22-year-old Sullivan Meadows knew dating Akara & Banks would be complicated, but now that her relationship is public, everything has been put on

@ Can’t believe Sullivan Meadows is dating TWO men and they’re like all together. Like OMG. Totally didn’t think the rumors were true.

@ anyone know what happened to Sullivan Meadows? News is saying something bad went down. Seems bad.

@ Why is there no reporting on the thing that “allegedly” happened to that Meadows girl? They aren’t saying whether her boyfriends were there???

@ Y’all I can’t with Sullivan’s boyfriends. They just sandwiched her in PUBLIC to avoid cameras lmao

@ Banks Moretti & Akara Kitsuwon are totally banging. I don’t make the rules

@ OMGOMGOMG Sullivan Meadows qualified for the Olympics! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

@ Celebrity Crush is saying ALL the families will be at the Olympics to root for Sullivan. Im dead #HalesMeadowsCobalts

@ Dude no way she wins a gold medal. Sulli the Slut is too busy screwing anything that walks

@ I bet her boyfriends will distract her. Last Olympics, she was single. This one, she’s a MESS. Messiness isn’t getting gold #sorrynotsorry

With danger, Olympics, and unexpected life twists on the horizon for Akara, Sulli, and Banks, the only way out of the rising tide is to swim harder.

You say
Bad – Worse – Worst

and all I hear is
Wild Like Us – Fearless Like Us – Infamous Like Us

Surprise, here I am 🤡 it took me forever to read this book and I really thought I'd be too drained to rant about it, but–god help me–my hate for Kitsulletti and Infamous Like Us trumps everything and gives me the energy boost needed to vent (also fun fact: when I finished ILU I was so done with this world that I fell asleep at 8pm and slept for 10 hrs straight 😩 a book that puts you into a coma has suddenly a whole new meaning). Therapy is expensive, ranting on Goodreads is for free so here we goooo. Buckle up besties, because we're going for a ride. 😈

🗑️ Let's start with Sullivan Meadows. The most insufferable heroine in this series and I'd even go that far to say that she is one of the most annoying heroines ever written in romance. That bitch got on my last fucking nerve. I can't believe this is Raisy's daughter. Ryke and Daisy are so wholesome and then there is Sulli 🤡 reading her chapters gave me brain damage. Sulli talks like a 16 yrs old immature frat boy (it's not as bad as in Wild Like Us tbh) and she was so whinny. 911-I'd like to reoport a missing deranged horse that is on the run. Sulli cried over everything, her accidental pregnancy, losing at the olympics, Jane being pregnant too. Speaking of Jane, Sulli was the worst fucking cousin ignoring Jane because of how she would "bE cOmPaReD to HEr 🤡" bitch, you are not better than the media. Actually you are even worse, because she is your family and you are being a little crybaby. Instead of using that opportunity to bond with your cousin over shared experience, you avoid her like the plague and makes her feel like shit. "I waNt tO BE tHe KinD of PERsON pEoPLE can FuCkiNG tRuSt." Abandoning her best friend (Beckett) when it gets hard, abandoning her cousin (Jane) when it's too much, trash talking her other cousin (Charlie). The nerve. The audacity. The joke. LMAO. No wonder no one wants to include you in their friendship you're a disloyal self-centered asshole.

And all her whinnying about placing second at the Olympics?! 💀 I get that swimming is Sulli's only personality trait and without it she is nothing, but oh boy was it exhausting. She's crying about how the media says she is too distracted and it's just the truth. Sulli getting hate on social media about her poly relationship, she finds out before the Olympics that she is pregnant without wanting to be, has PDSD from when some thief pointed a gun at her head etc. THAT ARE DISTRACTIONS WHY DENY IT YOU DUMB IDIOT. She is literally crying about how "she'll go from one of the greatest swimmers of my generations to one of the greatest failures" does Silver medal at the Olympic screams to you like being the greatest failure? CRYING IN WHITE PRIVILEGE 🤡 I cannot stand this girl one bit. She is the worst.

🤡 Next, our dear Heroes. Mister Akara 'my-dad-is-my-role-model-and-I-will-never-live-up-to-his-standard' Kitsuwon and Mister Banks 'my-dad-is-a-piece-of-shit-and-I-hate-him' Moretti. One would think characters with this kind of daddy-issues would have a bright personality, but nah wrong. They couldn't even be blander. Why are these two getting less personality with each book. While Sulli gets more insufferable with each book, Akara and Banks just blend into the background no matter how many chapters are in their POVs.

Here is Sulli talking about her her ex-boyfriend Will Rochester, but it could apply to Akara and Banks too

"Fuck him and his stupid chiseled jaw and his bland personality and his deceitful fucking butthole!"

Also this

"I didn't order a sandwich." Sulli grins.
"But you're the peanut butter to our bread."
"We'd be bland without you," Akara jokes.

I absolutely LOVE the self awareness of these guys. They KNOW they are bland af, but what they got wrong is that they ARE bland, even with Sulli in the middle. 🏃🏻‍♀️

🚮 The CRINGE is not letting down anytime soon with this couple. The problem why Kitsulletti doesn't work is because all three characters sound the same. I'm reading Sulli POV and it could as well be Akara or Banks. So many times I had to look up who the chapter was about because they all have the same annoying immature voice. So many scenes where the three of them shout random things at each other or say the dumbest shit that made my soul wither away.

