They help each other out,
because that’s what neighbors do…

Adam and Belinda make a if she tends his hives, he’ll sell her flowers in town.

Belinda’s sure that her growing feelings for Adam could never be returned. Meanwhile, Adam can’t help but notice how his shy neighbor charms the bees…or is he the one being charmed? Because his last courtship ended badly, Adam tells himself this arrangement is strictly business, even if Belinda is sweet as honey.

Mindy Steele is a new-to-me author, but I will be returning to read some of her other Amish-based books. I was attracted to this book because of all the sunflowers on the cover which are my most favorite flower!! The story itself is what kept me turning the page and rooting for Belinda and Adam throughout.

An Amish Flower Farm is a sweet Amish romance. Belinda Graber is a beautiful woman and wants to sell her flowers at the Amish marketplace, but she has a birthmark on her cheek that stops her from leaving the farm. Beekeeper, Adam Hostetler, lives next store to the Graber’s fields. Recently his father was injured, leaving Adam to find work at the local mill. Working at the mill doesn’t leave Adam much time to harvest his honey. Belinda and Adam strike up a deal to help each other out. Belinda will tend to Adam’s hives and he will sell her flowers in the marketplace......and that is where this heartwarming story begins.

This was a wonderful feel-good listen and I really enjoyed the narrator’s style. I highly recommend this one!

This is a super sweet Clean Amish Romance. I listen to the audiobook of this book while I drove 8 hours to my Grandmother house today. I really enjoyed this audiobook, and the narrator was good. This book is all about a super shy Amish young woman meets an Amish young man that is a beekeeper. This story pulled me in so fast and it kept me wanting to keep listening. I have to say I loved the characters in this book, but there was points that I felt the story was moving to slow. The ending was so sweet and cute. I feel if you enjoy Amish books then you should really enjoy this book. I also think the cover of this book is way to cute, and I wish I had a field of Sunflowers. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Hallmark Publishing) or author (Mindy Steele) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

Amish fiction fans, rejoice! There’s a delightful new voice on the scene! Mindy Steele’s An Amish Flower Farm is warm and romantic, with touches of humor and characters you care about.

Belinda Graber is someone I think most women can relate to. Even though her insecurities about a facial birthmark have led her to withdraw from others perhaps to a greater extent than you or I would, the majority of us understand at least the desire to do so when our self-esteem or body image takes a hit. This ‘insecurity camaraderie’ will help you love Adam even more because of how HE views Belinda, and you’ll be cheering as she faces her fears and begins to come out of her protective shell. When Belinda is confident or comfortable around someone, we see her true self and it is a delight! She is witty and warm with a big heart and a fearless spirit. Her journey is inspiring to all of us who have let what others think of us (or our perceptions thereof) steal our confidence, whether just for a few moments or for years.

Adam Fisher makes for a very swoony – albeit stubborn – hero. He’s a caring son, a hard worker, and once he sets his mind to intentionally pursue Belinda, hold on to your hat! Speaking of hats… there’s a particular line he says when he’s staking his claim in front of another wannabe suitor that left me fanning myself with my Kindle. I loved the moments when he dared to start flirting with her or those almost-kisses… whew! There I go, fanning myself again.

Bottom Line: An Amish Flower Farm by Mindy Steele is a sweet romance with a heartwarming story and engaging characters. Belinda and Adam’s character growth throughout this story is a pleasure to watch, and their romance will leave you smiling. The setting from Belinda’s flower garden to Adam’s bee hives acts as a supporting character in this delightful novel, and the actual people supporting characters are fun to meet as well. Speaking of those, I hope this becomes a series because I’m dying to see her siblings’ stories too! Perfect for fans of Rachel J. Good and Patricia Davids!

Oh my goodness! I enjoyed this story so much! This is the first book that I have read by this author and I definitely look forward to reading more books written by her. For this novel, I actually listened to the audio book version and thoroughly enjoyed the narrator, as well. She did a good job of differentiating voices so that I could tell the differences between who was speaking. She did both the male and female voices very nicely.

This story was beautiful and I loved listening as Belinda began to feel more comfortable around Adam. Her abilities with the bees was something special and I enjoyed the conversations that Adam and Belinda had about flowers and bees.

An Amish Flower Farm touches on self image and the way bullying can affect a person’s self esteem. It also shows the importance of a strong family unit and the benefits of knowing that your family loves you.

