Ugh this series keeps getting better and better! I loved Charlie & Ruby…but I’m forever weak for second chance, and I’m now completely obsessed with Davis and Dakota!
Six years apart and Dakota finds herself in trouble. When she calls her dad, who does he send to her rescue? Her ex, the man she’s never forgotten, the man who now swears to protect her and her unborn child with his life.
Everything about this story was perfect. Davis and Koty’s hot but heartwarming love. The sizzling chemistry. The suspense of waiting for the other shoe to finally drop. The tense but ride-or-die family bonds. It was all SO. GOOD.
If you love small town, cowboys, broody, alpha male heroes, and romantic suspense, you’ll love this one!...more
“Love is made with little moments, and we have enough to build a castle.”
YOU GUYYSSSSSS. I first slid into Meredith’s DMs about this book all the way “Love is made with little moments, and we have enough to build a castle.”
YOU GUYYSSSSSS. I first slid into Meredith’s DMs about this book all the way back in late October, and I’ve literally been foaming at the mouth to get my hands on it since.
It did NOT disappoint.
Everything about this story was raw and real, hot and heartwarming. I love Nina. Trapp handled her anxiety so well, and I appreciated having my struggles reflected so well in a character. And I loved how she wasn’t afraid to chase her dreams despite being oftentimes ruled by her anxiety. She was so strong and brave, and SO mature for her age.
Goodness. From the moment I started this series, I was absolutely SALIVATING for Cage’s book, and he and Presley were 100% worth the wait. Y’all know Goodness. From the moment I started this series, I was absolutely SALIVATING for Cage’s book, and he and Presley were 100% worth the wait. Y’all know I’m a slut for second chance. The angst surrounding these two, Cage’s grumpy-but-he’s-only-soft-for-his-girls demeanor, Presley’s personal life drama…ugh it was perfection. Definitely my fave of the series, which is saying something because every single book was ♾️/5.
Our next Thursday, 11/16! Thank you so much Laura and Valentine PR for the ARC ...more

Rating: ♥️♥️♥️♥️/5
Pinky Kumar and Samir Jha are polar opposites. Pinky is rebellious, always flitting from one cause to the next, doing everything she can she piss off her parents. Samir is quiet, controlled, always doing whatever he can to maintain his carefully constructed life. They don’t like each other, at all. But when Pinky finds herself in a bind and Samir’s prestigious summer internship falls through at the last moment, the two hatch a plan. If Samir pretends to be Pinky’s boyfriend for the summer, she’ll hook him up with a new internship with her high powered attorney mother. So he agrees. And what follows is a summer full of bickering and flying sparks.
Fake dating AND enemies to lovers?! Sign. Me. Up. Every time I read one of Menon’s stories, I fall even more in love with her writing. I love every single one of her characters, and Pinky we and Samir were no different. This was such a fun but truthful and heart wrenching story, full of personal growth and teenage drama. I also adored the supporting cast of Pinky’s family and a special furry friend. The only thing that stopped this short of being a five star read for me was that the ending felt rushed.
Can’t wait to dive into my next Menon story!
