April her mom and brother are the only humans left in the world after an infection came around and turned everyone to blood thirst vampires, she thinks the three of them are the only ones who can walk under the sun, but when in one of their hunts for food they do to the Las Vegas abandon buildings she ends up going back alone to her mountain house after during the daylight her mom and brother never return, she must assume she's no the only one left to walk during the day if they were kidnapped.

She starts her hunt for her family after that and goes around killing anything that gets in her way.

Exploring her city will help her learn that what she believed if far from reality and soon finds a group of hybrid vampires who are willing to help her find her family and get the vampires that are holding them up, all she needs to do is give them some of her blood so the can see what is the cause why she hasn't been infected by the vampire virus even after being bitten. She will gladly help as long as they help her get her mom and brother.


I thing this is a great book and I"m ready for whatever fallows after this book,
Can't wait to read more.
