What do ice cream and Sadie Montgomery have in common? They're both ice cold, but one taste is never enough.

I wanted to be friends — I would have even settled for her seeing me as anything but a nerd — but there was no getting through. So just like any hard-headed, red-blooded man out there, I made up my mind.

I’d make my coworker fall for me.

I’d like to say it was simple, but like every other epic love story, all it took was one drunken night and a lot of naked courage to get the girl. For a moment, at least.

Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie’s trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won’t leave her alone. But I’ve never been good at giving up, and I don’t plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

➳Comedic, romantic, sweet, and full of passionated chemistry and attraction, Meghan Quinn delivers a new story that has you turning each page over and over wanting to devour more of the charismatic love story of Andrew and Sadie…

➳With a head full of mixed innocence, and full of happiness and charisma, Andrew captivates the reader instantly. Being a quirky, hot, and absolutely smart nerd who is also clumsy but intellectual in other areas of expertise. While Saddie, a college drop out due to reasons that have made her doubt a future relationship with anyone, a past that still haunts her every single day, is the polar opposite to what Andrew is. Being co-workers at Friendly’s, Saddie has to teach Andrew the ropes around the area. Going from disliking each other from a bleach accident, to spending time together inside and outside of work with laughs and aspiration, Saddie and Andrew are the cutest couple I have read in a long time. Their love for the Yankees, but mostly baseball in general, is something unique because they are truly passionate about it. You can definitely tell the love Meghan has for baseball as well…

➳Trying to move past her history, Saddie has trouble letting Andrew in to tear her walls that protect her apart. What has brought pain and a toxic mental state to her, has become a challenge for Andrew to get rid of and teach her that loving and caring for someone once again, even through the pain of the past, is possible and welcoming. Their ups and downs throughout the story is something to actually look forward to since Meghan has added a great balance of drama and passion. Andrew’s charisma is what swoons you instantly. His capability to draw Saddie with either a good or bad attribute is just absolutely adorable! Their chemistry is also something that needs to be looked for. They are not just only emotionally compatible, but physically, they make me want go find me a nerd hottie of my own!

➳Overall, I enjoyed this story much more than what I was expecting. Being added to my favorites list, Meghan Quinn has out-done it again. I hope that we get more of this type of writing that not only entertains you, but also boosts your spirit with a laugh that is needed for all of us!

I loved this story!! LOVED IT!!

I haven't read many stories that make a hero out of a nerd, but Meghan Quinn has me desperate for more heroes just like Andrew. His character was phenomenal and, in all honesty, he's the reason for all five stars!!
"He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don't let men like him slip through your fingers."

Andrew was that and so much more. He was kind and considerate, sweet and loyal, compassionate and understanding, obviously a bit of a geek, but he was also hot, sexy, dominant, funny and swoon-worthy. And let's not forget he was in possession of a cannon cock .

Sadie had lived through some hard knocks and her reluctance to trust or invite people into her life was understandable (to a point). Did it grate on my nerves? Yup. I couldn't stand how she treated the lovable Andrew. Did I want her to be more transparent? Honest and open? REAL??? Of course. Andrew deserved everything good and I loved reading about how his patience slowly won Sadie over. I kinda wish she wasn't such a tough nut to crack because it took away from her overall effect on me. I could barely tolerate her but I guess that's just how their story had to be written.

If I were to pinpoint a part I didn't like, it comes down to the one line of the story that I found repugnant.
"Maybe you should have thought of my potential before you decided to impregnate me."

It implied that the man alone was responsible for contraception and I personally disagree with that notion wholeheartedly. Not when we live in an age where we as women have control over our bodies (at least in North America) and can protect ourselves.

Regardless, I gave this story five stars. Obviously what irked me wasn't enough to detract from my overall love for this book. Or maybe Andrew was just that awesome! Did I already mention his huge heart? Or the fact that he was hilarious? With lines such as:
"Oh hey, what do you know, my balls shriveled right up into a little labia."

I lost count of my laugh-out-loud moments, whether from the situations, the banter, or the inner monologues.

This story had an amazing plot, a fantastic hero, and was a little light on character development. Nothing too deep here. I adored the side characters and I couldn't help but want to learn more about them, especially Emma and Tucker. Shoot, how did I forget how much my heart hurt for poor Tucker? He was swoon-worthy in his own right with a massive heart to go along with his awesomeness. I'd love for him to get a happy ending too. Maybe with Emma *hint* I'm just sayin'. Thank you Meghan for such a beautifully funny and endearing story and I'm excited for what you'll create for us next!!

I am officially WRECKED over this beautiful piece of art called Co-Wrecker! GAHD! Meghan Quinn did it again and this time lordy, I can never look at ice cream the same way again. She nailed it! It is thumbs up one of the best romcoms I have ever read and made me want to go seek a NERD HOTTIE!!!
"He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don't let men like him slip through your fingers."

YASS! The hero of this book is a nerd yet hot piece of a man that had me drooling with every turn of the pages. I am not into nerds but this book changed that. I am loving Andrew so much the moment I met him, what with his inasane-ish family, his glasses and tight ass. And of course, his nerd yet dirty and filthy ways. Yes, he's HOT AF! Oops! I'm not done yet, this man is all sorts of swoon worthy. Like I wanna marry this man kind and parade him all over the world. Forgive my ramblings towards my love for the hero. You cannot blame me though, his character is just something I needed a BFF should be. In as much as I want an alpha, bossy, jerk and AH man, because we'll I admit, those were to die for. But Lord, Andrew...and I mean my Adrew, this nerd hottie consumed me! I cannot even blame poor Sadie when he falls for him.
Everything about this woman is hard as nails but it’s as if when she’s with me, in this little comfort cocoon we formed, she’s soft, sweet, and playful.

Now, she's another story, she's a witty and sassy woman yet behind it lies a baggage that really touched me in all sorts of ways. She's ice cold, not trusting except for those friends she's been with for forever. But I love her, I was really rooting for her. Her and Andrew together is just perfect. You just do not know how I was laughing out loud with their hilarity but at the same time swooning over their sweetness and cheesiness. Add up how how hot and dirty they can be and I was a goner. I know you will too, These characters are impossible to resist. Their love story is something you know you wanted to bloom and grow towards HEA.

