This is not Good. Luckily, I don't think anyone is picking up a book titled VAMPS looking for great literature. What they probably are looking for, and certainly what I was expecting, is trashy teen fiction that is equally exasperating and compelling, which is pretty much what this is.
This is a pretty easy read. It's light, sexy, with minimal thinking and maximum nudity. It's exceedingly silly and just a little too modern YA to be pulpy, but it still hits a lot of the good trashy novel notes. I genuinely enjoyed the characterisation and treatment of the vampires - these are proper vampires, that drink blood, have compulsive appetites, and bang like it's going out of style. They are utterly true to vamp stereotypes and literary archetype - although with absolutely zero depth or subtext - and all the better for it. This book is a hair's breadth from being a carbon copy of every other trashy media about rich teens being dramatic little nightmares, but because of its laser focus on vampires it manages to avoid it and instead is a very fun vampire story with some pretty good world-building. Expect explicit sex scenes, intense bloodlust, chaotic bisexuals being chaotic, violence and haughty arseholes; these are not sanitised vampires for the puriteen crowd, these are the true heirs to Dracula's coffin.
The entire book is in dire need of, among many things, a fact checker, but in many cases the things said and scenes displayed were so absurdly wrong or ludicrous it worked in the book's favour, forcing you to shut up your brain and get on board. In particular, the tattoo/colours scene was so beyond stupid that I had to essentially block every thinking part of my brain to continue, and the spectacular ridiculousness lent it a truly pulp-ish air of pure entertainment.
The writing was shaky, and at times quite bad, but it was mostly passable and pretty on par with a truly trashy novel (assuming the basic grammatical and proofing errors like duplicated words get ironed out by publication). The only real problem I couldn't get past was the portrayal of Ireland, which was totally hilarious but borderline offensive across the whole book (which would've frankly been much better had there not been what I can only assume is some kind of stereotype bingo leading to at least one national Irish stereotype from gangland 50s media desperately shoehorned into every scene - although I will say it provided endless mirth as I tried to explain some of it to my friends).
Honestly, this book is pretty bad, and I would recommend it. I will 100% be reading the next one, and I might even buy a nice series boxset once they're all out to go on my vampire fiction shelf. This is my kind of terrible, trashy fiction.

War okay - die Idee ist super aber der Schreibstil der Autorin ist noch nicht so ausgereift. Die Konversationen fühlen sich so aufgesetzt und unnatürlich an. Es war alles sehr langatmig und am Ende auf den letzten 50 Seiten ist dann gefühlt alles passiert.

I loved the new world created here, and the interesting relationships between the students.
My only issue is that this ends a little open and me thinks there will be a series developed from this.
I don't normally grab books in unfinished series (or I try at least) and there was nothing alluding to this becoming a series.
That said, I will definitely read any other books she decides to write in this world!

No sé por qué lo leí, sabía desde el inicio que no me iba a gustar. Aun así, no me gustó, pero no por los motivos que pensé que lo haría, creí que sería una historia muy tonta y divertida como Anhelo o algo por el estilo. Sin embargo, la historia se sintió como el relato que escribiría una persona de 15 años para que sus amigos lo leyeran en el colegio.
Dillon es mitad vampiro, el primero en mucho tiempo nacido de una mujer vampiro y un humano, lo descubrió hace poco y ahora debe ir a la exclusiva academia Vamps para aprender a controlar ese lado desconocido de él.
Este libro me resultó sumamente indiferente, al punto de que no sé por qué existe o por qué alguien creería que trae algo interesante al mercado. Es que ni siquiera me resultó divertido, solo... algo a medio terminar sin profundidad que no editaron, porque no tenía ni un poco de sentido. El mundo de los vampiros era increiblemente superficial, en las primeras páginas me presentaron a una docena de personajes cuyas relaciones con Dillon tuvieron cero desarrollo.
Para mí fue una historia aburrida, las clases no tenían nada interesante, las pruebas para las que se prepararon durante todo el libro parecían bromas, lo mismo que el viaje al centro de ski. No lo sé, fue tan extraño lo poco construido del libro, que realmente sentí que estaba leyendo algo escrito en un cuaderno que un estudiante creó mientras estaba aburrido en clases. Hubo cero construcción de mundo, profundidad en los personajes, desarrollo de personajes, química entre los personajes, la acción era incluso más aburrida que los diálogos.
Prácticamente todo el libro son los personajes conversando, de fiesta, "enamorándose", peleando y compitiendo por "destacar" en la academia. Para ser un primer libro, la introducción de los personajes resultó extraña y apresurada, pero luego todo el libro fue una gran introducción en la que no pasó nada. Solo Dillon enamorado de su compañera con una historia trágica, un pobre intento de descubrir qué es lo tan especial en Dillon y no sé qué más, de verdad.
No pensé que todo el libro sería la preparación para la prueba en el lago, que tampoco fue que se prepararan mucho o que el clímax vendría de un viaje al centro de ski, porque fue tan poco interesante como suena. Además, el giro del final sobre la madre de Dillon fue tan predecible porque no había otras opciones, según yo, a menos que inventaran un personaje de la nada.
Vamps es un libro que desde el inicio supe que no sería bueno, pero creí que podría ser divertido. En mi opinión el mayor problema es lo superficial y poco construido que es el libro en todos los aspectos, parece que ni siquiera pasó por un lector o un editor previo a ser publicado.

