This was very ott but I loved every second of it. Olivia's books are the best.

I push away from him and start awkwardly log rolling down the not-so-steep hill. In my head, I pictured myself flying down the hill at a breakneck speed, but I’m just kind of flapping around like a half-dead fish.

This one might be my favorite of the Mountain Men series! I loved Savannah and Hunter. Savannah is escaping from her mom's creepy boyfriend and meets Hunter in the woods when she's naked in the lake. He's immediately "MINE MINE MINE". I loved it, as unrealistic and comedic that it is- it's also very romantic and swoon worthy!

Mountain Man Fixated

Mia does not do nature or outdoor sports, she is a city girl thru and thru. Her niece asks her to go on a camping trip, she brings her laptop thinking she will be able to do some work. Next she knows she is with Violet in a canoe, paddling down the river, after two hours she has blisters on her hands. She is swatting at a bug and loses her oar, her niece gets out the canoe, and it drifts away before she can. She can hear the rumbling of the waterfall ahead and there is now way she can stop herself from going over it.

When she is at the bottom and out of the canoe, it is cold, here comes absolutely large mountain man with dead rabbits. Is he serial killer, is this her end? Cyrus tells she must get out of the water, and that she is perfectly safe. He will not hurt her, but he is thinking about doing other things to her. Will she need to go back to the city? Or can she rough it with her mountain man in the middle of nowhere?

My Mountain Man Muse

Lily dreams of being a published author, she has rent a remote cabin to focus on writing her book. Plans to go as intended and she has writers block, to over come her frustration of not being able to write she goes for walk. When she is hurt, a mountain man, Jayden comes to her rescue. When she cannot get back into her cabin, he takes her to his. Lily may have just found her muse in the mountain man.

Mountain Man Rescued

Kennedy is a convict, she was innocent but got over 30 years, she and some other inmates have been brought to the mountainside to help fight a forest fire. She hears some birds, goes to rescue them and gets trapped by the fire. The big mountain man comes thru the fires and sweeps her out of danger.

Declan lives on the mountain, he has enough money to keep him in comfort for the rest of his life. He expected to be alone until the end of his days, when he hears a scream for help he runs to assist. Declan had no idea his life was about to change, she is what he was missing from his life. She maybe in a prison jumpsuit, but she will not be going back.

Mountain Man Taken

Hunter lives in the mountains to get away from women, but when he sees Savannah in town, the last thing he wants is to go the other way. She is young, barely old enough, wandering into the woods, she could be in danger. He follows her to make sure she is safe. The real beast is Hunter, he wants to carry her off to his house and make her his.

Mountain Man Obsessed

Anna works as a coffee shop, she always follows the rules, her friend Hailey talks into going on a camping trip. There is a lot of drinking and skinny dipping, which makes her uncomfortable. She runs off thru the woods when some of boys get aggressive, she is not about to do anything with any of them. They gives chase and she is saved by Colton, he takes her back to his cabin.

In typical fashion by the author, alpha male meets his one and does everything needed to keep her.

Ok, so I won’t lie, these are a little bit 🧀, but that’s part of what makes them fun. Generally speaking I’m not huge on insta-love stories, but when it comes to short stories, you kinda have to go with it, otherwise, you’ll find yourself reading 15 of them just to get to the romance portion. These are written well, and they are enjoyable stories, especially if you’re coming off of some really emotional stories beforehand, like I have. Even though the stories are short, there’s enough character development that they don’t feel 2 dimensional and fake.

I did want to say, I was really upset at the first story with that guide specifically for assuming Mia was drunk, when she was clearly having a panic attack, and then spreading those false rumors about her. I’m not ok with shaming someone for a mental health issue, or for an addiction issue, for that matter, and I really wanted to read Mia lay into her about her insensitivity towards her situation. The guide is supposed to be a role model and her behavior was anything but.
Overall the stories are fun, and not meant to be triggering, so I may have felt so strongly about it because I was already sensitive from my last book.

5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.

4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

2 ⭐️s= Not offended by the story, but not interested enough to finish. Unbelievable characters, poor writing, many mistakes, big holes or discrepancies, many spelling or grammatical errors, characters not believable, unlikeable or TSTL.

1 ⭐️= Offensive, extremely poor writing, horrible characters, victimization, gaslighting, blatant abuse, unnecessary violence, child endangerment, or any other highly objectionable behaviors by Main characters. Would never buy this book, and do not recommend it to anyone.