Overall, I love this book so much. I was laughing so loud reading it I got a shush from workmates and angry stares from the others. I am not just into the leads you know, I was rooting for the whole gang. All have great impacts to this book. Each has their own places and I was loving how Meghan covered all these bases. Seriously, this is a great book. With Meghan's excellent writing style and my penchant for all things, hot, sexy and funny, this book is in my favorites list. But no mistake, with all the laughter I have with this book. I have never thought at some point tears will just stream down my face. I was really touched and to be honest I did not expect it. And this is one of the reason why I am so excited and eager to read Meghan Quinn's work. You may laugh your heart out, turned on with the scorching scenes, fall in love in the end. But know, that behind all of these, lies a story with depth and substance. One that will leave you a warm heart and smile so wide. Because Co-Wrecker? It is more than just a co-worker romance. It is EVERYTHING you never thought it would be.

*****FIVE CANNON COCK & STURDY TITS STARS*****
{ARC Generously Provided by Author}

When did he become so ingrained in my life? Essential. When did he matter so much to me? When did this become more that a fling to me? Because I can’t remember; it’s like it sneak attacked me, leaving me no other option than to feel like utter crap when it fell apart.

 photo Baseball_zpsos39vtk2.jpg

When I started reading this story, I had some reservations. Once the main characters are introduced and I realized this was an NA romance between two co-workers who work at a Friendly’s restaurant in upstate New York, I immediately was preparing myself for the impending disappointment that lay ahead of me. Yet another two to three days of wasted time reading a book that was utterly boring. To my shocking surprise and delight, I really ended up LOVING this book!! It was not only ROMCOM at its best but it also had depth and heart to it as well. It was the perfect gift to this reader who loves a good laugh combined with a hefty dose of steam and some gut-wrenching angst to complete this wonderful package. I now understand why I have seen praise over Meghan Quinn’s other books and I am definitely going to be reading more by this talented author!

In the majority of RomComs, the Heroine is usually the funny and socially inept character. It was refreshing to have the roles reversed in ”CO-WRECKER”. Andrew ‘aka’ CANNON COCK is incredibly intelligent and adorably nerdy, but he’s got the body and the looks of a male model. He 100% made this book for me! From the moment he stumbled and face-planted into Sadie’s chest and labeled it her sturdy bosom, I was a goner for him! Somehow he made being geeky and silly, mouth-wateringly sexy. So many things that he said had my belly aching from laughing so hard. I really did lose count over how many times I caught myself laughing out loud. And holy hell did he have some amazing sexual skills!! He also had a way with words. Andrew often says things to Sadie that would make any woman melt into a puddle of swooniness!

Sadie was a hard character for me to like throughout most of the story. I really do feel like Andrew was the bright shining star and there was just no way for her to measure up to him and actually that is how she feels for about 90% of this book. She hasn’t had an idyllic life. Her mother abandoned her family when she was a young girl and life had dealt her another crushing disappointment in her most recent past. Sadie has not been able to move on and tries to wallow in self-pity by dropping out of college and hanging out with her childhood friends for the entire summer. Once she meets and gets to know Andrew, she starts to find some happiness that she was certain would never appear in her life again. Sadie clings to this newfound relationship with the man who makes her feel alive once more and who has no connections to her painful past.

 photo IMG_3682_zpswfrik6m1.jpg

She lets Andrew know that what they have going is all fun and sexual, there is no potential for anything deeper between them. But honestly, who is she fooling? Each day they spend together, feelings are slowly intensifying for the both of them. Andrew opens himself up to Sadie. He holds nothing back from her, but she is like a book filled with blank pages. Sadie doesn’t give up much about herself to Andrew and eventually, it starts to deeply discourage him. Andrew wants Sadie to open up and let him into her heart. What’s ironic is she has also managed to fall deeply in love with him too but her fear of not being good enough for him, keeps her from telling him all of the truths she has withheld since they started dating.

This book was just what I needed after a long and stressful week. Not only was it hysterically funny and immensely entertaining, it even had a really powerful message. You can’t rely on anyone else but yourself to make your life better. You define the person that you are. It is a lesson that some people are lucky to learn early in life and for some of us it takes many decades but I say it’s better late than never!

CO-WRECKER is currently available and I highly recommend it!

One scoop of humor. A double scoop of chemistry. One scoop of awkwardness. A triple scoop of romance with a whole heaping of sex sprinkles. And of course, the creme de la creme with the cherry on top is the fact that hero is a HOT NERD!!!! Yes, that’s right my fellow romantic comedy readers, Meghan Quinn has served up one sweet, sexy, delectable and oh so titillating love story that will have you salivating for more of Andrew “The Hot Nerd.” So are you ready to take a lick of this hot sexy romantic comedy?

photo 64cba56ae0772b9032fe227b8b7b95_zpsida2hgt1.gif How is it possible that one of Andrew’s smiles can make me feel a little more at ease? Is it those kind, sweet eyes of his? Or the way he seems to understand what I need at the moment ”

Meghan Quinn is hands down my go-to author when it comes to smart, witty, and off the wall romantic comedies. Seriously, I love all her books and for her to write about a HOT NERD, y’all know that I will be devouring this book instantly. Anyways, Andrew “The Hot Nerd” is working his first real job where he will be scooping up ice cream. Serving up ice cream should be no problem except the fact that he was totally awkward and weird when he tried to be friends with Sadie Montgomery. So will Andrew’s sweet, charming, and adorable nerdy personality be able to break Sadie’s hard exterior and win her heart?

#Co_Wrecker

Meghan Quinn has definitely me drooling and wanting to take a lick of Andrew. I loved everything about this book. It was funny, sexy, and had that vulnerable aspect that will tug your emotions. The chemistry between Sadie and Andrew was explosive hot. So all there is left to say is go read this book. Fall in love with Sadie and Andrew. And of course, be sure to keep Meghan Quinn on your book radar.

When Andrew started his job at a local ice cream parlor, he never thought Sadie Montgomery would become the love of his life. Literally, he never believed it could be possible because not only did Sadie want nothing to do with him, but she was colder than the ice cream when it came to being "friendly."

Andrew didn't see Sadie's reluctance as a challenge, more of a "Hey, I'm a nice guy, what's your problem?" This isn't a book about a conquest, a challenge the man gets turned on by. No, this is a story that escalates from a lot of drunken courage and a good dry humping session.

Friction ensues, arousal happens, and the ice cream thaws . . . at least for a brief amount of time.

Co-Wrecker is laugh out loud hilarious, swoon worthy, HOT, and will make your heart pitter patter with each turn of the page.

Sometimes the hot nerd really does get the girl. <3

Review at Of Pens and Pages.

I am in love with the hero! I love an alpha as much as the next girl does, but there’s just something about an adorable, sweet, nerdy guy like Andrew that makes me grin and swoon.