It took Adam awhile to realize that he could have a happy and fulfilling life with Belinda, even though his pride had been previously hurt by another woman. And Belinda believed no one would want her as a wife. I enjoyed the emotional journeys that both of these characters were on and watching them discover their happily ever after together.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

First of all, I had no idea that Hallmark had its own publishing company!

An Amish Flower Farm is a sweet romance between two young adults resistant to romance for different reasons. I loved the way Beatrice and Adam worked together to build each other's hubbies: bee keeping and growing flowers.

I enjoyed this read, and it kept me page-turning for answers.
Sometimes we are our own worse enemy, and it doesn’t matter where you are from we all are influenced by others.
In this this story the author has a beautiful, compassionate, young Amish woman who has lived her life thinking she needs to hide because of a birth stain on her face.
Now her neighbor raises bees, lots of them, and what a beautiful combination, bees and flowers!
This is a sweet story of courage, determination and a love for others. People who sacrifice and give their all in times of need, and as a bonus we are given some sweet romance!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Hallmark Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

An Amish Flower Farm by Mindy Steele is a sweet Amish tale. I was quickly drawn into the story, and I was up late finishing this heartwarming novel. I thought An Amish Flower Farm was well-written with engaging, developed characters. Belinda Graber is a beautiful woman inside and out. She is a caring woman who is shy after being bullied as a child because of a port wine birthmark on her check. Belinda wants to sell the flowers she grows, but she is unable to approach people to accomplish her goal. Adam Hostetler has been working extra jobs since his father had a work accident. It leaves him little time to harvest his honey. Adam learns that Belinda helped her grandfather with his honey harvest in Kentucky. He approaches Belinda who suggests they help each other. Belinda will help Adam with his honey harvest if Adam finds buyers for her flowers. Adam has been attracted to Belinda since they were in school. He still finds her lovely, but, after a recent disastrous courtship, Adams is determined that they will just have a business relationship. I liked seeing the characters grow over the course of the novel. Mindy Steele created some great characters. My favorite was Belinda’s maternal grandmother, Mollie Bender. She is a hoot. I love the way she talks with God. Adam’s father, Atlee is another good character. Despite being laid up with a severe injury, he has an upbeat attitude. I like that the story is told from Belinda and Adam’s point-of-view. We get to see things from each of their perspectives (it is amazing how different their view can be on the same situation). There is humor scattered throughout the story. I love it when a book makes me laugh. The authors word imagery brings the scenes alive for me. I could visualize Belinda working among her flowers and charming the bees. There are some good life lessons in this charming story about fear, perceptions, wasting time, helping others, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like how the people in this community help each other out. They are there for each other in times of need. My favorite line in An Amish Flower Farm is, “Don’t ever compare yourself to others. There is only one you, and you were made special by Gott.” In An Amish Flower Farm, we see that bees and flowers are a great combination in more ways than one. I am looking forward to reading more books by this up-and-coming author. An Amish Flower Garden is a delightful Amish novel with fragrant flowers, busy bees, a meddling Mammi, mocking mates, shielding siblings, and a caring community.

This is my first Mindy Steele book but it sure won't be my last. And I'm hoping this is the beginning of a series because I've fallen in love with this community and the Graber family and Belinda does have a pair of siblings that need matching up. There isn't a series title on the book anywhere, but I'm still going to live in hope.

I love Belinda's shy awkwardness -- she makes introverts look outgoing! Her quiet nature is amplified by her insecurities over a facial birthmark that generated a lot of teasing when she was in school. Now she's a homebody who loves to serve those she loves best and she's content to work in her flower gardens -- away from the gawkers.

Next door neighbour Adam has always been sweet on Belinda but she runs away like a scared rabbit every time he tries to approach her. Unwilling to make her uncomfortable, he keeps his distance...until an urgent need throws these two together. A flower farmer and a beekeeper -- what sweet destiny! :-)

Love the way this romance develops. Adam's gentle patience coaxes the real Belinda out of her protective shell at last. He finds her charming and witty and surprisingly easy to talk to and it isn't long before he's smitten. Luckily the feeling is mutual...though that doesn't mean the happily-ever-after comes as easily as all that!

