For starters, I would like to offer my thanks to the folks at the The Banned Books Club group for giving me the opportunity to read and discuss this and many other fine books. I wanted to give this 5 stars but this version of the book pushed me down to 4. The text was too small and made my eyes fuzzy, I almost gave up! Definitely in need of a re-read.

I can't write much of a review at the moment, since my mind blanked half of the book when I read it in this format, but I do remember loving it.

I really enjoyed this book. It was beautifully written, and the main character was interesting enough that I could ignore how much of a self-pitying, hopeless psycho he was. And I'm not just saying he's a psycho because he fell in love with a 12 year old. Everything about the way his brain worked made him insane. Anyway, I recommend this book. Definitely worth the read.
