The sports part of this was non-existent.
The romance part was lacking.
The plot part was … lame.
What else is there really?

I mean, I read it in record time so I don’t regret it. I got to tick another surprise baby trope off my list. But it was overall underwhelming and wouldn’t recommend

DNF at 61%

i feel so bad to be dnfing this book, but where's the romance? there's romance, but the heroine is hiding this secret from him, so at the part i DNF i was basically just waiting for someone to tell him because that's probably what's gonna happen.

also, the male friendship was more fun than the heroine and hero together .

it’s okay and briggs is amazing, but I couldn’t stand maddison saying that she didn’t know her posts hurt people... like, is she serious????? how stupid do you have to be to not know that gossip hurts people? I mean, I’m not being a hypocrite and saying don’t gossip because I do love a good gossip but of course in some cases it hurts people a lot and she honestly didn’t have a clue??????

Epically swoony, adorably heartwarming, and sexy AF, Sincerely the Puck Bunny is without a doubt Maren Moore’s best work to date! Briggs is the dreamy book boyfriend you’ve been waiting for!

We’ve all been waiting to see what is behind hockey’s troubled bad boy….and just who is the face behind the infamous Puck Bunny pen name. STB gives us all the answers- and then some. And turns out the only secret that comes Briggs way isn’t just the identity of the sassy blogger that’s been a thorn in his side- we also have a surprise, secret baby…and DADDY BRIGG IS EVERYTHING. My ovaries just exploded and I popped out quadruplets- because he’s just that delicious as a devoted, protective, and loving unexpected dad.

We have a few twists, some SUPER sexy and sweet steamy times, and a whole lot of that characteristic Maren Moore heartfelt and swoony chemistry. Together they are a messy and adorable pair- two people just trying to figure out their way after their own, and others’, choices have caused them to get a little bit lost. A chance encounter inspires and centers them and cements a bond that only flourishes once they are serendipitously drawn back together and find themselves in a beautiful, but unexpected partnership. Even though our leading lady has been harboring a secret, you can’t help but fall in love with her sweet and playful spirit. And Briggs- hands down my favorite Maren man. HE IS PERFECT- a total dreamboat hero and father that is easy to love, and a dirty talking alpha who melts your panties. Maren has such an effortless propensity in writing leading men that sweep you away with their charm and big teddy bear hearts- men with a little edge, but a whole lot of love, and when they find their special lady, they don’t hold back. And cue all the swoony, sweet, feel good butterflies.

The hockey uncles and baby Olive TOTALLY steal the show. We get cameos from all our favorites and we get tons of time with our hockey heroes to come, including the delightfully goofy and and endearingly sincere rookie Graham, whom I’m already madly in love with. What a fun and captivating world Maren has built in the Totally Pucked series- I can’t wait for more!

you know me... i enjoy an accidental pregnancy romance a lot!!!! sincerely, the puck bunny was super fun, cute as f*ck, and sooo romantic. if you want to read about a hero who is completely OBSESSED with the heroine from the very first moment he sees her, read this book. he's down bad for her and i love to see it!!! yeah sir.

briggs takes a weekend off and goes to stay a tiny inn. there, he meets maddison, a girl who is hiding a secret. but after a wild one-night stand, they part ways. nine months later, briggs bumps into maddison... and she's PREGNANT WITH HIS BABY!!!! i love that book is less about the pregnancy and more about the baby you know? usually when it comes to accidental pregnancy romances, you get the whole pregnancy throughout the book, which is fine, and then you get like one or two chapters with the baby and them together. LIKE IT'S FINE BUT I WANT MORE TIME WITH THE BABY?!???! i love the cute moments, man. i love when the hero is all soft for the baby and wants his little family all together. and this book is that 10000%.

briggs doesn't really have a good relationship with his parents/family. his family is his friends, his hockey friends. so when little olive is born, he wants to give her everything, he will GIVE HER EVERYTHING. olive has him wrapped around her tiny finger and he knows it. and it's clear he wants to become something with maddison even though it starts as only co-parenting. but he knows he's going to marry her and be with her forever lololol IT'S SO CUTE HE'S SO IN LOVEEE. the boy fell first and he fell harddddd.

if you're annoyed by 1 of the mcs keeping a secret for the better part of the book, skip this. maddison is keeping a secret from briggs and she knows it'll hurt him so much so it takes so long for him to know lmao you totally know what it is since the beginning tho which is good but you're only waiting for the other shoe to drop. still, i knew they were going to fix it and be back together <3333 if you can ignore it, read it then because this book is ITTTTT.

the cutest scenes are with olive hands down. briggs talking to her and telling her she is his forever girl and that he'll protect her from anyone and everything. strapping little olive to him with the kangaroo strappy thingy. HIS HOCKEY BUDDIES LOVING OLIVE AND ARGUING WHO IS GOING TO BE HER FAVORITE UNCLE???? stop that's so cute.