This was.. not what I was hoping. Elite vampire school? Sounds awesome, right? It should be. Right from the beginning I had a feeling I was going to have trouble as Arend kept name dropping the main character, Dillon, as well as his dad, Gregory - rather than calling him dad. We don't really need his name as many times as it was written and it just made it confusing to keep straight who's who and who am I following through this book, because I know it's only one of these guys. It didn't really get better from there. A million characters are introduced in really quick succession and almost none of the presented personalities help to differentiate or identify them. Jeremiah became a big character throughout, and I just could not remember who he was supposed to be from the beginning introductions.
It also bothered me that everyone is super rich and entitled, but their personalities aren't always consistent. The very first night, everyone seems like they were going to let Dillon go to a fancy dress event in his sweater and jeans, because he does not own a suit. Then, randomly, at the last minute, one of the selfish rich guys offers to let him wear his spare suit. But these guys never really act like friends or even really interact the entire rest of the book. I just didn't buy it. The constant mentions of Dillon not coming from money, but everyone else is super lush with it, felt like it should have been a bigger deal and made Dillon more of an outsider, but it felt super forced in the way the character interactions were actually written.
The events all feel very choppy - no smooth transitions. I swear, one chapter it was almost Christmas, and the next it was March and school was ending. For a vampire school, I don't feel like there was enough time spent focused on the learning, I never got a sense that anyone was learning and progressing, I was just expected to believe they were. The school is supposed to be condensed into just the winter months, which seemed really weird to me and did not really seem to make sense for how things were written. If these young vampires need to learn control among various other things, why are they only in school a handful of months out of the year? What are they supposed to be doing the rest of the year?
Speaking of choppy events - that ending? Someone just wanted to write twist after twist without any realistic explanation. I did not buy character motivations - and this could very well be because Arend decided to add so many dang characters she never knew what to do with them, so as a reader, I never really got to know them or even care about them. Even the vampires Dillon is in most contact with: Jeremiah, Sade, and Cora.
Overall, this story could have used a lot more planning, more editing, and someone to tell Arend to cut back on the characters for bigger, more believable effect. I was really disappointed with what sounded like an amazing idea - could have been the new House of Night, but fell totally flat. I will not be looking for book two.

At the beginning we were introduced to too many people too quickly, they all arrived at the start one after another and the whole scene seemed really pointless.
The conversations seem stiff and don't flow well. The scene at the start made me feel weird as they were drinking from their teacher (in erogenous places as well.) I get that they were trying to state that vampires were sexually empowered but I just thought that was a weird boundary crossed.
I don't like that its in 3rd person, there are so many characters I am getting confused by which 'he' they are talking about.
The MC seems to have two romantic interests, but I have no idea why he was so into Cora. She was manipulative the whole time and stringing along two guys for her own gain. I didn't like her at all.
The only character I liked was Angelo, he was flawed and his personal development was good. All the other characters were clique and unlikeable.

