really liked it

Maid continually showed me the determination it takes to survive poverty and the ignorance it takes to ignore and judge it. Millions of Americans are one event away from losing everything yet millions more turn a blind eye or condemn them as lazy. The author did a great job of letting us walk with her through poverty, single motherhood, despair, illness, joy and hope.