Exhibit A:
"I fucking hate fireworks. They can go blow up Satan's butthole. That's where you fucking belong!" she shouts at the ceiling.
"YEAH!" Akara yells upward.
"FUCK YEAH!" Sulli screams.

Exhibit B:
"We're not doing anything that could hurt you or the baby," Akara adds. "Cumbuckets," I mutter.
"She's sad," Akara says in a teasing voice to Banks.
He wears a shadow of a smile. "She wants our cocks."

Exhibit C:
"Don't die for me," she chokes out.
Banks and I share a smile, and he's the one who says, "I couldn't think of a better person to die for."
"Lady Meadows," I finish.

Exhibit D:
Daisy swivels more, unbuckling. "Good news first. The sun before the clouds is totally better."
Sulli tucks her legs to her chest. "I'd rather be a sunrise slut than Sulli the Slut anyway."

Exhibit E:
"Are we going to what?" Akara asks, sliding his boxer-briefs down. He's totally naked, his erection standing at attention. I imagine him filling me. I breathe, "Are we going to bone?" He smiles. "You want his boner?"

🗑️ The plot of this whole book was atrocious. It was just drama before the Olympics, drama during the Olympics and drama after the Olympics. Plotting was never KBR strongsuit and that's okay, because they created some of the best characters and gave them great character development (I'm not talking about Like Us series btw) Even the drama in this series doesn't make any sense. It's still about how the media is bashing these families and following them. It's the same shit from the Addicted series over and over again. You can't tell me after over 20 years that media still think that Ryke is Moffy's father and that Lily had something with Ryke seriously? That's the most stupid thing ever. Now they are just reaching with the drama. Yeah yeah, the media and tabloids are the worst, but for fucks sake, come up with something new 😪

🤡 That Sulli, Banks and Akara all hate Charlie was annoying to read, because the Like Us series is synonym with Charlie Cobalt bashing, but hey Charlie is a complex and multi-layered character and it takes a certain level of intelligence to understand him, which all three of them lacks, so of course Sulli would think that Charlie "maybe has a heart somewhere" girlie you wouldn't understand even if it hit you in the face with how weak you are. With Charlie you at least know where you are, Sulli the fake coward can't relate.

⭐ King CHARLIE COBALT came to spit some facts. Finally someone who calls Sulli out at her shitty behavior. This one scene with him and the other Cobalt brother lives in my head now.

"Instead of failing at whispering, just say it to my face, Sulli." An insult and a challenge. I'm not interested in the mental-fuckery from Charlie–not before tomorrow's 400m free. "I'll fucking pass."
"Coward."

"And that will always be the difference between them and all of you," Charlie says pointedly. "You have a heart."
"And you dont?" Eliot challenge. "I see through you, Charlie, and your heart beats just like the rest of ours, dear brother."
"If only that were true."

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE COBALT BROTHERS SERIES!!! They are carrying this series on their shoulders with their one cameo per book and it's time for them to shine. 🥰

❤️ Tom's concert and the Coballoway crumbs. My heart 🥺

Black high heels, black dress, and black sunglasses, Rose walks hand-in-hand with Connor Cobalt. He's dressed for a Fortune 500 business meeting, not an emo-punk concert, but they carry themselves with importance, like everyone else are the ones who don't belong.

🚮 Akara's mom dying at the end of the book was kinda ... random. We never really got a scene where Akara introduced Sulli to his mother and then she was just dead. Three Kitsuletti books and Sulli hasn't met any of her boyfriends relatives and then Akara's mom dies? Why was this even included? It didn't make any sense. Oh wait–it's just to drag out these books even more and create drama where drama is not needed.

🗑️ That whole drama when Thatcher got shot protecting Sulli dksdlsfjldfks I WAS CRYING TEARS GUYS 🤣🤣 it was so over the top dramatic how everyone was crying and waiting in the hospital BYE. It so obvious how Thatcher is always the villain in this series, at the beginning his dislike of Farrow and in Kitsulletti books too and how Moffy is always the great Hero who can do no wrong, cause he is such a sAiNt 🥴

🤡 Kitsulletti's children are named "SEVEN" and "BLUE" FSKLDJSLDFKJALFDKAJ Blue is somehow acceptable if I close both of my eyes, but 7 ?! Just because Akara's nickname is "Nine" because he was born at 09:09 am (🤡) doesn't mean you have to name your son "Seven" i mean was he at least born at 07:07 (🤡) these elitist people really getting weird with their names

🚮 This book could have been at least 300 pages shorter if you would cut out all the unnecessary drama and scenes with unnecessary side characters no one asked for. For example: there was a whole chapter dedicated where Sulli wanted to confront her ex-boyfriends family, but instead it was a confrontation with some of the other bodyguards. Was this important for the story? No. Then there was a whole ass chapter dedicated to find Sulli's bracelet that she forgot 🤡 why did we need this exactly? WHY? Then another chapter where Akara and Banks act like the 15 yrs old they are and open a twitter account to fight the haters. Instead of using the ink to write these dumb af scenes, give us scenes with the parents, the other relationships between cousin-cousin or sister-sister. All this potential wasted.

