Every pack needs an alpha , but what happens when you don't want the job and everyone has to answer to you without question. Even when other wolves are against you . Its a hard line to hoe but these female alphas are here to prove them all wrong and fight with those fights that will prove that she can handle anything that comes their way .

These are a collection of paranormal and urban fantasy stories with a a great twist to them . The main characters are all fearless women who come into their Alpha powers and honestly don't want the powers at first but come into them and take them on fearlessly . They are all well written and complex and you will love them .

I liked the stories in this anthology , I really liked SHE WOLF by S.K Gregory . Aria has run away from the pack and all she wanted to do was sing .Until the day she gets kicked out of the band and find out that her dad the alpha and her brother are dead . Now she is on her way back to Stone mountain to take what is rightfully hers and honestly does she want to be back and see the people she hurt . Will she be the alpha she knows she can be or will she give it all up and run away again .

I truly love Aria she is one of those women who know what she wants even if at first she doesn't want it . She is a tough cookie when push comes to shove she will fight for everything and everyone . Her mom is a card she may be tough but she is still in mourning but like her daughter when push comes to shove she will fight for family . Ryan is her best friend and the sweetest guy out there but he has been hurt and he is not ready to get involved with someone who is just going to run . These characters are very well written and complex .

This is a fun fast read and the characters are very well written. The author takes us on an emotional rollercoaster . I truly liked this story very much and couldn't put it down . There were some funny times and then there are times where you will want to keep them safe when things start to go awry . I wish the story could of been a bit longer to flesh out the characters more . So if you want a fun read check out this anthology . Your fall reading list will love you for it

Title is misleading

Well, I've only made it about halfway through the first book on the anthology: Wolf Song by SK Gregory. I'm not sure how old she is but she still pouts like she's 15. She ran away, is upset her band got a deal without her- granted they don't seem very nice- and she's blaming misogyny calling her aggressive. Ok. I'll give her that. Most industries are misogynistic because many are male controlled. But she knuckles under at every chance, too. Not exactly standing up to the man. She shirks responsibility and has little control of a wolf she called ugly- her wolf. She also gets upset every time someone reminds her she left. I'm not finishing and I'm moving on to the next.

Queen's Gambit: Kat Gracey
Oh, wow. I made it 3 pages. She just learned about her dad's death and that she's going to be the first female alpha. Although, I don't understand this. Because this pack seems very patriarchal and his son was already gone? So wouldn't he have already made plans for a successor? Anyway, as her mom's explaining this she's checking out betas and winking at them. Subtle. No slut shaming but maybe wait until after things have settled to get your groove back? And she's now the power but worried about convincing the elders? Who's in charge?

I was going to go on to the next but I think I'm just going to turn this back in. The next is just a handful of pages. The one after that is just 4 chapters. Anthologies usually lead with the strong stories first. The title did not deliver.

Four stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This review is for Wolf Song.

Aria is a singer who loses her career and father and brother in the same night. She's informed she's the new Alpha of the pack... but she doesn't want it. This story is about Aria's transformation from a self-centered brat with anger issues into a badass who can protect her pack- as alpha.

I thought it was well-executed, full of action and intrigue, and romantic. Four stars.

important bits:
no virgins
no OM/OW
no cheating

I recieved the story of Alpha Queen by S.K. Gregory, in this book. It was a short read but to the point. Follow Aria as she is forced to return to her park after her father and brother dies. She wants out to be a singer, but can she make it as that or will her obligations make a choice for her? Can she give the Alpha title to someone else? Who is after her pack? Can she help protect it? Or will she give it all up?.

Reviewing She Wolf by Ashlee Sinn
3 1/2 Stars.
Hate is an ugly thing and it makes people do ugly things! Natasha as well as other Shifters have been called to a meeting of the International Shifter Coalition. The humans who want to wipe out all Shifters, Truthers, are getting bolder. In some cases, deadly and the betrayals run deep!
This novella sets up the picture for a BIG showdown but ends in a HFN.

Review is for She Wolf - Ashlee Sinn
I have read all of Ashlee's stories and what I truly appreciate the most is the sense of duty and honor that is the underlying strength. She Wolf is no different. Natasha's purpose is made very clear when she is the lone shifter to see just how deadly and devious the purity factions are prepared to become. This is a very short and brief look into an established series.

While I've only read She Wolf by Ashlee Sinn, so far, I like where this set is taking me. Exciting read, full of drama, danger, betrayal and strong family bonds really made this story a page turner for me. So much tension is stretched between the joys of family and pack that I really was on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for the next book in this series and now I'm going to dive into the rest of the set ;D Good fun!

I love to read anthology’s as it has different authors# and books in one. But She Wolf by Ashlee Sinn was a great story as Natasha was to go to a meeting that sage was sure to be boring. But after arriving she found out that she was wrong as it was going to be full of drama! Now she has to figure out what’s going on and how to fix things! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