Steele has crafted a gentle, heartwarming romance with a setting I definitely want to return to. Hint: Mica and Tabitha need their own stories. Plus we need an update on Belinda and Adam.

It's the oldest romance ever told. Bee's and flowers.

Belinda Graber suffers from extreme shyness and keeps herself from others. She enjoys growing different kinds of flowers and the peace and joy it brings. Her neighbor Adam Fisher as always admired Belinda but Belinda never says a word to anyone. It all changes when Adam responsibilities has grown. Taking care of his aging parents, the mill where he works and being a bee keeper. He asks Belinda brother for help but her brother suggests that Belinda would be a good fit. So the beekeeper and the flower girl are forced to work together. Their partnership blossoms into more and the growth of Belinda and Adam of being more to each other as well. I loved how their story progresses. It is sweet like honey and it brightened my day like a daisy. I wish their story would have gone on.

One of the spiritual insights of their story and there were several was what Belinda believed about herself. She was her own worst enemy. In some ways Adam was too but in a different way. The lesson is we all have that battle of being our worst enemy and how it relates to others. How we need others to see the best in ourselves and how others help us grow. God created us to be in community to share in our struggles and victories.

A special thank you to Hallmark Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review.

Belinda and Adam are meant to be. He keeps bees, and she grows flowers. What could be better? They're also neighbors who have avoided each other for years. Belinda has a birthmark that she's self-conscious about, so she avoids social settings because she feels everyone is looking at her. Circumstances bring the two of them to an arrangement that turns out better than they might have envisioned. Such a sweet romance with lots of information about flowers and raising bees which I found fascinating. Great read!

Thank you to Mindy Steel and Hallmark Publishing for allowing me to read an ARC of AN AMISH FLOWER FARM and a special thank you to Mindy for allowing me to be on her street team. It is a pleasure.

I enjoyed Mindy's book TO CATCH A HUMMINGBIRD so much that I could not imagine this one being as good, but it is. Mindy just gets better and better.

Belinda Graber is a very shy girl who does not mix well with people and helps run her parent's greenhouse. She has a small birthmark on her face and always keeps her head and eyes down because she is embarrassed by it. Her neighbor, Adam Fisher is a beekeeper but has to work two jobs in order to help his family because his father was hurt in a mill accident. Adam really needs help with his honey harvest and he and Belinda make a deal. She will care for his bees and he will sell the flowers she grows for her in town.

They tell themselves that it is strictly business, but are feelings developing between these two? When Adam is hurt on the job and unable to work, what will become of Belinda's flower business? What will become of Adam's family?

I can't wait to read Mindy's next one. She writes an excellent story and tells it in such a natural, entertaining way that you just can't put it down.

This is a wonderful 5-star book to add to your Amish collection. I was not required to give a positive review of this work, but gladly recommend it and any of Mindy's books. I could not put this one down.

Release day is July 27. Pre-order yours today.

To my knowledge this is the first book I have read that is published by Hallmark Publishing. I expected it to be an Amish romance much like the enjoyable movies from the channel. It could be 'cookie cutter' predictable but nice. Well, I love the story. It is character driven. It is interesting right away as the characters tell their stories. Brenda Graber is consumed by shyness and fear brought about from her childhood and being teased about a birthmark on her face. The only place she is truly comfortable is at home and in her flower garden. Adam Hostetler, her neighbor is overwhelmed with responsibility while working to help his parents after his father is injured in an accident. Adam finally has to admit he needs help with his passion, his apiary. The only person left who may help him is his beautiful but fearful neighbor.
This is a well written book that goes beyond a possible romance. It's a story about overcoming fear, pushing past painful history and daring to pursue a dream for the future.
I like the author's approach to the budding friendship and the bravery both characters exhibit when needed.
I really want to thank the author, publisher and NetGalley for my advanced reader's copy. This was an enjoyable read with touches of humor and hope. I will definitely read more by this author. Anyone who likes to read a clean romance based on an Amish couple should enjoy this story.

Heartwarming

Belinda has been hurt in the past , Because of this, she tends to be very shy., even with people she's known her whole life. However, one place where Belinda's shyness disappears is when she's among her flowers. She loves flowers desires to have a flower farm one day. On the other hand, Adam, is not the least bit shy, Well, except when it comes to Belinda. Although Adam has also experienced hurt, it hasn't affected his social skills. But for some reason, when it comes to Belinda, Adam often finds himself at a loss for words. While Belinda's passion is flowers, Adam's passion is bees. And that makes for a very interesting combination.

