Saw this one in the Billionaire Bestsellers on Amazon and decided to give it a read. This is a new to me author although I love instalove romances.
Mia is on a wilderness trek with her nieces equivalent to Girl Scouts. She is a total city girl and very unprepared for the woods. She gets separated from her niece after a debacle with a canoe and is found by Cyrus. Of course he claims her on sight.
Very well written and fast paced. Takes place over a period of two days. Plenty of romantic smut. It was quite a enjoyable quick read.

I gave this one 3 stars mostly for the amusing heroine.
Mia agrees to go on a group camping trip for her niece, despite being a city girl who doesn’t know the first thing about being out in nature. Girl, I felt that! I’ve given up on trying to be an outdoorsy person. Unlike Mia, I don’t even try to go anymore—my family goes camping without me and I’m fine with that.
Unfortunately, Mia doesn’t do a lot to prepare herself:
The story was cute for what it was, but the fact that Cyrus was a virgin AND a billionaire at his age was a bit much for me. I would have liked it if he were a regular guy rather than a super rich dude, but that’s just my preference. The heroine is somehow a fancy NYC lawyer at 26. Clearly these people are overachievers and belong together, 100%.
If you like super OTT, hot billionaire dudes and breeding kink, this one may do it for you.

I did try to prepare by watching a few YouTube videos, but videos about how to set up tents and tie certain knots were too hard to follow, so I put Stranger Things on instead.”Fortunately, her ineptitude leads her straight into the path of Cyrus, who takes one look at her and is obsessed. Dare I say, this may have been a bit too OTT in the insta-love department for me.
“I want her to fall in love with me and never leave. It’s asking for a lot, but I don’t know how I’m going to survive without her. Life has felt so different since she showed up. There was a heaviness in my bones that I lived with for so long and didn’t even realize was there.”“Life has felt so different…” Dude, chill your balls. You’ve known her for like three hours! This was before they even did the dirty. After that, the guy was toast.

As is expected from this author, things get a little crazy and a LOT wicked hot! 🔥🔥🔥 I was amused by many of the over-the-top occurrences that popped up throughout the book, especially that final epilogue. 😂🍆🎉 (Note to those at home: that is NOT what should be worn when chopping wood! Think of the splinters. OUCH!)

If you're familiar with Olivia T Turner, you'll know she writes pretty over the top - not quite "Jessa Kane unhinged" - but close. This one is super insta, super horny, both are virgins - oh and he's also a billionaire because why not. Honestly I had a lot of fun with this one, logic be damned.
In fairness, this is one of those books where it's hard to separate the narration from the story. The female narrator (Meg Sylvan) was hilarious and I'm not sure if it would've read as funny in my brain. Mia is very indoorsy and I felt seen.

I’ve never even been in a canoe. I tried the rowing machine at my gym once, but I couldn’t read my magazine with the constant moving, so I gave that up real quick.
I did try to prepare by watching a few YouTube videos, but videos about how to set up tents and tie certain knots were too hard to follow, so I put Stranger Things on instead.
“Oh, look at that tree!” I say, pointing at the line of trees. “That’s a Demogorgon tree.”
Violet turns to me with a skeptical look as I nod in encouragement. “Demogorgon?” she says with a raised eyebrow. “Isn’t that from Stranger Things?”
Shit, she’s only nine. I didn’t think she’d know about Stranger Things.
“Oh yeah,” I say with a hard swallow. “I guess the show named it after that tree.”
“What’s your name?” she asks me.
“Cyrus Colt.”
She laughs.
“What?”
“It sounds like a cartoon villain. Dun dun dun, it’s Cyrus Colt!”
“You’re telling me that you’re crazy rich and can travel anywhere on the planet for your vacation? Any beach, villa, or hotel in the world. And you choose to forgo every luxury known to man to stay in the mountains?!”
He takes a deep breath and exhales long and hard as he looks at me. “I guess that’s one way to look at it.”
“Have you ever been to a beach resort?” I ask him as I shake my head in disbelief. “They’ll just give you slushy alcoholic drinks with these adorable little colorful umbrellas on them! And everyone is so nice! It’s incredible.”
“I like it out here,” he says.
I look down at the dead rabbits in his hand and cringe. “Why?”
“Let’s start with something easier.”
“Like making a tent out of branches?” I suggest.
He sighs as he looks at me. “Like reading a compass.”
“People still use those?” I say, scrunching my nose up. “But everyone has GPS on their phones.”
“Not out here they don’t. And GPS can be turned off. How are you going to get around if that happens?”
“Uber?”
“What else do you want to learn?”
“Making a fire?” I say with a shrug. I don’t really want to learn how to make a fire. How hard can it be with a lighter? I just want him to keep that shirt off and creating a lot of heat with a campfire should do it.

