Broken Heir is book three in the Ruthless Warlords series by Alison Aimes. This series is so dark and twisty. But it is also sweet and full of hope and love. I have been so excited for Alexi’s book and it was everything!
Alexi Skolov is the most broken of the Skolov siblings. He spends his time in the pleasure district and always comes home smelling of all sorts of illicit things. But he has volunteered to travel to the Sartin compound because that is where the path leads to finding their missing brother that was stolen from them when he was an infant. By promising to wed one of the Sartin daughters, he will be able to enter their compound to search for clues. Now all he has to do is keep himself under control and not let anyone see what he truly is, a beast. All of these goals go out the window, though, when he first catches her scent. From that moment on, SHE is all he wants.
Keira Sartin is the defective daughter of the family. Told repeatedly that she is worthless. Because of this, the alphas in her family freely discuss things in her presence. Unknowingly giving her much needed information she can use for her own agenda. An agenda that does not include the very sexy alpha she meets. The same alpha she later discovers is supposed to marry her younger sister. All she has to do is stay away from him which proves much more difficult than she imagined.

Alexi and Keira together were scorchingly hot. But they also were so much more. They were the missing part of each other they didn’t even know existed. As always with this series, we are kept on the edge of our seat from page one until the very last word. I am continually surprised at the amount of love these Skolov siblings share and never hesitate to show one another in the dark world they exist in. I believe it is this love, this commitment to one another that always pulls them through.
This has a perfect epilogue and we are also given just a hint of the next book, Filthy Royal, which will be Damien’s book.

The mischievous, “carefree” character who is fighting serious internal demons is my favoriteeeeee kind of love interest.

Keira and Alexi are probably my favorite couple of the series. They’ve not had it easy in their respective lives, but with the other’s help, they set each other free (literally in Kiera’s case, figuratively in Alexi’s).
I appreciated that Keira was realistically afraid of Alexi’s berserketh alter ego at first. She stops fearing it when she realizes he’d never hurt her, and for most of the novel, Alexi is more fearful of it than she is. His inner monologue about how much of a monster was did get repetitive (and significantly lengthened the novel), but otherwise, the pacing was great.
We finally get some answers—and new questions—to the overarching plot to the series. I love a conspiracy, and there’s plenty to go around in this universe.
With each entry I read, I fall a little more in love with the series.

The Hero: Alexi Skolov - he is another alpha male in the Anarcheim Alphaverse, and is a second brother to Nikolai Skolov, the head alpha boss of the Skolov clan in the Brotherhood syndicate. He was tasked with getting into the Sarten compound to find his brother Mikhail, finding the beta servant who took his twin siblings (Mikhail and Zaya), and to uncover any clues about the enemy who paid the beta servant to abduct the twins when they were babies. Alexi was using an alliance between the Skolov’s and Sarten’s as a ruse to get into their compound.
The heroine: Keira Sarten - she lived with her vicious uncle, Barro Sarten who was the alpha of her clan and head of the Sarten crime family. Her uncle had survived six assassination attempts and is no stranger to violence. He loves to hurt people and had a special room which he used to discipline his servants and family. She was once prime Omega to alpha Tan, but now that she was a widow she was no longer buffered from her uncles advances. Her gift never manifested so he often threatened her and marked her with his derision.
The Story: Barro Sarten was a bit worried that the Brotherhood would find out about his illicit side business that he never told the brotherhood about. Especially since they have been taking losses from thieves who had been stealing from the same side business. Though he was happy to find that the Skolov family has agreed to an alliance. Since Keira was a widow with no gifts, he chose her younger sister Callie to punish her. Though she had a plan and Barro played straight into her hands. It was her chance to get Callie away and under the protection of a stronger family before her uncles' misdeeds came back to haunt them.
Alexi wasn’t too happy to see his child bride, he liked an omega with more experience who could handle his twisted side. When he smelled a tantalizing, exotic female scent, he felt something right away and found it was Keira. He worried it was the same thing his brothers felt when they found their fated mates. Though Alexi had a past, when he was thirteen, he’d been captured and tortured by a rival gang, he had also been in love with a girl named Rose who had died and he thinks himself broken, he has a beast that comes out at times.
I liked the characters in this book. Kiera was fierce in spite of all the violence she faced from her uncle. Turns out it was Kiera who had been stealing his uncles’ omegas from his trafficking business. She would take pregnant females and remove their trackers before they gave birth, and her uncle could sell their babies. She would get 200 lashes if she was found out. Alexi was also good at heart. He stopped a guy from beating a whore even when his brothers warned him not to get involved.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via duet narration and was narrated by Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter. These two are both great narrators and you can’t really go wrong with either or both of them. Jason has a deep and sexy voice while Stella has a feminine yet intelligent sounding voice, both are perfect for these characters. I just love that more books lately are being narrated in duet narration!

