it was amazing
bookshelves: contemporary, romance, second-chance, slow-burn

Win win win. I fucking love this book. A marriage in trouble where both sides try their level best at honestly to make it work.
A slow burn romance that explodes at the end.
Several emotional, raw and real conversations that made me cry a river.
A family bond so huge and strong you can’t help but envy.
This book just worked for me. I never understood the true depths of anxiety until I read Aiden’s thoughts. The pain and numbness and confusion and frustration. It was vivid. The part where Freya understood her mistakes and finally put herself in his shoes. Ugh chefs kiss. 5 stars.