I watch with unblinking eyes as he grabs the back of his shirt and pulls it off in one perfected motion. It’s all smooth hard muscle. Everywhere. My knees go a little weak as he tosses the shirt behind him and picks up the axe.

This is a very short novel about a city girl, Mia, who unfortunately fell off a waterfall and got lost in a forest. She survived then met Cyrus, a seemingly 'mountain man'.
This one has instalove trope on it. They fell hard at first sight and was cringe all the way. Lol. XD
Mia wasn't a likeable character for me. I was actually glad she fell off the waterfall because of her absurd reaction over a fly. *peace* The ML is bland and flat, just an obsessive and stalker-ish guy.
This one doesn't have a plot. I think this one is just sm*t. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy reading this one. :(

She knows I’m hers and that she’s mine. How could it be any other way?
I've enjoyed reading Ms. Turner's stories for years but I think she's really been outdoing herself with the last several she's released. I loved this one a lot. Most know I'm a sucker for the dual virgins with an obsessed alpha and this one checked both of those boxes. No abuse, no cheating, no real OM/OW drama. The majority of the story only covers a couple days with "I love you's" said within 24 hours of meeting but it doesn't feel rushed. We are talking about the wonderful world of insta-love here. So if that's not your thing, pick it up anyway. It's a good quick story. Epilogues at 2 years and 20 years. Keep up the great work OTT!!

Mia is not an outdoorsy person. She goes on a hike with her niece and outdoors troop, but she ends up canoeing over a waterfall and leaving everyone behind. Cyrus, the big mountain man, comes to her rescue.
This was very ott but I loved every second of it. Olivia's books are the best.

Olivia did it again with this hot, completely over the top, insta-everything story.
The characters are lovable and funny while the story is short, sweet and full of heat. It definitely warmed me up while I read it during my lunch break and left me longing for a mountain camping getaway.
I enjoyed this spicy little read with all the smexy times and no drama - my favorite of Olivia’s Mounting Mountain Men series so far.

OMG!!! The spice, the OTT, the way I fell for Cyrus, just like she fell from that waterfall. In love with this book. I do hate going on camping trips because of bugs mostly, but when I tell you, I would let mosquitoes bite me if only I could find a mountain man like Cyrus, I'm not lying. I loved the book, but couldn't help but hate that damned woman, the leading scout, Carla.

First I'd like to say that I read the first two books in this series before tackling this one, and maybe because they were written with time in between they did come across slightly different.
I did like this story, but unlike the previous two books, I found that I didn't like the female character as much in this one.
I get that she is supposed to be your typical city girl but I wasn't a fan of the stereotype.
I mean I liked that she wanted to be there for her niece which was a lovely side to the story but I don't know, she came across as immature in a way, even though she was a lawyer.
She just came across as childish and annoying at the beginning, leading to her accident that allowed her to meet the male.
Some parts did make me chuckle at some of their interactions and her trying to be brave but failing but I can say I did enjoy the male character more.
He came from the city like her but his character didn't come across as judgemental or naive, he seemed able to take her for what she was and understand her 'quirks'
I can happily say that maybe the second half of the book the female did do some redeeming of her character, but I honestly couldn't get past the lack of worry about her niece, that she allowed their steamy scenes to allow her to forget and then also allowing the heated moments to delay her from getting back to her niece (I guess that's just the auntie in me coming out)
To be fair though, the epilogue saved her character, you could finally see her better and I loved how close their relationship became and getting to see a glimpse of her future, and getting to see her niece again made it all worth it.
I think I also would have liked to see her be able to stand up to the leader of her nieces wilderness group and considering she had a Jo of working and basically looking after the group of kids and their adults she just seemed to... well suck as a person and I think I would have liked a little bit of karma for her, especially after being mean to the female and flirting with the male, and maybe seeing him make it clear that he was taken and happy with the female.
All in all the mountain man storyline was really good and written well as it allowed you to actually envision each scene easily in your head.