Why have I DNFed every book, to date, in a series that should have been absolute catnip to me??? I can't even put my finger on why, and I've loved many of the author's previous books. Honestly, this is really starting to annoy me, because it's not like I can even explain WHY none of the couples in this series is speaking to me on any level.

I like the beginning of these books but then the alphas are always so anticlimactic in the climax. This story kind of reminded me of Beauty and the Beast or Jekyll and Hyde in a way. I'm not sure what his condition is when he turns savage, like his body literally becomes bigger... Keira, the omega is like a spy and conductor of the omega underground railroad. They have chemistry and a lot of sexual tension around each other. xP

Alexi is the broken Sokolov, one who was tortured as a child and has a beast he sometimes can't control. On a mission to find his missing brother, Alexi is in enemy territory when he scents his mate. Kiera is a broken Omega, barren and giftless. She's been covertly saving Omegas and has a plan for her sister to escape when she runs into Alexi. After spending a glorious night together they lose touch only for her to discover he's her sister's promised Alpha. Nevertheless, Alexi doesn't want her sister, he wants Kiera. I loved Kiera, a strong Omega who is still submissive to her Alpha and Alexi, an uncontrollable beast who is totally protective of his mate. The mystery of who is after the Sokolov family is an intertwining theme in the story as well. I loved Kiera and Alexi and their HEA.
I received this book from the author and I'm giving this completely honest and unbiased review.

This is the third in the author's dystopian Mafia Omegaverse; since each entry features one Skolov sibling, we're now on brother three: the most physically powerful and also the most damaged. Severely affected by cruel scientific experiments that left him with even greater-than-usual Alpha strength and an inability to control murderous rages, Alexi comes to Keira's uncle's compound to search for his missing little brother, but his immediate attraction to his fated mate throws him momentarily off-track. Can his "Starlight" tame the monster within him? Note: Although the MC meet for the first time here, so many characters, plot points, and one overarching mystery (the Skolovs' search for their youngest siblings, missing since infancy) continue from previous books that I think it's best to read the books in order.
As with the other entries, I really liked this, particularly four aspects. First, the worldbuilding is hauntingly visceral (the descriptions of the planet's pleasure district and the Sartin estate evoke the apocalyptic underworld hellishness of Metropolis, Strange Days, and Blade Runner combined). Second, the plot twists were ones I didn't see coming and, thus, genuine surprises. Third, Ms. Aimes introduces disability into what is usually a very abled genre. And, finally, the MC was extremely sympathetic with competing motivations that create organic conflict (while Alexi wants nothing more than to rescue Keira from her abusive uncle, she wants to stay in order to protect the other Omegas). I really liked that the usual Omegaverse insta-love was deepened by a connection that went beyond the sexual: both are "damaged" (Keira is considered "defective" because she's giftless and barren); therefore, each understands the pain and humiliation the other feels. While this takes the "good girl/bad boy" trope to the nth degree, I didn't mind it here because Keira actively participates in the narrative; her intelligence and inner strength apparent throughout (it's interesting that her ). I spent the entire book hoping they'd get their HEA and there's no higher praise for a book in this genre than that.
I do have some quibbles. This didn't need to be as long as it was (editing Alexi's repetitive "I'm a monster" dialogue would have cut off a good chunk); there were a few too many double bluffs and climaxes (plot, not sexual) towards the end to be remotely plausible; and I would have liked to have seen Keira interact with . But Ms. Aimes has created such a warm, vibrant, close-knit family in the Skolovs that these are minor criticisms.
4 1/2 stars. Damien is up next. Side Notes: I hope we see the female underground railroad rescue pilot again and "scent mufflers" have new meaning in the Age of COVID.