Andrew moves to a new university after an ordeal at his old school. His dad wants him to take a break and stay at home, but Andrew wants to get it over with and finish his degree. The move was a little last minute, so his room isn’t the biggest (and he’s going to live with European girls from the women’s basketball team), but it’s not all bad. He’s got a new job for the summer working at Friendly’s as a fountain boy.

Sadie’s been working long enough at Friendly’s to move past working over the fountain, but when Gus hires a new guy, she’s left to train him. Sure he’s a looker, but his cheerful personality and his ability to put his foot in his mouth annoyed her… at first. Soon, she finds herself smiling because of him.

Andrew wants to be friends. Even more. Definitely even more. But with secrets Sadie wants to keep as secrets, it will be hard to open up to the man who’s made her feel happier than she’s been in a long time.

It’s interesting to see a bit of reversal in the personalities of the MCs compared to the ones I usually read. With most of the books I’ve read, especially New Adult novels, it’s usually the guy with the heavy past, and it’s the woman who helps him move past it.

Andrew is a bit of a nerd/geek but is very charming. Think Charles Bingley or Peeta Mellark a la Josh Hutcherson. He loves to study, has a box of calculators, has a life-size cutout of Derek Jeter, and he reminded me a little of a happy-go-lucky golden retriever. A guy who easily gets along with everyone. Meanwhile, Sadie is closed off and doesn’t trust easily. She has the people who know her and they’re the people she trusts; she doesn’t care to open up to anyone else. Her experiences in the past have left her a little jaded and guarded, and it took a while for her to warm up to Andrew.

I have my people. Anyone else in the mix will just throw my life into a tailspin.”

I wasn’t too much of a fan of Sadie’s pity party and her decisions to keep things from Andrew until it was too late. As much I disliked her decisions, I do understand the feeling of being lost, of being in her early twenties and having no clue what to do with her future. Sadie kept on acting like she’s alone or like no one’s there for her, but the truth is, she has an amazing support system. She may not have that with her family, but she’s got friends who’ve been there through thick and thin and who would want her to stand up and dust herself off.

Even Tucker, her ex-boyfriend. I really like how he was portrayed because although he isn’t right for Sadie, the author didn’t turn him into a bad guy; or at least an antithesis of Andrew. True, he’s more serious and has a bit more “bad boy” than Andrew’s adorable “boy next door” personality, but he cares for Sadie and is actually a pretty decent guy. My heart melted for this guy in a heartwarming moment between him and Sadie. I hope he finds happiness, too! I’d read the sh*t out of that book.

Despite my reservations with Sadie, I still cheered for her. I was so happy when her best friend, Samantha a.k.a. Smilly, gave her the talking to that was overdue. Plus, her chemistry with Andrew is so tangible, and ugh they’re so sweet together. It was easy to see they were compatible and good for each other.

After their ordeal, I think I fell in love with Andrew even more. Seriously. He’s the type of man I’ll easily fall in love with in real life. He can be a little corny at times and can get enthusiastic over the things he loves (like baseball and gnocchi), but can get down and dirty in bed. He’s sweet, funny, and oh so thoughtful. I love this man!

Co-Wrecker is a new adult contemporary romance told in alternating POVs. It has its fair share of pain and angst, but is sprinkled with humor, swoon-worthy moments, and downright sweltering heat. This hero will make you laugh and giggle and ugh the feels this man has given me. It’s a lot.

I have become a big fan of Meghan Quinn. She writes original works with a type of "Special Sauce" to them. She can take every day people who have experienced things that can happen...hard things or really uncomfortable things, whip them all together and make a story which will have you rooting for all the characters to have their moments and be happy.

In this latest book, we have a woman who is lost. She thought her life was going to be focused and with purpose. She was always at the top of her class. She got into Cornell and was on her way.
But then life gave her another one of those ugly hurdles to over come... the kind that can rip your soul and scar you....and if you never really come to terms with all that happened... it can be easier to hide and pretend things are ok... To shrink your circle of friends and life...until you only are dealing with an easy job and no thinking of the future.

We then get another person who is the polar opposite in attitude to our gal. This is a guy who loves Math, Engineering and calculators. His way is open and free. His humor is smart, fast and sometimes off center. He grew up in a very caring household and had all the support anyone could need. He did have his own College hurdle to overcome... dealt with it and wants to move forward and start fresh in this new area and school.

Both of these two people cross paths at the Ice Cream/ Soda Shop where our gal works. She gets roped into to training him as he will be working there for the summer.

What starts out with her being a bitchy sort of trainer.... ends up with these two becoming something very special.

There is amazing dialogue, story arcs and out and out love for what is presented on the page. I felt for our gal....but at the same time, she was not my favorite person. As strong as she was...her hiding so many things bothered me.

My love for our guy was huge... he truly was one of a kind and so good...quirky, caring and just seemed pure of heart. He also was a STUD....yup... the guy was amazing.

Meghan Quinn has written another entertaining read...with all of the "Special Sauce" goodness included.

This didn’t work for me in sooooooo many different ways. Let’s count some of them, shall we?

1. It read VERY young.

1(a). Like so young when they mentioned being at a keg party I thought someone should call their parents and narc them out for underage drinking.

1(a)(i). And speaking of the drinking – just STAHP with pretending that drinking yard beers like PBR is cool. God invented PBR so poor people like me could still be alcoholics. Making shitty beer trendy doesn’t make it taste less shitty, it just makes everyone have to pay more . . . . .

1(b). Like so young the two characters worked at a fucking Freddy’s. Or some other name, but basically the same thing as a Freddy’s.

2. They were both insufferable superfans of the Yankees . . . . .

3. She sat in the MIDDLE of the bench seat in his truck rather than on her own side by the window . . . .

4. The soundtrack featured songs like “Standing Outside the Fire” . . . .

Double Ew. Garth Brooks is getting ready to play seven concerts in a row here. If I hear his name one more time I might go postal.

5. Male lead supposedly looked like Ryan Reynolds. Save it. I don’t find him attractive and nothing anyone says will magically change my mind.

6. The cover with those awful photoshopped on abs made me picture Seth Rogan who is also very not attractive, buuuuuuuuuut when Andrew first started talking and I was hearing Rogan’s voice it was somehow working. It’s supposed to be a rom-com – I don’t necessarily have to want to make all the bangbang when I’m reading it.

7. Then he used terms like “coitus” which made me laugh thinking of . . . .

Until he started with the dirty talk and . . . .

8. They also said things to each other such as:

“You make me lose my fucking mind,” I whisper. Her fingers dance along my back. “You make me forget the world around us.”

‘Scuse me for a second . . . .

Okay, where was I??????

