Prince is such an arrogant a@@! But there's something so likeable and charming about him that I just couldn't help loving him. After the glimpses I had of him in the other books I couldn't wait for his book! Olivia is his perfect mate. I absolutely love these Monster Bites books. They are so much fun. Michele Mills has a wonderful story telling ability. Her characters are rich and the storylines always entertaining.

This was such a fun one-sit read for me and I have to say, finally! we get Prince's story ;P His shock was immense when he realized his new step sister was the human gal he'd been searching for throughout the series... He sets about wooing Olivia but she was so uncertain of his motives and sincerity. Of course, she felt the chemistry and desire to mate with him, but she sure made him work for it. Lol! What followed was a fun and steamy reading ride with a little danger and loads of family drama/angst. I can't wait for what's next by this author :D

Prince (H), the heir of the head of the Hyrrokin mafia, has been searching for his bound after finding her scent on a piece of red cloth a season ago and never expects her to simply walk into the family compound as his new stepsister. Olivia (h) only plans to stay on Tarvos long enough to ensure that her mother is happy in her new marriage to the Don of the Hyrrokin mafia. She’s shocked when her stepbrother insists that she’s the one for him and he’ll do what he has to to protect her and convince her she’s his bound. Things quickly get hot and steamy between Prince and Olivia, though she insists on keeping their relationship a secret. Fun romantic hot and steamy novella - how could it not be with Hyrrokin heat?

Michelle Mills does it again with another short, spicy and sweet novella from her hyrrokin universe! This universe is always a must read for me, as is all of Michelle’s books and this did not disappoint! Prince is a cheeky lad and wins the heart of stubborn Olivia in this whirlwind romance! As always, Michelle gives us the sweet and the spicy!! Would love to hear their parents’ story too!!.

This was an okay sci-fi alien romance, but I did have some issues with it. It gets 3 stars from me.
First, it was too short to have as much character development as I like. I would have liked a little more backstory on both Prince and Olivia.
Olivia was likable, but it bothered me that she just couldn't seem to say no to Prince. She didn't trust that he wanted her as more than a fling, yet she still moved in with him and almost immediately let him be intimate with her. She was also uncomfortable with having a relationship with her stepbrother, since she thought it would upset her mother/stepfather -- but again, she didn't really resist Prince much at all. She just let him get away with bossing her around, and telling her to move in with him.
Prince was okay, but I hated that he was so bossy, and basically insisted that Olivia move in with him. I get that he knew she was his mate, but he also knew she was uncomfortable with that and didn't trust him -- yet he still insisted that she move in with him immediately. He should have given her time to learn to trust him first.
It also bothered me that Prince and his father were part of the Hyrrokin mafia. I get that they were trying to go legit, and were getting out of a lot of their criminal activities -- but they had both done a lot of bad things, and were never going to get completely out of criminal stuff.
I liked that curvy girls were considered beautiful in Prince's world, since everyone on his planet was much larger than any human. .
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Prince is the only son of the Don of the Hyrrokin mafia. When he and his men were doing some mafia business, he found a red scarf that carried the scent of his future bound. The only information he could get about the owner is that it was a human female so Prince has been tracking down all unmated human females to see if they are his bound. Then his father calls him home. His father has taken a new Bound and it is a human woman. His father wants him to meet his new stepmother and her daughter. He tells Prince that he wants him to take care of his new stepsister and keep her safe from all the men. Prince thought his stepsister was going to be a child. He is shocked to find out his new stepsister is a grown woman and is the owner of the red scarf.
Olivia is not happy that her mother is now the Bound of the Don of the Hyrrokin mafia. Even though he has promised to go legit, Olivia doesn't trust him. She goes along to the new family get together to see if her mother will be safe and has an emergency plan for escape. When she meets her new stepbrother, he tells her that she is meant for him. She doesn't believe him since everyone keeps telling her what a playboy he is. She doesn't believe him when he tells her she is his bound and keeps protecting her heart.

