They just.... theoretically love each other from afar and don't even really make any dumb mistakes about it? Like c'monnnnnn. Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood literally did have an affair. (hide spoiler)] It was entertaining enough, but it just felt like the emotional payoff wasn't totally there. The format wasn't my favorite, though I do think it will make a good TV show for that reason. Looking forward to watching the series....more

The writing was bad, the main character called herself a whore (just for... letting a man into her apartment...), the relationships were wildly toxic, and the plot "twists" were all immensely predictable. I save one-star ratings for things I don't finish because hell, I've never written a novel so I don't feel especially authorized to be overly mean to people who've done something I haven't, and if nothing else this was certainly page-turning fluff, but... whew boy. If this is what women are reading these days, I'm genuinely concerned....more
