A man of many faces, all of them smirking, he takes the challenge to find other human women who may have been abducted from Earth.
Maude is living in an open prison, unknowingly being experimented on when the alien tech that latched on to her allows it. Is it this and the stress of aliens being real that is slowly taking her mind?
Nope. But it's nice to think that.
There ion rescues the human, after inviting all the guards and fellow inmates to a prison riot, after lunch...
I seriously laughed out load as this story went on.
Bane and Maude are well matched and their story acts as a great foil to the horror and slow realisation that unfolds in this second instalment to this world....more

Seph is abducted from Earth and hides as a synth bot until purchased. As usual, the biggest baddest Alen takes a shine to her whilst her brain seems to implode with voices in her head and dreadnought spaceships her only form of transport.

Thalia is Trust Ash & Webster to pull a mindf?£kery stunt You can tell this story is going to have a massive car crash of emotional turmoil, can't you? Thalia is a half Greek, half Italian, blond blue eyed, sweet and innocent twenty year old living the life of a spoiled rich girl. So that means studying art history, acting and writing.
Her father is a cack handed criminal who crosses the Demetriou family for the last time. The result? Selling his daughter into a loveless marriage with the heir apparent to the dominant crime family in Crete, Kostas.
It all goes horribly wrong in this, the first of a two part story.
I personally hate cliff hangers unless I have all the books at my disposal. And this was no different. The only reason I read this was on promise of the advance copy. I've not read Nikki Ash before but I am a committed Krazy, so where Webster goes I WILL follow.
This heroine is too stupid to live, and doesn't see the clues that come screaming out of the page at you. I didn't read this for Talia. I am all over Kostas. He emerges as the most honourable of villains, tied to a life of crime and violence by the generations before him and the sins of his family.
He is a warrior with a strict moral code, having to now deal with a woman who is strong willed but, to my mind quite dim witted.
I am so intruiging by this mix I'm keen to see how it will all pan out. (I think Aries is all over this one...)...more
