You know those books that give you all the warm fuzzies, like biting into a freshly baked chocolate brownie, this is one of those!

I literally read this book in one sitting last weekend! It is fast-paced and gets you so invested in the characters lives you don't want to stop! It's real, about family, life and love and a good sprinkling of suspense to keep you on the edge of your seat!

A fabulous rural fiction that has a real wholesome feel and characters that are so real, I could picture them as friends!

Arabella Peterson wakes from her coma to the handsome new doc in town, Carter McCarthy. If only she had a chance to pretty herself up a bit! What a sight she must be! But it appears its not required because there is something about Arabella that is stirring up feelings in the doc too!

With her memory lost for what may only be a temporary condition, Arabella is unaware that she had revealed feelings to long time best friend, Lucas before the accident until her sister, Grace reminds her at her hospital bedside, but Arabella cannot remember what she said or how she felt about Lucas and her feelings for Carter grow stronger as she gets to know him.

But Carter has a past that may hold him back from moving on and giving him and Arabella a chance!

Will the planets align for Arabella and Carter? Grab a copy of Dancing with Dandelions to find out!

A story that you can become immersed in, the characters so familiar you feel you actually know them, they came alive. I laughed and cried and couldn't stop until I'd finished the last page. Love, drama, family, Aussie camaraderie, what more do you need. Looking forward to the next one, highly recommend

After a horse riding accident leaves Arabella in a coma, she wakes to the handsome Dr Carter McCarthy. Arabella is faced with new ordeal, she lost a portion of her the memory. She can no longer remember the accident or remember that she was madly in love with her childhood mate Lucas. Lucas who also works with her and her sister on her families farm.

Carter McCarthy turns up in the Yass Valley, on a whim purchased a small property. Trying to leave behind all the haunting and painful memories of his life in Canada. Nothing ever stays in the past! After meeting and caring for Arabella, she breaks the wall. Bringing back a flood of memories that Carter is forced to deal with, helping him more forward with his new life.

Stockman Bill Marthick a patient at the hospital, known for his loyalty, hardworking. He enchants Cater and they becomes a trusted friend, leaving a lasting impression on Carter. Bill's neighbors Arabella's farm, he and his wife become a second parents to Arabella and Grace after the sudden death. Bill's death entangles Cater and Arabella paths together as they work through life challenges, will they become closer? Will they see how much they have common? Will they acknowledge there is an intense spark between them?

I stumbled upon Kelly Cameron on Instagram via my favorite author Susan Mackie. Susan Mackie edited Kelly's novel, Susan would dropped the most tasty little bits of the novel, which had me wanting to know more. If Susan Mackie says add this to your 'To Read List' (TRL) you listen.

Kelly Cameron held me captive, she has the most wonderful characters. They feel like your besties. I got so emotional evolved in their personal lives, making it easy to lose myself in the lives of Arabella and Carter. I adore rural romances, the settings of farms, horses, drought and flooding raining. Kelly takes you there, your on horse back checking fences, while sopping wet. Your in the gardens of the old church, seeing the every detail that's before you. You feel the fear, your heart breaks and you will get frustrated "why wont they just....."

I look forward to the second book in the Yass series.

I spent the day with this book, and all the characters in it. When I finished I felt like I had left good friends behind. Full of family, love, drama and the Aussie small town life, this was a 10 turn of 10 read. I cried, sobbed and laughed through the twists and turns and small mystery and the situations felt real. The characters felt real and I was so happy for Ara and Carter to have their happy ending and I hope there are more books to come to tell me how Grace , Sophie and Myah end up. Truly one of the best Australian books I have read in a long time.