9. Drama llama. This was marketed as “hilarious.” I don’t want to hear about his lame as eff to the mothereffing k “issue” or her mother-in-prison/knocked up too young/had a miscarriage bullshit and the ex who was supposed to be “destructive” or some fresh hell but who ended up being the only person who had any sense. Oh here, let me drop off your new kitchen sink for you while we’re at it . . . .

(Just shove Momma June out of the way when you need to use it.)

10. There were tons of sexuals - which should be the whole point, I know – but there was ZERO chemistry between the two, leaving this scientist with much disappoint . . . .

11. Constant “baby” and “Sugar Britches” speak. In case you haven’t figured it out, I’m not really the term of endearment type of gal (unless we're talking about divorced women with dysfunctional relationships with their mother who are dying of cancer because that is the BEST MOVIE EVER!!!). I’d rather gouge my own eyeballs out – or more likely my spouse’s eyeballs out – than get called baby every 4.3 seconds, thank you very much.

12. It tried SO HARD. Humor/storyline/dialogue should just flow. Forced situations like Andrew (1) living with a bunch of female basketball players who (2) participate in “Topless Tuesdays” is so painfully contrived. Someone come give me a whack on the ol’ back to get my eyeballs back where they’re supposed to be. Or wait . . . is that the thing that will make them stay that way forever?

I’ve been a pretty loyal Meghan Quinn fangirl since I first discovered The Mother Road and even when a story wasn’t quite my idea of a great time, I never was completely put off and give nearly everything she writes at least 3 Stars. Sadly, Co-Wrecker is the exception. There just weren’t any redeeming qualities here. No story development, no depth, no promised hardy-har-hars, NADA. It’s also the second book this author has released in 2017 and there’s already another coming out in June. I understand bills need to be paid, but I hope Quinn slows down the pace a little in order to make sure she’s not pushing out inferior product. At least the price point of $3.99 (or free on Kindle Unlimited) along with being lendable made it worth rolling the dice. I’m still crossing my fingers My Best Friend’s Ex will be a winner.

I couldn't get into the book at all. One of the worst choices ever, for me!

First of all, it is borderline boring.
Also, events and characters are not appealing for me. Too immature for my taste...
It just isn't my cuppa :(

But it may be "me not you" situation, so I am adding a few excerpts that are supposed to make you laugh. If you enjoy the following dialogues, you can try it. I didn't.

“You can’t serve that ice-cream.”
“Why not? I’m not done yet.”
“For one you stuck your fingers in it.” I hold up said fingers and wiggle them.
“But they’re covered in plastic. Nothing creepy is getting in there.”
Leaning forward, she whispers, “You molested that ice cream.”
“What? No, I didn’t. I massaged it in to place.”
“Did it ask for a massage?” She leans back now, questioning me.
Tilting my head to the side, completely confused, I ask, “Um, does the ice cream have feelings? Because if so, I would really like to know which ones are the most sensitive so I don’t piss them off.” “Are you trying to be funny?”
“Is it not coming across that way? Have I unintentionally upset the ice cream again?” Whispering back to her, I ask, “Is it the pistachio? Is she the most sensitive?”

This was so immature for me...

***

And here is another:

What is that? My brain is full of fog, my mind not quite processing what I’m holding. Is that an orange? No, why would I be sleeping with an orange? Plus it’s way too soft to be an orange. I squeeze some more, eyes closed, trying to comprehend what the hell I’m holding on to. Wait, I feel something. Moving my palm down so my fingers can explore, I find that little nub that was poking my palm and I squeeze it between my finger and thumb. The tip of the orange? Maybe a rotten orange? It doesn’t smell citrusy . . . Needing to figure this out in my sleep-ridden brain, I give another hard squeeze only to be startled by a female cry. What the fresh hell? Sitting up, my eyes a blur because my glasses aren’t assisting me in my vision, I try to make out where the fuck I am. A girl—at least I hope a girl—sits up next to me, long blonde hair cascading down her shoulders.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

I know that voice. I reach over to the nightstand where I thankfully feel my glasses and push them on my face with my palms fumbling as Sadie’s very angry face comes into view.

“Um.” I clear my throat, choking on how dry it is. “I didn’t know I was, uh, touching you.” Shrugging I ask, “Did you like it?”

This was neither funny nor hot for me, just cringe-worthy! Orange? Really!?

***

One more and then, you get the idea!

"Are you going to bone them, Andrew?”
“Don’t say bone,” Mae says while fluffing my newly hung curtains. “Andrew is clearly not the boning type.” A smirk peeks past her mouth.
“I’ve boned!” Although, my boning is limited. Very limited. Boning lately has been with my hand, and it just doesn’t feel like boning—feels more like self-mutilation, especially when you lack lotion. And let’s be honest, spitting on your hand really doesn’t do the trick. It might for some people, but I just don’t have excess saliva to provide sufficient lubrication to avoid chafing.

Yeap, it goes on like this and I just wasn't into it at all...

“He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don't let men like him slip through your fingers.”

That was so enjoyable!! I only decided to pick this up after seeing so many good reviews of it. I was in desperate need for a good romantic comedy and this definitely did the job.

Andrew is a great male hero! I absolutely love him. He's nerdy, adorable, awkward, and hilarious. I laughed out loud at so many of the things he says and does. I mean, the book starts with him telling us he has a box full of calculators. How adorable is he?! He's also lovely, sweet, and caring and honestly, we need more heroes like him, please! Of course, he's also swoon-worthy and gorgeous!

Sadie is such an awesome heroine, she's sassy and wonderful. She has a past which she's embarrassed of and to cope, she built a wall to protect herself. Andrew slowly breaks that wall down and I love seeing him do that. Andrew and Sadie's relationship starts with Andrew being her new co-worker and she has to train him. She basically hates him at first, but Andrew is so adorable and awkward, she couldn't stay that way.

Andrew and Sadie's relationship is wonderful. Full of banter and fun! It develops gradually and realistically and their drama was understandable and realistic, too. I was so upset when the drama started because I didn't want them to be apart!

The plot is pretty simplistic, but incredibly fun! This is my first Meghan Quinn book and I would definitely consider trying her other books. If you're looking for something fun and light, I would definitely recommend this book!

:: IT'S LIVE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT ::

Release Date: March 23, 2017
Genre: Romantic Comedy

This book is EVERYTHING - the whole package - an utter delight! Every single time I pick up a book by Meghan Quinn I know I am going to be blown away in some way. This is no different when it comes to Co-Wrecker! This book is a hilarious novel about two co-workers who, at first, have a silly love/hate relationship, but suddenly become more as they get to know each other (silly quirks and all). Laced with her trademark humor and swoon worthy characters, Meghan Quinn has written a winner! This is a must read novel for fans of romantic comedies, fans of the author's work, and those who like their books to outrageously funny! Oh yea, and if you like ice cream and hot, nerdy boys too.

