountant. Delilah did not like to be noticed. She stayed to herself. Her worst nightmare came to life when her boss Mr Hathaway was retiring. They threw him a retirement party. They passed a microphone around and everyone was telling stories. Everyone was wondering who the knew boss would be. Preston Walker is a playboy. He is very smart and famous to taken over companies and tearing them apart to make them better. Delilah was scared she would get fired. She read his background. One night Delilah fell asleep in her office. Preston was leaving the office and a saw a light on. He walked in and she was asleep with her face stuck to a paper. He gently woke her up and she panicked. He couldn’t believe this was an office. He thought it was a broom closet. He looked how attractive she was. He wanted to know more about her. She went by what she read about him online and didn’t want to be fired or any parts of him. He didn’t know what it was about her but he wanted her. They made a bet if he didn’t fire anyone he takes her out to dinner. She didn’t think a man like him would look twice at a woman like her. One night of passion led to her being pregnant with triplets. She wanted to hide this bcs she heard the rumors before about how people thought she was sleeping with Me Hathaway. Her career as an account is very important her and this would be scandalous. I liked the book. Preston bought her out of her shell and made her a blooming flower. Definitely would recommend this book

Deliah is one of those wallflowers that you immediately connect to and want her to find her true love and place in life.  As a reader, I felt every emotion as the author took us on her journey to happy ever after.  Her anxiety and the way she protected herself yet still shone in her professional life spoke to me on a personal level.

Triplets Make Five is such an easy and light read and will make you smile and believe in true love and happily ever after.  This has all the elements of romance that enable you to believe in magic and beautiful moments, that men see beyond the facade and to the true person.

The flow of the story is perfect and kept me engaged and the supporting characters provided more light-hearted moments and helped cement this couple.  Deliah's parents were strange and I actually thought they had ulterior motives but then they just disappeared which made me happy.

Preston was a great character, he was alpha but also respectful of Deliah and slowly pulled her walls down.  I appreciated that he acknowledged her integrity and how smart she was on a professional level and respected that.  I would have loved to have had a chapter on work finding out about their relationship and all those employees that just overlooked Deliah and the wonderful person she was.

A wonderful surprise was the extra stories with this book, there are eight other romance stories to enjoy.

I listened to the end, wishing this book would turn around but sadly although there was a whimper hope in the last quarter, the ending crashed again. The characters are immature, make no sense, there’s a ton ridiculous things that make both Delilah & Parker just unlikable.
Delilah - how can someone so business smart be so under paid, not know that she will definitely need financial assistance from her rich boss/ babies daddy, how does she think she can continue work as usual with 3 infants, when she finally considers cost of living never factors in child care, and attitude towards co workers I just don’t get.
Parker- Callous, Clueless, Crass
Half way into pregnancy becomes a decent enough guy, but the knuckle dragging, locker room mentality base was to gag worthy to let go of at that point.
Then comes the epilogue, and you start to think maybe, maybe there’s some redemption to having story neatly tied up in pretty little HEA, but then it crashes and burns with the idea that a year later this happy, in love couple haven’t had sex since before he knew she was pregnant (that would be a 20 month span)
I rarely give harsh reviews, but this feels like the author’s preteen secretly replaced the book we should have gotten. And somebody must have gotten a bonus for every time the word “juices” was used, seriously some of the most awkward cringe worthy sexual content.

A Steamy Romance That Warmed My Heart!

Nicole Elliots’ Triplets Make Five was a well written, steam romance that had more substance than I had expected about Preston, a one and done womanizer who has just taken over the company that Delilah, a match wonder and investor’s accountant that has worked for the company for nine years. These two have a lustful evening before Delilah decides they need to keep their relationship professional, only to receive the little something, something they weren’t counting on. Along the way, he manages to show her that there is more to him than a selfish man whore hell bent on rebuilding companies and laying off people. Preston not only realizes how important Delilah’s business skills are to the company as well as seeing how important her presence is to his life as she developed complications with the birth of multiples. These two need to find their HEA before her life and the life of their children is taken from them.

I pretty much read this in one sitting as there was something about it that just enthralled me. Delilah was overlooked by so many people and was so filled with social anxiety and had such low self-esteem I couldn't help but be drawn to her but I think the thing I loved most about her is that despite all of that she was no pushover and when it came to Preston especially she was feisty and strong-willed. I can totally understand why he was so taken with her, here is a man who is used to woman throwing themselves at him and there is Delilah, seemingly completely unaffected by him only it turns out that is not quite the case. I enjoyed that their relationship developed over time, quite organically, and despite their ridiculous chemistry this is not an insta-love story, it is a story of two people who find themselves in a situation they weren't expecting but manage to build something solid through mutual respect, care and time.

