Breeding Season #6

Bred by the MC VP

Rate this book
Sable was born into the Hell's Slaves MC. Her mother and sister are club whores, so her future is already mapped out. But nobody knows her secrets—one of them being her lifelong infatuation with the club's VP. He's older, rougher, and would never consider her type for his old lady—but it doesn't stop her from dreaming.

Dog is second in command and takes his job seriously. Loyalty means everything to him. When it comes to Sable, it's hard for him to play by the rules. She's young and sweet with big brown eyes that intoxicate him. When Forge sends her away from the club to gather intel on a local cop, he can't get her off his mind. He worries about her safety, and even more, about another man's hands on what he considers his.

Will he disobey his Prez in the name of love or will he keep up his hardened walls and look the other way?

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

I liked Sable in the last Bred book and I liked her here to, she deserved so much better then this "club family" in my eyes. They treated her like shit beside Beth and sometimes Dog (H) but he was still an asshole.

But first Dog the VP I didnt hate him or like him him he was meh. He kept Sable at a distance because she was club pussy (EVEN IF SHE WAS A VIRGIN) he said he couldn't make her his old lady because of that and her age. Bright side glad he didnt sleep with Sables mom or sister. 😒 never once asked her if she slept with any brothers he assumed when he saw them go into her room. But she told him the brothers were drunk and pass out making her get away and still not club pussy. I hated that he was push/pull with Sable and her feelings he didnt act until Sable life was in danger. He had to see his woman be a pawn and fake date a cop for info for the club he was still push/pull.

Poor Sable was slapped, spit on, named called by the club and her family thinking she betrayed them.. that broke my heart for her. And Dog couldn't do anything because he would blow her cover.

And I hated Forge like so much.. he was better in his book. In this one he was a dick as a Pez, if this was his old lady he would be speaking a different tune and he could have gotten Sable killed.

Angst, Ow/om drama (cop and the sister and mom) Drama, slight secondary character, sexy time, virgin gal idk his past but he had one.

Boring.

Nothing new or very interesting in this story at all. I’m not even sure why this story is a part of the breeding season series as there was very little actual “breeding” going on. The story dragged and I couldn’t really connect with the characters. I didn’t like that she wasn’t an option for the MMC because she was club p u s s y, I hate when the woman is supposed to accept a man’s past but men can’t accept women’s. However, I also didn’t like that the FMC wasn’t pure up until it was revealed that she was. Then I was annoyed that she was a nearly thirty year old virgin raised by basically a prost-itute. I mean in one scene she was watching her younger sister getting banged by more than one dude. It would have made more sense if she was younger in age and in her sibling age order, but she was the older sibling and so it grossed me out.

I was so disconnected from the characters, I just couldn’t grasp or like them. All the little things, the nuances, made me too distracted from the story and had me in my head too much to see past it. The conflict of the story was barely resolved, mostly off page and the family relationship was hardly mentioned other than as a few scenes to start the drama. I felt like a lot was left unaddressed or glossed over. Either way, it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth my time. It was an entirely forgettable story. Enjoy if you can.

Dog

I really enjoyed this story. First, I love MC stories. Dog could not fight his feelings for Sable. And Sable was a ride or die chick. Good story,

I liked it. Though I really didn't like Dog for a while. Thing I love about these books is once they've got their woman, they're completely devoted to them.

Sable (virgin, club whore, age 26) has been in love with Dog (VP, age 46) since she was 17. They had always been friends until Dog realized he loved her. Then he had to stay away, partly because of age, but mainly because she was considered a club whore and therefor not good enough to be his woman.

That was really sh*tty of him because even after they got together, it was only after he learned that she was actually a virgin. If she hadn't been, then he wouldn't have gotten with her. Stupid man.

How is she a virgin?? Well her mom was a club whore and got knocked up with her two daughters. Sable didn't want to be a whore, so any time a guy came to her room, she made sure he was drunk and passed out without them ever doing anything. Def far fetched, but hey - it's fiction.

Oh - there's some drama that happens with the club and bad guys. But the most important part is the sex, and it was good.

I'm a fan of SC books so I'm biased.

Loyalty at any cost

What a fantastic follow up story! I love that we got to see Sable and Dog find their HEA. The authors kept the action hoping in this book with danger coming at every turn of the page, and then we find this sweet love story. I shed so many tears as this brave, innocent woman proved why she will always belong to the club. The authors did an amazing job with this book and I can’t wait to see what they bring our way next.

This one was set about a year after Bred by the MC Prez, - so included some characters from that book.
We meet again, Forge the Prez and Beth his old lady, who now have a son.
We remeet Dog the VP who has a thing for Sable one of the club girls, who has managed to stay a virgin despite being 26 and living and being raised at the club house. This was the first thing that stretched my credulity. Sable's age was not right and no doubt in a true MC a member would have taken care of her virginity when she was about 16.
We meet Old Boy from the First book and Redneck the new enforcer. Old Boy somehow becomes Old Dog and it gets a little confusing because we have Dog ( the H) and Old Dog and Dog is 46 so it gets a little messy when reading.
Sable risks her self to save the club, Forge is more Presidenty than he got to be in his book and Beth is still lovely. Sable's mother and sister - Sweetheart and Honey - no having to remember names there!
They are bitches, who need to get their own comeuppance but don't.