In addition to the humor of this book, it should be mentioned that the secondary characters and the feeling of friendship and love really emit through these pages. If I could have gone into this book (literally) I know that I would have wanted to be a part of Sadie and Smilly's group. Friendships are one of the most important relationships anyone can have and this friendship is amazing! I just really love how real the author made it feel- you can really connect with them all-

Overall, this is a fantastic read - the type of book you will want to read in one sitting - and comes very highly recommended from me!

3.5-3.75 Funny Stars

This book was my second read by this author and like the other one I really enjoyed it. It was really funny! Actually when I was reading this book, all the time I had smile on my face and at some point, I really laughed-out-loud! Andrew’s character was hilarious funny and adorable. Unlike Andrew’s character, I didn’t like Sadie’s. I disliked her insecurity. But my main problem with these books is: I really want to know more about the other guy! Nah, don’t think about it! This one isn’t a triangle romance! Tucker was a likable character. I want to know he is happy and how he finds his solace. I want to know he finds his HEA too. I had hope maybe I can read some thing about him at the epilogue but nope. And now I must be patient and wait (some thing that I’m not good at it) so Ms. Quinn writes his story! Albeit if he has a book for himself!

But all in all, I had a really good time with this book and enjoyed it. if you want a really good laugh, you should try this one! Hope you enjoy it, like me!

I liked this story. I enjoyed this story. I laughed at some of the gold moments in this story. I was entertained by all the likeable characters. I did not dislike anyone in this story. I did not have any kindle throwing moments.

Now that I have said all that; I can admit that the 2nd half and ending of this book kinda plateaued for me. Although I absolutely loved the H's personality and would never say no to a boy like him in real life; as a BBF in the book world, he was simply ok. He was kind, funny and everything you want in a sweet H. But sweet wasn't enough for me to see any all consuming love he was supposedly developing for the h, nor did he sweep me off my feet with swoony romance. I totally got why he acted the way he did during the final conflict scene, but I really had to read between the lines and have a secondary character re-explain it to me, just to capture his meaning behind it all.

Still. Was I entertained enough? Absolutely! And I would totally recommend this book to all fans of this author's humour and works.

Told in dual POV and standalone story. Has an epilogue at the with cute HFN ending. The h was pretty frustrating at times but was definitely tolerable in a non-dumbass way :)

Funny and angsty new adult romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙💚💜❤️
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍
Character development: 😟🙁🤓🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The Hero: Andrew - he is the youngest in his family and recently went through an “ordeal”, which is what his family calls it. He decided to get his life back on track and enrolled as a junior at Binghamton University in New York and is going to computer engineering school. His family doesn’t agree with his decision to go to school. He is renting a room in a six-room house with five women who are the starting lineup of the women’s basketball team. Though it was the only place he could find on short notice. He got a job at a place called Friendly’s to work through the summer until classes start in the fall.

The heroine: Sadie - she is a townie and has worked at Friendly’s for four years. She is not happy about having to always train the newbies in the fountain area. She doesn’t get tips when she is training, and trainees are the worst. She grew up in a small town with parents that she could not count on especially after her mother left the family. She has a small circle of very good friends but is scarred by her upbringing and doesn’t plan on ever having a family of her own.

The Story: Andrew is excited to have a job at Friendly’s though Sadie is less excited to be training him. Her week away from being a waitress means less tips, which really affects her bank account. Andrew sees that Sadie has a huge chip on her shoulder but keeps it cool and tries to be as nice as possible. Things go badly and they are not friends at the end of the day, especially after he falls into her bosom and says she has sturdy tits.

These two main characters each have issues of their own and they take a while to come out. The “ordeal” Andrew went through isn’t explained for a while. Sadie has her own issues with her past and she has an ex-boyfriend that still wants her, but they are toxic as a couple. I really liked the two main characters, especially Andrew. He was hilarious and genuine. Plus he had a cannon in his pants.

The one thing I didn’t like was all the secrets, though that is what the book was mainly about. Andrew wanted to really know Sadie, but she held her secrets close to her vest. She did tell him about her mother early on, which is the reason I really thought her being so quiet was silly since her mom being involved with drug dealers and being in and out of prison was a much worse secret than the ones she wouldn’t tell Andrew.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via Dual narration. It was narrated by Mia Madison and Tor Thom. Tor Thom is one of my favorite male narrators. He always does a terrific job and has a very deep voice which I really like. Mia Madison has a clear feminine voice which is youthful and nice. She sounds age appropriate and has the perfect tone for the character of Sadie.

This was okay

Normally, I love Meghan Quinn’s books. This is the first one I had a hard time loving. There were many times I giggled, got emotional, or swooned, but I got annoyed many times.

Andrew’s first job as an ice cream scooper means that he’ll be trained by Sadie, a woman that’s going through a lot and doesn’t really smile. She keeps her distance even when Andrew makes her laugh and slowly chips away at her walls. He recently transferred universities because of something that happened, and he wanted to start fresh as a junior.

Sadie just got out of a long-term relationship after miscarrying a baby and dropping out of college. Her ex, Tucker, is very much around in her life, but she needs to heal and step away from her old life. She has a hard time trusting people, which is why she seems standoffish with Andrew.

SPOILERS AHEAD
Things I liked-

-The slapstick humor that happened here and there. Sometimes I rolled my eyes, but I still smiled😂.

-There were many swoony or emotional instances. It made people become more human in my eyes.

-Andrew always found ways of making Sadie laugh. It’s rare for her to do so, so hearing her laugh was a highlight for him.

-Andrew’s assertiveness in the bedroom. He wasn’t always very alpha outside of the bedroom, but I sure 👀 when the smexxy scenes came up.

-Smexxy scenes happen pretty quickly. Their first kissing/making out scene was at around 24% and it was 🥵. I mean, sure, Andrew was half asleep but it was 🔥. Then when they go on their baseball date and go to his place, all bets are off- and smexxy times begin (37%). I love his alphaness 😅🤤🔥🥵. Annnnnd… he’s always willing to please her 😉. Plus, he’s not afraid of using props/toys.

-Their love of baseball. I’m a huuuuuge baseball fan. I appreciated this.

-Sadie’s close friendships. It’s evident she has these close relationships for a reason and it’s why she has a hard time trusting new people.

-Sadie’s ex isn’t an ahole. He was very likable, which is rare to find. He’s a good guy.