This story has a bit of everything. I like that. It is a romance love story and I liked it very much. Two characters that have their reasons to have build walls around their hearts. A manwhore who finds his woman but has problems to get her. A sexy, fun, steamy hot, romance with twists. In the beginning it was too much with his confidence and women hunt but luckily he gets over it and concentrates on one woman. Emotional and loving story.

Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.
A passionate and emotional read with twists.

It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. There is passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book I've read by Nicole Elliot and I must say that I absolutely loved it. It was so riveting that I read the book in one sitting. This romantic love story revolves around Delilah a sweet, super intelligent but slightly odd woman and Preston, the handsome playboy and new CEO of the company. Despite the attraction between Preston and Delilah she turns down a date with him. No one ever says no to Preston so he is more determined to have her. She eventually caves and agrees to dinner. The dinner turns into much more and Delilah ends up at Preston's apartment. “Triplets Make Five” is an outstanding read, a marvelous romance and one you must read for yourself. One-click for a phenomenal reading experience.

Loved it

I was surprised I loved it so much. The main couple was so quirky that they drew me in and I became their silent cheerleader urging them to commit and praying their triplets turned out OK. Loved end.
Only few minor things I wished were different. Her parents coming to town, didn’t get or understand that at all, and her fearing for her job or money. He though it and should have verbalized the account he was setting up without asking her. Other work knowing about the, today wouldn’t matter, they would have been more upset of finding out and him not taking care of her and children. Last was her skills and talents. Could have worked from home, she would have felt better, less stress.

Okay I didn't mind this one. Preston was supposed to portray a very alpha male however I felt on multiple occasions he missed the mark. He let Delilah take the lead in a lot of situations where I felt he shouldn't have. Preston was very sweet and attentive and that dominant male side came out in the end but I would have liked to see it the entire time. Delilah was an odd duck, I assumed she would have emerged from her shell a bit thanks to Preston but if anything I felt she hid more. I never really felt like either of them "loved" each other so when it was said it felt misplaced. The epilogue was nice I got to see Delilah out of her shell however I think I would have liked to have been a part of it during the process. Not bad enough to deserve 2 stars but not good enough for 4 stars....

Sweet and Romantic

It happens every day woman uses birth control but still wind up pregnant, what doesn't happen every day is sleeping with your hot boss one time and ending up pregnant with triplets.
Not wanting to jeopardize their jobs they keep things a secret but when eclampsia forces bedrest and the father to be just move in and help care for them all things quickly change because attraction can only be fought to do long before love enters the picture.
Watching them go from trying to fight they attraction to falling in love melts your heart but when she starts coding on the delivery table and the last baby might not make it Nicole Elliot tears your heart out. I couldn't stop crying.
Triplets make Five is so well written you don't want to miss reading it !

This is a fun and sweet read that is packed with charm and sizzling chemistry. A well written book that offers an engaging plot and complex characters. I just adored Delilah and Preston. I loved how spunky and independent Delilah was even with all her issues. I loved that Preston liked Delilah just the way she was and was an honorable guy. The romance and relationship between this two was written very realistically as it grew slowly over time. This was an extremely pleasurable read that I recommend for fans of a true swoon worthy romance. I'm posting an honest, voluntary review after reading an advance copy of this book.

This was a fun romantic book to read. Delilah worked as an accountant, kept to herself didn’t socialize with anyone. When Preston took over the company he noticed something about her that intrigued him. Of course he was well known for his playboy ways. There was just something about her that made him want to change. Then she ends up pregnant with triplets. She is afraid of what will happen to both of them at the company. Will she let him take care of her & their babies? Will they let themselves love each other the way they know they do already? Wonderful book. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Don’t judge a book by its cover or title

I figured this would be one of those typical fluff pregnancy books that didn’t really have a story line. You know the ones I’m talking about they have sex, sex, sex, oops baby or “I’m going to breed a baby into you” then sex, sex, and more sex then voila a happy ending. But I saw a blurb for this book on Facebook so I thought what the heck I’ll get it a shot. Color me surprised, when I found an actual storyline in there. I’m a sucker for a pregnancy book with a storyline and this delivered. I definitely recommend reading this book it was good.

This book was good but it was a little strange for me. The hero seemed way more invested than the heroine. I know she was supposed to be very independent but the reversal of a somewhat common themes was different. The hero is a player who has no interest in monogamy and the heroine is a bit quiet and fades into the background but he's intrigued and pursues her. Once he gets her he's confused why he still wants her but he accepts it and continues to pursue a relationship. She runs and keeps running in one way or another through most of the book. I'm glad they worked out but I never really felt that she was as into him as he was into her.

Surprised.

