I am always on the lookout for an author that can deliver action that lasts through the entire book and never drags. There is nothing worse than readi I am always on the lookout for an author that can deliver action that lasts through the entire book and never drags. There is nothing worse than reading a book that promises action and I find myself skimming through all the other stuff to get to the action bits.

I did not have that problem with this book. The action, romance, and banter kept going from the first page to the last. I was never bored or tempted to skim.

There are other books in the series and I haven't read any of them. It is obvious that some of the characters have back stories, but not knowing them did not detract from my enjoyment of the story. It is instalove and fatedmates. What I really loved that even after they got all lovey dovey they still bantered and teased each other.

It is low on the spice compared to the other books I read. It's not closed door, its just not graphic or frequent. On the angst meter it is also low. The tension comes from the conflict with the big bad. ...more

I am willing to accept certain short cuts for insta-love and erotica. I don’t expect books of this type to have a lot of plot or depth of character. This is the third I have read (I read 1 &4 at this point) in the series and the least developed.

For an insta-love it relies heavily on a conversation the MC has with a different character, that we don’t even see.

For an erotica there isn’t enough spice.

This series is a lot of fun. Just, skip this one, and read a different book in the series. ...more

I sorta wanted him to change his mind about homosexuality BEFORE falling in love with a guy. Felt..cheap. Although I am sure it happens. I was not a fan.

I did enjoy being with Max while he realized how terrible a person he had been. It was good to see him evolving.