🎉🎉🎉 OMG OMG OMG I'M REALLY DONE WITH KITSULLETTI IM FUCKING DONE 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Even though, I heard there is going to be a epilogue novel for the Like Us series with all couples like Some Kind of Perfect where i will have to read Kitsulletti's POV once again, but never a full length 600+ book again 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 ALEXA PLAY PARTY IN THE USA 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Conclusion

In case this review didn't make it clear enough. I hate these characters. I hate this book. I basically hate the majority of this series, but most of all I hate myself that I can't stop reading this series, because I'm in way too deep now. I started the Like Us series for the Core 6 cameos and now we are reduced to several paragraphs of the Core 6 in a 600+ pages books with additional side character (Charlie) scenes to get us over with. I feel so light now after I could unload all the burden. 😭

“It’s been the three of us taking the next step, and I don’t want to move backwards. Forward. Onward. Always.”

update: i just read a review where they basically said this is the best book in this WHOLE series. fyi its not. don't be fooled, please. do not go into this book with high expectations. hell i lowered my expectations and it still sucked ass.

this book was so long. i skimmed some chapters that literally happened exactly the same as their last two books. i just hated how sulli thought the whole world revolved around her. no really anything happened in this book she would say "i thought..." bitch fuck off has nothing to do with you. i'm gonna say this again and for the last time (because this is the last book i ever want to hear sulli again) but sulli is the most disappointing and annoying heroine ever written. she radiates pick me energy, she's disloyal to her own family (if you want to know its the first 2 points and last point under the hate section), and she's just embarrassing. i literally loved her in the last 5 chapters. why couldn't she be like that for all 3 of her books? anyway i'm glad we are done with sulli's books because now we get luna's and lemme tell you this girl has been making me cry since some kind of perfect and i just need her to be okay.

reasons why sulli only cares about herself

- beckett was struggling with drugs and sulli cut him off instead of being by his side and helping him like charlie, jane, and moffy did.
- trash talks charlie (even tho he's the only one who cared about her and beckett's friendship) and she said she HATES him.
- cut off jane because she(sulli) made it a competition on who will be the better mom
- only forgave thatcher because he almost died saving her from a bullet
- got jealous of her cousins not including her in shit
- literally decided to date 2 guys because she didn't have her best friend anymore (beckett)

everything i mention below are spoilers (read them because this book isn't worth going into blindly)

things i LOVED in this book:

- jesse&nona moment <3
- banks and akara’s kiss (chapter 21)
- akara basically pulling the “touch her and i’ll kill you” trope (chapter 27)
- charlie says this to sulli “Instead of failing at whispering, just say it to my face, Sulli.” and then calls her a coward <3 i fucking love him and love that he doesn’t baby sulli because that bitch is prego and still acts like a 12-year-old.
- potential eliot & winnifred ?? maybe enemies to lovers omg
- lo <3 & lily <3
- rose and connor <3
- ryke & daisy <3 my goodness i miss them so much
- the epilogue <3

things i HATED/DISLIKED in this book:

- ALL THE FUCKING CHARLIE SLANDER. EXCUSE ME????? charlie is legit sulli’s cousin and she “thinks” he has a heart? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. Also had to put this on top of the list because i fucking hate it here. Istg kbr probs don’t even want to write charlie’s book because EVERYONE loves him. what is it with the cobalt family that they keep fucking up?
- “How am I supposed to unfuck whatever my twin brother fucked? And Jane—Sulli is running away from Jane. Her older cousin.” whatever this was. why is sulli creating so much drama between her family members? i mean first beckett in which she literally told him to fuck off DURING one of his hardest and lowest points in life (fucking trashy move and she made HIM apologize to her?) then the whole charlie thing where she actually says she HATES him. then it’s the jane thing where she is AVOIDING jane because she’s comparing pregnancies. wtf? idk who sulli thinks she is but no one gives a flying rats ass about her.
- the timeline: i hate that we jumped 6 months from FLU. and then got pieces of the past. i mostly hated it because so much happened like marrow and jane&thatcher both having babies and we didn’t even know. they mentioned it in passing.
- i didn’t like that sulli wanted to abort the baby because of the media. she also made it a competition between her and jane on who will be the better parent. no one fucking said that except her. this toxic behavior that sulli is always carrying is not nice to read about.
- all the new characters were so unnecessary. i just hate that they are adding more bodyguards because now there are more ships and that means (maybe i hope not) more like us books. i just want CHARLIE’s book ffs.
- the death/rape threats were way too fucking much. i get it famous people get them but not THIS much.
- i very much hated that all the side characters were neglected. not once did that happen in addicted/calloway sisters series. not fucking once. the whole purpose of this world is because of the side character dynamic. i just didn’t like how this was so centered on this couple and only this couple. beckett and sulli are best friends but they barely talked in this book. how is that even fair?
- how long this book was. it was like 250 longer than needed.
- thatcher was literally dying because he took a bullet for her, jane and banks were a mess but sulli literally had to go and say this: “I’ve never fully felt a part of the Moffy-Jane friendship.” ??? wtf is this toxic energy.

things that i WANTED more off:

- i’m not discouraging mfm relationships but i just really wanted this to be mmf. the only reason this book is getting any stars is because akara and banks kissed. i needed more of them.
- i wanted more of the side characters.
- we were promised more luna and donnelly scenes but we barely got any. i just want more. this book was 600 pages long but we didn't get anything out of it.