Things that annoyed me/I didn’t care for:
-Andrew’s roommate situation-he lives with 5 girls. Really? Topless Tuesdays??? 🤢🤬🙄 to clarify, his roommates have been gone since he moved in because they’re on the basketball team and it’s the summer. So when they come back, it happened to be a Tuesday. I was so grossed out, I had a hard time enjoying the rest of the book. Who the hell has this in college??? Trying to say it’s a “cultural” thing is ridiculous (they’re not American). And when Sadie goes to take him something and one of them opens the FRONT DOOR topless, she didn’t make a bigger stink about it. I’m sorry. If my boyfriend lived with women and they’re topless, I would be very bothered. Sure, she left and he went after her to explain, but instead of him being more mortified or sorry, he ends up giving up because this is her excuse to be angry at him since she’s so closed off. Yes, he talks to his roommates and they agree to do their topless Tuesdays in the privacy of their own rooms, but I was just irked out and just grossed out to care.
THIS WASN’T FUNNY TO ME

-Sadie takes too long to tell Andrew everything. He gives her so many opportunities to open up to him and she doesn’t. He opens up every opportunity he can, and she gives him crumbs instead of coming clean. I just wanted to smack her.

-Tucker, her ex, is NOT a bad guy. In fact, I couldn’t figure out why they broke up 🤷🏻‍♀️. He was very persistent, and it made me kind of want Sadie to end up with him😅. I like when the H goes after the h, and Tucker tries throughout the entire book. I almost found myself rooting for him 😬🙈, ESPECIALLY when he shows her what he ended up doing when he found out she was pregnant. I’m glad he gets a book (it’s book 2), but I still think he’s very much in love with Sadie 😅. Not sure how book 2 will pan out.

-Sadie’s reasons to stay closed off needed to be cleared up sooner. I don’t know. I found it hard to side with her on this. Plus, I never understood why she broke things off with Tucker 🤷🏻‍♀️. He’s really a good guy.

-the other ow stuff. I’m so over the nipples/boobs thing. I found myself 🙄 and cringing a lot. On top of the damn roommate stuff😒 there’s a coworker that keeps bugging and trying to flirt with Andrew. So annoying

-there were some immature thinking/actions. Maybe the topless Tuesday just ruined the book for me so I was annoyed period lol

⚠️ safety squad ⚠️
-no cheating/sharing
-past miscarriage is remembered
-OM wants h and h agrees on a closure date with him. A friendly one. He also kisses h, a friendly kiss, towards the end of the book
-OW flirts with H at work- mentions her lipstick not rubbing off no matter how much she sucks on something 🙄. She also talks about her boobs and nipples a lot 😐 and tries brushing them on him many many times
-H lives with women. When they get home, two of them kiss his lips. He tells them he’s spoken for. They think he’s gay. There’s a time he sees them topless 🤢🤬. They’re European and it’s topless Tuesday. It makes him uncomfortable and he avoids looking but he still sees them 😑. Then they mentioned Snatch Saturdays (it doesn’t happen). So annoying and immature 🙄

NERD ALERT!!! NERD ALERT!!! NERD ALERT!!! My name is Karen and I have a new love for nerds…and it’s all Meghan Quinn’s fault! Megan Quinn MADE ME fall in love with the hottest nerd EVER in Co-Wrecker! I had Can’t Buy Me Love—that high-school nerd-meets-popular-cheerleader movie—flashbacks while reading. Co-Wrecker is flirty and fun, a romance where you can't help but laugh and love! Oh did I LAUGH and LOVE sooo hard!

Co-Wrecker claimed me from the very first page!!! The conversational style writing—so raw and real—CONSUMED ME!!! Co-Wrecker CLICKED!!! I was UTTERLY ENAMOURED with this love story of hot nerd meets brooding beauty and boss. The ice cream shop setting was super fun and brought back many memories. Meghan Quinn, you HAD ME at Friendly’s!!! BEST. SETTING. EVER!!!

Andrew starts a new summer gig at an ice cream shop where he works for a brooding beauty who trains him, giving him the scoop on everything ice cream shop worker. Andrew is not your typical nerd, he is a SMOKIN’ HOT nerd with a bangin’ body, dark hair and glasses with the tall and muscular frame that many drool over at the gym. I was drooling like dripping ice cream because Andrew is a NERD GOD!!! Add scrumptious looks to a funny, flirty, loving, dirty-talking, and possessive alpha personality and you have PURE PERFECTION!!! I LOVED Andrew more than Friendly’s!!!

Blonde and blue-eyed Sadie is Andrew’s trainer at work, a brooding beauty who captures Andrew’s attention right away. Their chemistry is COMBUSTIBLE though Sadie tries to fight that build-up between them.

Everything about this woman is hard as nails but it’s as if when she’s with me, in this little comfort cocoon we formed, she’s soft, sweet, and playful.

With a tight circle of friends she can trust with her secretive past, Andrew will have to break barriers to capture Sadie and make her his, though she can’t help but melt around this gorgeous, lovable, and naughty nerd.

I’m hot for this nerd.

Oh Meghan Quinn! I was HOT for this nerd too! I fell for the nerd who hit me hard like a cannon, and oh was Andrew ALL THAT! Andrew is endearing plus those toned biceps and muscular body don’t hurt. Sadie can’t help but be wrapped up into Andrew’s contagious bubble. Andrew’s personality is over-the-top fun and flirty, just like this story.

“You make me lose my f**king mind.” I whisper.

Her fingers dance along my back.

"You make me forget the world around us.”

Lines blur…secrets surface…the past pounds into them like thunder. Will the co-worker become the co-wrecker, wrecking this relationship before it’s really begun?

Like an ice cream sundae, Co-Wrecker is SIMPLY DELICIOUS, a romance that hits all the right spots. This story SPARKED TO LIFE!!! This book is a breath of fresh air filled, fun and flirty with a lethal dose of heat, humor, and heart. An all-alpha meets sexy nerd; a beautiful and brave heroine; combustible chemistry; witty writing; a fun setting; a raw and real-feeling plot; and a seamless storyline make Co-Wrecker one incredible love story. SO INCREDIBLY GOOD! Co-Wrecker is the perfect romance with a cherry on top!

"He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds."

This sweet and sexy story made me SWOON IN SPADES!!! Co-Wrecker wrapped itself around me and never let go! I LOVED this love story!!! Co-Wrecker OWNED EVERY OUNCE OF ME!!! I’m still consumed by Co-Wrecker, a hot nerd that wrecked me for all other nerds in a story that is still HOLDING ME. Friendly’s will never be the same.

