Aurora Rose Reynolds writes the kind of insta love that works for me. I’m a little behind on this series, but I kind of just jumped right in there. I liked the romance, the ‘boom’ and the way the couple met was interesting. But the suspense part of the book was a little unbelievable to me. Still, I liked this one and the ‘Until’ series is always one I recommend if you’re looking for a light, easy, insta-love romance!

Was excited to go back to the Until series but idk this book didn't work out for me. Which sucks.
May girl is catfish on a dating app and when she's saving someone guess who helps her.. Aiden our hero and his picture her catfish used so she's alittle hesitant and trying to figure out is he the catfish? Or he has no clue someone used his photo? Or he was at the right place right time.
There is alot of tension between them when they see one another on vacation with there friends and family. She gives him a chance but still keeping that wall up and explains to Aiden why she's like that. As for Aiden he's showing May he isn't like the guy she talked to. But it seems like alot of ppls are trying to ruin there hea. From Aiden mom and sister (for the moment), this stalker who shot at them, someone almost ran over Aiden.. it felt like drama after drama. I felt so bad for them. That I did skip many pages because I was tired of the on going drama. At one point even a almost leaked sex tape between Aiden and May could've gotten out...
Beside that I wanted to smack both May and Aiden they were frustrating... in the beginning and middle... maybe if they toned down the drama.. i would have loved it... I hope the next until series is abit better.

I used to love the Boom world and I still love the earlier books but this fell flat. There was a lot of filler in my opinion:
“May walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She started the coffee maker. She fed her cat. Plucked her eyebrows and thought to herself that maybe she needed a haircut. She slipped on a banana and found her purple dildo.”
May is shy and gets cat fished on a dating site and later meets the actual man whose picture was used. They’re both attracted to each other but other forces are testing them. Will their budding attraction fizzle or blossom?
May and Aiden were both too watered down and I found the secondary characters annoying. Neither May or Aiden had any real defining characterizations and I found Aiden was missing that classic alphaness I’m used to seeing from Aurora.
I didn’t think the intimate scenes were all that hot or dirty and May acted mousy. The plot was predictable as these boom stories do follow a formula. Mostly, I just found myself bored while reading and thinking about the clothes I needed to move to the dryer. And that’s despite ALL the drama in the book. So much drama. If you like this world, you’ll probably enjoy this one but don’t expect a passionate and emotional masterpiece.

I haven't read one of these books in some time,but the original with the parents of May,Until November ,remains my favorite,nothing beats those two.
Sadly, I did not feel the BOOM in this one ,but the hero was all out the possessive alpha type about his girl.

Aurora Rose Reynolds is my top go to author. Since the first time I picked up Until November I have been obsessed (probably a bad choice of words for any of the Mayson family romance). She just writes exactly the type of book I want to read.
The characters are always beautiful, amazing people I wish I knew, and the stories have me so invested in what's going to happen next I can't put them down. Which is a blessing and a curse, because I get a book, I love but then I have to wait forever for the next one to be written.
May and Aiden were awesome, and I really loved the circumstances that they met under. Of course, May being a Mayson means they are destined for happenings and hijinks and I spent the whole book going back and forth on what I thought was going to happen next. Aiden was, of course, a growling, possessive, protective alpha hero to add to the swoon.
I seriously loved it. Add in the secondary characters and the perfect epilogue and I want to go back to the start and read it all over again for the first time.

Loved being back in the Until world - specifically the books written by ARR herself. May is probably the quietest of the Mayson sister's. Her Mum and Dad are November and Asher from Until November.
Aiden was a highly successful soccer player but his career has been cut short. May thought she had connected with someone but it wasn't what she thought it was but fate had her own plans and May and Aiden cross paths in unusual circumstances. I liked these two together - they bring out the best in each other and their chemistry is H.O.T.
This story had everything I love in Aurora's books and she delivers it all so well. Passionate connections , some tense moments, humour and that underlying strong family theme.
It works as a standalone , but I highly recommend the original Until series and the spin off Until Him /Her books.