This was SO GOOD!!!!
Alison always WOWs me in the best ways possible.
I am obsessed with this series. I’m so in love with all of the characters. My most recent loves are Alexi (muthafuckin’ swoon!) and Keira (such a BADASS heroine!) They are PASSIONATE and FIERCE and PROTECTIVE…and deliciously FILTHY. Their connection to each is strong, their chemistry sizzling and white hot. And the love they have for each other? Enviable and so beautiful.
I swear my kindle was overheating during most of this story. And it was vibrating and trembling from the intensity of the story. Or was that me trembling and getting too hot? …probably both.
Once again, Miss Alison has rocked my world and punched me in the feels, aaalllllll the feels…EVERYWHERE. But if getting punched feels that good, then I’d happily take those punches every. day.
Alexi is on a mission to find his missing brother. He needs to prove to his other siblings that he’s more than the gorgeous alpha who has all the omegas dropping to their knees.
There was never a dull moment in this action-packed story. Not only was it entertaining and full of kindle-gripping goodness, it also had lots and lots of toe-curling yumminess and heartwarming love and adoration and so many moments that put little hearts in my eyes.
Alexi is so much more than what everyone believes him to be. His loyalty and determination and dedication…so admirable. His strength and kindness and the need to please and care for his omega…so effing swoony and charming and sweet and left me all smiley and drunk with contentment and happiness. *sigh*
Give me that sexy beast!
The growls, the fangs, the eyes…I’ll take all of him, just the way he is please and thank you.
Broken Heir was yet another masterpiece in this amazingly written series. So many captivating moments had me glued to my Kindle. Some parts so emotionally intense, I wanted to hug someone. Scenes so intoxicating, I couldn’t look away if I tried.
I highly recommend this book. If you’ve read and loved the other books in this series, you need this one. If you haven’t read this series, do yourself a favor and start it soon. You won’t regret it.
If I ever get so lucky to meet Alison Aimes, I will probably embarrass myself fangirling so hard. :)

I love the Skolovs and how ruthless they are in protecting those they care about. They rose up from the bottom, homeless as kids and multi-millionaires now, and they use their wealth to help others and take down people at the top. Alexi has been a mystery until now, always partying and disappearing. I couldn't wait to find out what he was thinking and going through and it's pretty rough.
Alexi has a monster inside of him that he struggles to control with drugs and random women. Then he meets Keira and his world turns on it's head. She tames the beast and gives him hope that he might be able to live a full and happy life. But first he has to get her away from her abusive family and find his missing brother.
I thought this was fun and fast paced, with a great romantic story (and nicely done steamy scenes.) I liked that we learned more about the missing Skolov brother and who is behind the twins' kidnapping. The series has been great and I'm happy the third book is out now!

After the events of the second book, Alexi goes to meet his betrothed and ends up finding his fated mate and falls into bed with her without knowing who she is. Keira (who has plans of her own) also has no idea who Alexi is but they find out shortly after and it sets a string of events in place that sets a new path for Alexi and his family, Keira, and the quest to discover where Alexi's siblings are. Will they all make it out in one piece?
Alexi was the broken Alpha with a tragic past and he has carried that past with him for a long time always worried that he will snap one day and have to be put down. His inner turmoil was sad to read but Keira's light brought him back from the brink of loneliness and hopelessness and gave him a new lease on life. Alexi thinks so badly of himself and the beast he can become at times but deep down he is a loyal and devoted Alpha with so much heart, love and devotion to give. He only had to finally see it.
Keira also has a heartbreaking past but she has a spine of steel and fights for those she considers "hers." She was the perfect other half to Alexi and I loved that she accepted every little piece of him and the feelings and reactions she had to him. Their mutual respect and adoration for each other created a beautiful relationship between the two that I couldn't help but love. Her tenacity and strength made her and Alexi an unbreakable force.
Broken Heir was a steamy steamy Omegaverse. I loved Alexi's animalistic tendencies and his domineering, controlling and possessive attitude toward Keira. Their intimate moments were *chefs kiss.* I enjoyed that this was also action packed and kept you on your toes with revelations I never saw coming. It sets the stage for more stories and I can't wait to read what's next in this world and their continuing quest to locate their sister. I only wish that we had gotten more time with Alexi and Keira being bonded. If you like darker Omegaverse stories with strong Alphas and their feisty Omegas, then I definitely suggest picking up this series!

