Ritsu and Masamune were a couple in HS after Ritsu confessed his love. But, that was 10 years ago, and how it ended left both of them feeling messed-up inside. Neither thought they would ever meet again. But, neither has forgotten, either.
Ritsu, the son of the CEO of Onodera Publishing, is tired of everyone believing that he only achieves success by using his father's name. So, he quits the company and finds work elsewhere. But, he never expected a job as a shoujo manga editor, when he has never even read manga. And, he never expected to be working under his first love, either.

Io has fallen to the planet, Earth, and he has chosen Hako as his wife--the woman that he will marry and have children with. Hako, who is avoided by all men, because of her inevitable and consisent run of bad luck, is not really ready for this. All she has ever known of love is her ex-boyfriend, who blamed her for ruining his life, and left her. She has never known the sort of passionate and doting romance that Io is always laying on her. And, if he were not incessantly focused on sex, this would be perfect. But, regardless, he does win her heart, just in the nick of time.
I'm curious how this story will end. I need to read more....more

This 1-volume manga has a nice DB/DBZ crossover aspect at the end, where we are treated to the story of Goku coming to Earth as a baby from Planet Ve This 1-volume manga has a nice DB/DBZ crossover aspect at the end, where we are treated to the story of Goku coming to Earth as a baby from Planet Vegeta. However, the normal story is fun as well. But, Tights Briefs is still my favorite character in this manga. Little Bulma was a delight as well.

I just want to make a note here that a man should not make light of a woman's feelings or force himself onto her, no matter how much he knows that she loves him. If you're making love, and she says *No* or tells you to stop, continuing on (even if just because he wants it) is rape. And, that is not sexy, nor does it turn the reader on. It's obvious that the mangaka probably did not want it to come across that way, but keep in mind that this is aimed at the 18-25, and some people will take it that way. Otherwise, this is a nice ending to the series. --------------------- Hokuto has gotten all his problems worked out now, and has pretty much distanced himself from the Mamiya family. He has chosen to go back to using his mother's surname, Miura....a name which he is fully intent upon giving to Chiwa....as they are marrying again. And, this time, their happy marriage will be forever. -------------------- I just really wish we had found out whether or not Chiwa actually is pregnant. Hokuto and Chiwa having a child would have been a nice ending to the series, too.

This volume was *hit-and-miss* for me. I loved that it was more action-packed than the last couple volumes, since that was what made me love *Bleach* This volume was *hit-and-miss* for me. I loved that it was more action-packed than the last couple volumes, since that was what made me love *Bleach* originally. But, I also felt that some of the battles were pointless, and didn't really add much to the story.
Contrary to what people would think, I enjoyed Rukia's part in this volume. I don't really like her, but that could possibly change in the future. ----------------- I want to thank Viz for giving me the chance to read and review this volume. All opinions expressed here are my own....more

I would immediately do so, if I weren't also reading the Miracle Girls series right now. I would love to catch up on Food Wars ~ Shokugeki no Souma soon, and watch the anime as well.
In the first part, Soma and Tadokoro pair up. We all know that Megumi is a weak cook on her own. Luckily, she works well as part of a pair. Her and Soma easily win the Nature Challenge.
But, the second challenge finds them working separately, and Tadokoro gets expelled for slightly changing a recipe to better it. This upsets Soma, and he issues the head chef of that challenge a "shougeki" notice meaning that he wants to battle him one-on-one. If Soma wins, he demands that Megumi not be expelled from camp/school. This ends the main story of this volume.
There is also an enjoyable short story about 2 friends that refuse to admit how they feel about one another. They end up telling one another they'll give each other romance advice. He pretends he wants to confess to another girl, but he cannot do it. She overhears him saying this to the other girl, and then, tells him she has a crush in someone. We know it's him, but he doesn't. She doesn't straight-out tell him, but her actions speak well....more

*Nisekoi* is an amazing series. I only wish the US version of the series were further along, since I have seen that the scanslations of this series a *Nisekoi* is an amazing series. And, with women getting drunk on Whiskey BonBons for New Year's and one giving a chocolate statue to Raku for V-Day, you know that this story is a blast. Throw in half-a-dozen seat changes in class and a diner filled with gang members and Yakuza and SWAT, and you know that things will never be boring! ------------------- I want to thank VIZ Media for giving me the chance to read and review this in advance. I've been putting this series off for awhile. I really wish I hadn't, since this volume was sooooo good. I enjoyed it alot. At first, I thought: "Kids with little robots? How original!", and remembered how much I wanted to love "Cubix" back in the day. But, this series is alot better, and I should try watching the anime as well.
Van is a fun child with an ambitious attitude. I always enjoy reading about the heroes that go after what they want, especially when they truly have a reason to do so. And, once Van gets his special LBX, and finds out that his father is actually still alive, he and his friends definitely have a reason. I know the whole "The future of the world lies in the hands this small group of children." thing is cliche' and overdone, but it works really well for this series.
I will definitely be continuing this series....more
I enjoyed this one alot more than The Price of Naivety, which was the first manga "episode" I read on Google Play books, which is good because I have I enjoyed this one alot more than The Price of Naivety, which was the first manga "episode" I read on Google Play books, which is good because I have several more "episodes" of this series to read. ---------------- This story reminds me mildly of both Chobits and *Hand Maid May*, and reminds me I need to finish watching the latter. ---- He orders a trial kit off the Internet to try out the wonderful "RealMaid" figure, who will "care for you, if you care for her". He ends up falling in love with her and gets an "infinite extension", but cannot keep real life from getting in the way. Ultimately, she shuts down, and he is miserable.
Luckily, a few weeks later, a new kit starts arriving, with a note from her saying that "I knew this would happen, and ordered you another kit.". Will he do better, given a second chance?...more