With the way Change On The Fly ended, I was dying for Briggs' book and this did not dissapoint at all. This was the perfect mix of sweet, sexy and angsty.

Briggs is by far my favourite man by Maren & honestly, he deserves the world. I loved his character so much. When we meet him, he is sort of broken and defeated but so much heart and passion & love lives under his misunderstood shell. I love that when he met Maddison we saw him sort of come alive. He started to embrace himself and life more and the way Maren wrote this was so beautiful.

Maddison, not going to lie, at the start I did struggle with her. She wasn't someone I immediately clicked with, she was a somewhat a complex character but as we started hearing more of her monologue, I understood her & did end up loving her. I think she will surprise a lot of people. She had drive & her resilience to protect her child was admirable.

One of my all time fave aspects of this book were Briggs moments he had with his baby girl. I feel we don't get many scenes like this in books much, that sort of new dad/baby moments, so it was a treat and so so swoonworthy. You could tell that he wanted to be the best father to his daughter and that promise was beautiful and seeing this big alpha being wrapped around his daughters finger was just so so so cute.

This book will surprise people, Maren did a great job of keeping me on my toes. I think the sort of role reversale was done perfectly & it was such a great continuation to the new series. The secondary characters were my fave parts & I cannot wait for their own books! Especially Graham. His scenes with Olive? SWOON!

All in all, this was a wonderful read. Briggs is by far one of my fave characters ever & I enjoyed him and Maddison together, they had angst, sexiness and sweetness.

The epilogue was everything. This family 🥺

SINCERELY, THE PUCK BUNNY OUT JAN 6TH!

I won’t even make the effort to write a review, just know that I really didn’t like this. Nothing made sense, the plot line was incredibly implausible, some of the choices were unbelievably irresponsible and it just pisses me off… Are you really gonna sleep with someone you’ve known for less than 24 HOURS, of whom you basically know nothing about and not use a condom? Are you that fucking dumb or do you just not care for the risks? There wasn’t even a talk about birth control and the pregnancy isn’t even the worst possible outcome, I guess they haven’t heard of STDs. I can’t look pass the complete disregard of sexual and reproductive health, I’m sorry.

Besides… insta-love. If you know me, you know I hate that, so no further comments about it.

Also, Maddison, she was so fucking annoying and I refuse to believe anyone can be that dense, her work basically consisted on talking trash about people and she not once stopped to think about the way her articles affected the lives of the people she wrote about?

I’ll take you on a ride trough Maddison’s mind so you can see how she thinks. Her train of thought was something like: “Let me write all of these mean things about you, take part on the downfall of your existence and thoroughly ignore your privacy and boundaries, hope you don’t mind because I can’t possibly imagine how that would hurt you, xoxo, the puck bunny.”

I. HATE. HER.

On the positive side, it was short. Also, I liked the side characters and Briggs was a cutie. :D

Guess I ended up ranting, oops.

Soooo… let’s talk about how wretched the premise of this book was.

Briggs - poor, sweet tortured man is struggling, has been betrayed by all his loved ones, ridiculed by the media, and heads off to a b’n’b to hide and recover.

Enter our anti-heroine, a blogger that’s been tearing him to shreds - who pretends she doesn’t know who he is, manipulates him into opening up, misrepresents herself and her intentions, makes him feel safe and understood, then she sleeps with him and then disappears.

Let’s go over how irresponsible the author wrote them both - as they had unprotected sex just 2 days after meeting, didn’t discuss protection, or their health status. This was written in 2021 - NOT 1950. There is no fictional scenario where I can just accept that in 2021, two sexually active adults don’t discuss or use protection for a one night stand.

And then here’s the clincher - after this horrible woman leaves him - she doesn’t take Plan B to prevent pregnancy after the fact, but goes on living her life, pregnant, still keeping secrets and without even informing the MMC.

What was the author even thinking? How could anyone get behind this woman or believe that redemption was even possible? She’s villainess material and there is no way to turn this around.

Which is a travesty because this author’s writing style is beautiful and this book could have been so much more, but instead, onto the DNF - FU-for-wasting-my-time shelf it goes

I have been anticipating Briggs book for awhile and the wait was so worthy it because this story is LEGIT PERFECTION. This book follows Briggs the “troubled” guy and Madison, they had a one night stand which turns into so much more. I loved every single second of it Briggs is such a softie with his girls my heart was melting. Madison is an incredible mom and I love her character. Seeing Briggs finally find happiness and love, all the dedication he put towards his girls, he’s the definition of the perfect man. The hockey team had me laughing so much i love the found family in this series, getting to know the other guys just made me anticipate the rest of the series even more. I’m definitely a Briggs girl he won my heart from the first few chapters and this is definitely my favorite Maren book!