Note to self… do not start a new Alison Aimes book at 8 pm on a work night thinking, “I will only read a few chapters…” Yeah, that did not happen…Once I started reading this book, I became so engrossed by the plot, twists, and turns that I stayed up all night reading!
This book was AH-MAZING!
Alexi was so much more than I imagined. His backstory was tragic and what he suffered at 13 yrs old… horrendous. However, getting inside his head was almost worse, the self-loathing/deprecation and fear could almost be felt through the pages. Despite the horrors he endured, he remained a good man... In beast mode, he may unalive a lot of people, but he remained a protector…deeply devoted to his family, and then Keira. He's also sexy and determined to keep his omega satisfied if you know what I mean (wink wink). PLEASE! YES!
Keira's past is equally heartbreaking, and the fact that she puts that aside...puts all the cruelty she lives with aside, to safeguard those who are unable to protect themselves... I adored her character. Not only is she strong…she is the perfect match for Alexi and his beast.
Broken Heir was an exciting, steamy, action-packed story full of betrayal, deception, and jaw-dropping twists and turns. The end had me losing my mind! And the character growth, even with the Alpha / Omega dynamic, Alexi and Keira matured romantically throughout the story, and in the end, their relationship was more than just pheromones; it was a true bonding! SWOON!
If you are looking for a magnificent sci-fi omegaverse mafia, with plenty of steam, unaliving, and a gripping storyline… THIS IS YOUR BOOK! Actually, THIS IS YOUR SERIES!
My only regret… I read Broken Heir too quickly and now that it is over… I want… no need…more! This book/series gets all my recommendations and is a MUST READ romance in my opinion!

Alexi Skolov really was the beautiful broken beast hero we all crave. From the moment he met Keira he was so concerned with keeping her safe. That was even before the feelings started getting involved. His beast even recognized something in her that he couldn't resist. There were so many times my heart ached for him and the events of his past. By no means was he weak though, he was every bit the beast you would expect from an alien planet.
Keira Sartin was always told she was nothing, less than nothing. She was never good enough for a good life, but Alexi changed her story. What was supposed to be one night ends up becoming the turning point for her. Seeing Keira go from this battered woman who had to mind her tongue to the strong woman by the side of Alexi was the cherry on top of a perfect story.
Narration people. Stella Hunter and Jason Clarke. If I have said it once I will say it again but these two are a match made in narration heaven. The way they play off one another can really be heard and at this point if they are narrating together, I will be listening. I thought I had heard Jason Clarke in all his narration glory, but this role was made for him. With all the growls Alexi tended to make because of his beast. Good heavens, I was in a state in the best way.
While I should have started with book one of the series (don't worry I will be going back to the beginning), I didn't feel like I was lost at all. Alison did an exceptional job of making this a complete standalone while also bringing in what I would expect are aspects from the previous books. Bravo to you babe because that is hard in Sci-Fi.

Mmmm Alexi, you growly hunk of deliciousness...
If I were to choose a book boyfriend from Alison Aimes' Dark Mafia Omegaverse, it would be Alexi Skolov... and maybe Damien... but definitely Alexi. Well, I have to wait a while for Damien's book, but Alexi's story was so satisfying.
Alison Aimes has crafted another heart pounding adventure with all the feels. Broken Heir pivots us to another corner of Anarcheim - the Alphaverse galaxy. This time to the seedy Sartin crime family where our female main character, Keira Sartin, has lived her life practically squashed under sticky Sartin alpha boots. My heart goes out to Keira and all she has endured but the abuse forged a soul of steel and a unique omega power. I loved this aspect of the story... her power isn't showy, but strong all the same.
Alexi also endured soul-breaking abuse at the hands of abductors when he was young. While these scenes may trigger someone with a history of abuse, the author does a good job at keeping the story moving through the back-flashes and (thankfully) does not get graphic with those scenes. They are not gratuitous and the history is necessary as Alexi's present "condition" is a result of his captivity, which plays a very big role in the story.
I love Keira and Alexi. Obviously, there is danger and conflict around every corner and a sense of precariousness in their time together. Like all Alison Aimes stories, it moves at a fast pace, but Keira and Alexi manage to carve out some steamy love times. I love a dirty talker and Alexi is just that. In fact, the book starts right off with a teaser scene to get you salivating. Luckily, you don't have to wait long for the main course.
Broken Heir also brings home one long-lost Skolov sibling. I don't want to spoil the story, but it was totally satisfying. I cannot wait to find out where the other twin has been hiding. Something tells me they are as kick-@$$ as their siblings.
Damien's story is up next and, based on the bonus epilogue provided, it is going to be yummy!