This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. I loved Belinda's journey. She grew from a shy young woman to a savvy business owner and business partner. I also loved Adam's journey of healing and dedication. Most of all, I loved their journey together as they went from practically strangers to partners, friends and on from there. Their journey also included a journey in forgiveness, which added a lovely inspirational touch to the story. The mix of romance, humor and inspiration make An Amish Flower Farm a heartwarming story that should not be missed by anyone.

This was such a sweet story! I genuinely liked both of the main characters as well as their friends and family. Their issues were understandable and the way they worked though them was hopeful and uplifting without being drawn-out or suffused with unnecessary drama.

I especially enjoyed the tiny bit of heat the author included in the story. It's absolutely a completely clean romance (calling it PG would probably even be a stretch) but it was nice to see their love story include the spark and attraction along with genuine friendship, respect, and affection. All those kinner have to come from somewhere!

Fans of traditional Amish romance won't be disappointed with this story. It's a very well-written, enjoyable read. It sounds like we have both siblings' stories to look forward to and I'm sure they will be just as fun!

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review!

Belinda was born with a birthmark on her face that she is very self conscious about. When she was in school kids used to tease her about. Now she likes to stay at home and take care of her flowers and not go around other people. Her parents had to leave town so its up to the kids to take care of the farm. Belinda wanted to plant more flowers so her sister could sell them at the market.

Adam is the beekeeper and neighbor from next door. His dad was hurt and needs Adam to take over for him at the mill. So that does not leave Adam alot of time to take care of his bees and his honey. He makes a deal with Belinda to help him and he will help her sell her flowers.

I really enjoyed this book. I was shy at school and was teased badly when I was growing up. I could definitely relate to the book and how Belinda felt. I was content to be a loner myself until I met that certain someone who brought out the best in me. Check it out I think you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Belinda grows flowers to sell to local florists and other businesses. Her neighbor across the street, Adam, raises bees and sells the local honey to businesses in town. They strike up a deal to help each other. Belinda has experience with bees and she will help Adam with the bees and Adam will take the flowers into town and sell them for her. Belinda and Adam have know each other all their lives but their partnership heightens their awareness of each other and causes enough soul searching to solve some of the issues they have had in the past. This was a fun story.

Love came softly for two neighbors. One, a heartbroken bee farmer trying to do everything for his ailing family, and two, a shy girl who just wants to be left to her flower garden. Like bees and flowers, these two were perfect for each other.

I enjoyed reading this book very much and would like to read more books by this author. I appreciated that the author did not sugarcoat the challenges of Amish life, such as the lack of insurance to cover medical bills and their difficulties in making a living within the constraints of their religion.

Both of the main characters in this book are facing serious challenges. The heroine, Belinda Graber, is extremely shy and retiring as she was born with a birthmark on her face, to the point that she rarely socializes and almost never goes to the nearby town. Thankfully it has become less obvious as she grew older, but to Belinda, it is still the first thing that people see when they look at her. Belinda is a gifted flower grower and her family sells her flowers along with their other products at the marketplace in town. Belinda is also aware that no one can handle her business as well as she could, and that her shyness is causing her to miss opportunities to find new markets for her flowers and other products.

Meanwhile, a neighbor, Adam Fisher, has a problem that will require Belinda to step outside of her comfort zone, the largest challenge she has faced in her adult life. Adam helps his father run their family farm. However, his father has become seriously ill and is now hospitalized. To help pay the hospital bills, Adam has taken a job in a local mill as well as still doing his other work.

His own passion is his bees which produce honey. His land runs by Belinda's family's land and her flowers are a great source of nectar for his bees. His bees are also beneficial to her and her family since the bees also pollinate her flowers and her family's crops. Belinda agrees to help him with the bees and the honey harvest. Belinda was hesitant at first but she was the best one for the job. It didn't hurt that being around Adam was relatively easy, and that he didn't seem to really notice her birthmark. In return for her help with the bees, he offers to sell her flowers in town and help find her new markets. It turns out that Belinda is almost a bee 'whisperer' - the bees don't sting her. Helping Adam also ends up requiring her to visit the town and meet with some of the non-local Amish and to Belinda's great surprise ... it isn't awful.