How does it feel to be an author who lost credibility for lying to their readers (saying multiple times that kit x sulli will be the only 2 people in the relationship) and manipulating them (keep pushing Kitsulli's books and dangling them for many years just to fuck with them by adding a useless third wheel)? 🤔

Edit:

This quote comes from Oscar and Jacks book:

"When people believe a lie, they will cling to it with all their fucking might. You know why? Because if they admit it was a lie, it means they were wrong. People don’t want to be wrong."

Hypocrisy at its finest.

First and foremost I want to say that this review is not so much of what happened in the book (plot wise), but more in line of the things that didn’t happen in the book (and actually during all three books WLU , FLU and ILU).

I don’t really want to get into plot points since I think the problem really lies within the characters themselves.

Let me explain.

KBR have always felt like very character driven authors to me, to the extend of plot not really mattering and being secondary to how the characters relate to the plot and other characters on page.

That means that their characters feelings, thought and behavior takes center stage and the plot is only used to highlight those aspects of the story.

Now this is all well and fine by me (I myself am looking for books with this dynamic) and I think that KBR have done a good job so far in that sense of letting the characters shine and using the plot as a tool to make the characters known to the reader.

I said “so far” and what I mean by that is that the line is clearly drawn between CLU and WLU.

If we take the characters before CLU into consideration we can see a lot of good characters development and use of plot.

For instance for Moffy and Farrows books (even if not my favorite couple by far) have always felt real and organic to me. I have sensed Moffy’s anxiety and his overwhelming fear of not measuring up to the standards set by society and himself. I have felt his struggels to come to terms with who he really is and how he wants to be perceived. For me, Moffy is one os those characters that has so much growth in him, in a way that sadly Akara, Banks and Sulli lack.

Farrow falls into that same category for me, he is arrogance and witted and a bit dark, but fiercly protective and very mature. I have always felt that from Farrow, that his maturity really shines through.

Now Jane and Thatcher were maybe a bit less impressive in that sense, but I do have to say that they only had two books to Moffy and Farrows four. Not a fair fight by all means.

Jane and Thatcher both have a sense of truth to them, a sense of belonging to the rest of the family, of existing outside of their plot and way to the end of the book.

I never once felt with these four characters that I was reading something less than real. It was a enjoyable read, with lots of honest and faulty parts on all sides.

And while I do criticize Moff’s hero complex (Charlie was spot on in my opinion), Farrow’s arrogance, Jane’s insecurity and Thatcher’s hypocrisy, those are all thing that are actually discussed and dealt with, not only by the characters surrounding them, but by the characters themselves.

The characters actively work on bettering relationships, themselves and others as well. Moffy makes a real effort to understand his cousin Charlie and helpBecket with his drug use. Farrow actively fights for a relationship with Thatcher and maintains the one he has with his Yale boys. Jane fights to find her voice and her strength.

And here lies the problem I have with ASB (Akara- Sulli- Banks).

1. Sexist trope: From the moment we meet Sulli she is a driven, ambitious, determined, forest loving, adventure seeking girl, with gold medals under her belt.
She is just retired from that and is on a quest to find herself, make a woman out of herself.

I find it very disappointing that the journey for a young woman to womanhood is into the arms of not one, but two men.

I, as a young woman myself, am disappointed in Sulli’s journey. Not about the plot point, about the chapters and any of that. I am disappointed in the way that she has no visible maturity to her and has only “found herself” to be strong and an adult when she found her men.

For me one glaring example of that is her “friendship” (and I use that term very very loosely) with Becket.

She claims to be BFFs with Becket for forever and have always been. They shared those traits I mentioned earlier and had a common goal: be the best at what they did.

We do not get any depiction of that friendship at any point, the only thing we get to see is how it breaks in SLU over Sulli being judgmental and hurt over not knowing a secret form her alleged BFF.

Afterwards their relationship is fractured, until the plot demands Beckets to explain to her what a ploy relationship is using M&Ms (thanks Becket you sweetheart).

After WLU (where Charlie had to literally blackmail her to get to talk to her “best friend”) there is no development in FLU on their part. The have some conversations that I could have with a lady on the morning commute and nothing much else. Now we are at ILU and… has anyone seen Becket? Oh yes, there is a conversation at the end that sets up Beckets romance some more. Also some stuff about people drifting away. The End.

What I want to say is that there is a lot of telling and no showing at all. Not once have I actually felt that Sulli was even remotely interested in Becket’s problems, worries, hopes and dreams. Not once have I heard her wonder how he is doing. Is he struggling with his cease of drug use? How is the ballet going? How is your OCD? Have you made it to all Wednesday night dinners? Can I come over? Can I hang out?

The fact that Sulli tells Luna first, just because her book is next in line feels like a cop out.

Becket has only been a tool to be used to further along Sulli’s plot lines. And that does not make a friendship.

The overarching problem here is that there is a certain trope developed here: The girl who gets a boyfriend and forgets about her friends.

Now, Akara and Banks get to keep their friends, sure there are some ripples and some distance, but there is a core value in those friendships that feel very real to the reader.

But Sulli doesn’t, Sulli looses her BFF, but since she has two men now, she doesn’t need him anymore. Frankly it is quiet a sexist thing, more so coming from two female authors.