This is my fourth book by Maren Moore and unfortunately it was not as good as the previous hockey romances I've read by Moore.

Briggs, former NHL bad boy, is trying to get his act together. He's coaching youth hockey and working on keeping himself out of trouble. After he gets some heavy news, he decides it's best to spend the weekend away from the city where he can focus on himself. At the small inn he is staying at, he meets Maddison. The two of them end up having a whirlwind weekend that Briggs will never forget. The problem...Maddison has a secret that could ruin everything between them.

Now I did like Brigg's character. He was your typical bad boy 6'3" hockey player who really has a heart of gold and has been through some real shit and is trying to clean up his act. Maddison..ehhh she was alright. I found her a bit blah.. Like I'm even having a hard time come up with an adjective to describe her that's how meh her character was.

I could get over the boring main character if the spice is good enough, and this one does give you a few steamy scenes, but not enough to make up for the bland character. It is also a lot longer than her previous works, and I think it honestly would have been better if we trimmed out about 100 pages of nothingness. She repeated a lot of the same conversations, just with different wording.

But I did end up going with 3 stars because it is a hockey romance and I would up and leave my current life for any of the men at that Chicago Avalanches team (if Hell freezes over and somehow my husband finds himself reading goodreads reviews...hi honey..that was obviously a joke).

5 star review Sincerely The Puck Bunny (Totally Pucked #2) by Maren Moore
Maren Moore is a relatively new author to me but what I have read, I have loved. This is Briggs Wilson and the woman who changed the course of his life, Maddison’s story.
I fell hard and fast for swoon worthy Briggs a talented NHL hockey player who is so much more that just a player. From the first chapter I was totally hooked on the story Ms. Moore wove.
The chemistry between them sizzles and I loved the growth that Briggs went through in this book. I have to say I laughed out loud with the circumstances of the birth. The scenes with Briggs and his little baby girl Olive Elizabeth melted my heart. His focus and determination to be the best dad he could be was heart warming.
There were time when I really felt for Maddison and all that she was going through. I admired Maddison, with such strength and determination she deserved the happiness that she found with Briggs and Olive.
This was a well written, entertaining story that left me excited for what’s next in this wonderful series. One click this little gem, you will not be disappointed.

Really enjoyed, loved the chemistry, the drama and the ending. The side characters were amazing and need more of them.

Briggs is adorable and I loved him (even with his past)
I loved the Insta attraction he had to Maddison.
Maddison took a little for me to lover her.
And Olive stole my heart - little cutie.

Amazing read and can’t wait for more

Sincerely, The Puck Bunny is a sweet, enjoyable read with interesting characters!

I’m really enjoying these type of books that make you not want to put down the book. The characters are everything!! Briggs and Maddison both seem to get each other so well. Their first meeting was explosive and after that, things change that makes their connection spark even more. Reading their moments together was intriguing and made me smile so much.

This is the second book of the Totally Pucked series and the more I get to know the characters the more I love them. Briggs and Maddison’s story is not only sweet but it also brings the angst! Aside from all that the side characters keep getting more intriguing which I love! I can’t wait for the rest of the stories ready to be told.

Universal

Briggs has had a time of it. His brother and fiancée betrayed him, his father turned his back on him, and there's an anonymous blogger who has it out for him, reporting things about him that aren't even related to his hockey career. Then a big bombshell from a one night, and yeah, life's turned upside down. Now he has to decide if he can be the man he should be for this wonderful new part of his life.

Damn but I was so not expecting the emotional intensity this story, and Briggs, would bring. I wanted to hug Briggs from the first page - he was so wounded and hurting, with no good way of healing, no way of releasing all the pain he was experiencing. Then when Maddison and Olive came along, he could have turned his back like a lot (of jerks) would have, but no, he showed his true colors, which were wonderful!! He's one of the best heroes I've read in a long time. He's downright swoony with a very tender heart, and he loves fiercely, both of his girls. Maddison was so relatable with her insecurities, and even when she made a huge mistake, she owned it and redeemed herself. I think these two (three) and their story just may be my favorite of all of Maren's writing now, and have me anxiously awaiting Uncle Graham's story now!

ARC!

- Embarazo sorpresa
- Segundas oportunidades
- Romance de deportistas (hockey)

4/5⭐️

So, I liked this book and I didn't like this book.

I love the character Briggs Wilson. He is such a charmer and loved his arc in this book. The first half of this book was amazing. I loved the connection between Briggs and Madison. It's hot and fun, I enjoyed them bonding over a bottle of tequila. Their chemistry and connection really worked wonders for me and I really enjoyed reading about them falling in love.

The second half or so was just meh for me. The surprise pregnancy trope is not my favorite, but also Maddison kind of annoyed me when she wouldn't be honest with Briggs.

