A seasonal read. Juliette 'Jett' Kelsey, the not spoiled heiress is weighed down by her own feelings of not being good enough for her father and argues with her ideas for Kelsey Automobiles.
Jett HATES H Trip FreakingMartin who is the son Mitch never had, a rising star in the business, working his way up from mechanic to effectively COO.
Family Thanksgiving, Trup is invited to join them. What could go wrong. To go right
A lovely snappy read, full of sharp dialogue and Gadziala's light touch as she weaves the hearts of the two lovers together.
Loved this.

So I've been distracted....I'd promised a #DarkThanos fanfic and thought I had a distinctly original plot. Then I casually started reading this long long awaited novel from UK indie author, Penelope Fletcher. Not known for prolific writing, this book genuinely blew me away by its 'otherness'
So I am sulking.
Because the ideas in here are particularly harrowing but oh so good. Although this is the 3rd in the series it is written as a standalone.
I'll return to Thanos after I've gotten over my loss of 'original ideas' But enjoy this whilst you're waiting if you've not already met the Aztekans!...more

The H and h relationships are quirky and loosely revolve around the PI world they inhabit
This was no different but this time, the story touched on a number of areas personal to me.
I love love loved this story.
Clarke, has gone missing. As the h, is the daughter of Collings, a retired detective, this naturally brings in Barratt Anderson, a nerdy, whippet thin PI that I have personally been jonesing for ever since he was introduced to the world.
Was not disappointed. At all.
And the Epilogues. Sometimes These dissapoint. But not this time.
Clarke remained feisty and loving and a bit off centre throughout the story, letting Gadziala pull no punches as the couple figured out their own unique HEA.

A great little read chock full of emotional baggage that made me get totally behind all of the retribution being rained down from this Navesink bank couple.
Coupled with the teaser Epilogue and the future Henchmen Legacy hinted at by mini Adler interrogation this is a series that really needs to run and run.
Loved this story! (ge read some other boring review for the synopsis, I don't got time for that..the feels the FEELS!!!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😍😍😍loved it, Gadziala has gadz- iall -da good stories but I think it can't get any better than Adler for me

Great to have a blond H for once. So, usually they're all so dark and brooding and uber alpha.
Cressida Irons leaves her soulless marriage to begin life again as a high school English and history teacher and falls for a smooth talking biker. Turns out he's more that what he seems and determined to have and hold her.
Fireworks of a relationship. Love the angst although she did go on about stuff at almost every urn right up until he's like "On your knees and suck it, like you want to." And she caves. Drooling 😂😂
Great writing and compelling story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars

Four Fathers, they said. You'll enjoy it, they said. What could go wrong, they said... So. There is no easy way to say this. This is not the book you want to read for the end of a series. But it is a book that you'll crave. Whilst you scream in frustration It all starts so innocently:

Stasia however has made me a convert of this genre, proving that a great author can make anything believable.
It wasn't just the whole world building, the life situations and the general scrappiness of Audrey that made this a very believable story. Although all of that was great. It was the something more that made you think this could happen in real life...
("What's not to believe about the last billionaire werewolf shifter vampire MMA caged underground fighting bratva Mafia bad boy next door secret baby second chance alien warrior regency romance you just read?" I hear you cry....)
As usual I was gasping within the first few chapters, but not for the usual reasons. Which was weirdly challenging but good.
As I got the ARC I'm sure the final grammatical errors and minor spellchecking will work their way out of this dirty little book (which I so hope is just the start of a massive series, Missy!) so that it's as squeaky clean ready as it deserves.
Thank you for trusting me with an ARC of this really fabulous story 5 sprouting stars...more

This was my first Bene book and I absolutely LOVED IT. ( I can't do the whole GIF thing in reviews or I would totally have the whole Noah Hill screaming and waving his hands in here right now...)
Andre the H was portrayed more realistically than other lead men in this genre. He was gritty, raw, and unredeemable pre-Nicky. anything to get the job done. Great to hear from his POV as well. Nicky the h provides light to his dark, even though she goes through a horrific experience to save his soul and make bring him the family he thought he'd never have again.

So I wasn't sure how Jade was going to square the screwed up nature of his logic, but maybe the book is already long enough without adding any further twists.
I loved the dynamic that developed between Brett, Thomas and Grace and that we were not distracted by endless descriptions of the local town and its charms. The claustrophobic unraveling of this story was really well done.
I don't know that I get Polly, what with her being nothing than a few memories and texts. I would have loved throwback memory a bit longer than the letter from Gorge to establish her as a valid future love and life partner.

That whole 'Imma hide my big secret' thing for Callie? Didn't like that. At all. It just made her a rapid backhand slap candidate for most of this book.
Everyone was mostly a total sh!t for the best part of this book (even baby Chatlie joined in towards the end, sheesh!) and Callie seemed to go off the rails using sex to assuage the very real pains caused by the continued betrayal of trust in her life.
You would think that by now she would have learned to trust no-one without at least doing a serious bit of due diligence, but Noooooo. Here she is again, even worse off at the start of this book, her unit family shattered and her spirit out for dominance if not able to get vengeance.
My kindle is dented from the number of times I flung it at the wall, only to crawl back over to where it lay, blinking up at me, urging me to continue my teeth clenching swipe /scroll on through with this story,p. Something pushed me to continue,
And. I.Am.So. Glad. I. Did
Yay, this roller coaster comes to a great brutal but satisfying little conclusion following Callie's idiot solo attempt to get herself out of the mess she walked herself in to.
The sexual exploration she and her constant hero, Jackson, enjoyed is definately a bit off the charts, but, in light of what she was subjected to in the first book I'm just relieved that there were SOME hard limits in this book.
Yaaaaaaas! to happy endings Callie is definately a different woman by the end of this book and she does her transformation without the safety of a chrysalis, poor thing. A heart wrenching, well written story Stasia McStirrer. Imma 1-click this author but I warn you now, Stasia Black You owe me a kindle. Again...more

THIS was the last in the four Xmas reads released by each of the four authors and was nearly my fave out of the four (sorry, Ruby Dixon's IPB story just edged to win because, well it's IPB...)
But this story had everything you want from a smexy Xmas read: the angst, the trembling 'will they? won't they?' and then the relief of 'yes they're finally together and they'll not be torn apart, yippee!'
Was especially happy to see how Mia grew a backbone to fight for what and whom she loves....more

Casey is nearly 18 and a product of the foster care system, courtesy of a mother who abandoned her as a baby outside a church at Xmas.
Casey's life is forever changed when she accepts the offer to live in the household of the open and loving Tyler Kline and his tortured genius of a younger brother Torin Kline.
But all is not as it seems. Not with the house or the household. This is a love story, courageously tearing to get out and be told.
This is not a menage although I slowly grew to wishing it was. But it is about the love that can grow between three souls, in spite of almost insurmountable odds.
This is a tear jerker, a gasper, a boundary breaker but also a thoroughly great read....more