I've completely skipped over the romance, but it is every bit as good as the bee and flower business parts and the getting-to-know-each-other part of the book. Adam and Belinda were made for each other. I highly recommend this book for every lover of Amish romance. It's one of the best in this genre that I've ever read.

I want to thank Hallmark Publishing and Netgalley for an advance reader copy of this book. It was my pleasure to read and review it. These are my honest opinions of the book.

An "An Amish Flower Farm" is a truly delightful contemporary Amish romance from author Mindy Steele and Hallmark Publishing. The characters are so well-developed, and the story line flows at such a pleasing pace--you feel a sense of immediacy of time and place. You are drawn to the characters and become involved in their lives. You will keep the pages turning to see how their life situations will be resolved. The Grabers and the Hostetlers have neighboring farms in Havenlee, Indiana. The Grabers earn their living through their greenhouses filled with beautiful flowers and delicious produce. Belinda, the youngest of the three Graber siblings, had always been painfully shy. She was very self-conscious of the port wine birthmark on her cheek. She preferred to let her sister Tabitha and her brother Mica take the lead in dealing with people. Belinda was happiest tending her flowers. Adam Hostetler was a couple of years older than Belinda, and he had long admired her from afar. He thought she was lovely, and he paid little attention to her birthmark. Her shyness was a definite barrier, however, and Adam finally began to court another girl. That relationship didn't last long, and it left Adam with a somewhat bitter outlook. He would tend to his bees, sell his honey, work occasional odd jobs, and help his family. Life changes drastically for both families when Adam's father is seriously injured working at the lumber mill, and Belinda' parents are called away to Kentucky to help with her ailing grandfather. Belinda and her siblings must manage the farm and the produce business, and Adam will start working at the mill and manage his own family's farm. But how will he tend his bees as needed? The unexpected answer lies close at hand: Belinda will tend his bees, and he will take her flowers to market when he goes to town. As the two of them work together, they learn about each other as well as themselves. As they grow as individuals, they grow closer to one another. Can Belinda and Adam trust their hearts with each other just as they have with their businesses? "An Amish Flower Farm" is a beautifully-written, heartfelt love story that will be greatly enjoyed by fans of sweet contemporary romance.

A wholesome tale focusing on the Amish. I like that the story is told from Belinda and Adam’s point-of-view. We get to see things from each of their perspectives (it is amazing how different their view can be on the same situation. There are some good life lessons in this charming story about fear, perceptions, wasting time, helping others, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The characters are sweet funny and I really enjoyed the personalities that were built by the author. The bees and the flowers are even brought forth as characters in my opinion and the romance between the bees and flowers is evident as well as how a romance can bloom amongst people. The community and coming together that is reflected in the story and is present in many Amish communities is something that today's society could reinvigorate in order to build stronger ties amongst neighbors and friends. An Amish Flower Farm is the perfect blend of romance, Amish culture, and faith in God and nature.

This book is a heartwarming story of two neighbors who come together in a time of need to help each other out. It's a very well written story that will draw you in and keep you turning page after page. The book takes place in an Amish community of Havenlee.

Belinda has always been shy due to a birthmark on her face and kids being cruel when she was young. As she's grown she's kept to herself and not mingled with the others often or spoke to many people. She's fully content with her life growing her flowers and having her sister sell them at the market.

Adam is the neighbor next door who's Dad is stuck at home with an injury and can't work. So, it's up to Adam to pick up the slack and support the family. He's working 2 jobs to make ends meet and pay down medical bills but he doesn't have time to take care of his bees. The honey harvest is coming and he can't find anyone at all to help him.

Belinda and Adam come to an agreement to help each other's businesses out. She will help harvest honey and take care of the bees if Adam sells her flowers on his way through town in the morning on his way to work. Together their businesses help each other.

Can Adam help Belinda to over come her shyness? Will either of them find true love? Read this sweet romance to find out what happens between Belinda and Adam.