Things go down, the boys in club sort things, but mostly we are told what had happened it wasn't in the story - which was disappointing.
Love is found for Dog with Sable and as Sable has loved him forever she gets her HEA and a baby - wrapped up nicely.

Sable has loved Dog from the beginning. When she was shot in “Bred by the MC Prez” you would have thought that cemented their relationship. Nope. Dog didn’t see her as the right woman for him. He cared for and even loved her but he was allowing what the club would think about a club slut becoming an old lady. When Forge needed Sable to get friendly with the new mayor and one of the cops that was showing signs of liking her, Sable took the job. She knew it was for the good of the club. It would prove that she was loyal. But a shocker was found out. Sable was never with anyone else. Dog was shocked. Now his true feelings are coming out. I was disappointed in Dog from the beginning. He saw her as unworthy and then when he found out she was a virgin she was. That made me mad. If he loved her, what did it matter what the club thought. This had a lot of highs and lows. Sable was a yo-yo with Dog but it finally worked out.

Sable was born into the club life but she doesn't really like it. She only was there because she had no other place to go..............plus Dog was there. Dog has been resisting his attraction to Sable for a long time because she's so much younger and she's considered a club whore. But there are secrets he doesn't know about her. In the previous book, the club was attacked and Sable almost died. Dog took care of her but then shut her out. Now, the club needs information on certain police officers and the city government officials. Sable offers to do this and all but Dog and Forge know the truth of what she is about to do. Drama, secrets, danger and mystery are all in this book and when push comes to shove, the club is called in to save Sable. Will Dog lose her after he's finally accepted the fact he loves her? Loved this story!!!

No just no. She destroyed Forge ( an H in a previous book) for me. Ugh why can’t writers leave characters who already have HEA alone.

“All mine, Sable. All mine for the rest of our lives.”

Considering she grew up in and around the club, Sable and Dog have known each other for quite a long time. Her mom and sister are part of the club–neither as old ladies.

This is the 6th book in the series. There is a theme of breeding. Get your gal–your one and only–pregnant. Dog is possessive and an alpha. Sable knows Dog and has been in love with him forever. The journey of her being a part of the club and suddenly agreeing to do be the bait to get information was emotional for Sable. It did feel like she was taken for granted.

There is an underlying mystery here that makes this worth the read. The authors have tried to make the reader connect with the characters but I have not been able to do it. I don’t really think this book is a standalone. I am not reading in order and I do wish there was a lot more backup or details to both of the characters. That may be something covered in other installments.

It took some time to like the characters in the first half of the book. Dog had specific characteristics in mind for his old lady–some were a bit unrealistic and made him hesitant toward having a relationship with her. That being said he does try to make up for it afterward. The book has a secondary plot which I liked. Seeing the mystery unfold and their relationship with it was great. I loved the 2nd half of the story and the climax.

I would suggest the book for readers who do not mind the topic of the series, but think they should probably try to read it in order.

It was cool

The story was good had bits and prices of drama, action and sex. However, I felt like it was missing something.. Idk. I do agree with some of the comments about how quick he was to judge her in the beginning but finally accepted her ..that could've been more wrote out or something. I thought the mom was gonna turn but she wasn't written in the end. Sex scenes was decent be could've been more graphic...I wanna feel like I'm the one being FUCKD...I think the 3 star fits it in my opinion. Should you buy it?? Hmm not in my opinion but it came with alot of good reviews so I wanted to check it out doe myself....you decide . Happy reading !!

With a title like Bred by the MC VP, you know what you are getting. Smut. Pure, trashy smut. And I love it. The zexytime scenes are full of heat with (of course) a breeding kink. And there’s actually a plot. Sable loves Dog, but she’s a club ho-ho-ho and he can’t take her as an old lady because double standards. She goes undercover for the club to get the goods in a corrupt politician and a cop, who want to destroy the MC. She can’t tell anyone in the MC besides Dog, Prez, and Prez’s woman, so the rest of the MC thinks she’s a traitor, and drama ensues. Meanwhile, she reveals a secret that changes Dog’s mind . HEA and Safe. 🌋🌋🌋🌋🌋 zexytime.

Fantastic Read

I absolutely love this story. Dog and Sabel are an amazing couple. I am also happy to read the other characters from the last book. Don't get me started on her family. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I highly recommend this book.

Hated Forge in this story and Dog is Dog for a reason, hated how he only saw the need for her when he found she's "pure".Beth was resilient, the only good think about this book and as for the story, nothing interesting, same old MC shit drama and violence(that drag a little too long for my liking).