My favorite OTT!
I loved this story! Believe it or not, this is an insta-love, damsel-in-distress, opposites attract, drama-filled romantic comedy!
Cyrus and Mia’s love story doesn’t disappoint. Their chemistry is off-the-charts HOT, of course because that’s a guarantee in all of OTT’s books. As an added bonus, the story is adorable, with a great supporting cast in Violet, Mia’s sassy niece for whom Mia is making the ultimate sacrifice by camping with her. Then there is Carla, the purple people eater, who is convinced Mia is an alcoholic.
Trust me, that this is story is laugh-out-loud, funny with all the usual OTT yumminess. You’ll fall in love with Cyrus and be jealous of Mia, the city girl who hooks her mountain man at first glance.

She knows her limitations, in theory, but when her niece invites her along for a camping trip, she should have just said no. However, you will enjoy the disasters she creates or endures, so feel free to laugh uproariously.
When our hero, Cyrus, runs into Mia, he identifies her as the one he wants for his own. Both fall for each other very fast. But I had trouble picturing these total opposites being able to fall like that. Will she be able to adapt to the mountain style of living? Will she find happiness in this totally different lifestyle?

instalove/mountain man & city girl/ quick
This was actually really good. I wouldn’t say he’s OTT but he’s super possessive and it’s insta-everything so it’s pretty OTT IN GENERAL like most of these Instalove quickies are.
-Mountain man H whose rich and comes to wild to get some price. Instalove for the h and wants to breed her
-City girl h whose camping with her niece for a girls scouts type thing. Gets swept away in a current in a canoe and gets lost. Our H finds her.
-i laughed so hard at the h before she meets the H y’all. DIED! She killed me and I loved it. Sadly I didn’t laugh again
-smexy little scenes
-Quick but over all good

Cyrus and Mia are opposites in every way but they are perfect for each other. Mia was a little bit annoying but thanks to Cyrus, she was able to embrace the outdoors. Instead of Cyrus getting annoyed with Mia and her reluctance to the outdoors, he thought it was funny and loved it and her. There is a lot of steam, tension, obsession, and funny moments in this book. I really enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Olivia as a must read author.

Definitely a light and funny read that kept me greatly entertained the whole time! I love how clueless Mia was at times but she never gave up trying to learn how to do wilderness things for her niece and the way Cyrus teaches Mia about survival skills left me enjoying how quick their relationship was blooming.

Mia is a lawyer in New York City. She hates the wilderness. Mia agreed to accompany her 9 year old niece Violet for the Young Adventurers Club weekend. Mia is not ready for this weekend. Mia is a 26 year old virgin who has never been interested in having a relationship. Violet has claimed the fastest canoe for Mia and herself. They have a two hour canoe ride to get to the camping spot. Mia is wearing flats and she has her laptop with her. Mia has been trying to kill a black fly that has been nipping at her for 1 1/2 hours. As they pull up to the beach the fly lands on the canoe and Mia tries to hit it, she drifts off and is carried down the rapids and then the waterfall. Mia finally gets to shore and she sees a huge mountain man coming at her and he is carrying two dead rabbits. Cyrus owns a 15 billion dollar hedge fund company in New York City but he spends half a year in the wilderness living in a cabin. Cyrus has never been interested in women until he sees one coming out of the lake by his cabin. Cyrus knew that she was the one. Cyrus fell in love with Mia at first sight. Mia is scared of Cyrus at first but she does think he is pretty hot. Mia falls for Cyrus and they end up having sex and giving up their virginities together. Cyrus wants Mia to stay with him. Will Mia stay with Cyrus? Will Mia find her way back to Violet? Will Mia go back to being a lawyer? Will Cyrus and Mia spend half a year in NYC and half a year in the wilderness? Will Cyrus and Mia find love and happiness in the wilderness?