I def recommend this book if you love hockey romances, pregnancy tropes, enemies to lovers.

Overall: 3.25
Spice: 3

Yeah… well… I seriously don’t know what to say… I was kind of enjoying it in the beginning but then… I just wanted to end it…

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a few good things with this book it’s just that overall… yeah I wasn’t feeling it.
I really enjoyed Briggs and I was liking the whole (GG but for hockey) blog thing but I felt like the plot did a whole wrong turn and that was almost all forgotten.

And to be honest, I hope the next books have another trope besides unexpected/secret pregnancy. Maybe I’m feeling kind of tired of this series because of it? I seriously don’t know but I didn’t connect with this book at all.

This was an okay read but I guess I was expecting something different 🤷‍♀️

My first read of 2022 and once I started I couldn’t put it down, Maren delivered yet another binge worthy book for me. This book is so adorable, witty, heartwarming and is absolutely perfection.

Briggs is so dang swoon worthy! He literally won me over within the first few pages. (Definitely a book boyfriend)

Maddison is beautiful, strong willed and I enjoyed her so much. Xoxo

Briggs and Maddison are chefs kiss 💋 perfection I enjoyed them so much!
You will definitely want to add this to your TBR of 2022! Who doesn’t love hot hockey daddies?

Briggs was meant to be a Daddy in so many ways and his moments with his baby girl definitely melted my heart 🥺.

The secondary characters and all the friendships are some of my favorites I love their bond and family they have created.

Maren has really out done it with this and I’m swooning even more for this whole series.

This was absolutely the best book to start my year with 🙌

3.5* I honestly was very hesitant at first when it comes to this book because of the title. However, the term “puck bunny” is not referenced as it usually is in sport books which I appreciated. I find it hard to read and enjoy books that include degrading women & using degrading terms in them. I was pleased that this book didn’t use it in that way.

Olive was adorable as hell! I loved reading an actual baby as they’re usually toddlers. My favourite part of this whole book was Graham - he was absolutely adorable and so bloody funny. I can’t wait for his book and to see him in full DILF mode😫

Most of my highlights from this book is Graham LOL I love him so much

surprise preg/ hockey H/ strong h/ sweet

Ooooo man…. This book gave me ALL THE FEELS! This was just soooooo good honestly!

-Briggs our H is a hockey player whose been through the ringer! He’s trying to bounce back after a few years of falling apart and barely keeping it together. He is strong, a little alpha and so sweet and swwwooooonnnnnyyyy
-Maddison our h is a sports journalist whose secretly writing a sports blog bashing… you guess it. Briggs and basically makes his worse days- worse. Lol she’s strong, independent abut very real and kind
-Surprise baby trope- I LOVE this bc it’s hard to find books where pregnancy happens before the epilogue and we get to see the baby. This one you don’t see the pregnancy but we do see from birth on and how these two become parents them selves and reconnect.
-SPOILERRRRR: Basically they had an amazing connection and a ONS and they don’t see each other again until 9 months later with a chance meeting and yep- her water breaks
-The side characters in his book were great and make you love them! I can’t wait to read grahams book honestly lol
-All TBR daddy moments made my ovaries explode ok? Their is nothing sexier than a man and his baby and Briggs being olives daddy was 🥰🥰
-This felt very real. The angst, the fighting and make up and I was CRYINGGGGG lol. I mean it was breaking my heart during their separation (like 9 days) bc they were both so heartbroken and hurting.
-their was no OM/OW drama. He was all in from the moment she saw her.
-HEA, Satisfying ending with an epilogue they reaches their daughters one year birthday.
-Written super well I could not put this down!
-standalone- I have NOT read book 1, although after meeting that couple I’m intrigued and may go back and read it.

This book was sooo good. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars ⭐️ was bc the H wasn’t very possessive and even if my H isn’t JP alpha-y he’s gotta have some possessive tendencies for me. Their was like a moment of jealousy but it was light lol. And maybe I’ll add that star bc honestly I loved this book. Okay yep just added it lol. I usually only 5 star books I would absolutely buy and read over and over bc it just is that good and consumes me lol.

“𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏? 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆. 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒃𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆.”

When I tell you how much I loved this book, I am not kidding. This book was straight fire!! Daddy Briggs is just *chefs kiss.* He’s so caring and attentive while being his hot self. He deserves to be loved and ever since he became a father he become an even better man. I’m so glad he found Olive and Madison. This man 🥺

This book was also wicked funny! I literally laughed out loud when Briggs, Graham, Asher, and Hudson babysat Olive for the first time!

There were definitely times where I wanted to shake Madison and demand her to tell Briggs everything, but I can understand her reasoning. And in the end things worked out for them.

You guys. I cannot stress this enough. You NEED to read this book! I’m also so excited to see what Maren has in store for Graham’s story next!!!