I was given an ARC through booksprout for an honest review

As many of you know I am a big lover of rural romances & rural fiction, with my absolute favorite being when they are set in Australia. This is the first book that I have read by Kelly Cameron, and it definitely won't be my last!! What's even better is that this book is the first of a series, so I can continue to learn more about all of the characters that I have grown to love. I must say I am one of those people that often wishes books don't end, so that's why series are so good haha!!
'Dancing with Dandelions' ticked all of the boxes for me - a beautiful slowly growing love story, interesting side characters and main protagonists, a sense of community and a well described landscape that I could compare to where I live or elements of my own life, as well as a few mysterious little details that kept me on my toes until the end. I highly recommend this book!
Thank you to Kelly for my gifted copy.

This story held me captive! I was savouring the authentic setting, well-written characters and budding romance until the last twenty percent, which I read in one big gulp to find out what happens. Horses, dogs, farmer sisters and a hot new doctor from Canada. Wildly enjoyable.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I have to admit, this book took my by surprise. I was not expecting loving this book as much as I did. Her writing style is so believable and will make you feel like you’re right there with them.

Carter and Zara were amazing to read about. I loved the side characters as well. Trust me you’ll want to go in this journey of difficult situations, love, twists, drama and family. You will laugh, cry and want so much more. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

A beautiful read filled with many interesting characters. I enjoyed Ara and Carter's internal conflicts as she recovers from an injury and he begins living again after the death of his fiance, but I also liked that there was a lot of external conflict. The story was lovely with a lot of emotion between the various characters, a sweet romance, and a happily ever after.

Book review!

Dancing with Dandelions by Kelly Cameron

Dancing with Dandelions is a must-read rural romance.

Arabella wakes up from a coma and finds herself faced with a handsome doctor who is new to town. Carter feels attracted to Arabella upon waking, which surprises him, as he hasn't felt this type of attraction towards anyone, apart from his wife. Carter's grief is raw, and he learns to work through his new feelings. Arabella has forgotten some important details of her life prior to the accident. These details could make or break her relationship with her best friend.

The characters are warm and their relationships genuine. Kelly's writing style is compassionate and thoughtful. Her characters' experiences with grief, love and loss make for a touching story.

The location of the Yass Valley is perfect. I loved reading about the family farm that Grace and Arabella run. The descriptions of the breathtaking views and country life are captivating. I loved reading about the animals and Arabella's love of horses. Kelly's personal experience living in the country and her appreciation of life on a farm is evident in her writing.

The narrative is intriguing and Kelly Cameron's writing made Dancing with Dandelions a page-turner.

If you love Nicola Marsh's rural romance novels, you will love Dancing with Dandelions. I am excited to read Book 2 in the Yass Valley Series. I would highly recommend Dancing with Dandelions.

Thank you @susanmackieauthor @therealfarmers_wife for running such a wonderful competition. I feel so blessed to have won the two Yass Valley books!

Dancing with Dandelions was a poignant story. It had magic written throughout the book, with the way the characters were intertwined with each other. It also touched on so many different situations that occur throughout life that made the story even more beautiful.

This book, truly is one that makes your emotions run throughout the storyline. From tears, feeling scared, feeling the intensity of love growing, to new growth and to moving forward from pats.

Kelly has written the story to show how life can be changed in an instant and how the characters in the book moved on, made it all very real.

Definitely well worth reading.

Set in the hills of Yass Valley around the township’s of Murrumbateman and Yass, based around a working sheep and cattle station, the ups and downs of everyday farm life in the bush comes to life. You cannot help but fall in love with the two main characters - Arabella and Carter. With Arabella being a farmer and Carter being the hot Canadian doctor at the local hospital, their worlds “collide” when Arabella is seriously hurt when thrown from her horse. You see their relationship blossom from friendship to love.
Such a touching story that is thoroughly engaging. You just want to keep reading and reading. Well done Kelly - absolutely loved it! Now one of my favourite authors!
Highly recommended 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I came across this book by pure chance.
Having been born and raised in Yass, I obviously had to read it.
Knowledge of the landscape made it very easy for me to immerse myself in the story, completing it in a night and a half.

I very much look forward to book #2.
