A woman with a secret past. A man who is afraid to love with all he has.
Ginger Preconceived notions about how love should be had been blocking Ginger up. And even now that she has met the man she is sure is the one, she wants him so badly to say those three little words first. But between his hesitation and her secrets, maybe it just isn't meant to be.
Todd Todd wants to tell Ginger he loves her, but something is holding him back. He didn’t want to jump into fast. He preferred caution. And he was afraid she would run like so many others do.
Can Todd and Ginger overcome the obstacles to get to the love, they both crave? Find out in this sweet and sexy romance great for readers of Frankie Love and Kaylee Spring.
Ava Greene grew up in Hollywood where she performed in numerous tv shows, commercials and variety acts before retiring to work behind the scenes. Pandora's Box is her first novel.
These stories are short and full of drama. Ginger was a sweetheart and I really hurt for her. The Dr. Hottie in this story was pretty much an ass. I think she forgave his “coldness” way too quickly.
Ginger and Todd are introduced by Grant and Alexa. Each have things in their past that threaten their relationship. Finally, everything is going good then the unthinkable happens. Ava Greene has written yet another great read. I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
In this book Ginger and Todd become more. They just told each other of their love for the other. But in comes her ex. He wants her back. And when she finds out that the divorce didn't go through she has to decide whether she wants the past or future life.
I read an ARC of this book, so maybe some of the things I will mention aren't in the final version. If that's the case, let me know and I will remove it from my review. Those would read the previous book in the series knew Todd and Ginger would be the couple in this book. Even so, I felt I was dropped into the middle of the story as we are told they have been together for a couple of months. The plot was weak-- why didn't Ginger's ex make more of an effort sooner to tell her they weren't divorced? Why didn't Alexa tell Grant who could then tell Todd about the situation, or at least convince him to talk to Ginger? And a final observation, in the epilogue: Ginger is wearing opera gloves and a "tube top dress" as maid of honour. I think the author means strapless dress (that sound more elegant and less hoochie-mama) but who knows?
