As the stakes get higher and emotions intensify, the heroes have to question what the prize is really worth to them. They all have secrets. They all have goals. And the Trials have a way of testing each and every one of them…

Lyssa’s feelings for her new deckhand may be even harder to control with a visit to the island of the goddess of love… But he has one last thing to tell her, a secret that may change how she sees him for good.

So far the best installment of the series!

We join all the crews right where we left them waiting to start their next trial. These three trials prove to be even tougher both physically as well as psychologically. We get insight into some individuals and what made them choose their path. There are some heart-stopping moments and feelings are definitely present!

Eliza Raine has done an incredible job with world-building and character development. I definitely have my favorites and one in particular whom I want to slap! The characters continue to grow and evolve as we go along. She has done a fantastic job transporting us to a wholly different realm

I’m so excited to see what happens next! Highly recommend it to everyone, but especially to anyone who has any inclination to Greek myths

3-3.5 stars. Full disclosure my rating reflects the misery I felt after trial 9 (Ares) and the loss of my favorite contestant, as well the absolute fury I feel at Jerk Herc and his entourage. Why are the Bad Guys freaking winning.. WAAAAHHHH.

This book takes all our characters through challenges set forth by Aphrodite, Hermes and Ares. I get so irritated at these gods. It just makes sense that the smartest, loyalest, cleverest, etc hero would win but only some of the gods are rewarding of those qualities and its freaking infuriating. Freaking cheaters man. What I want to know is when is Karma gonna come in and wreck some shoot.. cause I'm just waiting here.

Trial 7, things steam up as everyone sets forth to Aphrodites isle. Tasked with trapping a firey horse Lissa makes brash and careless decisions and doesn't listen to her team only to come up with her own ideas and go off to pursue them, come back to find shes lost more than just the challenge. Theseus.. what a dude really. Hedone is still an idiot and Evadne is finally having some come to Jesus time.
Trial 8: Hermes, the trickster puts our heroes through a gruesome maze of puzzles and traps. Despite Lissa's dream team, once again she doesn't trust her team mates and ends up loosing just barely. As a punishment for loosing one team looses a member.
Trial 9: What seems like is going to be an Epic Challenge from Ares brought forth by his beautiful Amazon Warriors turns into a freaking crap show because of Jerk Herc and we loose one of our most beloved Heroes as they sacrifice their chance at immortality to love.

I'm so frustrated at this point there is no way I can stop here I have to see how this ends.. 3 trials left.

‘Storms of Olympus’ is book three in Eliza Raine’s The Immortal Trials. This book contains trials 7-9. Books one and two ‘Skies of Olympus’ and ‘Tides of Olympus’ must be read prior to this. This book is told in multiple POVs.

The Alastor and Hybris are in equal first place with two wins each. The last trial in Scorpio saw Epizon severely injured possibly dead from Hercules, thanks to Lyssa and the rest of the Alastor crew, they were able to get Ep in the ship and away from Hercules. Half way through the trials, things are heating up and not looking too good for some of the contestants. Will the Alastor be able to win the trials? Will Epizon survive? Does Hercules get punished for attacking Lyssa and Ep.

Seriously what is Hercules’ deal? This guy has a serious problem and I really hope that Lyssa is able to defeat him. This guy needs to have some major sense knocked into him. Oh also Hedone, love you need help as well, I know it’s not entirely your fault but girl WTAF... Theseus you loveable guy, you have to be the most sweetest and perfect man, your heart is just so big. Abderos 😭 why, why, why?

As you can tell by my cryptic and random rambling there is some major events that take place in this book. Warning be prepared to have your heart ripped out cause things are going to be seriously messed up and it doesn’t look good.

Ok Ms Raine what was going on in your life when you wrote this book? This book took me on one hell of an emotional roller coaster, it starts off with a bang and ends with an even bigger explosion, and don’t even get me started on the middle events...

A Large Bull, Fire-breathing-flesh-eating Horses, Amazonian’s, need I say anymore to convince anyone to read this book?

Seeing each character grow and flourish with every new trial that is presented. Relationships and formed, pasts and revealed, futures and hoped for. Ahhh I am so nervous for the final book and the final three trials...

Storms of Olympus
Book 3 in the Immortality Trials by Eliza Raine

This book was intense. You finally get to learn more about some of the characters back stories and it helped to connect with them more.

I honestly thought I couldn't hate Hercules more but then I read this book and I just want to watch him die a slow and painful death.

Hedone, his lover, is just as bad because she's absolutely blind to how horrible of a person he is. Everytime he does something awful, she comes up with an excuse and I kind of want to remove her eyes with a rusty knife.

Lyssa and her love interest have started to heat up. With one book left, they better get a decent ending or I will be knocking on Eliza's door demanding answers.

Only three trials remain and some shocking news has come to light.

I can't wait to see how this story ends.

I love this series for all the adventures the characters have to face.
The Trials are going on, and now Lyssa and her rivals should grip all the forces they possess, including some critical thinking and fast reactions. The next three trials can easily mess up with their minds and overthrow them in a physical combat. Three new tasks; each of them even more difficult that the previous challenges. Now the contestants should obtain a priceless gem from a tricky maze built on one of the hidden islands belonged to Hermes and his Gemini realm, catch a fire breathing horse from Diomedes stable at Pisces realm belonged to Aphrodite, and fight with warriors Amazons of the Queen Hippolyta from the Aries realm ruled by Ares. The deception is near, as Hercules has no intention to let his daughter Lyssa beat him in these Trials!