5 'sturdy tits' cherries (because ice cream and more)

4 Something simple, but sexy and sweet STARS

“I’ve always been into three things: computers, math, and women.”

description

Pero la protagonista es todo lo contrario por lo que logran un buen equilibrio.

Una historia romántica entre dos polos opuestos, cargados de humor, helado, sarcasmo, beisbol y superación personal.

"He’s not my everything, because I don’t need him to be. I am whole and complete on my own. But I know in my heart that we’re better together. I am better with him. "

DNF somewhere around 35%. I try not to DNF since I'm obsessed with even reading the bad books. It was that cringe worthy.

It was so bloody boring, the dialogue was gag-worthy, the H was a beta tame male and annoying AF. He was all chirpy and quirky and nerdy variations of ew/ happy go lucky, "please approve and love me".

One second she's really cold to him, the next they're having sex and he tried to be dominating but it was just too rubbish to be funny.

The h had a woe is me vibe to her entire life. I.e. "My life is wrecked - wah wah wah.".

I couldn't believe I had only read 35%. It felt like forever with all the unnecessary bullshit and extra scenes.

"Moist" defined as scared, "pussy" (I don't like that term at all as an insult) or generally displeasing in the context I am referring to is a slang term perfectly suited to describe Andrew. He's displeasing to read about in so many respects. I couldn't stand him.

I don't really appreciate the college scene either. It screams frat.

And how can a guy, who is so "smart", have allowed a girl at his old college to snapchat his dick? Doesn't seem to smart to me.

5 Sturdy Bosom Crowns

OMG!! I am so in love with Co-Wrecker. I feel like I say this all the time about her books, but this might be my favorite one that I've read. The humor, the romance, the characters, the story-line, gosh, just all of it is pure perfection.

I absolutely adore Andrew! Just like Sadie, readers will be drawn to him. He is silly, warm, caring, and so open. His character is this bright light that draws a person in, and there is no point in resisting. Andrew will just wear you down, and readers won't mind succumbing to his charms.

Sadie is another great heroine, but she is a tad darker than Meghan's normal heroines, and rightfully so. I actually love this about her. She has been damaged by her past, and she has learned to protect herself, which no one can blame her for. Readers will, however, love the change in her as a result of Andrew. Readers get to experience the real Sadie underneath her brusque demeanor, and this Sadie is amazing.

I am absolutely in love with their love. Their whole journey from the very beginning will have readers laughing (No one can make me laugh out loud during a book like Meghan Quinn can!) and swooning all over these two. Their relationship is fun and light, and they both just truly love being together, being in each other's company, siphoning happiness from one another. Their whole relationship, the development, is perfect.

Meghan Quinn has done it again. She had me laughing, sighing at the wonderfulness of Andrew, and blissed out by the end of this fantastic book! Co-Wrecker, for sure, will be sitting among my top Meghan Quinn books. It is simply phenomenal, almost as good as sugar free vanilla ice cream.

Hilarious, sexy, sweet, and just plain ENTERTAINING AS HELL! I haven't laughed this hard in quite a while! Meghan Quinn brings her unique brand of quirkiness and ridiculousness to the table and knocks it out of the park with her brand new romantic comedy!

Only Meghan Quinn can take a nerd and turn him into a SEXY BEAST! CO-WRECKER will satisfy your HOT NERD FANTASIES like no other, trust me on this! NERD ALERT indeed!

An absolute HILARIOUS, yet EMOTIONAL, sexy romance that will claim your heart from the very start! CO-WRECKER has EVERYTHING you could ever want in a Meghan Quinn romance - witty banter, sexy shenanigans, insane chemistry, and a storyline that pulls on the heartstrings in every possible way. Holy yum!

description

Once again Meghan Quinn succeeded to write a hilarious freaking, awesome, laugh out loud book with two ridiculously adorable characters!

After the cannon cock scandal, Andrew had to transfer to Binghamton, find a new job, a new apartment and start over.

description

Not a bad start Man ;)

As the new fountain boy, Andrew was assigned a trainer that would teach him all the tricks of Ice Cream.

Easy, right?

description

Not with the scowling gorgeous lady that seemed to have many problems with him being her trainee.

Sadie Montgomery's last wish was to be stuck on the fountain with a new co-worker for a whole week and loose her noticeable tips and sanity given the new guy's behavior, smile and good looks.

“Oh.
My.
God.
Andrew, champion forearms, Mr. Sunshine, dork with the hot glasses, boy who won’t quite leave me alone at work, he’s . . . oh God, he’s everything under his clothes.”

Though Sadie had a tough childhood that caused her to be so unsociable and cold, and beside the disastrous and painful events that made her give up on her dreams and ambitions, she couldn’t for the life of her fight the attraction and sweetness that hit her in the form of a sexy nerd new co-worker.

Co-Wrecker is funny, light-hearted, laugh out loud book that I did really enjoy.

DNF @ 32%

What's it about?
A new adult love story about a sweet nerd with good looks and a ripped body, who falls for an icy (read: bitchy) coworker who is closed off (read: emotionally scarred).

Best bits: It truly is hilariously, laugh out loud funny.

The worst bits: Ok. So imagine a brooding, tortured asshole college-drop out, who pretty much keeps to himself and his band of loyal mates. And he meets a sweet, very chirpy, very naive bookworm of a girl who is getting her first real taste of independence. And while he tries to get over a past love affair he realises he's falling in love with our ingenue instead. Got it? Its the usual bad boy meets good girl, yeah? Ok so now SWAP THE ROLES. Let the bad boy become a tainted heroine and the hero of the piece embodies the chirpy, enthusiastic, born-again joiner. And you'll have a pretty good grasp of the two main characters here.

You know, in real life, I would LOVE the charming, and lovely Andrew. But I prefer more of the unattainable rogue in my book boyfriends. Not always, but more often than not. So for me, the bitchy girl matched up with the extremely adorable nice guy... just didn't grab me. The book was funny, and who knows, maybe I'll come back to it one day, but for now... darker, more mysterious heroes await!

Recommended for: Fans of nice guys who become enthralled with tainted heroines in new adult romances.

This book! AMAZING. DELICIOUS. Andrew is one of the best heroes that I've read. I have a huge weakness for hot, nerdy guys and he completely fit the bill. We need to see more intelligent sexy people in books! I swear that I could feel the chemistry between Andrew and Sadie. I.FELT.IT. I couldn't get enough of the banter between the two of them. I went into this expecting a romantic comedy. I totally got that. What I didn't expect was all the emotions and feels that this book gave me. It's a story about trust, redemption and rebuilding your life when the train goes off the tracks. Not to mention, I spent a lot of my life working for FRIENDLYS. I totally got every single reference in this book. It was so spot on, right down to the milkshake wall! You can't pass up this book!