W sumie to nawet spodziewałam się, że ta książka może być lekką klapą. Ale za bardzo kocham książki z motywem wampirów, więc niech stracę.
Autorka ma niesamowitą zdolność do snucia opisów. Te są bogate, przyjemne i naprawdę dobre. I to w sumie największy atut tej książki, w moim odczuciu. Bohaterowie są kartonowi przez 70-80% historii. Większość z nich posiada jedną cechę na krzyż, której się trzymają niemalże do końca. Dialogi są tak wymuszone i nijakie ("jezuniu", "kurczaki" - poważnie? XD), że czasami nie wierzę, że główna banda wampirów to pełnoletnie "dzieciaki". Dodatkowo, jak są zapisane te dialogi! Bohaterowie niemalże przez większość czasu na siebie krzyczą, dosłownie. Mamy dialog - Dillon szepcze coś do kogoś, a mimo to jego wypowiedź jest zakończona wykrzyknikiem. I nie wiem, czy to problem autorki, która nie potrafi poprawnie zapisywać dialogów, czy znowu tłumacz polskiego dał ciała, dając się ponieść wyobraźni. Niemniej okropnie to drażni.
Ostatnim zarzutem jest to, że książka została napisana w stylu, który przywodzi mi na myśl vibe książek sprzed dekady i dalej (takich Pamiętników wampirów choćby). Albo wattpada. Czy ta książka miała swój początek na wattpadzie? Nie zdziwiłabym się, ponieważ na starcie jako czytelnik zostałam zarzucona masą niepotrzebnych informacji nt wszystkich bohaterów: kim są, jak wyglądają, jakie ekskluzywne ubrania noszą (z uwzględnieniem konkretnej marki, bo o tym nie można zapomnieć!) i jak bardzo dojeżdżają głównego dampira za to, że jest dampirem, do tego "biednym". No nie, nie czuję tego.
Końcowy plot twist dało się przewidzieć już w połowie książki, więc i tutaj nie było większego zaskoczenia.
Raczej odpuszczę sobie kontynuację.

I loved this read! I think my favorite thing about this book is that the main character is a guy being introduced to the Vampire world rather than a girl. This is adult. More college scene than high school. Dillon is a Dhampir entering an elite school for Vampires called Vamps. And, of course, he fairly quickly runs into trouble from right at the beginning to the very end!
I really enjoyed this! It was a fun read and just the perfect cozy Vampire book that I always like.

Wow from the beginning to the end this book was amazing! Anyone who loved the crave series or Vampire Academy would enjoy this book. I Was not expecting the ending! I can not wait for the next book!

Hou jij van vampieren en een academy setting?
Dan is dit hét boek voor jou!
Dillon wordt opeens door zijn vader naar de vampieren academie, Vamps gestuurd.
Het blijkt namelijk dat hij een dhampier is (half vampier, half mens) en zijn moeder die hij niet kent, een machtige vampier is.
Nadat hij 18 jaar een prima rustig leventje had bij zijn vader, wordt dit opeens helemaal omgegooid.
Zal hij zich op den duur toch thuis voelen op Vamps met de andere vampieren?
En nog belangrijker; weet hij zijn innerlijke vampier in controle te houden?
Een aantal weken geleden begon ik al aan dit boek, en kwam ik net aan op de helft en merkte dat ik niet echt goed in het verhaal zat.
Begrijp me niet verkeerd; de academie was boeiend en de schrijfstijl vlot, alleen pakte het me op de een of andere manier niet zo en ik kan er niet precies mijn vinger op leggen hoe het nou kwam.
Misschien kwam het door de lange hoofdstukken en ook misschien wel omdat het heel anders was dan ik verwacht had. Zelf dacht ik namelijk dat het meer “dark academia” vibes zou hebben (want ja, mijn brein linkt vampieren aan een duistere setting)
maar het was juist het tegenovergestelde; het was allemaal mega modern.
Toch besloot ik vandaag om het boek weer op te pakken, en vloog ik er wel weer snel doorheen door de pakkende schrijfstijl en de toch wel interessante setting van de school.
Het was interessant om te zien hoe dit vampieren systeem in elkaar zit en hoe ze hun bloedlust onder controle leren te houden in de lessen die ze volgen.
Vooral het einde had een interessante twist die me in zijn greep had, ben hier daarom toch wel erg benieuwd geworden naar het vervolgdeel!

Het was interessant om te zien hoe dit vampieren systeem in elkaar zit en hoe ze hun bloedlust onder controle leren te houden in de lessen die ze volgen.
Vooral het einde had een interessante twist die me in zijn greep had, ben hier daarom toch wel erg benieuwd geworden naar het vervolgdeel!

