I admit, I was hesitating to finish off this series with the last book because from the reviews I re IF I COULD RATE THIS HIGHER THAN 5 STARS, I WOULD.

I admit, I was hesitating to finish off this series with the last book because from the reviews I read, it seemed like it was going to be boring. Especially since it took me a while to finish off the second book (there were a lot of parts that were annoying). I was also hesitating to buy the physical paperback copy, but I AM SO. BLOODY. GLAD. THAT. I. DID.

I LOVE to keep the physical copy of books I know I'm going to love. So THANK GOD, I bought this one instead of reading it on my Kindle.

Will. Oh Will. He is DEFINITELY up there with one of my most favourite and inspirational heroes. I can't get enough of him.

This book was NOWHERE NEAR BORING! IMO, it was way better than the second AND... DARE I SAY IT... FIRST BOOK. Seriously. This was the perfect end to the series. Like, perfect.

I didn't think I was going to like it EVEN MORE than the first book, but YES, I did. There were a lot of events and stuff we didn't know about that actually happened around the time of the first book. There was also a lot more new slam poetry in it (I LOVE READING THOSE PARTS!!). We also get to see some of the present (and at the end, 3 years into the future :3).

It was great seeing the first book from Will's perspective. I think his perspective made the series absolutely perfect. Tbh, sometimes I think Lake isn't that deserving of someone as great as him (not that I hate her or anything... just that she hasn't shown much to be worthy of my amazing Mr Cooper lol).

Oh man. This series officially goes into my top favourites. I can't stress enough how freaking perfect the ending was... The last chapter, 'My Final Piece' was amazing. I'll put it up as a spoiler but I advise you to just read the whole book instead LOOOOOOOOOL.

Oh man. This book was freaking amazing. YOU GUYS HAVE TO READ IT!!!! DON'T BE DISSUADED BY THE COMMENTS LIKE I INITIALLY WAS!!!!!! IT'S BETTER THAN THE FIRST BOOK GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW.

This book was amazing! I liked it A LOT more than Divergent!

People told me the story was slow paced, but honestly, I found that it was fast-paced WOW.

People told me the story was slow paced, but honestly, I found that it was fast-paced and never boring! I actually thought that it was Divergent that had slow-paced moments lol...

The only thing I'm a little confused about was the ending... To be honest, what was revealed didn't feel that dangerous - at least not enough for Jeanine to go through far lengths to 'protect' it from being revealed... lol.

Recommended.

This book was phenomenal. I usually don't like to read books that date back to the 90's, but I had to read it for school and was quite surprised to fi This book was phenomenal. I usually don't like to read books that date back to the 90's, but I had to read it for school and was quite surprised to find that I ended up LOVING it.

Great, realistic characters were shaped and molded throughout this novel. There was also a lot of informative background context regarding Australian society at the time, yet at the same time the book remained interesting. I don't think there was a character I hated in the novel. Perhaps it was because everyone was so real and I could always understand where they were coming from and somehow relate to each of them.

Every character in this book helped Josephine, our protagonist, to grow. I thought she was quite immature at first, but then I realised, being about the same age, I sometimes saw the world how she did. She's only a teenager after all. Yet it's scary and daunting to think that she hasn't really even lived yet. I mean, it makes me sort of scared for the future, but isn't everyone else the same?

This book was somewhat similar to many other books I read, as it deals with the downfalls of life and beating the shit out of the damned fuckery that happens in it. It deals with a lot of the problems and worries we face, even today. Everyone goes through them in their lifetime.

It was so inspirational. It's all about wanting to soar high and forget about all those hurdles that seem endless to us. If I read books like this at the time that I had depression, it would have probably lifted my soul from that dark abyss that took me ages to destroy.

Anyways, I really enjoyed this book, and I will most DEFINITELY be reading On The Jellicoe Road, especially since my friend has kept telling me to read it for the past three years! I should have read Marchetta's books waaaay earlier! Ah man!

5/5 stars.
