I think this is a great conclusion for the duology. The characters all have great character development, the plot is entertaining enough to keep you hooked and makes you root for the mc. She really is a lot like Aelin and Jude, even though I like them more than Brie. Finn and Sebastian are both great love interests, and even tho it’s clear who she’s gonna chose from 30% into the book, it’s still fun to see them fighting each other.
I was in a fantasy reading slump and I ended reading this duology in two days, so you can see how fast paced and enjoyable this book was. I really recommend it! ...more
I haven’t been able to read fantasy in a while and every book I picked up just put me in a reading slump, so I wa5/5⭐️
Why hadn’t I read this before?!
I haven’t been able to read fantasy in a while and every book I picked up just put me in a reading slump, so I was not excited to read Sky in the Deep even tho tiktok told me I HAD to read it. I don’t regret this choice!!
The characters are wonderful, the plot is entertaining, the romance is very cute (and very secondary to the plot may I add). It’s also very fast paced so perfect to get you out of a fantasy reading slump!! Pls read this, it’s so good ...more
Darius and Darcy have lost so much in this book, they deserve so much love and just a peaceful week. However, I love that the obstacles have unit4/5⭐️
Darius and Darcy have lost so much in this book, they deserve so much love and just a peaceful week. However, I love that the obstacles have united them somehow, that’s exactly what this book needed, now they have some kind of bond and it’s amazing. I also love how the twins and the heirs have come to an agreement and are now in a good place, fighting for the exact same thing together!!! They should’ve realized that they’re stronger together sooner but wtvs. And the new ships? Hell yes. I can’t wait for the next book to see how the authors develop this Im not giving this five stars because it’s too freaking long and it was tiresome at times. Also, bc of what they did to Lance. So unfair ...more
Sorcery of Thorns has that type of characters that will get you hooked instantly, so it’s no surprise how much I4/5⭐️
Literally the perfect novella….
Sorcery of Thorns has that type of characters that will get you hooked instantly, so it’s no surprise how much I missed the three of them. Nathaniel’s humor, Elisabeth’s mind and Silas in general.
This novella is much more centered in character relationships than in the actual plot, which I was actually surprised by it cause it’s not usually that interesting in novellas but it added a lot of value to the book. So basically we get to see Elisabeth and Nathaniel’s relationship develop and a lot of little moments between them that we couldn’t really see in Sorcery of Thorns. Everything I asked for :)
Perfect if you LOVED sorcery of thorns, very cozy, nostalgic and adorable ...more

Not the best rating but this was the perfect book to start the year!!
I’ve been wondering about what the heck goes through their mind since I read the first book so this was exactly what I needed. Now I can understand their motives better and even sympathize with them!!! I still don’t understand everything but now I have clear who my favorite characters are and they’re clearly Darcy and Lance. Im not really into the teacher+student trope but this is complete different (cause the age difference is like 6 years and they’re both of age ofc), and the way Orion is so infatuated by her is just AGHHH it could end badly so I’m scared for them but they’re totally soulmates. I also feel super bad for Darius like I hated him but now that I know his reasons I just feel his pain. He needs to fuck Tory already tho, it’s making me nervous. And Tory is badass and I love her :) The rest of them I still don’t give a shit about but I mostly dislike Seth. This could obviously change in future books tho… I’ll come back if it happens heheh ...more
This is a twilight remake and I love it. I never read twilight, but I've watched the movies and this is basically that. Honestly, you would think 3/5⭐
This is a twilight remake and I love it. I never read twilight, but I've watched the movies and this is basically that. Honestly, you would think I would get tired of the same fantasy book with the same plot and morally great characters, but no, it's so cliche that I love it. I spoiled myself with the rest of the series so I might as well read it in the future lol ...more
Wow what an ending. I really dislike bully romances so this wasn’t really my taste and the student/teacher attraction I also dislike. However, I’3/5⭐️
Wow what an ending. I really dislike bully romances so this wasn’t really my taste and the student/teacher attraction I also dislike. However, I’m going to get past my own personal preferences to continue with the series bc I love the Vega twins and the plot has such a good premise, I KNOW it will only get better so I can’t wait to read the next book :) ...more