This book had everything that I love about aliens. Prince is the heir to the Hyrrokin mafia and his father is the Don that has just taken on a new bound (wife) and her stepdaughter who he now in trusts with her protection and is sent to omega 9 and bring her back to Tarvos but he cannot find her but then he finds a red scarf and the scent coming off it tells him this female is his mate but he can’t find her as well but returning to his father’s compound he finds that his new stepsister is already there and when they meet he knows she belongs to the red scarf and that she is his mate so now he to convince Olivia that he is the one for her. Olivia is on Tarvos to meet her Mums new husband that is the Don of the Hyrrokin mafia and his son Prince who is gorgeous and when he looks at her she sees desire in his eyes for her but she doesn’t want to be another notch on his bedpost but he is sexy hot. Finally he convinces Olivia that she is the only one for him and they start a hot and steamy relationship but decide to keep it a secret for now so nobody gets upset. How does it all turn out can the finally come out about there relationship and how does there parents take the news and there is a lot more going on in this book that I know you will love. Loved it.

A wonderful read a simply tremendous addition to this series, a book that will captivate stepsister you thoroughly
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book. The Prince and the Heir to the Hyrrokin mafia is looking for his mate, he has discovered an item of clothing with her scent unfortunately he cannot believe who she actually is.
His father has just remarried and has given him the responsibility of caring for his stepsister Olivia but never could he ever have imagined that in fact she was his mate, this was so much more than a difficult situation.
However, what the heart want?
Read this simply wonderful plot and I guarantee that you will be captivated by it and that you will be left looking forward to new books kin this series.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

At long last, Prince gets his turn to shine. Well, as well as the heir to the Hyrrokin mafia can shine, I suppose. Which isn't to imply that Prince is a bad guy. He's not. He might have done some questionable things to keep the family business afloat (I assume), but that's in the past. Probably. Now he's working on turning the business legit and being faithful to the human he's scented, but never met. The one he's sure is his mate.
Which brings up around to Olivia. She's definitely on the more upstanding side of things. She's a little appalled with her mom for marrying the head of the mafia and she's determined to make sure he's treating her right. What she doesn't expect? Her new stepbrother. The one who's REALLY into her and treats her like a princess.
So, yeah. These two have a few issues to get past. Mostly of the uh-oh, our parents are married variety. Seeing as how they're both grown (and consenting) adults, however, that isn't the road bump they think it might be.
A little subterfuge, a gentlemanly Hyrrokin, unexpected family (well, mostly unexpected), and a lady who needs time to wrap her head around her new honey. *thumbs up*

Disappointing FMC
Out of all this authors books this is the first I've been disappointed in.
I have this book 3 stars despite not really enjoying it, because as always it was written, flowed well, and was edited well.
I was very much looking forward to Princes story, the mystery of who his female was ran through the rest of the series and had me hyped for this book.
The problem was I did not like his Female. Honestly I couldn't even remember her name, then I realized it was at the top of the chapter, lol. My impression of her was she would be that insecure jealous girl always accusing her man of cheating if h re had a conversation with another woman.
Towards the very end of the book it was starting to look up for me a bit, BUT THEN he declared his love and all that jazz and her response is something along the lines of, well if I'm enough and you won't cheat on me I'm in. Seriously chick he tells you how much he loves you and all that good stuff and you ask him if he'd going to cheat? Seriously fine with her.
I will of course continue to read this author, one obnoxious FMC out of all the other ones is definitely good odds, and I'm glad Prince got his HEA, even if I wish it was with someone else.

This is the sixth book in the "Monster Bites" series. I admit that after seeing Prince search for his 'one' (aka his "Bound"), I was expecting more, but the author has a way with words and engagement. Hyrrokin society and ways, which are alluded to in other books are more fully fleshed out in this one. The references and connections to other books set on Tarvos or with characters from earlier books helps to cement this series.
If you have read other books by this author, this one might seem a bit off; however, it is so well-written that while I loved Prince as a character seen in bits and pieces over two previous books, Olivia was harder to get into in part due to how she and Prince meet.
Overall, I really enjoyed this bit of additional Hyrrokin lore with the romance. The earlier books where Prince appears really help as well:
“His Human Socialite" with Idun & Jada; "Her Alien Ex-Con" with Kryel & Aliyah; and "Her Alien Bully" with Horace & Cherise provide great background but are not necessary to enjoy this book and Prince's appearance.

Ok
A short (under 100 pages) lusty sci-fi romance where the hero & heroine's romance overcomes the obstacles of him being her step-brother and in the mafia. The heroine, 23-year-old Olivia Timlin, has just finished a law degree and come home to find her mother married a mafia don she met on a cruise. The hero, 30-year-old Prince Brimstone, is the heir to the Hyrrokin mafia and has been determinedly looking for a female whose scent called to him for some time (see previous books in series) only to find it is his new step-sister's scent.
There's nothing wrong with short & steamy, and of course I expect less from the characters in such cases. However, I just couldn't quite buy into these characters or their romance. She seems to be 100% against the mafia one second and then ok with it the next which left me unsure of who she was. I thought smaller a degree of change of opinion and more consistency instead of her character going back and forth in her opinions would've helped me enjoy this story more.