I liked the first book, the title drew me in. This was my first time reading this author, the story was interesting. The premise was good and the author did an awesome job telling the story. Preston was sweet, handsome, sexy, honorable and a bit alpha. Delilah was very smart, independent and underneath all the cardigans and glasses she wore was a beautiful woman.
I was a little disappointed that after reading a few chapters came an epilogue of Triplets Make Five. The rest of the book was a bunch of other books. I felt like I was mislead by that, I would’ve like to read more about the original couple.

First time reading this author and I enjoyed this book very much. The character descriptions were well written and really made you connect with Delilah. She is a super smart lady, a bit down on herself and very defensive of her ways. She wants to melt into the background and not be noticed, only her new boss, Preston, will not let that happen. The book is about their on going relationship, a one night stand that only leaves Preston wanting more. He can't get her out of his head. He is her boss, secrets must be kept. But now Deliliah is pregnant. Follow their journey that changes them both and leads to a great HEA.

Delilah hates Preston. Preston believes he's going to marry Delilah because she's different, quiet, reserved, and smart. Delilah doesn't want anything to do with him. So, of course, he has to have her.
She's got the sultry librarian look, full lips, and all those curves. He can't get enough. He convinces her to be his for just one night. The real problem is that he's her new boss and if anyone at the office found out about their one night stand, they'd both be ruined. Their plan is to have one night of passion. Then, they'll go their separate ways, but afterwards he can't let her go because she's carrying his babies. All three of them. He won't let her do this alone.

This was a great book that was fun to read, Delilah has a one night of passion with her boss, but they planned to leave it at that. Office romances were frowned upon. Their attraction and chemistry were explosive. I loved their back and forth banter. And gosh what a difference three makes, like in babies. Three + Two = Five. Well written with likeable characters and a cute plot. No spoiler here, but there's an HEA, eventually. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Preston sees Delilah and and wants to take her out but Delilah isn't interested. Delilah has safely kept herself guarded and Preston comes off as completely out of her league, however Preston is determined. What happens when Delilah ends up pregnant with triplets, will Preston prove to her he is worth taken a chance?

I really enjoyed this one. I liked that Delilah is quirky and you get why she is closed off after learning her background. Preston was an intriguing hero, I really enjoyed this couple together.

This was meh. The love hate portions could have been stronger. She came off as willful and stubborn rather than smart.

Delilah is an introverted woman must work for a new CEO after her old one retires. Preston's a playboy and known for firing people. After losing the crappiest bet in history she agrees to a date, sleeps with him unprotected (and the excuse about the birth control was ridiculous) and figures out she's pregnant after a few weeks.

This was choppy and shallow and I don't get how these two are a couple.

Delilah loves her job working with numbers and her boss who understands her quirks, but he is retiring. How will she get along with the new boss? Preston is the new boss and comes off as a horrible, arrogant guy at first. When Preston first meets Delilah he is unsure as to why she is in the office that she is in and is drawn to her. He wants to know more about her. Delilah is drawn to Preston as well, but she will not give in to his womanizing ways. But the best laid plans and giving in for one night can change quicker than a change of business. A wonderfully fun and entertaining read.

I enjoyed the read. Deliliah and Preston were complete opposites. He was the Alpha boss and she was the demure accountant that worked for the company that he took over. Although there was a slow progression throughout the story, it would appear that Deliliah drew Preston's attention from the beginning. Not something that you would ever think would have happened. She changed him, especially with the love and care he had for her. There was steamy, sexy and romantic parts but at the same time, there was humor. Great read.

I really liked this story! It was the right amount of lighthearted and serious to keep me turning the pages. Preston and Delilah's progression as characters is pretty quick and I felt that there was just the right amount of tension between the two to keep it interesting. I loved their banter. Hot scenes, falling in love, babies, and HEA...it's all in there and written well.

This a heart warming, sweet, exciting, hot and so much more. She is shy, low self esteem, wants to stay in the background but has a strong will and is no pushover. She has a very good looking alpha boss who takes a liking to her. They have a night stand and she gets pregnant with triplets. He steps up and takes care of her. This is a very enjoyable read to curl up with. I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Delilah, an accountant and personal assistant, briefly sees Preston, the new CEO of the company Delilah works for, after falling asleep at her desk when reviewing the company's financial data. As the story progresses opinions are formed then changed, secrets are revealed, and a happily ever after is found.

Love me some Delilah and Preston

I really liked this read. Delilah is brilliant but doesn’t like to draw attention to herself. Preston is a sexy CEO and once he sees Delilah he wants her. He tries to seduce her to no avail. They eventually share a steamy night together but what will have when Delilah ends up pregnant with triplets. This was a fast-paced read with plenty of drama. I liked the characters; their chemistry was steamy and the story held my interest throughout.