2. Lack of character development:Not only Sulli, character development is also lacking in Banks and Akrara, but Sulli is supposed to be the star of this book..right?

So Sulli does not try to work on her relationships, she does not make an effort to actually understand people and their actions. She judges them based on some moral high ground that only her and B and A walk on.

I think that is really what maturity is, making sense that not everyone in this world will be on your side always, that while people make mistakes and are faulty, they are also good and worthy. And if someone does a fucked up thing that doesn’t make them bad or evil, it makes them human and someone who chose differently than you for reasons that you may know or may be unknown.
Sully and also B and A lack that sense of wanting to connect to other people. They seem to only exist within their bubble where they decide who is right and who is wrong.

The fact that she is doubting if Charlie has a heart, based on if she gets to benefit from his actions is very childish and small-minded.

The triad is very cliquey and immature, to a level where A and B actually have a dislike for Charlie for just being different and faulty.

I am very disappointed in Thatcher as well when he says that Charlie is his least favorite. Not only is that very unprofessional but it shows a level of maturity that should be much higher at this point.

The problem with ASB is that they have that small town mentality of “they are either with us or against us” and the whole dynamic makes them look like little kids playing dress up. There are no shades of grey in their universe, so there is no point in talking about anything, thinking about stuff… it’s either yes or no. And if that is a correct or incorrect response is up to the three of them to decide and judge.

You also see that depicted with Sulli’s swimming idol Kingly, when he says something in an interview, he is automatically labeled as an “asshole” and not only is that terrible in itself, but A and B also back her up in that.Oh god.

I see a lot of judgment from their camp, a lot of not wanting to comprehend other people.

3. No introspection: And the third problem is that none of the motivations come from within them. The plot can be used as a tool to develop the characters, by all means, but that shouldn’t mean that they have no introspection whatsoever. I see very little thought into important questions: who am I? What do I want? Where do I go? What does that mean?

They only think about the things happening around them and the things that others say and do. There is no real thought about themselves. Also a point of immaturity and selfishness.

I think it is very ironic that the people who proclaim to be the “nice” and morally right characters and also the most selfish, self centered and narcissistic of them all.

I am glad that their books are over, and I have high hope for Luna and Paul. May their characters be able to grow and learn and hurt and feel and forgive and regret as much as necessary. Sulli, Banks and Akara didn’t have that chance and will forever be flat and forgettable.

We’re not letting anyone get to us. They won’t break us apart. They won’t hurt us. They won’t win.

The conclusion to the Sulli/Banks/Akara story did not disappoint! In fact, I think it was the best of the Kitsulletti books. I loved that so much of it took place around the Olympics. I thought that was so cool!

Sulli has had a lot of growth since the first book of her trilogy. I don’t want to spoil things, but this book had me in tears more than once. I loved getting more Sulli, but I also really really loved the friendship between Banks and Akara and getting their perspectives was everything.

When it comes to the Like Us group, Banks is one of my favorite characters. Aside from Xander Hale, I think he’s my top fave. Krista and Becca have given us such a gift with writing about these families that we love so dearly. I will forever and always be Team Hale, so the fact that Luna’s story is next has me so excited! I enjoyed this one so much and even though I was a bit apprehensive to read Sulli’s stories, I’m so glad I did!

I'm going to start by saying before her books Sulli was my favorite girl and I was so existed for her books. Personally I didn't care about her ships or that was poly I wanted more of her, but I also know what KBR did to kitsulli stans.
Yes it's their series but also no one can deny how much spite they have towards them, readers who hyped up Sullivan books since forever. In way her whole series is just KBR throwing jabs at them in writing. Whole social media aspect of books is done so poorly, now it is canon that "trolls" are people that ship kitsulli and Sullivan hates them like come on give up already it's unwanted.
Moving on this definitely worst Sulli book. She is now almost Maximoff level annoying. Saying that maybe she believes Charlie has heart, like how she saw so many times how he helped others, she literally doesn't know him I wanted to dnf right there. Then there is her all over again keeping secrets for everyone, lesson never learn.
Now on Akara and Banks: bland and blander I sometimes I had go back to see whose pov I was reading because they think and feel same at same time ...and they hate Charlie. Well I hate them too hopefully we don't see them at all in this series or any other series.
All scenes with them as poly are boring, KBR don't write another poly especially for Beckett I just know Joana is going to be baby maker while they focus on fetishizing mlm.
Don't ask me about plot because it doesn't exist, core six get crumbs I wouldn't call it even that but even there they make mad. Ryke calling them sons now that is comedy, he would never.
Rest of characters: Thatcher had moment when I didn't found him annoying then he ruined it, Jane is still Maximoff cheerleader, I literally couldn't care less about Luna and Donnelly and their you smell like weed / I am weed books but I will read them for Cobalts.
So I liked few things: Cobalt boys scene especially one with Eliot and Charlie and possible romance Eliot will have with rival family. Jesse and Winona friends to lovers slow burn romance is actually cute.
Frog was so adorable I'm glad she is getting hottest bodyguard Quinn.

Overall way too long and 3 more books and no more bodyguard romance, it is about time.

