I had never heard of Fannie Sellins before and enjoyed reading about her early activism for labor and the unions. She worked as a seamstress and originally sought justice in St Louis's sweatshops, but moved on to coal country and miners' unions in her later years. No one strike is featured overall, but there is a timeline of labor strikes in the end matter. There are also end notes, websites and sources given. This book is especially timely, given the disparagement of labor unions today....more

No, it really made me want the rich guys to pay THEIR taxes. Sweden is looking pretty good right about now.
