3 It was an okay read
Death of Darkness was an okay read. I think I would have enjoyed it more had I follow the series and read the books in order. I did feel like I was jumping into the middle of a plot and the last few books have been intense.
What can I say, It was free from the library and it passed the time.
This one is Seth’s story and I didn’t care too much for the romance between him and Leah. I didn’t see it and I didn’t get the chemistry. She’s a cool chick and he’s a cool dude, but two great characters doesn’t make a great couple.
Kirsten Potter is an awesome narrator and 100% made the book. This could have been a BORING book, but her tone and character transitions were excellent.
I wouldn’t rule the series out entirely, but just focus on the first book and then move in order from there.