OMG I can’t believe Sullivan’s trilogy is finally over! I’m so relieved! Let’s be honest, the only positive thing about this triad was a good representation of a poly relationship. No chemistry between the main characters,no sparks,no strong plot twist and yeah a lot of us were questioning how Krista and Becca’s writing keep getting worse with each book.I’m gonna be honest the whole trilogy for Sullivan was unnecessary but this book was actually more well-developed than the other 2 books for this triad and I’m actually really proud of KB for not writing another train wreck.I actually have high hopes for Luna and Donney’s books now.
Another thing that I enjoyed was the Olympics moments which were so unique and had me turning pages to see what happens!
If you want to read the book for other characters crumbs I’ll just give you a run down!
-Jane and Thatcher had a baby girl.
-Moffy and Farrow had a baby girl.
-One Luna and Donnely scene but nothing serious was revealed.
-Eliot’s potential love interest was revealed: WINNIFRED ROCHESTER
-More Winona and Jesse vibes.
-Nothing about The Core 6

Absolutely fucking loved!!! I fell deeply in love with this awesome triad. I don't know how people can hate on this wonderful polyamorous relationship.

Banks, Akara and Sully have definitely earned a spot in my top 5 read list for this year!!

Now keep them coming please ladies... Can't wait to read Donnelly's story.

“I was always afraid of our kids being damaged like us, but I never imagined any of you would be infamous like us.” But here I am.

✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧

So if you know me you know that I’m absolutely obsessed with this series and as such, am never able to write a review that makes sense, so I’m ditching the usual format and just am just gonna talk about some things that I loved and wanted more of/didn’t like.

Because of this weird format I’m gonna be talking about spoilers details, so Warning: Spoilers!

⇢Loved

- THAT EPILOGUE it was so cute. The names Seven and Blue are….interesting but the rest was adorable. It made me so sad/nostalgic to see the lines “Grammie Daisy, Grampie Rykie” ahhh.
- FROG!!! I loved how we got to meet a lot of new characters and I’m already obsessed with Frog. I'm so ready for quinnfrog
- Sulli saying she’ll raise her kid like Lily !!!! real!!!
- God every Lunnelly scene was perfection I don’t think any of y’all understand how badly I NEED their book.
- WINNIE & ELLIOT UAK

He’s mid-pound on the bathroom door when Donnelly calls out, “Luna, you in there?”
“Donnelly?” Luna sounds hopeful.

- The fact that it wasn’t super important who the bio father of the baby was. It was only revealed in the epilogue and that made me so glad. (Speaking of: I LOVE THE FACT THAT SHE HAD TWO MEADOWS BOYS AFTER THE TWO MEADOWS GIRLS kinda scared for Winona now though because heaven knows KBR like causing us pain and if Sulli didn’t have issues giving birth maybe Nona will.)
- THE JESSEWINONA CRUMBS.

Jesse’s shaggy hair sways as he nods. “Yeah, yeah, of course. Does, uh, Winona know?” He waits for the answer with bated breath.

⇢Wanted More Of/Didn’t Like

- MORE MILLIE KAY I know that there was no reason for her to be close to Sulli but I actually really liked her.
- MORE SULLI AND BECKETT they’re such good friends but we literally rarely got to see them interact throughout all 3 books :(
- I’m sorry but there was NO need for Akara’s mom to be killed off. Her death was irrelevant and rushed and seemed like it was just added for dramatic effect. NO NEED. I get why they had the Thatcher situation because it actually had a purpose but Akara’s mom dying helped NO ONE.
- One more thing I didn’t love: the unnecessary amount of drama. Idk why they felt the need to make it THAT dramatic but it got a little too extreme at times, to the point of feeling unrealistic.

NOW because some of y'all are super intense about KBR changing Kitsulli to Kitsulletti, let me just say this. Do I think they were wrong to tell readers one thing and change the couple so suddenly? Absolutely. I don’t agree with every decision made by the authors but giving every book 1 star because you’re still angry is just not something that I’m gonna participate in LOL.

ALSO one more controversy to discuss, the pregnancy trope. ONCE AGAIN, I get that y’all wanted pregnancy trope to be Luna’s and that’s fine. Did I want Sulli to get pregnant? 100% NO. I was pretty… not happy when I learned about it. But what can I do if that’s what the authors decide to write? Plus, I’m not mad that Luna won’t have the trope because I think that would suck based on everything she’s going through ngl. Basically, I think that any and all pregnancy tropes should have been avoided altogether, but can’t do anything now. Oh well.

So I've read the book...Well, skimmed it tbh.

It's "super duper fudging" stupid.

How old is Sulli again? She sounds 15 years old.

What happened to KBR ? They used to write good romance.

Even Charlie couldn't save this book for me.

I'm annoyed.

1.5 "kitsulleti should thank their lucky stars that the other characters in this series exist" stars

-10,000,000.75 stars for the baby factory this series has become

Warning: I need to find another word for cheese. Sorry in advance!

Oh how the mighty have fallen. I never thought the day would come but here it is - the first time in KBR history that I did not pull a midnight release all-nighter and it does not feel good, folks. Yes, I started reading at midnight but I had to call it quits a few chapters in so that I could rest my eyes from all of the rolling. The final Kitsulleti installment (Is it really, though? We all know how the twins love to lie.) is the cringiest piece of shlock KBR has published to date. I thought that they had course corrected the series after hitting the cheeseberg with Headstrong Like Us and Charming Like Us but I am dumb and should have known that KBR just cannot resist the lure of the cheese. What happened to them? They used to be great. They have lost this series and all the goodwill from the core six series (+ Garrison and Willow) because of their need for and lazy reliance on cheese. Case in point, why is everyone pregnant?! At the same damn time?! I guess who cares about character development when the ladies could just pop out a bunch of babies, right? Truly lazy and uninspired.