Prince Brimstone has finally found his Bound in Olivia, after searching high and low for the woman who had lost her red scarf. Their story has left me kind of flat. I had been so looking forward to their love story, given the glimpses we have had of Prince in the previous books in the series. It could be the mood I am in, but I just could not connect with Olivia. Our first introduction to Olivia, she comes off cold and rather rude, with zero interest in him. She talks about him as an arragant killer. Granted her first introduction to Prince was him having come into her room while she was in the bath, and she steps out to find him there. The story did not start out grabbing my attention like Ms Mills' books usually do. In fact, this is the very first book of hers that I have not adored from the first word to the last. It's not a bad story, just not as fantastic as I have come to expect. I always need to see some sort of growth in the characters over a story arch, and feel like there just was no growth in this one. You may feel completely differently, so give it a try.

Prince knew from the first time he smelled her scent that Olivia was his bound; he had only to locate his woman. His fascination with her hair is sweet, and his knowledge that he can keep her safe even though she does not breathe fire or have claws is endearing. This book is a quick and fun read, and not to be missed. It may be read as a standalone, but is best read as part of the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Her Alien Stepbrother by Michele Mills is a Monster Bites story, sixth in the series, and I have been hunkering for this one since it was hinted at! And let me tell you, it absolutely delivered!
Prince and Olivia are a hoot! Prince is confident, arrogant, charming, driven, and won't take no for an answer. Olivia is curious, intelligent, feisty, wary, caring, and just wants the best for those she loves.
The world building and backstory in this one is fantastic, really delving into a whole new layer of the world, drawing you in and making you wish you were right there!
The push and pull, the will they won't they, the chemistry, the connection, the drama, the intrigue, all of this and more makes this a fast paced read that will keep your attention for sure! So, if you're looking for an alien romance with a guy head over heels for his girl, once he finds her that is, look no further!

I really enjoyed the other books leading up to this one (though I think it would be ok to read this one without the others). So I was looking forward to what felt like the culmination of Prince's search. Which this book was, but I was a bit let down by Olivia. She's not great. She is understandably dubious. But has the same complaints over and over without listening to what Prince says. And she b* about him being in the mob while in the same conversation being like buy me lots more things, and make sure they are really expensive. Where does she think the money comes from?!?!? I feel like her reactions bothered me more than they should but I had a hard time finding likeable or relatable things about her. Prince is a jerk, but he feels like a consistent jerk so at least I understand him.

What a great story. Prince has been searching for the woman who wore a red cloth. Prince finds out that his father is remarrying and he has to make sure his step-sister isn't taken advantage of. When Prince meet her he's found the woman who he's been looking for forever. Olivia only plans to stay on Tarvos to make sure her mother is happy with the Don of Hyrrokin mafia. Prince has found the woman he's been searching for. Now Prince has to convince Olivia of his intentions. This was such a sweet, cute, fun and hot story. Prince is determined, passionate and caring toward Olivia. Olivia isn't quite sure but she's totally attracted to him. I've been looking forward to Prince finding his mate and I wasn't disappointed. Great story.

I really enjoyed this series, that is a spinoff of another series of the same author. I like of this one that every book tackles a different troop of generes, you feel like this series is a sample plater. In this one is the forbitten romance. Finally, we get the story of Prince, He has been all around trying to find the elusive human that was his mate and turns out, that she was kind of home delivered, when her mom and his father get married. This is a standalone story but to get the whole experience you better read the 3 previous books. So, in short you get a very spicy story, with a touch of romance, comedy, no cheating and of course a Happily Ever After! I really recommend, not only this series, but the whole Michelle's Hyrrokin universe.

This book like others in the series sees a hyrrokian male funding his bound or forever mate in a human woman. In this case Prince has recognise her scent before meeting her and been hunting planets for unmated human females to see if they carry the scent.
Ironically he finds his bound in his new step sister. He is not shy in coming forward and tells Olivia straight away on meeting her. Although attracted Olivia is sceptical and thinks it's happening too fast and that the situation is complicated.
The points of view from both Olivia and Prince worked in getting you to empathise with their way of thinking.
Written with warm th and humour, I really enjoyed this book.

