With two teenagers at home, Logan and Ava don’t have much time to relax. There’s always something going on in the Wright household whether it’s dance lessons or baseball practice. They wouldn’t have it any other way. It would be nice, though, to see their friends more and have some time away from the daily grind.

So Logan and Tanner team up to surprise their family and friends with a huge vacation. It will be all the guys - and their wives and kids - on a two week fun-filled extravaganza.

But lurking in the background is a sadistic killer with a grudge. He’s got a list of targets and he’s knocking them off one by one. When Logan gets pulled into the investigation, he realizes that they have an eerie connection to the victims.

And they just might be next…

Wade Bryson won’t die! He’s haunted Logan and Ava Wright’s marriage since Logan stopped Wade’s murder rampage by killing him, a decade ago. As the OG-CJA plan a joint family vacation, Logan’s reputation of successfully catching serial killers has the citizens of Corville demanding the homegrown son they’ve vilified in charge of catching their possible second serial killer.

As the case goes national, Logan and his friends descend on Corville to work together for the first time in almost ten years. Originally, the boys are stumped, Logan wonders if the culprit could be a Bryson acolyte and shares with Ava who snags onto a significant clue that could make the case very, very personal. But the killer goes quiet and the families go on with their vacation plans.

*NOTE*While this outing is heavily influenced by Seeking Justice and it would be helpful to read it before this outing, it’s not required. It was fun to have the OG-CJA back together on a case after background and cameo duty. Though some pieces seemed overcrowded, It made sense for the story.

The years have been good to Logan and Ava. The twins are healthy, happy and still a handful, but they all needed a break. The kids are growing up way too fast and that meant more stress for all of them. They need to reconnect with their friends, but it seems a relaxing vacation isn't in the stars. Back in their hometown, there are unsolved murders that are hitting a little too close to home. Was the past coming back to haunt Logan? Even the dead seemed to have it out for him.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES! IT'S AWESOME CATCHING UP WITH THE GUYS AND THEIR FAMILIES! I LOVE READING ABOUT THE NEXT GENERATION...hint, hint. LOVE THESE ALPHA MALES AND THEIR STRONG, SEXY WOMEN! FANTASTIC READ, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!

Wow! Talk about nail biting. It doesn’t take much suspense in a book to have me on the edge of my seat, this one had me there from the start, what an opening.
I love reading about this group of people. I love their friendships and I love how they support each other and their kids. Bringing the kids into it, teenaged kids, is sometimes hard to keep it realistic and to keep the main characters just as sexy and heroic but Olivia Jaymas manages just that. Despite their ageing years these lawmen are still just as sexy and seeing them dealing with stroppy teens adds to the realism.

I loved seeing them all work together and I just know it’s not over yet and I can’t wait to see what’s comes their way next.

This was probably the best of the follow up books, totally had me guessing who did it.

Love the characters in this series

Logan is never going to be rid of Wade Bryson, the psychotic half brother who was a serial killer that Logan ended up killing. There seems to be another serial killer in the small town and it looks like it's tied to Wade. The men and their families go on vacation together but danger has followed them. Logan's daughter is kidnapped and he will do anything to get her back. Excellent story.

Fantastic

What a wonderful dip back into the addictive world of The Cowboy Justice Association. It does the heart good to see how our favourite characters are doing. Watching them come together again to find the evil bent on revenge. Definitely recommend. 5 star read

Thrilling

This was so good. It was fun reading about the friends catching up, even against the backdrop of a serial killer. The suspense was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable.