This is the third book in the series and I honestly didn't think I'll feel so angsty for another Skolov brother after reading Nikolai's book (Book 1). I had thought Nikolai had it toughest as he's the oldest brother and had suffered for his family most but Alexi had an equally tragic experience and it really broke my heart to know that he hadn't really gotten through the trauma unlike Nikolai, so it was actually more heartbreaking for me to read this book. I am just glad the ending is a good one. The interweaving suspense is really well plotted out and I am looking forward to the next book to uncover the mystery revolving the Skolov siblings!

For anyone who hasn't yet read the"Ruthless Warlords" series by author, Alison Aimes, my question is, "What are you waiting for?" This series is an omegaverse romance about the Skolov crime family, whose members have grown from poverty to one of the richest and most powerful families in the brotherhood.
"Broken Heir" is the newest addition to this fabulous saga! And this is Alexi's story. Alexi is the broken brother. Kidnapped as a child, he was tortured, abused, beaten, and injected with drugs to create a berserker beast within him. Although he was eventually found and rescued by his brothers, the damage had been done. He is the bad boy of the Skolov family: massive, good looking, out of control, and completely alpha! He is dangerous and feels there is no hope for his future. And, what woman doesn't love the bad boy, especially when he will do anything to protect those he loves? Alexi is just yummy!
Keira Sartin is the broken Omega heroine in the story. She is beautiful, smart and underestimated, seen as a barren omega without any special gifts normally indicated in omegas. But while being seen as useless, she is able to achieve her own agenda. She works underground to help omegas escape with their newborn babies to safety, off planet. Keira is a bit of a badass, which I love in a heroine. Her main objective is to see her younger sister married to a member of the Skolov crime family where she will be taken away to safety. But a one night stand with a gorgeous alpha male in the pleasure district will change all of Kiera's plans.
The main plot in this series has been for the Skolov family to find and recover their twin siblings who were stolen from their crib while infants. Now, when the twins are about fifteen, the family has tracked down the whereabouts of the male twin. An underlying plot has been to determine who is attempting to take down the entire brotherhood, but particularly the Skolov family. In this book, we get some resolution, but there is still a ways to go...thus the saga continues! Each book in the series is a standalone novel, featuring one of the Skolov family members and their mate, and is complete with a happy ending. Although there are no cliffhangers, I do recommend that you read the books in order, as the story does evolve.
Love, love, love this series, and "Broken Heir" is the absolute best one yet! Alison Aimes does a fantastic job of delivering us an action packed storyline that will keep us on the edge of our seat and she gives us wonderfully written sexy bedroom scenes that are sure to melt panties everywhere! Damien's story is up next and I can't wait!!

i absolutely loved this book!
after reading 𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲, of course my expectations for 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 had to be high and alison met every single one of them. from the easily lovable characters to the plot, i thoroughly enjoyed everything!
alexi skolov just kept breaking and repairing my heart. his backstory broke my heart more times than i could count, especially the flashback scenes. it felt like my heart was being ripped open as i read about his abusive past and then reading about how much he hated, doubted and undermined himself in the present. he's a person who deserves the entire universe and thankfully, keira is there to give it to him. he's so thoughtful and selfless and considerate, an absolute sweetheart with the perfect amount of possessiveness and dirty talk.
keira, my brave baby. she's so fierce and strong and brave. her actions toward the omegas filled me with so much pride, even though i don't know her. even when dealing with alexi's beast, she was so incredibly determined and she's such a powerful individual. i loved seeing her develop her self-confidence and become more reassured and happy with herself.
keira and alexi are soulmates, one soul that was split into two halves. their relationship was so pure, so beautiful.