I am so happy. It's here, it's here. Finally! I have loved Prince popping up in all the other stories to see if he can find his female, scenting and then rushing off to the next one. That's not to say that I haven't loved all the other stories just that he was a little highlight in them all. Now he has finally found her except while he is all ready to lay down everything for her, it might be helpful to remind him that he has had months of knowing. Olivia, love her, is completely blindsided by her "new" step-brother. She's not afraid of Hyrrokin males but she had plans for her life as did her mother which now have been turned upside down. Can this hulking male and future head of the mafia truly want her for her or was it just pot luck that he has fixated on her scent?

Prince is the heir of the head of the Hyrrokin mafia and some time ago he scented his bound(mate) from a red scarf he found but after looking everywhere he has still not seen her. When his father takes a new bound he gets a human stepmother and stepsister and he is put in charge of his sister's safety as she is innocent. When he meets her he knows - she is the one.
This novella was a sweet read that you need to have read the previous books in the series first to understand Prince's journey to find his bound. It was a little silly but I was glad to see that they had a chance to get to know each other. A light read that will give you a warm feeling when they get a HEA at the end. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

After 3 (yes 3) books Prince finally meets the woman who he has scented as his future bound.
I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series to fully appreciate Prince and his search for his bound. It's a super fast, instalove, insta-everything that will sweep a reader into the story. There's I guess not one HEA? I certainly liked how these stories tied together. Intrigued? The story is fast paced, with lots of insta-everything and revelations and action! Told from dual POV reveals intimately their thoughts, feelings and emotions as they explore their relationship and the future of their family. Recommended!

A fast moving story that is impossible to put down!
I love everything about this series! Prince has been searching for his mate throughout all the previous books in the series. His determination is adorable! Olivia is unsure of his intentions and takes some time to convince. In nine chapters, Prince puts in the work while Olivia fluctuates with her own desires. It's A wickedly hot novella with characters who are sweet and ready for some real love. I hope there are more stories planned, in any case, whatever Michele Mills writes next, it's a guarantee that I'll be ready to enjoy reading it!

Finally, the hyrokkin who kept on intruding with the other hyrokkins love life in the previous stories found the owner of the red scarf. It was a wild goose chase and he did not let her out of her sight once he found her. Once these hyrokkins set their sights on you, there is no chance of escape. They know how to make their mates swoon and fell in love with them.
I loved our MMC, the FMC not so much. But I understand her hesitation in the end. At that point she’s all out for him and that redeemed herself.

Quick fated mates, instalove read!!
This one started off a little slow, however once they meet it picks up fast. You see more of a recap of how the relationship is progressing and I wish it was more showing than telling like the others in the series. I liked the characters and it was nice for me to see Prince finally find his female after searching so long. This was a quick read with steam and I think the others need to be read first to get full enjoyment out of this one. This is fated mates and instalove with no drama, good escape from life for a little bit!!.

I loved this novella length book. It was fun reading about Prince's journey to find the woman who owned the red scarf in the last three books in the series. I loved the meaning behind the scarf.
Prince, being the heir to the largest mafia, was a determined and obsessive Hyrrokin. His search to find his One and only was fun to read.
Olivia was feisty. She really put Prince through the ringer. But at the end it was an excellent HEA. No cliffhanger.
I would recommend this series to everyone who likes flame throwing heroes searching for their one and only.

Prince is the heir to the Hyrrokin mafia. His father married a human woman with a grown daughter. Olivia is a human woman who ifs the stepdaughter of the Hyrrokin mafia Don. When she meets Prince, her stepbrother, she’s attracted to him but he declares she’s his from the first moment they meet. Prince has been looking for her for month ( previous books) and now he’s founds her and he’s not letting her leave him. This story is short and sweet with plenty of action and lots of steam. I love this series and this book is no exception.

happily Ever After Isn't Always What You Plan
As I come to the end of another bites sized whirlwind romance in the "Monster Bites" series I am filled with warm fuzzies. Personally, I'm usually not one to go for the "in love with my step-sibling" trope, but I allowed my personal bias to go on vacation while I read this book. Ms. Mills weaves an ally encompassing tale in order to show just how fluid the term 'family' is in the modern era with Olivia and Prince's story.
I highly recommend this book if you are in the market for a short romance with a heroine who isn't willing to just be swept off her feet without doing her own research first.