Stepping outside your comfort zone can lead to love.

I loved this story! It was entertaining, enjoyable, and fun. I was cracking up a lot. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Mia was a great aunt for wanting to be there for her niece Violet but she was woefully unprepared for being in the wilderness. Violet was wonderful because she knew that her aunt wasn’t outdoorsy but wanted to spend time with her anyway. Cyrus seemed like a total mountain man extreme with ALL the skills he needed to survive. Cyrus and Mia were not prepared to meet each other but when they did, they were immediately attracted to each other. Mia’s attempts to learn more about survival in the woods with Cyrus helping her were a lot of fun. I loved their happy ever after.

My Mountain Man Muse
Sometimes all you need is a Muse. I liked this story a lot. Lily wants to write a book, but has serious writer's block until she runs into Jayden and he becomes her Muse. Jayden is a mountain man, but also very alpha and hot so it makes sense the Lily would find him to be an inspiration when she starts writing her book. Loved their interactions and did a lot of laughing as well. Great read.

Mountain Man Rescued
Love doesn’t care about what’s going on, it just is.

I loved this story. It was original, entertaining, and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Declan and Kennedy met while both of them were fighting a forest fire. They were immediately attracted to each other. Kennedy had convinced herself that she couldn’t have him and that she had to leave. Declan was determined to keep Kennedy and immediately started making an over the top plan for how he was going to make it so that he could keep her. There was a tiny bit of drama and angst. I loved their happily ever after.

Mountain Man Obsessed (aka Mountain Man Bought

I really liked this book about a couple that meets when the Hero saves the Heroine from being attacked. Colton and Anna have an unconventional introduction, but hit it off just the same. Colton is over the top with how he feels about Anna. Anna gets there with Colton very quickly. Colton and Anna are great characters and they are great together. Must read.

I recommend reading any or all of these books.

A box with 5 Olivia Turner books you say? Yes please! Each book is about an ott possessive mountain man you say? Yes please. Excellent deal because you're getting each book for $1.25 you say? Yes please! Now that we've got that out of the way I must say that everyone of these reads is a great insta-love story.
Mountain Man Fixated is about Mia who is going with her niece on a girl scout camping trip. She gets separated from the group and gets rescued by Cyrus.
My Mountain Man Muse is about Lily who wants to be an author so she rents a cabin to try and write a book. While out walking she slips on ice and hurts her ankle really bad. Jayden comes across her and takes her back to his cabin to nurse her back to health. By the way Lily is my favorite female character that Olivia Turner has ever written!
Mountain Man Rescued is about Kennedy whose in prison for a crime she didn't commit. The prisoners are being taken to the mountains to fight a forrest fire. Kennedy gets separated from everyone trying to save a birds nest and gets trapped in the fire. Declan lives in the mountains and is also fighting the fire when he hears Kennedy and rescues her and the birds. He tells her she's never going back to prison, she's staying with him forever!
Mountain Man Taken is about Savannah who is hiking and camping in the woods even though she's alone and has no idea what she's doing. Hunter is following her and keeping her safe from a distance until he can't stay away from her anymore. He takes her to his cabin where he wants to keep her forever.
Mountain Man Obsessed is about Anna who is camping with her friends and getting drunk. Colton is watching them and he doesn't like how the boys are treating Anna so he intervenes. He takes her home to his cabin where he can keep her safe.

This was with a single exception a collection of good over the top instalove romance.

If you are looking for a cute and over the top short steamy instalove romance, then you don’t need to look any further. I’ve been reading a few stories by this author and they have all met that criteria. This went the mountain man/ city girl route and it too was a good steamy read. I liked it.

My Mountain Man Muse: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute mountain man romance. I liked the story, it had a good flow and was packed with both steam and humor. Lily and Jayden had great chemistry and I enjoyed reading their story.

Mountain Man Rescued: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute and really over the top instalove mountain man romance. I really liked it because it was so over the top. Kennedy and Declan had great chemistry, and I was crazy about his alpha ways.

Mountain Man Taken: ⭐️⭐️

This story just wasn’t for me. I usually like the OTT alpha thing but this story just took it too far and it became somewhat rape-y. I just couldn’t get over that.