¿Qué puede esperar uno de un libro que se llama, literalmente, VAMPS? Pues no mucho, pero a veces el cerebro te pide leer cosas sencillas en las que una no tiene que pensar. Y, aunque tengo que decir que he leído el libro porque me lo ha mandado la editorial (a quien se lo agradezco), yo no recordaba haberlo pedido (pero también os digo que debí de hacerlo), lo he terminado entero y eso es un hito.
En parte creo que me dio una especie de morriña con las historias de vampiros que leí en mi juventud y quise ver de qué iba la cosa. Pero, como era de esperar, este pobre libro ha pasado sin pena ni gloria por mi pila de lecturas mensuales.
¿Creo que es un mal libro? Creo que es un libro que hemos leído cientos de veces, con la salvedad de que, en este caso, el protagonista es un muchacho y no una muchacha como suele pasar en este tipo de libros. Pero, si cambiáramos el género del personaje, su presencia y peso sería exactamente la misma. Y no hay cosa que me dé más rabia que un personaje principal que no tiene carisma, ni identidad propia. Y ¡ojo¡ no digo esto porque el libro no haya entrado en mi lista de libros recomendados, si no porque esto mismo es algo que me ha pasado mucho con los personajes femeninos de Brandon Sanderson (pero esto es para otro día).
Así que tenemos un grupo de personajes jóvenes, que aunque claramente todos tienen una personalidad distintiva, lo que realmente representan es el sello de la casa de «tipos de personajes en una saga juvenil». Es decir, tenemos lo de siempre con otro título y color. No he visto que existan personajes con una moralidad gris o que las necesidades de unos o su forma de pensar realmente tengan algún peso dentro de la historia. Al contrario, sigue un esquema muy característico de este tipo de novelas.
Tenemos un Anhelo conoce a Vampire Academy en los picos suizos y con una idea de worldbuilding bastante interesante, pero que se queda un poco en nada. No diré que esto no se pueda explotar, pero en este primer libro he sentido que era más una forma de introducirte al mundo (sin usar a Dillon como hilo conductor) con una serie de clases de Vampiro de Pico Uno y con una trama que básicamente se desarrolla en ¿los últimos tres capítulos?
Eso sí, el libro se lee en nada. De hecho, el primer día que lo tomé ya me había leído la mitad de la novela, porque es muy rápida y ágil. Pero luego perdí el interés rápido porque, realmente, no hay intriga de nada en concreto. El gran misterio es ¿quién es la madre de Dillon? y es tan evidente que da un poco de pena.
En cualquier caso, creo que es un libro que se puede disfrutar tranquilamente una tarde que no se quiera pensar y nos queramos introducir en una historia de fantasía de vampiros suave, con algo de romance y misterio. No diré que es terrible, porque tampoco creo que sea así, pero claramente es un libro con el que yo ya no conecto de la misma manera porque estoy mayor.
Y cuanto más leo, más exquisita me pongo.

This book has a horrible disequilibrium between complete sincerity and utter silliness. It combines real-world elements with fake ones, without ever interrogating anything at all, it seems. For instance, one of the only characters of color at this vampire school in the Alps is rich because his father owns gold and copper mines in Latin America. He’s meant to be one of Dillon’s best friends, a confidante, and a character we’re meant to like. Where his father is a baron of extractive and imperialist industry, it’s rare that the author delves into the backstories of the other characters - the characters that we are meant to despise because they are opposed to Dillon - or connects them with the rotten gains of colonialism. Every character is described as being supernaturally beautiful, and also skinny - the language changes but they are slender, toned, lean, thin, and so on. Where the male vampires are allowed to be bulky with muscle, all the female vampires are designated as skinny and thin - and that’s implied as part of their supernatural beauty and allure. It appears that Nicole can’t imagine preternatural beauty without it being explicitly attached to thinness, or musculature.
And the whole trajectory of Jeremiah is made worse when he is one of the people that betrays Dillon at the end. What is it meant to say that the only male character of color commits this violation of trust with “the animosity radiating out of him”, in order to uphold a wrongful declaration of guilt against Dillon? And though this turns out to be all fabricated by Celeste, the vampire who always railed against misogyny among vampire society, I think a point still stands here. Also apologies if you care about spoilers I guess.
Whenever the narrative tries to take itself seriously, it falls so short it’s almost painful. I can’t figure out why Cora is so special, or worthy of both Dillon and Bram being so into her - except that she wore Docs with a sheer green dress at a party. She doesn’t really exist as a person, but rather an obstacle and a target of Dillon’s misplaced lust. He has more vampiric power when he’s around her, or touching her. She is a mere conduit for conflict and his empowerment rather than anything of substance. Sure, she apparently had a vampire brother who was kicked out mysteriously, but we’re not given reasons to care, nor is this plot advanced often if at all.
A simple sign of there being a sincere attempt at worldbuilding is in the use of capitalization, of random designations that are mere steps away from being utterly foolish. “Vampire Medicine” exists, even though it is simply licking someone because the special saliva will heal wounds. There is a “Vampire Secret Service”, which is implied to be very powerful and behind many things in international politics, such as the disparaged “Havana Syndrome”. How? Vampires have powers over electromagnetic signals of the mind, which in attempts to sound scientific during the Enhancing Mind Power course, sounds more like an advertisement for a product on Goop’s website, rather than anything to be intimidated by. Vampedia is an online resource that only vampires can access because it’s ~encrypted~.
I’d be more able to write this off as being a silly, campy novel, except for every time it tries to have significance by linking us back to the real world. At every point, it really makes it obvious that Nicole isn’t necessarily trying to write a silly novel at all, but rather one that should be taken seriously. The long awaited and secret “Ice Challenge” turns out to involve a drone being used by “a rogue vampire group who use them to smuggle cocaine and black-market blood”. This type of alleged action is diluted because just pages before, you’re faced with the stupid acronym “VIVs” for “Very Important Vampires”. It’s a wonder to me that this was published, and even more so that the editor described it as containing “alluring sexiness” with “an edge of danger”.
Also. The ending was stupid as hell.