Co-WRECKER by Meghan Quinn
Standalone Contemporary Romantic Comedy
This is getting ridiculous. I give out very few 5++++ star reviews, but this is #2 this year, and guess who the first  went to? Meghan Quinn. And the books couldn’t have been more different. Co-Wrecker by Meghan Quinn is a pretty light romantic comedy, and let me tell you, I read the whole thing with a goofy grin on my face, and found myself laughing out loud, literally, many times. The entire book is highlighted, so choosing quotes is such a pain, because I can’t choose from all the amazing ones that made me swoon or snort-laugh. But don’t think it’s all fun and games. Meghan Quinn is great at sneaking some deep emotion between the laughs, which is what made Co-WRECKER such genius work.

I typically don’t really go for New Adult books. When the characters are the same age as my son, I feel like I want to give them motherly advice rather than read about them having sex. But this was absolutely not the case, I loved every single second of Co-Wrecker, despite the couple being college aged. And let me give you these two words…"HOT NERD". I absolutely LOVED Andrew, he was smart, nerdy, sexy, sweet, and funny as hell. He also happens to be in possession of Cannon Cock, and he knows how to use it. He may be one of my favorite book heroes ever.
"He is the most ridiculous man I have ever met. Adorably ridiculous."

Andrew is a computer/math nerd, complete with glasses. After an “incident” at his prior school, Andrew relocates to Binghamton (his rooming situation is hilarious!). He gets his first ever job at Friendly’s and is so excited to start. That’s the thing about him—he’s happy, eager and excited and just enjoys life. Sadie has been at Friendly’s for 2 years and is stuck training the newbie, her least favorite thing in the world to do. She’s snarky, closed-off, hard-edged, and has had a really rough year. She has no room in her circle to let anyone new in, but Andrew, his silliness and his hotness and his sweetness? Seriously, no human on earth can resist that for long.
“Oh, is this one of those elementary school things? You like me, but you pretend you don’t like me so you’re extra mean?”
“No,” I answer quickly which makes him smile even bigger . . . if that’s possible.
“Wow, you like me. I can see it in your eyes.”
“You see nothing.” I press my hand against his chest to push him away, but I’m caught off guard when I feel just how strong he is beneath my palm. Oh hell.

Andrew was so charmingly awkward at times. I was literally laughing so hard at a scene with a certain set of ‘sturdy tits’ that my husband got worried! I was silent laughing and he thought I was having a seizure! Haha!

Sadie was a tough nut to crack. Some may not be crazy about her at the beginning, but I loved to watch Andrew knock the chip off her shoulder, then start to knock down those walls around her. She had a big group of loyal friends, and I like how Andrew was able to fit in.
Why do I suddenly want an offensive nickname? What would my nickname be? Penis Breath? Scrotum Face? Dirty Asshole . . . Yeah, I think I’ll stick with Andrew.

If I listed all the laugh out loud moments, I’d ruin the fun. Some of them may seem over-the-top out of context, but they all worked. It never felt like she was trying too hard to write funny, and it was balanced out by some of the more sad and serious moments. Honestly Co-WRECKER was the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
"Everything about this woman is hard as nails but it’s as if when she’s with me, in this little comfort cocoon we formed, she’s soft, sweet, and playful."

Despite Andrew being adorably funny and cute, when it came to the bedroom, he was all hot man. I posted just one of the hot-as-hell sex scenes in Ana’s Attic After Dark (NSFW), and let me tell you, it was HOT.
“Grip your knees, Sadie, and keep them there. I have other plans for my hands that don’t involve holding your legs back.”

Sadie wasn’t just holding back her legs (lucky her), she was holding back a lot of painful secrets from Andrew. He was light and fun. He was her sexy, fun escape.
“We should commemorate this moment by fucking each other next to the Oreos. I mean, they’re used to having cream all over them.”

But an new man can’t heal all wounds, and Sadie’s ran deep. Hopefully not so deep to drive him away forever.
"He's a four-leaf clover in a field of weeds; you don't let men like him slip through your fingers."

The Down and Dirty:
I’m actually a day late posting my review, because to tell you the truth, I had to keep putting Co-WRECKER down, I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to savor every word, not read it while I am peeing or falling asleep. It’s rare when I am reading a book and all I want to do is keep posting on social media saying “YOU NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK” but that’s how I felt reading Co-WRECKER by Meghan Quinn. I want to scream about it from the rooftops. I absolutely loved every single word of Co-Wrecker. I smiled the whole time, I laughed out loud, I swooned, I fanned myself, and I even cried. There was depth and substance disguised in the funny lines. Co-WRECKER is my idea of a perfect feel-good read, and it perfectly defines all the reasons I love to read. Meghan Quinn has cemented herself in my small handful of favorite authors with Co-Wrecker, and I am so freaking excited to have her at Wicked Book Weekend 18!

Fun, sexy and deliciously sweet.

Being this my first Meghan Quinn read, I went in without expectations and I was briefly caught off guard with the snarky heroine contrasted by the super cheerful hero. As I kept reading I couldn’t help but smile and laugh and I was put in a great mood by the developing story that had me happily turning page after page until the very end.

When we first meet Sadie, we don’t know all her secrets but we do know she’s a super lost college drop out who’s built tall walls around her heart and life. She doesn’t trust easily and has no vacancies for new friends, much less an over eager co-worker who also happens to be hot, smart and absolutely charming in his own unique way.

Andrew is happy to have been able to transfer schools, find a place to live on short notice. He’s especially happy to have gotten a job where he gets paid real money, as opposed to his parents fudge and hugs. He only needs to survive his training by the sexy, surly waitress with sad eyes who he’s made his summer’s mission to make laugh or at the very least crack a smile.

One drunken night and a shared passion for baseball has them spending time outside work and amplifying their attraction, but it’s Andrew’s irresistible charisma, genuine heart and quirky personality that inevitable sneaks into Sadie’s hardened heart, takes residence and refuses to let go. I was absolutely captivated by him and fell in love right along with Sadie.

I really enjoyed the character development, Andrew was swoon worthy without a doubt, but it was Sadie’s journey that touched my heart. The pace was flawless as was the balance between laughs, sexiness and touching moments. I can’t wait to get my hands on more books by Meghan Quinn!

Co-Wrecker is a standalone romantic comedy by Meghan Quinn. It’s a laugh out loud delight, told from both points of view with a happy ending.
