Molly has an unusual predicament. Cursed by a witch, she now has to have some form of sexual gratification every day to avoid a painful death. Being sold into the world of sex slaves, however, she hasn't exactly had the most glamorous life. Used and abused, she is finally purchased by Tristan, her new master, and her whole world gets flipped upside down.
The author grabs your attention from the beginning of the story and doesn't let it go. The story has a subtle hint of mystery surrounding Tristan, making the reader crave more. The scenes were light, not overpowering with XXX rated hardcore sex, which is great, because the erotica element is still there, but the reader can really enjoy the storyline as well. That's something that can be hard to come by in an erotica book.
I would like to have read a little more about the scene with Max. I felt it could have been expanded and given some more detail to clue the reader in on some other elements of the story. It does seem the book could be made longer, adding more details and background, however that could be coming in the next installment, so I'll be looking for it in the second book. There were also a few minor errors, however I don't really feel either concern really took away from the story. It was simple to read, the descriptions were great, and it was a light change from the typical BDSM books out there. I can honestly say I enjoyed this book.
I would give this book 4/5 stars. It was a very quick read, the scenes were detailed and intriguing, and all the elements of a good story are there. Sapphire has a great talent for writing and storytelling, and a kinky mind that I'd love to hear more from, so I'll definitely be picking up her next book.

Book 2 in The Bionics series picks up where the first left off, as The Resistance is about to engage in a daring mission that could potentially cost them more lives than they could save. A couple of surprises and a scary revelation leaves two members of The Resistance behind to guard a group of Bionics, including a band of scary rebels that are ready to take the law into their own hands, endangering everything The Resistance stands for. But the two left behind to stand guard have their own battle to fight, and the love triangle that forms aligns two bionics fighting for the same prize on a mission to save the ones left behind.
Oh, the good things I can say about this book! For starters, the quality of the author’s writing style continued in this book, if not improved. It was beautifully written, and easy to read, which is something that can be a huge distraction in books written without the talent this author exhibits.
The tension in this book is so thick it could be cut with a knife. There is a sense of humor, a very intense love triangle, sexual tension, and some really phenomenal action. The author did a fantastic job of bringing the reader into the story so you felt the emotional roller coaster as you read along. I’m not a fan of action by any stretch of the imagination, but this was very well choreographed and very well written. You can tell the author was thinking many steps ahead, planning everything out, and ensuring all the loose ends were tied up, making the story whole, complete, and very well rounded.
What I really appreciated probably more than anything else was when we finally got to hear a little more about Dax and Blythe’s background, and the creation of the Resistance. Getting to hear what it was like and how they met not only gives you insight as to the tension between them, but also lets you get inside their heads and really get to know them. It was a very big addition to the story, and much needed.
I really don’t have any suggestions for the author to improve, other than please get that third book available soon, because I am simply dying to read it! This book has one heck of a cliffhanger that has me on edge and anxious to find out what happens next, especially with Gage and the teaser in the end. I give this book 5/5 stars-hands down a book that I’ll reread and recommend.

The future looks grim, especially if you’re a victim of the program created by a government that now resents those same victims they created. Known as the Bionics, men, women, and children who suffered the loss of limbs, organs, and even skin in the nuclear war are now outlaws whose only hope is the Resistance. That’s where Blythe comes into play, rescuing the refugee Bionics, saving them from a death sentence if caught by Military Police.
One of the first things I noticed about this book is the very real possibility of these actual events occurring, perhaps much sooner than the year in which this story takes place. There are many factors in the scene that make this story seem much more real than others of its genre. The author does a wonderful job of opening the story with action, captivating the reader from the first page, and keeping that energy throughout the rest of the book. I absolutely loved the tension, the descriptions, and the inner struggles Blythe has going on inside her head. One downside to this story is that it’s quite short and the reader is left wanting more of the story. But that’s not really such a bad thing, since I’m certain the action picks right back up in book 2 of the series. I do wish there was a little more background given on some of the characters, like Dax. I’d love to know more about his story and how he came to be in the resistance, and perhaps a little more background on how the Resistance itself came about. Some details are provided, but the reader is still left with just a few questions. I don’t feel it really takes away from the quality of the story, however, it’s just something I would have liked to see more of.
I’m really looking forward to reading the second book in this series, because the author did such a great job setting up the tension that I’m craving more. I would definitely give this 4/5 stars, and would be 5 had there been just a little more background to the story.

In Part 2 of the serial novel, Myadar's Betrayal, the story picks up nicely and continues on the adventures of Myadar in her new and agonizing life. The exquisite artistry with which the author paints the scene continues when Myadar begins living the life of luxury in spite of her guilty conscience nagging at her behind the numbness. When Myadar finally has a friend to rely on, the reader gets swept up in her dirty little secrets while the mysterious findings from Riester's room dance at the edge of the reader's mind, tempting with possibilities of things that may come. Of course, Reister's shady meetings make the reader curious as to what dirty dealings he has going on, and curious as to whether Myadar could become a vigilante Robin Hood style heroine.
This part of the novel plays on the emotions more than ever. The reader is led to feel the emotions of Myadar as if they belonged to the reader. Finally forging a plan of escape with the man she loves, her worst nightmare comes true as she learns everything she has been led to believe has been a lie, and the only person she loves besides her son is the one person who has been working with her greatest foe. Reeling from the revelation of her mistakes, she vows to take revenge on those who have hurt her. The ending of Part 2 is gripping and I can't wait to continue this series and find out what the next course of action is for Myadar, as well as whether or not she lives to tell the story.
Between the vivid descriptions, the excellent style of the author's storytelling, and the way the reader is thrust into this world created by the author, I would have to give this story 5/5 stars. I'm really looking forward to continuing Myadar's adventures in Part 3. Well done, Sophia!