To make matters worse, Kitsulleti is not giving what KBR thinks it is giving in this book. (And I didn't mind the previous two Kitsulleti books!) Anything involving Sullivan, Akara, and Banks as a romantic triad was bland, boring, repetitive, and read like over the top cheesy fanfic. Absolute garbage. The only reason any stars have been awarded here is because of the dynamics with and between the other characters. If only we could ignore the Kitsulleti moments and focus on the saving graces of this 10th book in the series because the main relationship ain't it! In no particular order, Kitsulleti owes a debt of gratitude to the following relationships and characters: the Cobalts (I lied, the Cobalts are always #1); Akara and Thatcher; Banks and his dad; Akara and his mom; FROG; the Yale boys (Donnelly breaks my heart); Ripley and his picture book; Quinn; Loren freaking Hale; Lily, who was far too generous to "self-centered-the worst member of the HMC-I'm not like other girls" Sullivan; FROG; Jesse; Ryke with Daisy and his daughters but not Ryke with that out of character cheesy ass "son" nonsense; Dean and Kingly; Gabe; and, yes, one more time for FROG.

TL;DR: There were some good moments but not enough to keep this book from the garbage pile. At this point, the HMC-SFO universe is running on fumes and empty promises of Lunnelly goodness (we have been waiting forever!) and Charlie Cobalt (we have been waiting forever and ever!). I am tired! And seriously considering canceling my preorder of Misfits Like Us. KBR has lost the trust and auto buy status. Too bad, so sad.

no the book isn't out yet, but it doesn't matter bc i won't be reading it anyway.

imagine calling kitsulli shippers "haters" when kitsulli (and only kitsulli) had been confirmed since the start of the series. and their books kept getting pushed back because "they needed to find the right voice" and "the characters need to grow before we can get to their love story", but in reality it was to give marrow more space and add in highveira, who should've just been a novella bc they don't fit the whole "like us" thing considering they're not children of the original addicted characters. only for a couple books before their story is FINALLY supposed to come it's, "oh yeah, it's kitsulletti now." and then kitsulli shippers are bullied and gaslit ("we've been setting banksulli up for a while" and then you go back to find where and they have one super obscure scene in this one book, but no other interactions anywhere else, so that scene doesn't say a damn thing about anything) when we, rightfully, cry outrage. then the book comes out and a several year relationship is written like it didn't exist at all, like somehow akara is the intruder, and kitsulli shippers are openly mocked by the authors in book.

yeah, imagine being called a hater. imagine wondering why so many people hate the authors and these books.

and you can argue, "well, it's their book. they can do what they want." i pray you never become an author. ever. you can't confirm something, market it for years, and then say nevermind.

to put into perspective (although i really shouldn't have to and it's not like it's going to matter anyway because some people lack comprehension and compassion), lunnelly *gags* comes out in 2022. a majority of y'all are only reading kitsulletti to get to them. imagine if kbr came in and said... um actually, we're pushing luna's book back to late 2022 or early 2023. oh, and she's not going to be with donnelly anymore. and when you complain and bring out the receipts why that makes no sense because they've already built them up, they tell you, actually this one scene she had with this one background dude in book 3 is where we started setting those two up, donnelly is just collateral in luna figuring out who she is. and then you get bullied off all their platforms because you're the bully for criticizing them, for not liking the books, whatever and all kbr has to say is "spread love, not hate *sparkles* *glitter* *fairy dust* *hearts*".

would you still be crying hater then?

“i was always afraid of our kids being damaged like us, but i never imagined any of you would be infamous like us.”

i'm finally DONE with sullivan's books and i'm so happy. it was the worst torture and the worst reading experience ever. in this book was a minimum the side characters' content and everything was revolved around sulli and her worries about the pregnancy. she was whiny as fuck and if the first two books i could bear this shit, then in this one it was impossible to ignore. and this book is 600 pages-long. krb i sue u for this shit istg.

➳ basically, thatcher, jane and charlie became sulli's top three enemies. this bitch ignored jane the whole book and at the end was like "yeah apparently i shouldn't have acted that way" omg really? no one ever would thought that u doing something wrong wdym??😊😊🥺 sullivan was literally running away from jane and from all the people she had 'problems' with, and i was screaming when charlie called out her about it and said that she's a coward. because she fucking is. thank u very much, charlie babe💕💕he said what everyone wanted. and the thing she said about ben..??😶

"ben probably fits in better with my family, the meadows, than with the cobalts anyway, and he’s my sister’s best friend.”

what the fuck does that mean? everybody knows like ben always felt like he’s very diffrent from his family and he’s not fitting in, and sulli fucking do this? i know she didn’t say it out loud, but it still pissed me off very much. honestly, everything she did throughout all three books was pissing me off, so there’s nothing new✋🏼😔

➳ this book had some of lilo and i was literally sobbing because of how much i miss them😞😞.