This was a wonderful compassionate story of neighbors helping neighbors. Belinda loves her flowers and wants to make a livelihood selling them but she is shy and self conscious about a birthmark on her face. She has stayed most of her life isolated from all but her family because of bullying she suffered at school. Belinda could not get past the birthmark on her face to believe anyone could care about her. Adam is a neighbor that has bee hives and collects honey to sell. But because his father is injured and can’t work for a while, Adam takes on two more jobs to help with medical bills and everyday expenses. Being an only child puts him as the only breadwinner. He needs help with his hives and she needs help selling her flowers. A perfect partnership? Maybe...
I enjoyed the interaction between all the characters and how family and neighbors meant so much to each other. The Amish way is to help those that need help. And they all tried to do just that.
This is a must read for those that enjoy heartwarming stories full of love, compassion and caring.
I received a complimentary ebook from the publisher but was not required to write a review.

This is my first book by author Mindy Steele, and I’m now frantically looking for her other books. Seriously, this is my favorite book this year. If you enjoy Amish fiction then this is a must read.

So, why is it my favorite? Steele writes in such a way that I was thoroughly captivated from page one. Her style flows so well, and it draws the reader in. I completely lost track of time and felt fully immersed in the story.

Characters Belinda and Adam are strong and well developed. Belinda doesn’t know she’s strong but she definitely is. Both have hurts that need healed, just as we do in real life. The descriptions of each of them make me feel I know them well. I’d love to walk through her flower garden, and check out his bee farm. To sit with them and have a cup of coffee would be so fulfilling because of course they’re real people, right? I know when I feel that way it’s an incredible book.

A story of courage, perseverance, and love I highly recommend.

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

I don't read Amish fiction too often, but I heard and am slightly familiar with the genre. And...this was a great read for my first introduction to it! Belinda stays close to home in her Amish community by tending her family's farm. She also has a birthmark that makes her wary of people getting to know her. Adam is a beekeeper working hard at his jobs and supporting his family. When the duo strikes a deal--Belinda tending the bees and Adam helping her sell flowers she grows--their partnership begins to grow into something more.

Mindy Steele is a terrific writer and it shows throughout the book! Her depiction of Amish life, farming, beekeeping, and more were authentic, educational, and really brought a lot to the plot. I think it also made the story more interesting for those reasons too. Belinda's character arc was inspiring, fun, and done well. I also enjoyed other characters including Tabitha, Ivan, Mica, and Mammi. Adam's family was also very sweet. I definitely went away learning a bit--and have a better appreciation--of the Amish community and what they contribute to society. I might keep this writer on my radar for future books!

I received this book for free from Hallmark Publishing and BookFunnel in exchange for an honest review.

Never give up on the things that make you happy...

Oh my heart! I have never read an Amish Romance before, I wish I had sooner. Belinda and Adam are a lovely and endearing couple together. Belinda has a reputation for being shy and insecure. This has stemmed from childhood. She was and is self-conscious about the birthmark that she has on her cheek. She has been teased about it all her life. She has accepted that her lot in life is to live alone, take care of her gardens and being satisfied to follow a simple life with no surprises.

Adam a bee farmer is Belinda's neighbor. He has known her since they were kids. He has always liked her but was reluctant to approach her. He knew she was skittish and so he kept his distance so as not to upset her. When Adam finds himself in a bind with his bee farm, as a last resort he approaches Belinda for help. She has some knowledge about bee keeping and there was no one else that was available to help him.

It was a delight to see their relationship bloom as time passed. The author weaves a beautiful thread of romance, strength of family and courage. Watching Belinda turn from a caterpillar into a butterfly was a joy to experience. The HEA was heart-stopping and gave you all the feels.

An Amish Flower Farm
An uplifting romance from Hallmark Publishing
by Mindy Steele, Hallmark Publishing
Narrated by Rebecca Gallagher

I received an audiobook arc from NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

This is my first time reading a book by this author and actually my first time reading an Amish romance ever. My mother in law is a huge fan of Amish romances so I wanted to check it out as her birthday is approaching. I was about 1/3 of the way through listening when I went ahead and ordered the book for her. It was that good! 😊

This is a heartwarming story that centers on learning to value what is truly important in a partner - honesty, integrity, sincerity, a good work ethic, a willingness to help others in need and to think of what others need.

While this was a culture I was minimally familiar with the descriptions were vivid, easily accessible and relatable. I love when a book incorporates food and nature in such a way that the reader can almost smell and taste what is described in the scene. This was definitely the case with this experience.

The narration and sound quality were superb.

This was a sweet, wholesome, comforting read without being too corny or cheesy. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m sure my mother in law will too! 5/5