Alexie, Keira are such stubborn, fierce, sweet characters (Hulk & Black-Widow vibes! She may not be as powerful but she fought for justice & tamed the beast!). My heart goes out to them. Maddox was a pleasant surprise! Love that kid. I loved all the bros' interactions, I do wish to see the omegas interact - that can be a bonus (😉😉).

And another insanely great book - after a one-click of experience and conviction, I took the anticipation to the extreme and rolled around in it, now to fully immerse myself and enjoy.
And what a treat, confident characters with a knack for self-reflection and the courage of conviction draw you deep into their spell and the story. Breathlessly we followed the development, fever and fear for them, catching our breath and laughing when there is still some time for playful humour between all the chaos and chasms or dangers.
Greatly created and narrated, vivid, lovable and believable characters, spicy interludes served hot and still so much room for grandiose fantasies.

(audiobook) I knew what I was getting into: SF, aliens, omegaverse, fated mates, mafia, violence, steam… What I wasn’t expecting was how interesting the characters would be. Way more than the standard alpha and omega.
Alexi is a monster. Due to a terrible past–and I mean terrible, even though it isn’t too explicit, it implies many triggers–he has the hardest time controlling his emotions. It’s not that he’s cold blooded, it’s that he feels too much! Then he becomes a dangerous beast. He’s developped several addiction to numb his feelings. Alexi definitely isn’t your typical hero.
His destined omega–though he doesn’t realize it at first–is the one nobody wants. Unable to conceive, without any omega power, and with kind of an attitude, Keira is her uncle’s favorite victim. But she’s smart and knows what she wants. A real rebel. Until she spends the night with Alexi. Not that she gives up her objectives, but it just complicates things.
Their relationship is fascinating. They’re both broken–Alexi from his troubled past, Keira from the constant bullying she’s a victim to, and they have flaws. But they balance each other out. Alexi shows Keira she’s worthy of love and respect, while she tames Alexi’s beast. I loved that.
There’s a lot going on in this book, and there’s never a dull moment for sure. Between the scorching hot intimate scenes between Keira and Alexi and the multiple instances of violence. Triggers involved, be prepared. Also, there are many plot twists.
Since the first book, there’s an ongoing mystery, with the disappearance of the youngest Skolov children years ago. It is at the center of the story and finds some kind of resolution by the end. The whole plot is about Alexi infiltrating the Sartins to find clues about his siblings, and the excuse is an alliance between the Skolovs and the Sartins through the union between Alexi and a Sartin omega. Namely Keira’s sister. And the monster inside Alexi keeps messing up with his plans.
There’s another aspect that I enjoyed a lot, incarnated by Keira’s uncle. He knows the rules, he practices diplomacy, but he’s also selfish and ambitious, and his wants don’t always align with what his position requires. The moments his objectives clash with what the Brotherhood wants from him, and he loses control–and the plot–are greatly entertaining, and always result in more conflicts and action, sometimes violence.
The narration was amazing. The male narrator brings life to a conflicted Alexi, and he’s able to express both the monster and the broken man, and the creature in between–the man trying to contain the beast. The female narrator does great with Keira’s multiple nuances. The brave rebel, the obedient omega, the passionate woman, they’re all here to hear.

