A fan service yuri for kinks I just don't get.

Namekawa is trying to act like a tough punk as she enters high school so she won't get bullied the way she did in junior high. But she is quickly targeted for sexual harassment by a harem of girls with particular fetishes. Tojo likes to lick her. Ayase likes to sniff her. Inukai wants to make her a pet, with visions of collars, leashes and cages. And apparently there will be a new suitor next volume who is sure to have her own perversion.

The chapters are just an endless cycle of Namekawa acting tough for a couple panels and then being humiliated in some manner.

There are a couple moments of actual sweetness hidden in all the garbage, but I don't think I have the patience to pick through the trash of future volumes to find them.

Buh-bye!

Awkward and bullied in junior high, Namekawa reinvents herself in high school, but her newfound delinquent ways draw the gaze of the disciplinary committee head and her gaze is a lot more predatory than Namekawa (and this reader) would like.

In its own special way, this yuri comedy is a huge step forward for equality. I mean, why should shonen series be the sole realm of smutty ecchi with the female lead frequently being sexually assaulted in various ways?

Just to be clear, this is not a good story. It treats its lead like garbage when all she wants is a fresh start. It IS funny how incredibly hapless she is at actually being mean and those parts of the book are pretty funny.

Heck, there ARE good gags in this one. The useless teacher who is now a total shipper for her female students is great. When somebody else gets added to Namekawa’s harem mid-story, the scene of her having her revelation is treated like she’s just cured cancer, also great.

There’s even a brilliant junior high visit that activates two good friends to think of becoming something more, just in time for the madcap nonsense around them to nip it in the bud. This is the absolute best sequence in the book and it’s drawn hilariously well. It’s not like this can’t be good.

But then there’s everything else.

I would like to think a good editor could have reined this in, but the disciplinary committee head is a predatory lesbian of the worst order and almost every story revolves around her forcing herself onto Namekawa and literally licking her all over. No, the title is not just figurative.

For fans of this sort of exaggerated to the max comedy, you’ll be fine. Anybody who finds this vaguely uncomfortable? Don’t worry, the story’s only getting started. Other perverts keep getting added to the harem, so Namekawa has people violating her, sniffing her, and trying to train her to be a caged pet by the end.

It’s exasperating because this story is funny when it isn’t going for this crass humour. There are some great bits here and none of them involve Namekawa face-down covered in drool, which happens more than once. Her proving her bonafides and climbing a tree to skip class, only to not be able to climb down? That’s good enough without the committee head jumping into the tree to punish her.

Honestly, I wish it was completely terrible so I could just write it off entirely. Instead, I get to lament the good stuff that is entirely overshadowed by some of the most unlikable characters I’ve come across in ages.

Even worse, the last couple bonus manga that turn things just a little bit sweeter? Really cute! The puppy one is adorable and the marathon one would be perfect if it didn’t imply that Namekawa is masochistic enough to find this palatable, which the story has done nothing to establish by that point.

Like some of the most dire comedies I’ve read, this one gets the idea that pushing things to their extremes will eventually make things funny, but it doesn’t get the point that crossing the line serves no purpose except to alienate a chunk of your readership.

2 stars - somebody will probably like this and if it was turned down even just to 10 instead of 11, it would probably be a lot more tolerable. But the devil for this one is most definitely in the details and, even with some very clever parts, I can’t imagine another volume of this just because of how icky this one felt.

Okay, I don't usually give a series 3 on the first volume as I like to let it breathe and a chance to set the series out.
Let's start with the good parts
Namekawa is a really fun character. Her reactions are quite funny, and her personality is adorable
The others? Let's not talk about them. Not one of them have given me any reason to remotely root or even like them.
The art is really good also!

I'm not sure I'll continue past the three volumes I have. If this is how the series will be throughout, I do really like Namekawa, but the others really are putting me off.

I've read series similar where a main character is bullied and / or teased by the other, but those have more to them for me, but I shall see when I read the next two.

UGH!! WHY IN 2022 ARE WE LICENSING SERIES THAT ARE CLEARLY NOT GIVING A CHARACTER CONSENT??? It just annoys me. The concept of this was super cute, and I liked the art well enough. The second our Disciplinary Council head steals Namekawa's panties, I was just done. It wasn't funny, it was uncomfortable. I was on board until that point.

Little too one-note; would have liked a bit more continuity and character development. Which, to be fair, is not what the manga seems to be interested in; if I was reading it serially in a magazine rather than all at once, I'd probably have taken to it better.

This is hilarious. You have got to read it!

Pe4rvy discipline girl, a girl with a human pet fetish, a girl obsessed with her classmates smell, and a wanna-be tough girl walk into a high school, and things will never be the same!

To be honest this is probably maybe a 2 1/2 for me I did laugh a couple times but that was really about all the enjoyment I got out of this some of the characters are just kind of creepy I don’t want to judge people off their fetishes but this just came off as overly aggressive at times and none of the characters really had any like development whatsoever it just seem like they were given one characteristic and that was it and that’s just how they went about going there’s not really too much to this the artworks nice but all in all I just found it kind of flat and boring if you’re looking for a yuri manga There are much better out there than this.

Lads, this GL literally made my jaws almost break because of how absolutely stupid and over the top it is. We always see FL have her own Yuri harem (usually I don't like harem but this was except so..) always hounding her and having WTF moments. I do wish tho we could see actual spicy scenes instead of FL always drenched with water at the end of every chapter when they say it's to do with licking...wtf?....

Anyways if you need a over the top manga, this one's for you chaps!

Posting after having completed volume 4: I'd say this yuri-gag manga series is worth the read if you're looking for something light and mildly trashy (but not *too* trashy). It's definitely not something to take too seriously, but it's got some heart, I think.

I gave volume 1 a 3-star rating, but each volume after got a slightly better rating, I enjoyed how the series ended, and honestly, the series (especially after volume 1) ended up becoming a 'comfy' read-- the sort of thing where you can read a couple pages at a time in between chapters of other 'heavier' reads.