Considering this whole series is a HUGE INSTA LOVE world, and when you accept that as a must have, you don't really pay attention to it anymore...LOL, I actually liked the main characters very much, and no, surprisingly enough, this wasn't such an INSTA LOVE thing...and it worked just fine! *wink*

2 Be careful what you wish for ⭐
Ugh… I thought I was over ARR’s standard formula until I got May and Aiden. This one is missing what I have come to expect… a feisty Mayson girl paired with a crazy possessive alpha.
May is cut from the same cloth as December except she’s even more quiet, shy, meek. (boring) She lacks the confidence her sisters possess and makes for a SLOW-moving relationship leaving Aiden to not-alpha-ly tip toe around her anxiety… and that was no fun.
There was no chemistry or passion… this is supposed to be her BOOM. I thought at least there’d be some drama from the blocking the flow of women his mother keeps sending his way teased in the blurb, but nope. That was nothing at all.
The only drama comes from the person trying to kill the H and even that felt boring because they were so blasé about it.
Bottom Line- This was a dud for me 💤💤💤💤 I thought both mc’s were boring, the drama was boring, and everyone gets magically forgiven. I accept we’re supposed to understand how gentle, sweet, and forgiving May is, but letting people (his sis and mom) off the hook immediately without them even proving they changed is not being nice… it’s being a doormat. And the “comeuppance” the “bad guy” got after attacking (could’ve killed) 3 people was laughable… and after it being main conflict the entire book was dispatched quickly at 94% off-page. There’s a short epilogue +2 months and + 4 years.
Random- I don’t remember May being insecure/wimpy in the previous books. I feel like she got a new personality… kind of like April did for her book.

Aurora always writes a book that is so romantically sweet and not too heavy to read😍 Many times if i read a bad book or a book I don’t like, i go straight for aurora books… Especially this one has a series of the big family of mayson that started with Until Asher. My favorite of that series is Until Nico ❤️❤️❤️ So if you want to read a romance that is not too heavy and not too long, just romantic and beautiful then read this one! This for sure will definitely be a great book for you. At least for me though lol.

May Mayson signed up for a dating app thinking she has finally met the one only to be stood up and then find out the picture of the man whose photo has been looking at is a famous soccer player. Being catfished is a huge blow to her self esteem and she decides single life is just fine for now. That is until she ends up meeting Aiden Bender, the ex-soccer player and he makes his interest known. He feels connected to May, May wonders if it's too good to be true. That all changes when it looks like May has a stalker, Aiden isn't going to let her go he knows she is the one. Can they figure out who is after May before it is too late?
This was another absolutely wonderful addition to the Until Her/Him series. May is the shy one in the Mayson family. She is adorable, she has a back bone that she uses quite a bit with Aiden. Aiden is smitten from the get go, I really enjoyed this couple and am curious is some of the side characters will get a book. 5 Stars.

AAR is one of my comfort authors, I re-read the “boom” books when I need some romancing & love at first sightings. I would say this was a 3.7* good but not great 😕 I get the sense that AAR is running out of ideas… but I hope that’s not the case

This is my favourite author and series, but this book fell flat for me. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it didn’t give me the excitement and feels likes previous books had….. 🤔 with that being said, I’m excited for Noah and Bri’s book

I don't know what it is about this authors books. They have a great mix of sweet romance and alpha males. You get just the right dose of jealous and possessive behavior, but never over the top. Every time I pick up a book in this series, I know I'm going to enjoy it...and I did with May and Aiden. The ending on this one fell a little flat with the plot twist, but I don't even care. I liked this couple enough to not even need that little twist in the end. As always, I'm looking forward to the next on in the series.

Until May was the eleventh book in the Until Her/Him series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The series was a spin off from the original Until series.
May was the last single daughter to November and Asher Mayson, (book one, Until series). She was a high school librarian and pretty shy. She hadn’t dated much and wasn’t the hook up kinda girl. Her best friend convinced her to open an online profile on a popular dating app and things were going well until they weren’t. After being catfished, she shut down again.
Aiden Bender was a former professional soccer/football player until his career ended in an injury. He was home in Tennessee helping his dysfunctional family when he met the skittish May. He was determined to break through her barrier, although she didn’t make it easy.
I read Until May in one sitting. It was a quick and delightful read. I enjoyed both characters and Reynolds even added a little suspense to the storyline. The conflict was anti climatic, in my opinion, but enjoyable none the less. Additionally the cast of characters were fun and full of promise. We’ll see more of the Mayson cousins as the series progresses, but hopefully we’ll see some of Aiden’s former teammates again as well.

