I received this book in my first ever Uppercase Box!! I was immediately intrigued when I read the dust jacket and I will admit this is probably a book I never would have picked to read for myself.

The Verdict: I LOVED IT!!! I was hooked from the very beginning and could not put the book down. I loved the world building and I loved all the characters. There were so many twists I never saw coming and I never connected any of the clues along the way. Of course all my “ah ha” moments made me feel kinda stupid, but the author did an awesome job misdirecting me.

Amani was BADASS and I loved the chemistry between her and Jin. There is a little slow burning romance happening there.

How long until I can get my hands on book two?? There is more story to be told!!