"akara, don’t work yourself to death. the people you love will remind you of that more than i can. lily always does for me."

ahw i love lilo💝💝

➳ now about important stuff.
we had some of potential couples content and i really like already formed couples that we have atm.
- jessewinona. the little moments they had were so cute i was kicking the air. jesse is so cute💟
- beckettjoane. these fuckers have so good banter and so much potential. if krb will waste it..😐. i heard krb wanted to make another poly relationship with leo, joane and beckett, but oh my god i will not bear this shit. pls, krb, no more poly relationship. i don’t want to read these horrible representations anymore.
- eliotwinnifred. actually they haven't even talk to each other, but god i love the energy they have<33

➳ and of course now we need a minute of appreciation of the almost canon couple, lunnelly💓💘💗💞💝💕

“if anyone might know what’s going on with luna, it’s donnelly.””

ofc who else if not him??😤😤 my best babies

she pops up from her beanbag and spreads her arms up and legs out like she’s making a giant x with her body. barley barricading the wide hall.
donnelly tries to side-step and she bounces in front of him. still in x formation.
he goes to the left. she bounces to the left.
donnelly comes to a halt in front of luna. they’re both staring at one another for a long beat.
“hale,” he says.
“donnelly,” she replies.

AAAAAAAAAA they’re not even have a book yet, but they’re already own my heart and i love them more than any couple in this goddamn fucking ass series☹️💝. if krb fuck up lunnelly's books, i will go fucking feral and never open any of their books again.

Trash, absolutely garbage. The ability kbr has to write a book so bad truly surprised me. Not to mention they lied about lunelly crumbs.

Also a psa to the twins, not everyone needs to have a baby at the same time, you don’t need pregnancy trope just because you have run out of ideas

I’m gonna up this to 1.5 stars just for the Ryke content I got, the scene where they tell raisy that sulli is pregnant was the best scene of the book

I will forever stand by the fact that Kitsulletti did not need a 3 book series and that Jane/Thatcher deserved better.

The first 60% of this book was so hard to get into, and I skimmed through a large majority of it (especially when they went back in the past). The last 15% of this book was the best (and only good) part in my opinion.... Did I cry? YES OK, YES I DID. But, I cried not because of Kitsulletti, but because of how proud I was of Ryke/Daisy and the accomplishments of the child they raised. Does that even make sense????

I read this book mostly to stay caught up on what was happening with the rest of the family. AND UMMMM the fact that we got three NEW pregnancy announcements within 75 pages of this book was absolutely INSANE??? What drugs were KBR on when they wrote this book. Holy hell 🤯

(One last thing: If KBR ever refer to Lily as "gangly" ever again, my lawyers will be called 🤺🤺)

It's 23:27 and I just finished this book.

I couldn't stop reading even when I was on Zoom class.

I don't know what to say, this was everything I love about K.B. Ritchie's books.

Full of family, friendship and soul-chrushing love.

I wish Fearless Like Us was half as good as this book, then maybe Kitsulletti wouldn't have had this many haters.

Also, I loved Frog's sense of humour. And Kinney is currently 16 to Frog's 18. In a couple years I can totally see them together, I think they would be perfect together.

I honestly skimmed through this book because I felt like the first two books already did kitsulletti justice and this third book is very unnecessary.
The characters became more annoying in this book and I was just rolling my eyes throughout. I pushed through this book because I want to be able to continue with Luna and Donelly’s story

4.5 ⭐'s

Well, what can I say about these three? It hasn't always been great but it's always been good. I think I would have a hard time choosing between Akara and Banks too!

One thing I'm not a fan of is all the paparazzi/fan page time. I've mentioned it in several reviews but I think this one is the most in your face. I just don't see the draw.

As always, there is a lot on interaction with family members. I loved all the scenes with Ryke and Loren. However, there was one unforgivable scene. Don't get me wrong, I loved all the emotions but I felt it was a tad sensationalized.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I'm a little on the fence for Luna and Donnelly but there were a few things mentioned that has me more curious. Misfits Like Us is coming out in 2022.

Okay there are so many things I disliked about this so here's a list:

1) The writing is so poor!!! Why do the characters sound like they are 15 years old??? Plus they repeated some words so much it drove me crazy. I don't remember the Calloway sisters books being like this but it makes me scared to reread them

2) Let's talk how this is super dramatic like what was the reason people tried to kill her 479708 times??? It's just like not relevant at all. I don't buy that so it made me cringe.

3) I hated they gave her the unexpected pregnancy trope. They could have explored so much more of her :((

4) The same problem with the other books: WHERE IS THE FAMILY????? We want family moments!!!!!!!!!!! Is it so much to ask huh?

5) Deny it all you want but they made a Sulli x Banks relationship. She has no quality time with Akara. And the time they do spend together is "but Banks isn't here". If they mentioned that one more time I would have thrown my kindle at the wall.

6) There were 3 books and they decided to make all the relationships right in a few chapters in this one?? No thanks.

7) I was not a fan of those flashbacks.

I will say tho that one chapter had me on a chokehold because I love Daisy and Ryke so much ugh.

Well, long story short, I managed to finish this book and I'm disappointed because this was not at all what I expected Sulli's story to be like and I've been waiting years for this (and let's not mention the kitsulli stunt they pulled). I wish I didn't care about this characters so I didn't have to stick around to read more of kb's books :/