Mountain Man Obsessed: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a good over the top instalove mountain man romance. The storyline was super simple but it worked. Anna and Colton had a strong connection and a lot of chemistry.

Mountain Man Fixated

This was your typical city girl, out of her element in nature, when she is saved from her own disastrous self by a mountain man. Loved that this was simple, hot, OTT, sensual, instantaneous when Cyrus saves Mia. Enjoyed the hilarity of the situations Mia keeps finding herself in, only to come out on top with the best badge possible finding her forever.

Mountain Man Muse

A great steamy storyline of meeting her ideal man on the mountain while on vacation. Loved the inner dialogue from Lily, as she is a bit neurotic, while Jayden is totally focused on keeping the woman who as turn his world upside down. Nice many bonus epilogues into the future of this couple.

Mountain Man Rescued

I will help put out fires with Declan anytime, or better yet he can start one with me. One hot little read when Declan rescues Kennedy, but this isn’t your typical rescue. A definite OTT storyline with daring rescues and well thought out plans all to keep his woman save from harm and being taken away from him. Enjoy this alpha mountain man and the extents he will go to keep his woman forever.

I loved these mountain man stories. There are five alpha mountain men that drew me in and had me all caught up in their stories that are descriptively well written with characters that I connected with. My favorite is "Mountain Man Taken". Savanah heads out to the mountains after her mother's boyfriend and friends get too handsy. Hunter spots her going into the mountains and follows her. There is something about Savannah that draws Hunter in. He keeps a watchful eye out to keep her safe and when they finally connect the sparks ignite between them. Has Hunter finally found the woman for him, and will it lead them to a happily ever after?

I love Olivia T Turner's books and how OTT they are. This Mountain man set is very OTT instalove. I read each of these stories when they came out individually and loved them. Usually in each story there is a mountain man who enjoys life alone in the mountains until he meets her. Just one look at the innocent young woman on his mountain makes him want to carry her away to his isolated cabin so he can make her his forever. The heroine is a woman who is totally out of place in the mountains who finds herself in trouble. She is rescued by her mountain man who teaches her to love the mountain and him. In Olivia's books there is always a happy ending with lots of kids.

This collection of alpha males is funny. Every single female that is encountered in this book thought process it’s funny. she’s talking to herself, she literally tries to roll down the hill log style down to get away from a “Ax murderer “and doesn’t get far. Especially with a sprained ankle. Each male has talked their lost woman city woman to stay with them in the woods. It’s a variety to binge reading or taking your time. Each one and storyline is different from the last one. What’s the woods that they’re in I don’t know how they don’t run into each other but it is funny yet steamy.

Each of these stories in the set have classic OTT possessive alphas who suffer from insta-love when they see their ladies!

Every story, while about a mountain man, is truly unique; no 2 women or mountain men are like anything you’ve ever read before. I also love OTT’s crazy funny book dedications in the front combined with the multiple extended epilogues in the back. You can’t go wrong having all this mountain goodness in one place!.

Five great mountain man stories that are quick, steamy, and hot. I loved each of the stories as they were interesting, exciting, great plot, and wonderful characters. I love how each of the women literally drop right in the perfect spot to meet their mountain man. Each of the men do whatever it takes to catch their women. Love that the stories are all in one box set.

I loved this collection. These mountain men are hot and very obsessed and protective of the woman that knock them over. Each book can be read a standalone but I think having these books in one place, a box set, was perfect. With this box set you get insta-love, steam, heat, protective, possesive and obsessive alpha males as well as heroins who can't help but for these men.

This was a fun set of shorter reads that really brought out that sizzling connection and hot romance. Each story was about a different couple and I have to say that I loved how each one unfolded. Expect to giggle, hit the edge of your seat and to fan yourself over all the insta-love and OTT fun. Very entertaining ;D

Each of these short stories is dual POV, well written, and is over the top, sexy, mountain man fun. I enjoyed the lack of reality and the engagement between each pair of characters. These stories are all separate; no connections, so read them all at once, out of order, or any way you please.

The author has given us a wonderful selection of stories with this collection. Each story gives us an OTT alpha male that knows who they want and will do whatever is necessary to keep the woman of their choice in their lives.

An enjoyable box set…fast, funny, quirky, HOT entertainment. Not anything you’d expect in real life and the storyline could have been expanded on a little but still an enjoyable read.