➽ VALE. Cuando compré este libro sabía que no iba a ser la lectura de mi vida (pero a mi perfil me remito. Vampiros? Pues por supuesto que sí). La verdad es una academia de élite de vampiros sonaba demasiado bien en mi cabeza, quizá me esperaba un estilo dark academia, quizá quería revivir mi adolescencia (no me escondo, fan Nº1 de crepúsculo en su momento), la verdad es que no lo sé, pero desde luego que no ha sido el dinero mejor invertido.
➽ En general diré que el libro se lee en un suspiro, es la típica lectura en la que no tienes que pensar demasiado. Tanto es así, que el gran misterio que se presenta a lo largo de los capítulos es el suceso más predecible de la trama.
➽ Los primeros capítulos parecen una competición de cuántos personajes seguidos se es capaz de presentar, la lectura avanzaba y yo no sabía quién era quién ni aunque me pagaran 100€ por adivinarlo. Y la verdad, ninguno de los personajes consigue tener peso en la historia (si me apuráis, ni siquiera el protagonista).
➽ Los saltos entre los capítulos no tienen sentido, de repente Navidad, de repente Marzo, de repente el final salido de la nada. UF, Nicole, dame contenido, porque yo pongo ganas pero así es imposible enterarse.

No puedo decir que esperaba grandes cosas de esta historia, esperaba justo lo que me ha dado: una historia adictiva que se lee en un suspiro sin hilos argumentales complejos que te mantiene pegada al libro.
𝗩𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗦 nos transporta a una escuela de élite para vampiros y nuestro protagonista, Dillon, va a ir como pollo sin cabeza desde la primera página. Al cumplir los 18 se entera de que es un dhampir, medio vampiro, medio humano y que, por deseo de su madre (a la que no conoce) tiene que estudiar allí.
Al empezar, la autora nos presenta a demasiados personajes a la vez y, sin saber muy bien cómo, Dillon se encuentra rodeado de vampiros adolescentes clasistas, mimados, con dones especiales y con las hormonas revolucionadas.
Dillon tiene que lidiar con muchas cosas nuevas y, aunque podría haber sido interesante verlo desarrollarse, lo cierto es que no es así ya que “por instinto” parece que acaba siendo bueno en todo, cosa que a mí me aburre bastante ya que no hay una tensión real en la trama, no me hace “sufrir” por él y no he visto evolucionar al personaje.
La trama es simple pero con un puntito de misterio, por lo que el libro se lee en nada. En el libro hay romance, aunque yo no lo he percibido como tal y aunque hay una atmósfera muy sensual alrededor de los vampiros, no hay escenas spicy como tal.
En definitiva, un libro entretenido con personajes muy variados con su puntito de misterio, de romance y un plot twist final que sienta las bases de la saga.
Yo creo que le daré una oportunidad al segundo, ya que esto me pasó con Anhelo y luego disfruté mucho los siguientes, así que si os apetece algo entretenido que no os haga pensar mucho, ¡es vuestro libro!