After a few heavy reads I needed to get back to the meat and potatoes of it all, and what’s better than blending dark mafia and aliens with an Omegaverse??
I found a very happy place with Alexi and Keira. Oh these two are a piece of work, but I’ll get to that. Alexi is a slave to the beast who lives inside him. There’s a story there, but you’ll have to read to know because it’s better that way. Let’s just say Alexi Skolov and Bruce Banner can both Hulk Smash it out. Kiera, better known as a defective Omega is at the mercy of her cruel warlord Alphahole uncle and her careless father. She’s berated on the regular, but her heart remains pure.
All it takes is for these two strangers in the night to “exchange glances” and feel/sense one another’s presence to draw them together, but only for a night. That one night is as hot as several suns and hell’s depth. But fate. Delicious Alphaverse action from start to finish!
Alexi Skolov is on a mission. He's been tasked to find his missing brother and he's currently in the desolate region of Sartin. A burnt out terrain where the sun will scorch you if you are caught out in the sun's rays. This world isn't for the meek and it breaks Alexis' heart knowing his lost brother could have ended up here when he was kidnapped almost sixteen years ago. To even enter this dark world, terms had to be met, Alexi has been promised to one of the omega's. So while he was originally hoping to only leave with his brother, he'll also be leaving with a mate. That was a term he never saw for himself, especially considering his condition.
Keira Sartin has been put down and told she's worthless most of her life. While she realizes that omegas serve their purpose, she realizes that her lack of gift and ability to produce an heir makes her less than other omegas. However, she's never let it get in the way of helping others. She uses her intellect and kindness to help the underground movement and helps omegas escape the abuse and omega trading right from under her uncle's nose. While he believes she's worthless and unnoticeable, she uses that fact against him at every turn.
Alexi and Keira may have never met under normal circumstances, but fate has a way of working out. These two souls have felt broken and worthless their entire lives, that is until they meet and realize that together they are worthy. Together they can achieve anything. Together they can see each other's potential, which truly strengthens their inner qualities. Qualities that they used to believe were weaknesses. Their story is full of passion, but more than that it's one of building self esteem, inner beauty from believing in yourself, and loving yourself so you can love someone else.
There were moments where their brokenness is emotional, but the strength they draw from one another is so beautiful I couldn't help but feel their love pour off the page and don't get me startled on their passion. Whew! Hot! Hot! Hot!
Also, Keira's cousin, Maddox, is an amazing secondary character, but that's all I'm saying about him for now.

These two souls have felt broken and worthless their entire lives, that is until they meet and realize that together they are worthy. Together they can achieve anything. Together they can see each other's potential, which truly strengthens their inner qualities. Qualities that they used to believe were weaknesses. Their story is full of passion, but more than that it's one of building self esteem, inner beauty from believing in yourself, and loving yourself so you can love someone else.
There were moments where their brokenness is emotional, but the strength they draw from one another is so beautiful I couldn't help but feel their love pour off the page and don't get me startled on their passion. Whew! Hot! Hot! Hot!
Also, Keira's cousin, Maddox, is an amazing secondary character, but that's all I'm saying about him for now.
I love this entire omegaverse world, but Alexi and Keira may be my favorite couple yet.

Wonderful third book in the series, great characters and plot was simply riveting reading
Keira Sartin an Omega that had been treated so poorly by the family she had ended up with after her Alpha had died after only a few years and the now in the Sartin household she had seen such horrors under her sire and his brother who was a cruel and murderous life she had barely escaped with her life.
That night she had sneaked out of the compound to help one of the Omegas that Barro had impregnated gave birth to a daughter and once again her uncle had decided to sell the child and the mother. She had been sneaking away rescuing the babies and the mothers and putting them onto spaceships that took them to a place of safety.
Then one night she had been on one such excursion and then had been injured when she had scented a male that her Omega knew was of importance to you, the Alpha had been so handsome and Alexi had been entranced by her and his beast had known that she his starlight was his and he would never let her go.
As he took her as her Prime Omega and he explained that he was looking for his brother stolen from his family all those years ago and now she was going to help him and together they were going to get away together.
This is a wonderful read and I have loved every single moment of this book and I am sure that like myself you will find yourself totally enraptured by this story, I look forward to this amazing book and I am sure that others will be equally as entranced by this book as me.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I’m a lover of this series and have been anxiously awaiting Alexi’s story. Let me just say, it was well worth the wait! A define 10 plus stars from me! I was hooked from the very first word and couldn’t put it down! It’s hard to put in words exactly how I feel about this phenomenal story without giving it all away, except that you need it in your life!
Alexi’s character is one of which you will fall in love with immediately. While he is troubled and has had horrible things happen to him in his past, you can’t help but want to jump into the pages of the book and hug him. He may be all growly and a total Alpha, but when it comes to Keira, all bets are off. They unexpectedly meet one night not knowing who the other is. So imagine what happens when they are formally introduced!
Keira is an Omega, who has had a rough upbringing, but she perseveres and continues to be strong even though others feel she is worthless. When she meets Alexi, she just knows there is something special about him, but she can’t act on her feelings. She has one goal, and he is not part of it. Or is he? Their chemistry is unlike any other and your fingers will burn as you turn the pages because it is so sizzling!
This author has a way of making me feel their emotions deep within my soul, and my heart hurt and broke so many times, but was definitely healed again. I love everything about this story and can’t wait for the next book in this brilliant series!
