With London about to keel before the overwhelming surge of the outbreak, the largest and most lavish cruise-ship in the world, the MS Heaven of the Seas, sets sail on its long fourteen-day voyage across the Atlantic Ocean from Southampton towards the Caribbean. Having to reflect upon their pasts in order to confront any kind of hopeful future, a family in tatters attempts to rebuild their relationship, just as yet another outbreak of the Ouroboros Parasite occurs. Rachel, a 25-year-old, contends with the ramifications of her choices in life, all of which become minuscule when faced with a greater threat. Trapped aboard a twitcher infested ship, the family finds themselves caught between a rock and a hard place, or in this case, the hell of the seas. Will they be able to escape, or are they fated to sleep with the fishes? Fear the unknown.
Zombies on a cruise ship! An original and terrifying concept. I was gripped by this, especially by the build-up. It is also neat and well -plotted, just like the first instalment.