This one was very cute. I really liked Aiden from the start, loved how smitten he was with May and didn't stop talking to her despite her saying she wasn't interested. Sure that sounds bad, but he was respectful about it and not creepy. In fact, when creepy things were happening to May, he stepped up to help her. I also really liked that Aiden didn't let what could have been a problem, his family, become one. Instead he did what he had to to protect May from them.
I liked how this one ended, liked that the threat against May was taken care of and these 2 could live their lives happy.

May is a librarian who is most comfortable between the pages of a book and is convinced try the world of online dating. After conversing with a man online she if ready to meet him only to find out it was nothing but a lie and that the man she thought she was dating had no idea what was going on.
A career ending injury has Aiden back in his hometown to help out at the family business. Although he and May met under less-than-ideal circumstances he is enchanted with her and determined to prove he is nothing like the man she met online but as the chemistry escalates between them so does the danger.
May is cautious after what she has just been through, but Aiden is charming and not about to let anything come between them. Hot chemistry, a little suspense and a swoony romance that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.

May Mayson gets catfished on a dating app with the pictures of a famous soccer player. A few weeks later she comes face to face with Aiden Bender the man from the pictures but she's not sure of it's a coincidence or he's trying to play her. Aiden has just moved back home to Tennessee after a career ending injury and is helping with the family business. Aiden was smitten with May the moment he met her but May kind of disappeared on him. Once again May and Aiden run into each other while on vacation and they start to get to know one another. Getting back to Tennessee, Aiden and May start seeing each other even though they had to overcome May's insecurities first. This book wouldn't be an Until book without some outside forces trying to break up the happy couple. May had a stalker but she had zero idea who would wanna hurt her or Aiden. May and Aiden were a cute couple, he truly cared about her and wanted her to be happy and she gave him a reason to want to stay in Tennessee and make roots. May was shy and bit unsure of herself but she was such a nice woman and always tried to keep the peace. Aiden's mother and sister weren't that great at first but eventually they came around. I do wish we had more interactions between Aiden and his father and to see them mend their relationship. I was glad that December and Asher made an appearance and be amazing parents to their girls. I liked the story overall, May and Aiden were a nice couple but it seems as if something nefarious always has to be happening to the couples in order for them to get their HEA. I enjoyed all the cameos in this book and I can't wait for the rest of the Mayson clan to get their happy endings.

Hier findet nun endlich May ihre zweite Hälfte.
Und ich liebe sie und Aidan, und ihren Weg vom ersten Aufeinandertreffen über die anfangs bedächtigen gemeinsamen Momente bis hin zum Ich-liebe-dich und Ich-lass-dich-nie-wieder-gehen.
Es war total süß, und hatte gleichzeitig diesen typischen ARR-Story-Charakter.
May ist die ruhigere unter ihren Schwestern.
Sie ist so ein zartes, sanftmütiges Wesen,
dem eigentlich alle Männerherzen zufliegen müssten.
Doch in Sachen Dating hat May keinen Erfolg.
Als Bibliothekarin und Buchliebhaberin verbringt sie daher viel Zeit mit dem Schwärmen für fiktive Helden - immerhin können diese ihr nicht das Herz brechen.
Obwohl Aidan als Ex-Profi-Fußballer keine Probleme hat weibliche Gesellschaft zu finden,
hat bisher keine sein Interesse geweckt, oder gar sein Herz berührt.
Doch als er May kennenlernt, die nicht nur selbstlos, sondern ungemein warmherzig ist,
ist es um ihn geschehen.
Aidan kämpft mit starken Willen um Mays Zuneigung und ihr Herz,
und hat auch meines für sich gewonnen.
Es gibt natürlich auch ein Wiedersehen mit Mays Familie,
und auch Aidans spielt eine größere Rollen.
Die Handlung folgt ansonsten dem unverwechselbaren ARR-Storyverlauf.
Es gibt wieder diesen typischen Spannungsmoment,
der jedoch nach elf Bänden mit ähnlichen Geschichten, schon sehr vorhersehbar,
und dadurch für mich eher das unausweichliche Übel auf dem Weg zum Happy End, war.
