At the beginning of this book I was afraid it wouldn't be original due to the 'cliche' relationships between the characters. The imperfect girl, the abusive father, the perfect sister, the dead mother. I just felt like I ended up in a story I had already read before.
Luckily it took a turn for the better, the story was actually kinda original and I ended up liking it. It isn't one of my favorite books, but still pretty good.