Loved it!

I liked how rapid the pacing for this book, the short chapters from multiple perspectives really helped with progressing the story as well as developing the characters. I'm also really glad to see how the relationship between Phyleus and Lyssa has unfolded. This is the best book in the series so far.

I'm gonna finish it because I already downloaded all of the series, but it could really be so much better. There's no real connection to any of the characters because we don't really get to know them very well. There are romances but they fucking suck. I'm also irritated that I keep hearing about Lyssa's giant messy red curls and every cover has some sleek coif on it.

it just gets better and better

I BAWLED in this. That is all.

Fun trials, and by fun, I mean deadly and seriously emotional. I love that things are slowly falling into place and the drama is going to kill me but I don’t care so long as I get some payback from the pain.

I received a digital arc in exchange for an honest review. This is simply my opinion on the book and is not influenced by any external factor.

Just as exciting and unputdownable as the previous installments, Storms of Olympus focuses on our heroes’ (and anti-heroes’) challenges in the seventh, eighth and ninth trials. And it seems that as the trials progress, things are only going to get tougher, and more deadly. Actually, I think this one is my favourite so far!

Hercules is still the same villain he always was (again, a complete twist on the classic Disney movie and Olympus Coliseum world in Kingdom Hearts),and just when we think he can’t do anything worse than before, he stoops to a new low…and then even lower.

In the same fashion as Skies of Olympus, this has each trial separated as a ‘book’ which is clearly labeled and identified prior to any descriptions being provided. There’s also a map at the start of each book, which again, can be useful to track which realms have already been challenged and which are still to come. Additionally, the point of view shifts appropriately in clear intervals so that we can experience the trials from the perspective of each of the four individual teams.

Although we see more romance blossoming here than in the previous installments, nothing is ever described in detail, and is a clean read. There is also some mild cursing and a few suggestive themes, but nothing major.

This is a really quick and engaging read. I started reading this before going to bed, and couldn’t put it down until I finished it at midnight!

As I said earlier, I think this is my favourite out of the series to date. Why, you ask? Well, for a few reasons.
• One, that ending!!
• Two, the trials themselves in these particular books are amazing. Out of all the trials to date, trial 7 was my favourite; it seemed like so much fun, and I enjoyed solving the riddles and puzzles along with the teams.
• Third, we get even more character development from Lyssa and the other participants, even those from other teams. Without going in to spoilers, there is one team in particular who gives up something major to help another team overcome Hercules’ abhorrent actions. And that completely selfless action was so heartwarming, it makes you realize that even though they are all technically against each other, they still work together and support each other – well, everyone except Hercules, that is.

Overall: just as excellent as the previous two - definitely one to reread in the future and am definitely looking forward to the final three trials and the overall winner of the tournament !

RATING: 4.75/5 (rounded to the nearest full star).

I didn't think they could get better but WOW; I was proven wrong!!
These by far are the best I have read of the set.
The world building is just amazing and you can just picture it all happening.
So much action, suspense and some twists that keep you gripped to the very end not wanting to stop til finished.
Even then I just wanted to continue with the next one.
These characters and stories are just amazing and I highly recommend reading them.

With excitement around every corner and characters to absolutely love (or hate), this next book in the series is probably the most exciting so far.

The trials continue, and this time they are even more deadly and dangerous than before. Every moment had me on the edge of my seat to see how the heroes would get through the tricky situations the gods set up for them. But it's not only the excitement which hooks. These characters carry depth and stories of their own. With every new trial comes more knowledge of what makes each person tick and why they are doing what they do.

Then, there's a hint of romance. Of course, not clear cut and packed with surprises. There's also the question of trust, friendship and how far bonds are willing to be stretched. Nothing is clear and swished together with action-packed scenes, it's hard to put the book down.

Again, this ends on a cliff-hanger, and it will be exciting to see where it goes next.

I received an ARC copy and enjoyed every second. So, I'm leaving my honest thoughts.

The Story Continues to Ratchet Up!

Oh, my gosh! What a ride these three trials are! Things only seem to get more deadly as time goes on; the trials are definitely getting harder and harder, and the competition is fierce. The characterization throughout all the novellas is right on point, especially for Lyssa and Hercules. I just adore her crew. The trials themselves are so challenging and are not just fascinating to watch from an outsider’s perspectivethey also reveal so much about characters. This set leaves us on quite a cliffhanger, and I'm very curious to see where it goes from here. Three more islands, trials, and gods to go!

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

OH. MY. GODS!!! Can it get more intense? The suspense is killing me! With each episode the trials get more dangerous, more deadly. Secrets are revealed, and yet more secrets remain still uncovered, affecting the teams' dynamics. The world building is phenomenal, the characters outstanding in an ongoing process of developing, while the plotline is full of twists, dangerous tasks, action, romance and suspense. This installment ends in a mmajor cliffhanger that left me craving the next installment in the series. I hope it's out soon!!!

I have enjoyed the first book. The second is also great. Things becomes more violent when there's less chances for winning. Some decisions must be taken. Some actions too. Great reality, plot and action. I love all characters. The books are addictive. I couldnot put them away.