Główny bohater to obrażony na świat bachor który tupie nogą na wszystkich którzy się z nim nie zgadzają, choć ma cenną krew robi z siebie ofiarę i rozpacza nad laską którą dosłownie zmusza do porzucenia swoich ideałów żeby mogła z nim poprowadzić nastoletni pełen ognia romans. Wydaje się, że autorka w ogóle nie wie jak młodzież do siebie mówi, brakowało mi jeszcze tylko "slay" co drugie zdanie. Nie tłumaczono tekstów typu 'fuck' albo 'yeah, baby' ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ czemu?????? To ma być cool, młodzieżowe i tak dalej? Bo ja musiałam przejść się po pokoju.
Idea fajna. Książka niezobowiązująca. Koło wampirów to to nawet nie stało.

Ik wou deze echt leuk vinden, maar helaas. Het begin zat voor mij al meteen tegen met een gehele dump aan personages. Hierdoor wist ik zowat het hele verhaal niet wie er nu eigenlijk aan het woord was. De personages hadden wel allemaal hun typerende (en cliché) kenmerken, maar toch bleef het voor mij erg wazig. De clichés waren voor een keer dus wel handig, maar de vele personages droegen niet bij aan de leeservaring.
Het concept van dit boek is tof, maar de uitwerking bleef voor mij achterwege. In het hele verhaal komt er steeds extra info bij over de vampiers, alsof het haast ter plekke wordt verzonnen om het praktisch te maken voor de verhaallijn. Ondanks alle info, weet ik nu eigenlijk nog niets over de hele vampierwereld - wat een heel gek gevoel is.
Bovendien is het boek erg seksueel getint - wat voor mij echt geen meerwaarde is voor de verhaallijn. Het voelt ook allemaal erg gehaast.
De limited edition is wel absoluut prachtig, maar de inhoud was voor mij helaas wat minder.

This book could’ve honestly been three stars because I didn’t ever think of quitting but I think that had more to do with the fact that it’s about a vampire school than the plot itself.
I felt like the writing was pretty juvenile (which it is YA so) and had too many things occur that were a little too convenient like Dylan’s ability to pick up on peoples thoughts sometimes when they happened to be thinking important/shocking information. Additionally, I felt like the ending came out of no where, there was not a lot of foreshadowing or lead up to the big reveal and one of the maybe most intriguing betrayals turned out to be mind control or whatever so it was reversed which cheapened the whole thing.
I also despised the love the triangle, it was not done well at all. Also Dylan could be quite annoying.
Needless to say I don’t think I’ll pick up the sequel (never say never when it’s a book about vampires tho :/)

I went into this book without any expectations and I liked it. Obviously it wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read and maybe better for a younger generation but nonetheless I enjoyed reading it. It was a quick and fast read. I’d recommend it especially when you’re in a reading slump or inbetween other books.

Niespodziewanie Dillon dowiaduje się, że jest w połowie wampirem. Ojciec postanawia wysłać go do Vamps – prestiżowej szkoły dla wampirów. Niestety jako dampir stale wzmaga się z nieprzychylnością rówieśników oraz własną niewiedzą o ich świecie. Jednak w jego grupie znajdą się też jednostki, które okażą mu wsparcie. Wsparcie, które w ostatecznym starciu będzie na wagę złota.
Szczerze mówiąc przez pewien czas miałam dość ambiwalentny stosunek do tej historii. Nie da się bowiem ukryć, że przeważa w niej leniwie rozwijająca się akcja oraz nieustanne próby dostosowania się do wampirzej społeczności. Niemniej jest to również nieco zabawna historia o inności i o poznawaniu siebie.
Już sama kreacja Dillona robi tu dobrą robotę. Od samego początku wzbudzał moją sympatię, dzięki czemu stale mu kibicowałam, a sposobem bycia ubarwiał nawet nużące sceny. To nie jest jeden z typowych postaci, która w nowym środowisku jest kompletną niedorajdą albo mistrzem w każdej dziedzinie. Wampiry są dużą częścią popkultury, towarzyszą nam od dawna i są różnie przedstawiane przez różne środowiska. Każdy autor i artysta ma swoją własną wizję, jednak łączy je jedno, krew.
